Ive been using the order-by-mail since the covid lock-down. Service has been incredibly quick. So easy! And now Ive starting using the drive-up pickup, and it was fast and easy. The person delivering the groceries was extremely kind. Very happy with the experience.
The last two times we’ve gone have been a bad experience and both times were because of the same employee- Ruth.I approached her asking for paper towels so I can sanitize the cart I was grabbing since the roll was empty immediately she answered with “we don’t have anything” so I again let her know what I can use to wipe down the cart and she claims target has nothing. So safety isn’t a concern for them anymore and they are not cleaning shopping carts anymore. I walked over to the Starbucks inside and asked for napkins there, explaining to them why I wanted some and I was just trying to be safe, luckily they said yes and handed me some. VERY appreciative for that Starbucks employee.Second trip Ruth was on registers. When trying to put my number on the pin pad, midway, it disappears so I tell my partner to let her know I wasn’t done. Now I work retail so all of that isn’t new to me. She doesn’t even try to help she just looks at us and asks “do you have the app” I let her know it’s a new phone and I don’t have the app installed yet. So she says “Download the app today and insert the receipt.” All because she couldn’t take an extra second to just pop it up so I can fully type in my phone #. From both experiences she shows laziness and poor customer service. Very disappointed that target isn’t prioritizing being clean and safe anymore.
Tried to buy a video game today. Saw it in the case, but no one with the key would bring it so I got turned away.
Clean storefront and environment. Products were stock well and check out times were fast. Staff seem friendly and cheerful. Always a nice shopping experience. Store was crowded but everyone was able to move around store easily.
It takes literally 5 hours most of the time to get the notification that my order is ready. Also I called Pleasant Hill Target 20 times in a hour with no pick up. What type of business doesn’t answer the phone & this isn’t the first time. My workplace has to answer every call every time why can’t Target???I attached screenshots all from today. Horrible!!
The items I received were not the items I ordered. I ordered 4 different food items and only received 3. Only 1 of the 4 was the actual item Id ordered, the other two were random. When I looked at my app after picking up the order, there was no notice that the items Id purchased were unavailable and/or replaced with other items (if this is what happened, the substituted items were not at all similar to what Id ordered). Also, it appears I was charged for the original items I ordered.
Everything is good. But there are some things that dont really suite me here. Im a huge lego fan and when I walked.into the lego sections a couple months back all the had was a lego Fiat and the James Bond Aston Martin. When I went to the office supplies no erasable pens only ball point. In the card section no soccer cards no pokemon and it sucks. Last time I was there after shopping we went to the Starbucks. I was going to get my order Ice Peach Green Tea Lemonade and the dont have the lemonade all they had was passion which I dont like. The rest of it is good. Great customer serviceBTW when you are getting Starbucks there the old lady is nice
Consistently mostly untidy shelves, very poor selection of bathroom accessories, these shelves looking particularly pitiful see photo. For the time Ive been coming here I dont recall these particular items ever being fully stocked and appealing they always look mostly like in the photo. Missing or hard to find price on some items - on ladders and steps there was no price on the shelf or on the products.I went here this morning expecting Mashka in Ghirardelli Square to be open, based on the hours posted online on Google and Facebook. But it was closed, with no hours posted on the door. I waited til about 12:45. I tried calling, but no answer and no recorded message. Then I tried calling another Mashka location. No answer there either. I hope someone will update the store hours online for both locations so that others won’t waste their time like I did today. I really was hoping to shop there, so I’m disappointed.
This Target location very rarely has their shelves stocked. I only use this location for drive up orders. If I want to browse and shop I will go to San Ramon or Walnut Creek.

The service was fast and Julia at Guest Services was delightful
Target is one of my favorite stores. Such a variety of goods.
Clean store, lines are quick. Never had an issue.
I just like the convenience of finding lots of different items at Target. Its literally a one stop shop for most of your household needs.
This Target in Pleasant Hill not has reduced the mens clothing department to little more than an afterthought, the men they are catering to is Mr Trendy, the type guy wholl spend a whole paycheck on the newest color of mauve to be featured on a sport jacket and skinny boxer briefs. And this store has this irritating habit which I believe intentional, of putting regular prices items among sale priced on a clearance shelf. See picture. Those fans are regular priced, but clearly look to be 70%off. Legally, they call that bait n switch. One day the district attorney will investigate this store
So many things I only get at target. I love a good target run, but love the convince of drive up during the pandemic (sometimes I just need a few things).
Just love target
Anahi gave excellent service and advice, was very knowledgeable and polite!
This Target is the worst with empty, unstocked shelves almost every time.
Good products, good value, Excellent service.
They Never Answer Tha Phone.. NEVER!
Please have some more options of kpop albums and be in stock with it for all of the kpop stans:)
This place kind of....sucks. The staff isn’t all that great and pickup/drive up takes forever. The worst part is, I know someone who works there and they say that the employees don’t actually start working on your online order until the last minute and that’s why it takes so long. Such a shame considering the convenience
This place is cool where you can find and shop great products at a great price.
Target is a GREAT STORE...this location isnt on par with all the locations I have been to. There are other Target locations I prefer more than this one.
Nobody cares about covid here theres no social distancing. None of the customers knows what six feet distance looks like. They crowd around you in the long check out lines and try to squeeze pass you. I didnt see any target workers regulating lines like at the targets in sf or san bruno. Lol contra costa county is wild af. No wonder their covid rates were high. Everyones breathing on each other at this target lmao.
Pleasant Hill Target isnt usually my first choice. I much rather like going to the Walnut Creek location. This store isnt as tidy and sometimes they dont have things I want in stock. The staff can be helpful but its random. Parking isnt the greatest here either.
Target in Pleasant Hill Ca, came throug for me again! My order was ready for pickup and correct. This was alife saver, in the midst of all the issues going on right now, I was pleased that i could find what i nedded on the Target app and order it for pickup the same day!
Order pickup is at the return desk. Long wait.
Dont bother trying to call them, they wont answer. Target walnut creek answered only after a few rings at most, but this target didnt answer at all. I tried three different departments, HR toys and electronics and didnt get an answer from any of them. I needed an item that is only available at this store too.
Amazing placeStaffs are nice too.
Customer service rep was polite and professional.
This place is great
It was very convenient. I was very impressed by the experience.
Store was fully stocked for once and I was able to find everything I needed.
Our check out person was very nice!
Today I want to target store in pleasant hill, some of highly demand items were limited per household but there was no sign for baby wipes so I grab 3 packs of wipes when I was in self checkout one of their employees come and told me it’s limited one per household, I explained them that there was no sign to show limitation policy but she keep telling no you can buy only one, so finally I ask her if I can talk with manger after 10 minutes waiting in checkout manager came, so I explain her about the no sign to show about limit of baby wipes but she even didn’t try to listen to me she said no you can’t buy more then one and that is all so finally I decided to leave all time and not buy anything from that store, I am not recommending target pleasant hill for shopping
Clean store, wide aisles, no empty shelves
Your Employees were great, Im disabled, they brought the electric cart to my car door, walk with me back in. The Employee in pick-up, was very polite and greeted me when she seen me coming to pickup, and brought my bag out right away. All your Employees were very polite.
They were hella cool. I needed a receipt reprinted from a month ago and when he couldnt do it successfully, he emailed it to me from his personal account as he didnt have a target account. Needless to say I felt like this was above and beyond and I greatly appreciated it.
Their drive up service was very fast and accurate
Target always has what I need! This location is always clean and staff are super friendly. They are taking their own and our health very seriously by making sure to sanatize carts, self checkouts, etc.
Every time I go to this target I have to deal with the employees telling me oh I can’t by funko pop Cause it’s street dated. But they put it on the floor anyway because they’re lazy. Like this is not how you run a business. Don’t go to this target it’s a waste of time.
Excellent service and they all are efficient and friendly
Still clean and well taken care of, even if certain products are hard to come by at times.
The only item I wanted was a waterpik. I found the item in the store however was it was locked in the cabinet. I found someone to help me and he didnt have the key. He then went to go find someone who does have the key. In the end the key was nowhere to be found. I asked customer servicethey if had a key yet they refused to find someone who had the key. And I left for good. So disappointed. If I could give this place zero stars I would.
Because pickup was easy and hassle free.
No long lines. The items I were looking for were easy to find and purchase. All of the Staff were friendly and helpful.
Everything that I need is always available at Target for purchase. And their customer service is above and beyond.
Its so convenient to have a store like yours nearby everything I need this always in stock customer service is the best
Crowded But Friendly Knowledgable Stff
The employees are doing an awesome job trying to keep things organized, clean, and stocked.
The knowledge and courtesy of Daniel, thetecch who helped me select My cell phone. Daniel did an excellent job and I would ask for him again.
The employees at this target(Pleasant Hill) are always so nice and helpful to me and my family whenever we shop there. Which is all the time.
Very Very Very organized. Every good food item is together like all pasta stuff is with pasta. All chips and chip dippings are together. They have a great variety of food. The prices are mostly low. Target has there own food brand called Market Pantry and it is way better than the other brands. The place is usually is crowded and it might be hard to get a parking spot.
Love target, the prices are low but more savings on target circle. Just wished it was stocked better the location by my home.
The selection of merchandise and pricing is excellent. Also providing electric carts for those that need is a great touch.
Racist employees, stock is almost nonexistent or expired, ordering online they are out of half your order. This was a great store now it’s terrible. I was racially profiled, as it seems many people are. I’ve concluded as I read the comments. I hope a lawsuit is coming soon. I’d be happy to share my experience.
Pleasant Hill target is sucks.. manager also not willing to help customers. He always protects the workers. This is not the first time it happened to me. jesika is the pregnant lady is in The store is so rude and not willing to help customers. Giving me attitudes and very rude. We r came to buy something. We paid our money for that. So if u can’t respect customers. And also the cashier lady changed money for my stuff without asking me. I thought it’s free.. I asked from her.. bags are free now.. she said I’m sorry I changed... this Pleasant Hill target has very bad customer service.. bad management too..
Target staff are almost always willing to attempt to assist in whatever way they can. On this visit, Nick (who was stocking the toy section) was nice enough to find the items I wanted for me to purchase.
The service was quick, easy and efficient. I tapped the Im here button and within a few minutes my order was brought by a courteous target team member.
The racial profiling in this store is beyond ridiculous! I was followed around the hair products isle like a person who just escaped maximum security. And then the guy tried to act like he was stocking something. However, he had nothing in his hands!!! I was so fed up with his stalking that I asked if there was something I could help him with!!As a manager of many people in daily career field, I have been taught about sensitivity training toward other peoples feelings. I strongly advise they implement that practice in this store. It is utterly repulsive!
Wrong item was delivered when I picked up. They told me I need to wait a day to return. And not to mention the troubles of needing to go to the store multiple times to return, reorder and pick up again. Furthermore, I suspect the order is not going to get filled correctly again even if I reorder because I feel their employees are rather incompetent. What I ordered was a portable fan that runs on battery, instead, I received a plug in fan.
Attention TCG player or collector, DO NOT buy boosters or packs from this store. The staff allows the packs to be weighed and all heavier items (typically higher priced due to holo being worth more) are purchased leaving junk for everyone else. Pretty sure its a TARGET staff member who does this. LODs dont understand this and never will.
As I was going through self checkout with my family, a cashier adjacent to the self checkout lane approached only me and my family and asked if I had 15 items or less for checkout. I clearly read the sign and understood that request, but am baffled as to why he felt the need to question me. I only had 10 items in my cart by the way.
Guest services employees always quick, efficient, and courteous. Mostly am unable to find any employees in various departments to help me and ansewer questions.
This target is the closest to me and was my favorite Target store. My friends and I are very disappointed in the new layout since the remodel. The womens department is huge and chaotic and is overly stuffed with the most random clothing. It is hard to tell where the juniors section and womens sections begin and end. There is no order and much less space. The mens department is easily half as big as it was before the remodel. The housewares section of the store is okay. It is easy to find what you are looking for but it really did not change except for the location in the store. The overall feel is junky. Sadly, it feels smaller, darker and is not inviting.
I shop here a lot, but tonight my 2yr old son dumped milk all over the floor and the items in my cart. I felt so bad, but the cashier and two other employees were so helpful and nice about it! The cashier wiped milk off items as she rang them up, another gave my son a sheet of stickers longer than he is tall, and another cleaned up the milk on the floor. They we SOOO nice about all of it. It was a rough shopping trip with a toddler, but they really made it as good as it could be. Shout out to these peeps!
Target is the store that most regularly has staff that place high priority on assisting customers with questions. On this visit, Jeffery was helpful and courteous in assisting with my request.
Nice position relative to the free way. It is the first building when taking the Concord Ave exit when coming from the Martinez direction. It has a lot of the standard target stuff and the popcorn that many people love. The parking is normally difficult when striving to park close. However, there is adequate handicap parking. They are very efficient when it comes to exchanges and refunds.
Awesome Target to go to. Parking isnt that great (I had to park in front of Ross) but its a large store with more variety than most of the others. This one will be my new go to Target.
Same good selection, but all rearranged.Helpful hint: the fitting rooms are now located front and center, not on the back wall as they have been for years. Unfortunately, with the only signage facing the front of the store; by the time I realized I needed directions to the dressing room, I could not see a sign (or an associate -- I ended up lugging an armful of bras all the way to electronics to ask for directions! Ugh.)Suggestion for the store personnel: it would be very helpful in preventing another customer from the same negative experience i had if you could place signage on the big box the dressing rooms are in, facing the wall where they used to be. So customers who go to the old spot can turn around in confusion, only to see the sign and have an aha! moment.
Employee Chris was amazing and very helpful drastically exceeded my expectations of customer service dealing with multiple customers at once and making them all happy
This Target is massive. Surprisingly enough it was out of stock of a lot of the food items. It has upstairs and downstairs, a Starbucks, and loads of cash registers.
My favorite neighborhood Target store. I come here for any and all items I need. Great staff and well stocked store. Love coming again and again!
The people that used to buy clothes for Target must be gone. They always had cute clothes for women but today I felt shopping at Walmart! Depressing :(
Every time I go in there the shelves are not stocked we went in to get something off a registry and nothing was in stock out of 7 pages very sad. 4 pages of out of stock to start with. Also in the grocery dept I had 4 things to get only one was in stockAs usual shelves were empty all over I hate shopping there Im going to go to the walnut creek store.
Fast and easy service, everything I needed was in stock. Picked up in store and walked out. Fastest shopping trip ever!
The Target in Concord can be one of the messier Targets around. The customer service can be a hit or miss. Parking can be a little bit of a hassle but overall it is an acceptable establishment that has things that i need. Close to in-n-out and the mall so cant complain too much.
I used to live in Oakley so I am a little jaded here. This store is currently under construction but its big with a great selection and the staff is eager to help you find your way around. I am a target fan so nothing would stop me from going its the closest besides the one in Walnut Creek.
I walked in to Shop. I had to use restroom first. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. Overflowing garbage in stalls, hair all over floor and toilet seat.I went straight back out of the store, then noticing how dirty and unorganized the store shelves were, floor, carpet leading into store, and outside garbage cans, again overflowing. I used to shop here, but I cant imagine buying groceries/food, Starbucks, anything here. It is filthy.
I had an employee ignore me and go hide so he could get out of helping me get two bottles of juice. I am disabled and could not help myself.
This Target is a Joke, I avoided all the time till today, my kids got gift cards from target, so they didnt accept them to pay for the Xbox cards ....theyre so full of it. DONT EVEN BOTHER COMING HERE is empty and a mess anyway.
Convenience! I go out of my way to shop at target because I don’t have to go in. I have a new baby and four other kids, drive up service is a lifesaver!
I can always find what I want. Love being able to do my grocery shopping there also. Everything in one store, great
One of the nicer Target stores Ive been to, and its been consistently good since Ive grown up in this area. A few rude/strange staff over the years, but most are friendly and very helpful. They often have team meetings out on the floors to keep up on things, but dont ignore you when you walk by.
Good place. Very happy
The service and ease of the online store combined with in store pickup was fantasticI will definitely be doing this again
The guy was soo helpful at first he couldn’t find the item then he came back and told me don’t worry I’m not letting you leave here till I find it and he did ! Thanks for the fast customers service
Good selection and prices. There always seems to be available staff to answer questions. Lately, products are low in stock on shelves and things have been untidy which is why I didnt rate a 10.
Ive learned my leason not to trust Targets online shopping. Many times Ive tried searching certain items that states they have them in store. Only to later find out that they dont once Im there. Ive always had great experiences with Walmart and Costco so I dont understand why they always have a problem. Today I decided I would give them another chance by ordering items online for instore pick up. My nephew picked up the items and when I recieve them the items were wrong. I called in to the store to let them know and to reconfirm they have what I was looking for. I was advised that they did not. Something is not accurate with their online shopping and its false information for us customers.
I love Target! I am frequently there, at least 2-3 times a week. Store is kept relatively clean for the size and I can always find someone for help when I need it.
Target always has everything I need when I need it. Store can be kinda messy at times and it can be hard to find someone to help you. But overall, not bad for such a large store.
Fully stocked department store with various sundry items, clean, well lit, lots of checkers, good prices and open until midnight except for Sunday (closes at 11 p.m.). The clothing is much better quality than Wal*Mart and no phony sale prices like Kohls. Look for special red price change tags on items - and sometimes the price is even lower when the item is scanned at the register. Good return policy, but the line can be slow during peak times. I have never had trouble finding trouble finding parking in the very full lot, and I have been shopping there since it was GEMCO. The food court is decent for a light lunch, snack or beverage and the prices are decent too.
Clerk was wonderful, cheerful and seemed to be happy with his job.
Who doesnt love target?! I come in here all the time for one or two things and leave with 10. Its only to be expected. They have a nice clean store and lots of friendly people available to help me.
Smaller than the one in Walnut Creek, but the store is well stocked and the staff are friendly.
Lots of things at target.Well known store
