You lost a loyal customer.This Indian snack smelt like it expired 10 yrs ago as soon as I tasted it. There is no best before use date anywhere on the packet. I realized this trick is applied almost everywhere on the store.This is an illegal malpractice which should stop as soon as possible. I wonder how this is even possible considering the competition around this place. There are several choices for Indian groceries. Act NOW or the day is not far when someone will take a legal route.

I was really a loyal customer of this store until I found some malpractices. They display an amount for a product whereas while billing it gets scanned for a higher amount. You need to be very careful in taking a look at the bill. Moreover, a lot of products have custom stickers pasted which display incorrect product description and weight.

Variety of indian groceries available., I was particlarly looking for Keer-Ada mix and got immediate help for locating the same. Restaurant inside has delicious food at good pricing!

Taj Grocery or Subzi Mundi... Is a great place to find all the middle eastren herbs, biscuits and chocolate.. i love this place.

Highly recommend for Asian products and follows a very hygiene process along with employees safety.

Place has a variety of groceries and some exclusive foods and snacks that wont be found in many other places. There is a restaurant inside with good food with good pricing. Overall a clean place with good foods and decent prices.

The staff and manager have a very bad attitude. They are taking advantage of the situation. They dont value the customers. I had a very worst experience today. Despite suggesting they were keeping stuff which are very near to expire, the response of the manager was quite negative and very rude. Another experience was overcharging of items which was sorted after explaining to different staff and that too it was refunded with a store coupon instead of cash. Not a trustworthy place to shop. I would never visit again nor suggest shop to someone.

Yesterday, I was going to buy a packet of biscuit from this place. I saw a huge pile of biscuits packs under a discount counter. The price tag was covered with the discounted price slip. I peeled off the slip to check the original price and found out that the biscuits were expired last year. I checked atleast 15 biscuit packers under the discount area and every single one of them was expired. What was the worst was that they covered and tried to hide it with the discount slip. I went ahead and informed the staff and they simply ignored. I will be sending an email to food officer in plano for this.

This is a good market, not great. They have almost everything I have gone there to get, but they need better organization of their supplies and it would be nice if an employee was walking the aisles to help us non-Indians to find what we came for. Regardless of that, this is my number 1 most visited Indian market, and I am glad it is so close to where I live. Just needs minor improvements!

Has good options. Only issue is that the shop in general is quite dirty. The restaurant was very speedy in service (I was there on a Saturday) and was ok in quality. 7/10 would recommend.

Produce is good on the weekends. Other Indian grocery items are also at comparable prices with other indian store in the area. They have utensils and other household items as well.They have a fast food center inside the store where you can sit and eat as well take home take-out. Get your food ready while you show. Its good too.

This place has transformed to sabzi mandi, and have more choices and better maintained.

You can find most of Indo-Pak food items except meat and fish.

This was my first Indian grocery shop experience after coming to Plano, last year. It has most of Indian brands available here. One can get almost all vegetables like okra, jackfruit, pulses tomatoes etc.Go there to buy utensils like spatula and bowls and cooking stuff. Its also got an in house restaurant which has snacks like gol gappa available.You can get products from aashirwad flour to haldiram snack and frozen products - chapati paranthas etc.I dont frequently visit this place but a good option for buying groceries.

Customer service here sucks. If u need help or have a question good luck with finding someone. Some will also stand in the corner and look at u funny. Otherwise they have everything in the store and I love their cafe.

The chapatis/rotis are really fresh and good. Much better when compared to other Indian grocers in that aspect. Veggies are not fresh though all the time. Havent tried the food place.

I always go to this store for 2 things. Masala chai and Parle-G biscuits. Together they are so yummy.

This is my favorite Indian supermarket. They are a great place for deals on dates, spices, and beans and nuts. It is not a fancy supermarket but has a more at home flair to it.

This place used to be a great place to shop Indian grocery and grab quick bite till about 2-3 years ago when it was owned by the founders of the store. Ever since it has been bought by the new owners, its been a down hill trend. Product variety is lower, produce life is short, food taste in the restaurant is ok at best and the cost of goods is nearly doubled! $ for $, you can buy twice as much groceries in other stores.Overall store appearance has gone downhill... Stuff stacked everywhere haphazardly. Before used to be a bit more organized, clean.Staff is friendly and courteous but the direction from top seems to have changed & not for good...

There are 3 other Indian stores in the area and they are all better in every way. Prices were decent.

Subcontinent chat flavor authentic... Tasty. serving size is generous. Could do a little more on cleanliness but not bad at all.

It has pretty much everything required for an Indian cooking. Even the utensils and appliances suited to Indian style are available. Huge place, can do with a little organization of the aisles.

I really enjoy shopping here since its much better than the Richardson location. The aisles are clean, they have great fresh produce, and all of the Indian products you can imagine. Its a great place to get in and out with everything (desi) that you need.

Good location, however I found the place needs more maintenance and supervision. Lines were long and service was slow. Quite a few competitors around here for Indian groceries and prepared food/chat items.

This is for grocery store. I would have given 0 star if possible. This place have all the best before date removed from rasoi magic and mothers recipe.they have chutney pouches which are shouting and telling they are expired.the manager is least bothered. He is like if y want to buy .. otherwise you are free to leave. I really want to take a legal action against them for selling expired food and selling food without best before

Great variety of Indian vegetables, legumes, spices, flours of all types interesting for lovers of home made breads. Also, this is the only store where I have found Spanish (from Spain) cookies Maria Gullon made of high oleic sunflower oil, unbelievable at a more than affordable price. Theres also a restaurant inside the store that deserves a try. One thing, dont expect nothing glamorous...

Different for sure. Grocery is ok and affordable. They have a vegetarian restaurant inside that if really good. This review is more for the restaurant than the grocery store.

My BMW got a 2-inch dent because some careless person drove a cart into my car. This is why dont leave ypur cart wherever you went. And then, I went inside to ask for the cameras pointing at the parking lot and said that they did not have any. I told them about the incident firmly so they would understand and they almost sreamed ta me to get out because they did not want their other customers to leave. What a shame. That dent cost me more than $700 to repair. Please put your carts in the designated area and do not just leave them wherever you want because the staff is not there to help you if anything happens. they arent there to serve you. They are just there. LOL but actually kinda sad.

The food was good but the place looks unhygienic. The restrooms were without hand soap and paper towels. That was surprising because its inside a grocery store that has plethora of hand soaps on the shelves.

The shopping experience is wonderful, the staff is really friendly. There is also a restaurant and a small boutique that as well. The food at the restaurant is the best Indian food Ive had in Texas.

Bhel Puri was pathetic. Right from office we went to have chat and it was bakwas . We complained and they dont even have curtacy they will say this is how we prepare . Even tea was like hot water not good . Dont even think of going to this place, I wish there would have 0 star to rate .

The attached cafe is good and inexpensive. Groceries are so so. Avoid buying coconuts from here. 90% of coconuts I bought from here were rotten. Decided to buy them locally from a nearby tomthumb instead.

This review is for Taj Grocers!! Through a thunder storm day i went out to pick up my food @Taj chat house and quickly picked up some stuff costing around 5-6$. Not carrying cash, I was forced to make a purchase for 10$ or leave..Requested if i could buy a gift card(Taj grocers) for 10$ or what ever and was rejected. Dont understand logic..I happily drove a couple of miles and picked my stuff from India bazaar. Management hear this..i already c ur counters empty even on a weekend..B sensitive and make $$$.This is not a review..PAIN.. Good luck buddies.

It’s a worst food place ever! I hated the food, my kids didn’t like either. I am never gonna come back again to this place, simply wasting of money 😡. We ordered 5 varieties and everything was blunt and mixed chaat was tasted like eraser and dosa was not cooked properly, I can’t explain how Manchuria tasted. Doesn’t even deserve 1 star, most disappointing! Please don’t visit this place.

Very good store for indian/pakistani grocery items, you can find fresh vegetables. They often have promotional deals on various items. Like it more than Patel.

Vegetables are a bit or miss. If they are stocked fresh that day you are at luck otherwise they seem old or stale. Food / pani Puri is fine

They have everything that Patel brothers has and then some. Also attached is an ethnic jewellery cum clothing store. The restaurant/chaat shop is very reasonably priced. I guess the location is a problem so not too many people go there. Its closer to my place but I often go to Patel brothers for the fresh chappati and the meat shop in the same strip mall.

Vegetables are not so fresh. If pay by cash and the price has 99 cents, cashier doesnt return 1 cent.In addition they remove expiry date, so be careful.

They kept everything in organized manner. We can buy Indian vegetables, dress and Some cooking vessels. The dress is not cheap. The Indian foods r available here. I tried aloo paratha and non. Aloo paratha is soft and tasty. Nan is not so soft.
