Great service. Called and spoke with Kyle and he handled the order like things should be done.Everyone there was attentive and solid.

What a pain to deal with. I tried to return a new, never used (and in perfect shape) pocket door frame. They won’t take it back despite the guy on the phone initially telling me they would. Also, they won’t give me product information that I paid for through my contractor (who has since been terminated). Sure he technically made the order. But I paid him, I have the receipt, and I have a few very basic items I didn’t use. Why have such unnecessary and unhelpful return policies and be so protective of items that are in MY house? It’s annoying and bizarre and makes me only want to get the rest of our stuff at Home Depot and Lowe’s where they actually work with customers.

Everyone is so kind and helpful! I have a friend whos doing a project for our American Heritage Girls troop and she needed some lumber for said project and they gave her a large amount of wood for FREE to help her in her special project!! Thats amazing!! Definitely recommend!

Big place! Dont be intimidated by all the big trucks and large stacks of lumber. Once inside very personal service by Cole. Walked us around and found the exact paneling we were looking for even though only a small 5 sheet project. Paneling was pristine a d not picked over like other stores. Cole even loaded our order on top our Escape. We still had to tie it down of course but wouldnt have had it put on vehicle at one of the big box stores. Thanks Cole for the great customer service!

I called ahead to check on lumber availability and was told they were stocked on what I needed. After I drove to the store, they told me what I needed were out of stock. No other explanation. The only reason that I still give them 2 stars is because of the good products they offer.

After 35 years buying from 84 lumber. I am shocked and very disappointed at the service and price at plant city location. How can lowes home improvement stores price per board be less 5-6 dollars less. Good luck

Drove an hour to pick up a door frame as this was the only location to have it. Ended up a worker named Nelson was super professional and personable in helping. Great customer service and he made it worth the drive! Highly recommend if everyone working here is just like him!!

First time I had been there,an it was very professional an all the people there were great inside an out.rhw guys on the machines were really hustling an it was hot as all get up .operated states they short help an no one wants to work in FLA.hw got the job done it was the older gentleman,he got my list in a hurry an had it bundled an strapped an it never moved going back to seffner.i was hating I didnt have any cash I was gonna give him a tip.But when I get some cash Ill drive all the way there to rip him,didnt get his name but yall should be proud and appreciate hard worker like him, signed Steve D Patterson

This location they dont treat drivers with any respect, the guy in the receiving office and this skinny white forklift operator they dont know how to communicate or talk to ppl like human beans.

This place sucks goto Lowe’s it’s easier quicker and cheaper the workers there are lazy

My Husband and I are building a home, we had to deal with several companies and contractors, and I have to say that, Ryan Simmons with 84 Lumber- Plant City, went out of his way for us. From meeting with us on Saturdays to making sure everything our window, doors, base trim and hardware where installed properly. I highly recommend you ask for him at 84 Lumber in Plant City.

So the more I think about this the madder I get, and apparently this isnt an isolated incident we recently went to a lumber yard in Plant City looking for something simple, one sales associate was assisting another customer while the other looked at both of us and clearly went out of his way to look busy to the point of being clumsy, when another customer walked up to him and asked him a question he quickly offered his assistance, when the customer pointed out that he could help us the sales associate said rather rudely clearly you were here first even though he was not and even stated so the sales associate even left after waiting on said customer. This business has a history of being rude to customers out of their norm such as older customers, LGBT, non-good ole boy this states with management down to sales people I will from this day forward avoid and tell others as well to avoid 84 lumber in Plant City

Terrible unloading experience will not haul freight for this location again.

I dont know what 84 Lumber teaches their employees about customer service but it is definitely not what their mission and vision state. I was approached by an employee on a forklift 1 minute from closing time whos greeting to me was an accusation of stealing. He further went on to say I needed to leave the premises and was adamant about not answering a simple question. As I vacated the premises, I stopped my vehicle and opened the trunk to assure him I had not stolen anything only for him to to say he didnt need to see anything as the cameras had caught everything on tape. I would certainly like to speak to someone to clear up any confusion, my hope is that the employee was having a bad day.

First time and last .To start they would not take a credit card over the phone then forgot part of the order when delivered.Brought wrong 2x6s .they were treated with blue for termites.when called was told that they didnt have enough of of what we ordered so sent 12 of them instead.My contractor said no good and wanted what he ordered and was told he had to pay for them first and return the others and pick up new ones.Pretty sad I had to be the one to fix there mistake especially since I had to pay for delivery .Will NEVER USE AGAIN and will discourage anyone else to use.Their mistake has cost gas,time and a setback on the completion of the job.

Just want to clear up a few things that I have read. We at 84 Lumber got in before we were to open to load as many customers up as possible on Friday. We were still loading after 6pm on Friday. We appreciate and care about all our customers but please understand that we also have families that we need to protect and give our employees time to evacuate if needed. We couldnt open to the public on Saturday as we had to secure the entire lumber yard so we didnt have projectiles flying around endangering others. We apologize if you were unable to get in but please know it is not because we dont care about others. Also we let every customer that was waiting at the gate this morning in and sold them plywood because we do care about others. We had several compliments yesterday and this morning about the employees at our location.

I am beyond pleased with the customer service given by Joel. I purchased all new doors for a remodel and despite some issues Joel went above and beyond to make everything right. 84 lumber was cheaper than other local door builders too. Completely satisfied with my door buying experience.

I bought a new home through Meritage homes and had some issues with quality. I contacted 84 lumber to have all issues resolved May 24th 2018. they have come out 3 times since then with the wrong casings and the one time they had the correct stuff but didnt have enough. Each day they come out I have to take off work and leaves me without pay for all 4 of those days. (Update) 84 lumber has now resolved all of my issues So I upgraded them from one star to 3 stars

They had staff, tons of plywood, and police guards during the Saturday morning before hurricane Irma (after the storm moved west overnight) and would not sell to the public. They abandoned their community during their time of need. I saw hundreds of trucks of people wanting to buy plywood turned away with no explanation. I wish I could give negative stars - avoid this selfish company. They would rather their lumber be projectiles in a storage yard than sell it to a community that needs it to protect themselves.

My husband and I are building a home, I have called several times looking for a material bid and even emailed our house plans months ago. I called today since we are getting closer to needing it, and the employee on the phone was completely useless and rude. Said he was too busy and offered me a persons name and number to do the takeoff. Why would I pay for someone to do what they should be doing for me? Thankfully, there are other vendors to use, but even if there werent, Id pay more not to deal with their poor customer service.

Upon arrival this morning, it was told to me that you can only receive Lumber if you know somebody on the inside.What kind of establishment is this! A catastrophic hurricane approaching and they are sitting on a ton of lumber.Shame on you 84 Lumber.
