Great staff they treat you like family not just a customer. I never imagined that I could get a home this nice for the price i payed. If you are looking for a home I would suggest you speak with troy she made this whole process stress free for me and my family. Take it from me dont waste your time going anywhere else they are the best around
Everything and everyone was fantastic until our home arrived on our property. It was delayed being put together for weeks. When it was put together the window was left opened and it rained a whole week before it was closed. It arrived unlivable. Piping was built incorrect, our doors are falling off the wall, the gfi outlets were wired backwards. It took months getting this fixed. Yes that’s a manufacture issue but Plant City Housing was playing the blame game. Their lack of communication was part of the issue. They tried to get us to close on a home that had no electricity, no water, no septic and no C.O. I called the supervisor of the building department for our county and they said “absolutely not”, you cannot close on a home or building of any sort without a C.O. Once most was finished and all was checked approved with our county, we closed, they received our funding for our mortgage. This is our major problem: from the beginning they hid a dollar amount in our mortgage that could help pay for septic, well, permits etc. Once we closed they could pay for invoices and whatever was not used we would be given back through Plant City Housing. They came back with a balance due sheet saying we owe them interest fee for not closing on time. We pushed to close ASAP, first of all, we could not live in our home even if we wanted to- it was hazardous. Our home was not in our name too. Secondly, when I asked for documentation showing where we owe almost $3000 in interest fees - the numbers did NOT add up correctly. AND they started “charging” before it was on our property. Not one thing for this expense was on our documents we signed, we were notified of it, nothing on our sales contracts, or closing documents. After standing firm for a month, they are not going to charge us interest or any other fees. The owner has not once returned my phone calls, only some emails. The general manager is incredibly unprofessional, defensive borderline aggressive over the phone when there is an issue, disrespectful, no customer service or any understanding of issues. Dealing with this for more than a year has been an absolute nightmare. I have all correspondences and have documented every single thing just incase we have to take further legal action. Being law enforcement, you’d think they’d know we’d go through everything with a fine-toothed comb. We have been very nice and respectful to them, understanding about manufacturing issues and we have been patient and compliant with everything they have said and done. However, we have had to protect ourselves from them unfortunately. I would be extremely apprehensive with this company.
Very helpful, great prices. Kind, curtious and answers all questions
Good selection of homes and very helpful staff will guide you through the buying process
The State of Florida is doing the citizens a disservice. This outfit including Ron Allen and Sandy (his wife) are not worthy of having a business license. They will cheat and steal from you. They will not represent the product correctly nor will they tell you how many steps youll have to take to get a home setup. These steps will add up and become very expensive for you rather quickly. They will honey talk you to death and tell you we are your neighbors and are hear to service you.You buy from these people you will be sorry in one way or the other. To top things off the installer is their son who happens to be the better of the three. However, Ron will get in your face and basically threaten you if he feels the deal is falling through. Please believe me and stay away from these people. They should not be in business if the State was doing there job with licenses. The filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau are only the tip of the iceberg. BEWARE!
We were approved to buy a home and put the home on our land that we owned free and clear. The first meeting they stated that all we needed to put down was a $2000 deposit and that was it even though with our credit and owning our land we were approved for 0 down with the mortgage company. The day we went in to discuss the home options, pick the colors and to sign our purchase agreement, the GM Paul became frustrated answering our questions and finalizing the details of what we wanted in the home. He then stated out of the blue that on top of the $2000 deposit that we would need to sign a QUITCLAIM DEED of our property over to Plant City Housing, WHAT? I never heard of such shady practice and I have purchased modular homes in the past and never once did they request for us to sign our property over to them.We left and I called numerous of other mobile home dealers and they also stated that they have never heard of any dealer requesting anyone to sign their property over to them by signing a quitclaim deed. Beware buyers and dont waste your time or lose your property to such skeptical tatics!
Best prices around on a manufactured home I just recommend getting your financing elsewhere!
Friendly staff,good prices,quality products
Horrible customer service & RUDE management. 10/10 would not recommend these uneducated people to buy any type of product from. If you have any questions at all about a property or house, they won’t know the answer so hopefully you already know them all when you walk in!
Do not buy from this company, they tell you what you want to hear and once they get your money its over. They never show up to fix anything after the final walk thru. I started my process in May, here it is January and Im fixing things myself. They will tell you its the manufacturer responsibility, manufacture says its the plant city housing responsibility. A lot of things didnt happen the way they tell you that its going to happen. Very unprofessional!
Wonderful food and cheap prices. Large variety if eats and treats. Kids love it.
I wanna thank Ron and his wife Sandy for the service in helping me aquire a fantastic deal on a manufactured home. Cant wait till it gets here. M.Kelly
Troy was wonderful to work with. She was patient and helpful throughout our experience. We had lots of questions and she got us through them all. When she had to consult someone else to get an answer, we always heard back from her within 2 days, at most. I picked a house I liked and then, after running it through the lender I already had pre-approval with, realized that I wouldnt be able to afford it (because of the loan type, fees, etc.). Troy referred me to a different lender and also started from scratch working with me on a house with a lower budget. The new lender was able to get me a much better program and, although that made the plan B house even MORE affordable, I was able to get into the original house I wanted, with all my upgrades, for the budget I originally planned. If not for Troy, I would still have had a nice house, but not the one I truly wanted.Plant City Housing, LLC carries models from Skyline, Champion, Scotbilt, and Live Oak. Sure, you can find homeowners who have had good and bad experiences with every one of those manufacturers. *This is not a review about manufacturers.* So, I can only say that, no matter what your budget is, this dealer has something that will work for you. As a dealer, PCHLLC believes in all the homes they build and do a great job working with the customer.
Bob is an honest salesman with the knowledge to sell manufactured homes. More so than some close competitors. Glad I stopped there.
Great customer services. Great explanation.
