The services was fine, but they are basically just like Jiffy Lube. They’ll try to talk you into paying more than you need to for all the extras.He tried to tell me that I needed a new cabin air filter even though it looked fine and I knew I had just replaced it on my last oil change.Then he tried to tell me that I should change the transmission fluid every 25,000 miles. It’s an automatic 2015 Honda. Try closer to 100,000 miles maybe.Then he tried to tell me I should pay for the fuel system cleaner and I was just done listening by then.They do fine work I’m sure, but I just hate getting the sales pitch every time I go for an oil change. I’d recommend Lube Doc in Orem over this place.

I have been satisfied with my service at Grease Monkey in PG over the years, mostly for oil changes and routine maintenance. The employees seem competent and honest.

I love this location! The facility is always nice, clean and comfortable. They are respectful and very professional. They are great at answering questions you have an explaining things to you. It is worth the few extra dollars to get your oil changes and other maintenance done at grease monkey. Especially this pleasant grove location.

I brought my car here once, and liked their service, it was quick and they charged me reasonably. At the time I brought my own oil as I prefer using higher grade oils than most shops cary.The second time I brought my car in it was an Audi, instead of a Ford, I had the exact same service done, same amount of oil, same amount of time and they charged me more than twice as much as the last time I went, excusing it as Its a European car so we have to remove the skid plate If yourre not familiar with cars almost all modern cars have these, even a $14k Chevy spark.Now that I know theyre going to charge me 50 percent more on everything as a luxury tax I know exactly where not to take my business.

I provided a poor rating because the twice this week I took my girlfriend car there ( who is a long time customer). The car was idling wrong. Ask then to change fuel pump and see if it fixes the ideal. If I didnt I told them to fix it or. They threw a new fuel pump in and shoved me out the door and car still wasnt fixed. I drove to auto zone spent a little over $100 for 6 spark plugs and wires changed 3 myself with the help of a AAA tow truck drive. Car still idling rough. Towed the car back to grease monkey in pleasant Grove. Left the parts in car to be changed and left car at grease monkey all day the next day just to me charged $160.00 to our parts in that I purchased and guess what....car still idling incorret. So took it to the mechanic at grease monkey in Lehi. He spent less the 30 mins on my car and fixed it. So after spending 365.00 and getting ripped off my grease monkey on pleasant grove for 165.00 of that. To put on parts I bought I am now short for rent and pleasant Grove grease monkey just lost a customer. Oh and by the way grease monkey in Lehi doesnt charge to do diagnostic even if the car is there all day and even agree being charged $165.00 to put in parts I bought was a a rip off. DO NOT GO TO THIS GREASE MONKEY....THEY RIP YOU OFF AND DONT DO WHAT THEY ARE TOLD TO DO...GO TO LEHI GREASE MONKEY

I love this place. They go out of their way to take care of you. Never feel pressured into anything. Weve been going here so long if they suggest something we feel totally confident that they have our best interests in mind. Plus the kids love the drinks and popcorn.

Great customer service! I went in to have my brakes checked and they told me the front brakes needed to be replaced. I told them I wanted the transmission and coolant flushed too. Rather than just going ahead and doing it they explained that it may not be the best thing to completely flush the transmission fluid because my vehicle has high mileage and it could cause slipping. So I just told them to drain it and refill. I went home to wait and they called and said the transmission fluid and coolant look like new and did not need to be replaced. I appreciate the honesty of the people who work there. Thank you!

Quick service for my emissions test.

I got my breaks serviced here. They replaced my rotors, break pads and one caliper. I had to bring it back the first time because the caliper they replaced wasnt properly secured and it was constantly rubbing.I brought it back. They said they secured the caliper.I took my truck home only to hear a constant rattling noise when I wasnt breaking. I had to drive back a second time for them to fix it again.I have never had to take a vehicle to a mechanic shop 3 times for a simple break and rotor replacement.10/10 will never go back.

Every member of the Grease Monkey crew was polite, friendly and helpful. They were not intimidated by my unusual vehicle (a short bus) and went above and beyond to offer helpful suggestions and recommendations for my little rig. I wish I could give them 6 stars!

Met Up with my wife there. Good thing I did, they tried to up sell here on unneeded fluid changes. Overfilled my brand new Tahoe by almost a full quart. Didn’t lube any zerks.Do yourself a favor and go to the one in highland. They pretty much treat you like family. They actually know how to do their job without up selling you.

I have been getting my trucks and cars serviced here since they first opened. Have always done and excellent service with others double checking the work. They are only interested in the customer and making sure the vehicles are safe to drive. Staci and Jeff have been with the company many years and are great people. Fast, friendly, and very efficient. When I brought my new Ford I had free service at the dealer, but because of the great service I get at Grease Monkey I chose to keep going here. Love it

Took my 1989 Ford truck in for an oil change and emissions test. They did not try to upsell me on anything or pressure me into any fixes. It’s an old truck so we’re not investing more money into it. I got to eat popcorn and drink a soda while I waited. They vacuumed my truck, they were quick and efficient. I would recommend them to a friend.

Just stopped into this shop today as I was passing through and my car was making a strange noise. Im always nervous taking my car in for anything because I have no idea about cars so it probably wouldnt be too hard to pull one over on me. So I was very pleased when the manager told me that it was a very simple fix and charged me probably less than he could have. Its so nice to find places that you can trust!

After five years of taking my cars here I have decided to leave this location due to how Nicholas and Charlie treat customers. Laughing at me because I was upset about misinformation and their lack of sympathy for the situation. The main mechanic Jeff is nice and sympathetic but the other two are rude and do not treat people well nor do they explain the information needed to follow through with procedures.

Im a 21 year old female college student, and so car stuff is usually just a To Do list thing, but today was different. The people there were not only efficient and clean, but exceptionally polite and charming. They told me what I needed to know, gave me the coupon I brought, and got me out faster than they predicted when I first came in. PG Grease Monkey you can have my business, great staff. - Especially the women and men out in the shop, they deserve a job well done.

I went here to get my emissions test completed. By the time I walked inside and made a cup of hot chocolate the mechanic was handing me the keys and telling me I was all set. To say they are fast is an understatement. They would give Superman a run for his money.

But I called and they gave me the best price and wait time. They said I would be about an hour and I was 45 minutes for an oil change and emissions test. They were so kind and instead of selling me on more things to buy, they helped me make the best choice for my car! This is the best place to get work done on your car! Been taking my cars there for a year. The first few times, everything was great. No complaints. Then I took my wifes car there and the brakes immediately started squeaking. Could be a coincidence. Took my car there a different time and they mentioned i did nt have a cabin air filter. I replaced it at home. 4 months later to today. I took my car in and they reported that my cabin air filter was completely gone and recommended i get a new one from them. Then I go home and my car, which has NEVER leaked oil, suddenly starts leaking oil. Im not saying they messed with my cars intentionally but 3 coincidences is too many for me. If they are not doing this in bad faith then they are causing problems through gaps in their processes, staff training, etc. Hate to say it but Ive never had these problems with Jiffy Lube. I would love to change this review in the future but for now, I wont take my cars there.

I recently had my oil changed and the manager helped me and seemed helpful and knowledgeable we spoke for about 10 minutes. I use to go to a different location in Draper because the manager didn’t require me to bring a coupon and gave me 25% off any service I do. I’ve done many oil changes and the serpentine belt etc. This location you MUST have their specific locations coupons which sucks because I want to feel valued and not nickel and dime’d especially when I want to come to this location now. Anyways, I did my safety and emissions and brought my $5 off coupon and felt I got really good prompt service and the female wearing the red shirt was pleasant and well spoken that day. I’ll do my best to come here if I can continue to find their specific coupons.

Asked if I wanted my filter replaced, I said I do it myself. For whoever reason 5 tree nuts were sitting on top of the filter (must be a mouse or something), I assumed he would brush them off before putting it back in but he didn’t. This dropped 3 nuts into my system, causing me more problems. At least I got to keep two of them

Hidden fee. Emissions are $35 plus an $8 sticker fee that wasnt told to me ahead of time in order to complete an on the spot renewal. Probably on par for getting a straight quote out of any auto shop, even for a straightforward service like this.

Jeff and the crew are always friendly and do their best to get the work done as quickly as possible. Just the other day I went i there for an oil change and before I could drink my free drink and eat my free popcorn, they had my vehicle done. Speedy service! If they are swamped, and often they are due to the volume of business that they do, they will tell me an estimated time frame, and it may be an hour, but that is because they are swamped. And it is an estimate, not a guarantee. Its my choice to stay or go. And often they are done before that time frame, and sometimes they are not. Things happen. They always advise me of things that could be done to my vehicles and I appreciate that. It is not a pressure sale, just making me informed and it is up to me if I want to have the service done. I have my own mechanic who works on my cars, but I like knowing what is bad or is on the way out so I can prepare for it. Good group of people.. I drive by several Oil Change facilities from my home in West Lehi to patron Grease Monkey PG. Keep up the good work!

I have taken all of my cars to Grease Monkey for state emissions and safety testing. Jeff is very thorough and answers any questions I have. He explained how the emissions system on my BMW worked. He is a cool guy. I do all of my own maintenance but when I need something else I know I can go there and get professional help. I have always had good customer service at this Grease Monkey.

I always go to Grease Monkey for my oil changes and safety/emissions testing. They have a friendly staff that quickly attend to each customer. The waiting area is clean and the complimentary popcorn/coffee/soda is a nice gesture.This last go around, there was a bit of a complication with payment since they had accidentally charged the customer before me with my bill. There was a series of can you pay for his this, and hell pay for your that. that occurred. I was happy to oblige, but it was not the most convenient or professional. The customer before me ended up with the short end of the stick, walking out with a good chunk of his money in car wash credit; something he was alright with, but that I could see upsetting lots of other individuals.Generally, great service and a great experience. Despite the mishap last time, I plan on going in the future.

They always take good care of my car. Ive been taking my cars there for years, my mom and sister also take their cars to this location. Not only are they honest, but they also leave my car cleaner than when I brought it in and they show me anything that may need to be replaced and let me decide if I want to replace it or not. They were completely dishonest and claimed to change my oil given that it was already full. My gauge had not processed that my brother had just finished changing the oil elsewhere a few days before, and the mechanics at Grease Monkey pretended to redo it and charged me for it.

Great service at a fair price

Over-priced. They hope to get you when youre in a hurry and are willing to pay more for the basic oil change you came in for. My advice is to do your best to plan ahead of time and find a local mechanic to do your oil change for a lot less, otherwise this place and others like it will get you.

Not a good experience for me but it was situational. I have a motorcycle and they were not able to accommodate. If you have a car and need an oil change I’m sure they would do just fine.

This place always treats us right and they come in to show off your air filter or other parts to ask if you wanted new ones but they are always honest if it needs it or not. Gotta respect the upsell though and the honesty.

Go to AF grease monkey much better costumer service at American fork grease monkey. They didnt pass me for safety and when I went to a different place they said that was just fine and didnt need to be replace to pass safety. AF is a much better grease monkey to go to.

Not only is the service great and the technicians very knowledgeable, but their prices are very competitive and are often better than locally owned businesses. Went in here for the first time today for IM/SI and got new tags on the spot as well. I spent my wait time watching this shop, how they work, ect. I think they were doing a great job on my vehicle and the other cars too. I used to be in an industry like this. I know what should and should not take place. These guys are running a nice clean shop. I didnt see anything out of line. The inspection was comprehensive and fair. I was shown some items that will eventually need to be replaced without any hard selling. Everyone was polite and professional. I will come back.

Great place for safety and emissions. They get you in and out promptly and provide free fountain drinks and popcorn which helps keep the kids occupied while waiting.

I hate to be blunt but I have to this time. Ive been here a handful of times and theyve lied to me about things that are a safety hazard when Ive had those things done at other mechanics. Thats how I know they were lying. Every time theyve said theyve topped off my windshield fluid but it was completely empty still every time. I finally confronted them and they said there was a leak and I asked, how come I wasnt notified of this? Then the mechanic kind of mumbled a lie and made something else up and said, have a good day sir, then walked away. This was my final stop to this station. I strongly suggest you go somewhere else when there are problems under your hood. Ive had a few ok technicians but most of the time the customer service isnt very friendly either. Im not happy with the job and that they tried to rip me off. I hate to post negatively but it had to be done because theyve lied to me and tried to rip me off multiple times. Seriously go somewhere else.

I try really hard not to go to places like Jiffy Lube, the places where you go and they come in and tell you all the other things you should buy since you are getting your oil changed. Most of the time the items dont really need to be changed...and the items are usually marked up quite high. Grease Monkey is a lot like that. Plus when I pulled up I parked so I could walk in and talk to someone about what I needed. When I got out of my car a service technician approached me and asked me what I needed. When I told him an oil change he seemed so annoyed when he told me I had to pull around to the garages he acted like I should have known that.I thought it interesting that he was so annoyed by my mistake. The rest of visit was fine. Then I got in the car. My oil change sticker said to return in 3,000 miles. My car is a 2013 and has must use synthetic oil. I dont have to do oil changes except every 5, 000 miles and I mostly drive freeway. It just made me feel like they were trying to take advantage, perhaps hoping I wouldnt know what my oil change interval should be.It wasnt a terrible experience but I wont be going back. I have others I trust more, I will just have to travel a bit further to get to them.---10/2017After my last visit I was contacted by the manager who listened to my concerns and invited me to return. I appreciated his time and so when I needed another oil change I figured what the heck lets give them another shot.Same thing happened when I pulled my car up to the front. I was told to park at the bay doors. He wasnt as annoyed but it is still awkward. If you want people to just park at the bay doors maybe they should direct people there first. This isnt really isnt a big deal just odd.The manager had told me that they were working on setting oil changes to 5,000 miles but told me I should ask for a 5,000 sticker. I wasnt there when they finished so I forgot to ask, my sticker was set for a change in 3000 miles.The service is fast and in general everyone is nice and effecient. For that Ill raise this from 3 to 4 stars.....

Came in for an oil change thinking the service light demanded it. Didnt get told until after I left that was a light not associated with the oil change. Would have been nice to know that before the service was done and charged.

Brought my car in after an oil light turned on - they were super kind, checked out the car, ran the codes, and helped me call my repair shop. No charge - just great service and a smile. I was so thankful for their help - way to go, guys!

Sketchy. The manager told me that it would be a good idea to change my brakes. I was confused because my brakes were still in great condition and had a ways to go. When i questioned him, he came up with some road safety department quote as, what seemed to me, a method of persuasion. They also put down my mileage to return for an oil change about 2-3 thousand miles too short.

These guys saved my life, and Im not saying that lightly. I had had safety and emissions done at a different car shop, and somehow they had failed to tighten the lug nuts on my front tire. I was in the area, and in emergency pulled over. These guys checked out my car and tightened the bolts, which had loosened so much that my whole car was shaking with the tire coming off. Coincidence I was by them? They have my service and respect now.

Quick, the technicians tell you how things are looking and what recommended services are required. Will pull your air filter so you can see what it looks like and decide if it needs to be changed.

If it were possible to give 0 stars I would. The person who changed my oil was very lazy and ruined my car. I never had a problem with my oil leaking until after I got an oil change from them. I literally go through atleast a bottle a week. Dont waste your time or money. Find someone who actually cares about the quality of their work.
