As a new sailing girl, I was in need of products to maintain my boat and make some simple upgrades. The staff was honest, helpful and encouraging. Their knowledge made my project simple and accurate, that gave me confidence in the store and my skills.

Needed a certain product and I called ahead because I would be arriving at...you guessed it...closing. The gal on the phone was accommodating, checked the and had it waiting upon my arrival. When I got there I was surprised to find the clerk, Brittany, whom had just been displaced from Hobbytown where I originally encountered her above average stellar customer service skills!

Enjoyed shopping here for stuff I needed, and didnt need, for my boat. Alas, they are closing this particular store because they lost their lease. The Pittsburg store remains open, and the guy I talked to who works there said WM would probably open a shop in or around Concord. Currently having a Going Out Of Business sale and the end date is coming up, although he could be exact as to when their official last day is. Bummer...

WOW....Talk about a poorly run store, I cannot explain to you the level of stupidity with these people working there. I have a simple 2001 ski boat with a 350 efi engine. Probably one of the most common engines for ski boats EVER and they could not figure out my spark plug type/size, spark plug wire type, water impeller and my drive belt... All I gotta say is find another place or do the ordering online. After 45 minutes of them guessing and tentatively ordering me the parts they asked me to pay for it before it was there... I said your kidding, I am not paying for something that is a complete guess. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE... if you need a life jacket, bumper or cleaner go to amazon. WEST MARINE officially sucks to me now. Too bad being its the only shop for boaters. GOOD LUCK

Great customer service. Took care of a return without invasive questions. Great advice regarding paints and varnishes.

Clean store with a good amount of marine goods. A bit too pricey here! Customer service is okay I suppose.

Closing at least 7 minutes before your posted time and having customers still in the store will not earn you a repeat visit from me. Especially when your employees saw me and refused to acknowledge.

Love this place. Great range and usually competitive with the internet for smaller items.

Friendly staff and convenient location right off a main road in town. These stores have a wide variety of marine supplies. I reccomend buying a BoatUS membership for you vessel. Its like the automobile club for boats. It really is a no brainer if you own and use a vessel anywhere.
