This is my favorite place in Plant City besides home. Small booths with different vendors. Best place to buy gifts for any occasions and any person in your life, from books, to clothes, to jewelry to furniture, local honey, chalk paint...so much!!! Every time we visit home we come to the mercantile, It changes daily.

Mercantile is a great & AFFORDABLE antique store. Probably one of the best I have shopped at. Bigger than what it looks, many retro and antique items. They also have raffles (I think every weekend but not sure). Lots of beautiful hand made/hand crafted furniture and trinkets. Staff is super nice. Although its a 2 story building- the store itself is the bottom floor only. All near antique Downton area, it an easy walk to from Mercantile(see pics of the downtown area) Nice quaint place to eat and spend a few hours.

I absolutely loved this store!!! The people there are very friendly and helpful. The decor and ideas and pieces they sell are so cool and creative. The store itself is a really neat building inside historic downtown Plant City.

Fabulous people with a great array of items! My wife absolutely loved it, so I am certain we will be back. They are expanding into the upstairs space, so even more incredible items will entice us to come back very soon!!Prices are fair but, for me, the people make the place absolutely exceptional!!

I have never been to this place and wanted to check it out. However I am medically exempted and felt very discriminated when the man at the front told me I had to wear a mask. You can’t discriminate someone for a medical condition and for being a local business you should want the business. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Great variety of vintage items.

Very nice store, in one of the older buildings. Lots of character! The store was clean and ran qiute efficiently. It had a lot of interesting items and kept us all antique/craft shopping for quite a while. We wont talk about the total we spent collectively, but Im sure the owner was happy we stopped in, while we were visiting Plant City. Judy Lade, Palmetto.

My regrets for not stopping in sooner ..... I have traveled past this place that isnt very catching and not really exploited from the outside in a way thats inviting to people passing for the last 10 yrs maybe more. I stopped in the other day bc I was wasting time and had been asked to stop by a passenger....Im so sorry I never took time to ever stop in prior...Its such a nice place to visit if your into antiques or just nic nac kinda stuff... Its actually very large.The way they have it set up is almost like themes in each room yes they have things that are inexpensive and also pricey but once you go through and back through another 2 times you will see stuff u didnt see prior since there is so much to look at.With that being said it may be a down fall bc its overwhelming and you just wont catch everything they have when scanning the room.. but once you slow down and read tags they do have allot of things that are really decent in priceThe staff were so warming and did not hover or make me feel like Im about to get tackled if I twitch wrong...lol They are Very helpful and nice but carry on a give you space.I really cant say enough about this place. Its a Great little place that does not get credit for what it is due by not catching your eyes with interest enough to make you pull over.. :)Its a shame of how profits could rise if it looked more inviting on the outside bc they have it mastered on the inside

Love everything in this store! I just want to buy everything and take it home! However that might hurt my pocket a little too much... their products seem to be in good condition but everything is priced about $10-$40 more than what I’d be willing to pay for it. But, to each his own 🤷🏻‍♀️ If you want some overly priced wooden boxes and furniture go on ahead. It’s the place for you!

Loved it, I could find many things I liked and wanted to purchase. Lots of pretty and nostalgic things. Not overly packed with items, like the other stores nearby. Very easy to find what you love. Organized and elegant. Much more inviting. I spent about an hour just enjoying the store. The gentleman at the desk (from my area in Pinellas county) was very helpful in suggesting a place for lunch, nice to speak to, friendly. We enjoyed our visit. Plan to come back next week!

We went to this organized, clean, neat Store full of Treasures today for the first time. The owners and Retailers were fabulous and there is a lot of something for absolutely EVERYONE!! Go check it out!

Wonderful shopping experience

This houses a fine assortment of little open shops offering all kinds of antiques and collectibles. Having worked years in the antique business in Eastport, NY, I can assure you their prices are wonderfully affordable. Plant City mercantile also offers an impressive assortment of quality costume jewelry and accessories. They will soon be opening a snack bar for those of us who like to enjoy an afternoon of browsing delightful treasures.

This a great antique store .. You could shop for hrs in here .. The co owner an manager are wonderful people .. A great mix of handmade jewelery vintage jewelery smalls an even furniture .. Well worth visiting from Tampa you wont be disappointed..
