Honest estimates, great service and fair pricing.About 6 months ago the dealership told us that my wifes vehicle needed brakes (we have the oil change service contract with the dealership). We took the vehicle to Universal to get a quote because a friend recommended them. Derek told us that we didnt need brakes yet and gave us quote that was almost $200 less than the dealership quote. When the vehicle actually needed brakes we took it back to Universal and they did a great job - quality parts, good communication, and the vehicle was ready when promised. When we dropped the vehicle off we asked for a quote on other services the dealership recommended. Derek inspected the vehicle and told us that they were not needed yet. Its nice to have a honest mechanic that only does the work needed. We will be bringing our vehicles to Universal from now on and recommend them to friends and family.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Amazing, honest work done at a more than fair price. Good, honest mechanics are so hard to find but if youre looking for one, look no further. I have an older car and have had issues, anytime Ive brought it here it was looked at quickly, diagnosed quickly, and I was called back with a truthful, fairly priced response. I never thought I would find a mechanic that I actually liked or would recommend to others. But they are great and I would recommend them to anyone!

I was told a ridiculous price for doing a timing belt they told me 17 hours I called another place in town they said it was a five and a half hour job.

William and the crew were AWESOME!On my way to pick up some furniture in plant city (we are from Orlando and about 1.5 hour drive) and the valve stem cracked. I called and they literally got us in extremely quick. Repare took 15 min and we were in and out. Just in time to pick up the kid from school just in time.Can’t thank you guys enough. You guys are amazing!!!!

I took my car in because it was near my home. I had an intermittent problem. Was told a smoke machine was on order & would locate the issue, when the machine came in. Was told to call Wednesday or Thursday to see if the machine had come in. When I called, the owner was rude to me & hung up. I have never been treated so unprofessional. I read all these great reviews of how the owner was professional & treated everyone great, well, that was NOT my experience. It was extremely upsetting the way I was treated. Dont know what I did to deserve this treatment? I would NOT Recommend this business to anyone & have told a few people already, what my experience was.

Took my F250 to these guys for an oil change and could not have been happier with the service. Best prices in town 70 bucks for a diesel oil change cant be beat. Best part was I didnt get the hard sell like the typical shops try. Go see Derek, you wont be disappointed.

Extremely professional and GREAT quality work!I stopped here after getting off of I4 with a blown tire. I later realized they closed at 3 (I got there at 3:45). The owner gladly priced me a new set of 4 tires (which are top notch and affordable) and got them on and balanced in a matter of 30 minutes. Absolutely will not go anywhere else for service again!! I’m going back later this week to get an alignment, which btw is only $60 for those of you who need an alignment! 100% recommend. I would give 10 stars if I could!

Definition of professionalism! Had no AC so I called up and Derek got me right in! Problem was diagnosed and explained in detail, as well as the accurate quote of services to repair my AC. Work was finished in an hour, and when I picked up my truck, he fixed other problems that I wasnt expecting. My check engine light had been on for a while and its gone, as well as all tires pressured up correctly. Highly recommend these professionals and they support vets and local businesses!

Total professionals. Brought my car in after it had been repaired by a mobile mechanic. Universal fixed what he screwed up. No nonsense, no upsell. Car was ready for pickup when they said it would be and runs almost like brand new. Highly recommend.
