We worked with EMS on a new 6x8 label printer. The printer came in, and we experienced a few issues from not knowing the new equipment, and how it worked with our current labels. EMS worked with us instantly to get us up to speed, and get the correct settings. New equipment can always have bumps, and its how the distributers customer support is that determines how well the experience is. EMS aced it.

We have just went to a new ERP system and it is integrated with Bar Code Scanners and thermal printers at each workstation. EMS Barcode Solutions is the preferred supplier of the hardware fro this ERP system. During initial testing and setup I was very pleased with their help. Once we went live and had a few issues Eric dropped everything else he was doing to provide us with excellent technical help. What I thought was a problem with the scanners turned out to be a Microsoft update on our Terminal Server & Thin Clients and it gave us fits. Eric was able to figure it out and we were up and running. I have to say they are a part of our team and we can count on them to provide the support we have required in an emergency.

Eric returned our call immediately. He spent much time working out our bar code printer issues which involved logging into multiple computers and multiples issues. Everything worked perfect when he was done and he taught us a lot for the future.

We have Global Shop Solutions ERP service and EMS Barcode Solutions came highly recommended from them. We went with EMS because the difference in price between other printers/barcode scanners was small enough that we wanted the piece of mind that EMS provided with their service and guarantee of the hardware. Within 2 weeks we were proved right! Not only was Eric Sutter there from day one with the quote understanding our market climate and not trying to push more sales than what we needed, we also cashed in on their amazing tech service. While Global Shop was onsite to get us set up for barcoding, Eric was available to help them with some install questions within 15 minutes. Then, one Friday afternoon about two weeks later the printer wasnt receiving print jobs suddenly. I emailed Eric and he jumped on a call with us within 10 minutes. We discovered the problem was actually our Ethernet cable being bad, got the problem fixed and were back online within 30 minutes. Hello,If it were possible to give a 10 star rating on EMS Barcodes I would do so in a heartbeat! I had been working with another vendor to come up with a solution for an IPAD 5th Generation/Scan Gun option for an internal SAP application we use in our distribution warehouse at BSN Sports. After much frustration with not getting the solution from the vendor I was working with for 2 weeks and a solution that should have been resolved in a day or 2. I did the next logical thing and googled barcode companies in the DFW area. My first hit on Google was EMS Barcodes. I called the number and Michelle Clifton one of the great and very professional sales reps with EMS answered my call. I explained to Michelle my frustration, and she immediately came to the table with a couple android all in one scan solutions as I felt that the IOS solution was not what we needed in our environment. Michelle called her Dallas office and set up a meeting for me to go meet with the Office Manager for a test run on a few of the scan guns she had presented over the phone. Within a matter of 1 hour I was sitting in the EMS Dallas office with their Business Manager Eric Sutter. Eric did not waste any time. He immediately came to the table with a few options for me to take with me to demo. He took the time to show me all the bells and whistles of both devices. Eric was very professional in his presentation of both devices. He knew the specs, how to configure the devices and showed me how both devices had the ability to scan a barcode label from about a 10 foot range. To say the least I was very impressed with my encounter with EMS Barcodes. Michelle and Eric were extremely professional and were very educated in their product knowledge. Eric made sure that I had what I needed in order to get these devices set up in our environment with some great KB articles with pictures to guide me through the set-up process. Upon returning to my desk I was able to test both devices and they both worked with no hesitation. The last thing that I will mention is that Eric showed me a really cool feature on the guns. Both guns have the Team-Viewer remote support application installed on them. This makes it possible for their technical support staff to remote into these guns and troubleshoot anything in the scan guns.
