A decent size store filled with golf/tennis/pickleball items. The store was clean and well organized with polite and professional employees. This store is a hit higher in price and is suffering from outages like many other stores on certain items. This location has an indoor tennis court for tennis players. Plenty of options all around though.

Getting someone to assist you in this place is near impossible. We went in a week ago and knew exactly what we wanted. It took 20 minutes to get someone to help. We went back today and it was worse. It took 30 minutes to get someone on the floor. Their selection of irons is really poor as well. Almost nothing in stock. Edit: We dropped a 7 iron off to have the shaft and grip repaired on this day. They said that it would take 2-3days and they would notify us (left them my phone# and email). Still nothing. Im just going to see how long it takes for them to actually reach out. We ended up ordering a set of titleist irons online that evening, because we couldnt get any assistance in store.

I had very bad luck!I took my AUTOFLEX DRIVER SHAFT, into the store to get a new tip put on. They said it would need to be left there until tomorrow, so I did just that. The next day I received a call saying that they had accidentally snapped the shaft in two. I was so upset because they shaft is very difficult to find. After about a month of going back and forth I finally got in contact with Aaron Alexander. No one had been of much help but as soon as I got in contact with him he took care of me, with updates. I was able to get the exact shaft and they even through in a grip and free adapter for me. I would have given a bad review if not for him.Aside from this bad experience I go there frequently and they have a great selection!Thank you again for your help Aaron.

Jim was great and helped fit me for my whole bag of clubs. Prior to that, the other staff seemed to ignore me and another gentleman in the store. The PGA professional fitter guy named Scott was condescending and rude. Felt like he was treating me like I didnt have any money or did not belong. I hope the company will take some time to refresh on diversity training and social skills. If it had not been for Jim, this would have been a 1 star rating . I hope my next experience will not find so many rude staff members

Saturday was not the day to go buy a new driver. I knew what I wanted but when spending $500 for a club, I wanted to have it fitted and tweaked into place. Asked for a Ping person and was told that they all are Ping qualified. Took the beeper to wait my turn. The guy was nice but didn’t know anything. I ask a question and he says let me go ask the expert. Didn’t know what the symbols in the settings meant. The movable weight in the head was in the wrong place when I had requested that we start at neutral. He didn’t seem to understand what I was talking about when I questioned that. I finally just gave up. It’s disappointing when you hope for professional assistance and get just a nice guy. But that got him two stars.

Let me start with good selection of products and prices that are on par with other golf stores/outlets. I am mainly in the market for a new golf bag immediately and very close to pulling the trigger on a new set of irons, Titleist T200 or Taylormade P790.I did have a very bad experience with one of the employees though and not sure if it was a normal experience or not. It was 7:51 and the store closes at 8:00 on a Friday Night. Normally, I am not the person to be in the store that close to closing time but being that I am from 30-40 minutes away to check on the previously listed items, I was walking the rest of the store with my girlfriend to see what was out there. We were in the footwear section when an associate asked if I was looking for anything in particular. I replied with no thank you, just browsing to which her response was immediately ok - you know we close at 8:00 in a not so subtle attitude - which took me back a bit. I responded We will be out of here shortly and her response was Thank you. It was a very odd exchange with a store associate and even the girlfriend whispered to me well that was quite rude. The associate then proceeded to follow us 15-20 steps back the rest of the footwear section and up the main aisle to the front in a very pushing manner. When we were going up the main aisle, she noticed another group of shoppers off to the right and did the same exact thing to them as if it was normal.I have worked part-time retail and I know the struggle of customers after closing so I get it (the reason I dont like being there that close to closing) - but I would never push customers out of a store in the way we were pushed - let alone BEFORE the store was actually closed. We walked out at 7:58 and I more than likely will not be returning.

Still great selection, but service has really gotten bad. Maybe it is COVID or not enough employees. The last two times I went, I was trying to decide whether to buy a new driver. Walked out disappointed both times because I couldn’t get any help in finding and trying a driver that I might like.UPDATE: Went back for a third try and met Jeb Stuart. As it was only 20 minutes before closing time, Jeb suggested I come back when we would have more time to see what would work best for me. I went back yesterday and came away with a better driver and a better swing. Can’t say enough good things about Jeb. Very patient, knowledgeable and helpful. Glad PGA has him. Rude and insulting customer service. Returned two Tiger Woods golf shirts that were too small and their cashier accused me of having worn them. I said that was not correct to which she replied there is not a tag. I told her that was impossible and I had to go over the shirt to find the tag for her (a tag almost as big as her hand) which was clearly attached to the shirt. Instead of an apology for the accusation she replies well it looks worn to me. I explained that is because I had to try it on obviously otherwise how would I know it was too small. Then she responds with well most people try shirts on first. You have to be kidding me I was in a hurry the night I bought them because it was almost closing time and we were trying to find a tennis racket for my son. Further more I own multiple TW shirts in small so I had no reason to believe a small wouldnt work!Great Customer Experience!

PGA superstore is one of the preeminent big box golf stores in the U.S. and consequently the DFW. I have been there several times and have reserved judgement until Ive interacted with many stores in different capacities and within a myriad of purchases. The good:Well stocked with every brand, manufacturer and accessory including clothing. They are also geographically available which is definitely important for this particular affliction. The bad:PGA superstore bends under the weight of their own expansion and store size when it comes to SERVICE. Too many indifferent unknowledgeable employees that seem like WE are bothering THEM at home. The shock of some of the service Ive seen and endured is frankly embarrassing. This is a very niche industry and people derrive true joy from the game and expect a positive attitude (at least fake it).The misinformed, lack of effort and/or grumpy employees account for about 30% per my experiences hence the 3 stars. This is very fixable, a few secret shoppers would do wonders for management. Less employees at higher quality would be preferable to what currently exists.Sorry to rant but trying to be constructive also :)

Do yourself a favor, go see Scott Swords of the Fitting Van Experience. Excellent fitter, best experience I ever had buying a golf club. I regret all the times I bought golf clubs without the fitting thinking I was saving some money, but actually expending more because I had to try something else. You don’t have to guess, you’ll see numbers, proof and with his knowledge you won’t go wrong. You get to try different heads and different shafts, and with his feedback you’ll walk out of there with the best club for you. Dont forget Steve, hes on club repair, the best man to tweak your clubs.

First, the gentlemen who run the hitting bays are awesome. They will have and hold a conversation with you without pressuring you to buy anything. The installer who wears the full face grinding helmet is fantastic! He went out of his (really busy) to help locate a putter for me.No the reason for my 3 stars is in part, my fault. I went in looking for a certain shaft and I found a Pre-Owned driver that fit me well and was really in a pinch due to an upcoming trip. The pre-owned (cant stress this enough), did not come with a head cover, or an adjustment tool. I should have checked online for a comparable price BEFORE i talked to Robert. The driver in question was 299.99... used. Online they are $300.00 NEW.Again, this is my fault for not checking first, but the SuperStores have always been close to market. What gives this place 3 stars is when asked if thats the best deal they could do it was an emphatic YES. ZERO wiggle room on a Pre-Owned driver, with no head cover, no adjustment tool. Hell they dont even do a military discount.Anyone who has ever traded in a golf club knows youre getting bottom dollar so they can mark it up. In fact, almost every used driver they have on their Demo table is 299.99.Again, my fault for not shopping around, just know I will never buy anything from this location again. It is too easy to order literally ANYTHING you want online. Thanks Robert for helping with future decisions.

I am a frequent and very satisfied customer of the PGA Tour Superstore in Southlake. Everyone there has always been incredibly helpful and friendly. My Plano Preston store experience was very different. The location was closer to my job so I went to see if they could help me with a ball fitting as I read online that they performed those. Now, I have been fitted for every single club in my bag, and in all honesty, it has dramatically improved my game, and I was curious if a ball fitting would benefit me. After they passed me around to different folks, I suppose the ultimate losing party had to help me. Or at least pretend to.This was the ball fitting:“What clubs do you have?” I answer with my clubs and note that the shaft was X-Flex.The gentleman goes and grabs me a seven iron with a regular flex shaft and comes back with a sleeve of Pro-V1.He puts the ball down and says “You can’t go wrong with Pro-V1.”I hit maybe 5-6 shots and that was it. The launch monitor wasn’t even working to tell me my distance, spin rate, or anything else for that matter. He just asked me if it felt good. Pro-V1 is a great ball, so obviously it would feel good to hit.I asked if I could try others. He said that the only way I could really know if a ball was good for me was to go buy a sleeve of the different balls I wanted to try and try them out myself.Isn’t that what a ball fitting was for?I realize it’s just a ball fitting, but if you’re not willing to actually perform it, then why advertise it? It was just a waste of me time. He was very courteous, not rude but what kind of fitting is that?

Still encourage the PGA team to as a whole to be more fun to work with, most are. Increasing my rating from 3 to 5 stars. General comments. Favorite aspects are the selection, the playability guarantee, and most of all the tour van fitting service. Scott Swords is great to work with and brings excellent experience to the interaction, highly recommend scheduling individual fittings with him. Demo process is not as robust, they arent willing to take you through different shaft options, instead push you toward tour fitting. Honestly thats the better idea anyway especially at the price youre paying. Practice facilities and selection are also good but the hitting bays can be buggy, just be patient.

Overall, great place for testing out new equipment (latest models), indoor golf practice bays (membership required), 1 indoor tennis court, and comprehensive selection of apparel and equipment. The only caution is the club repair service, which could be spotty. Great for simple things like grip change and club lengthening/shortening, but spotty for more complex things like installing a driver adapter. When my adapter started to squeak, they told me that the epoxy became loose and it had to be reinstalled. When I got the shaft back, the adapter was scorched (from heat to remove it) and it was installed backwards (my align grip was on top as opposed to on the bottom). I had to buy another adapter and pay again to get them to install it correctly.

I use that term loosely because he could not have been more disinterested in helping me. He literally seemed annoyed that I was there as if I was wasting his time. I found him rude, condescending and unprofessional the entire session. I decided about halfway through that there was no way I was purchasing anything from him because of his poor attitude and the way he treated me as a customer. First time in the store without any knowledge of the sport. Customer Service was better than Chik-fila. Which is rare to do. Walked out with a starter kit for my son and knowledge. Look forward to the private lessons next week.

The fact that if you buy any new club there and they give you a 90 day play, keep or trade policy is enough for me to not even bother going anywhere else. I have used this service and they are great about it, no hassle, no problems! I will be a long time customer!

Horrible customer service. These people act like youre a bother to be in THEIR store. Definitely has an air of racial and age preference here as well. Not white and or 60 years old or older? Expect to be skipped in line (yea that just happened). Any shade of brown? Go elsewhere. I will never spend another dime in this place. Great way to treat a 20 year veteran. Judging books by their cover here.... pathetic.

I have frequented this store for the last two years. The on site pros are very knowledgeable and the testing/hitting facilities are the best in the area. If you are looking to hone your game, get new equipment, or try the latest releases this is the place to go.I have had grips installed and lie adjusted on several clubs and the clubs have been fixed up quickly, sometimes even while Im browsing around the store. I would highly recommend.

IF YOU ARE NOT WHITE...PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!!! I had the worst customer service experience of my life. Horrible customer service! When I entered the store, no one spoke to me, so I walked up to one of the guys standing by and asked him where to find the ladies visors, he pointed to the end of the store and went on his way. I walked to where he pointed at and still couldnt find them, so I asked another young guy where to go, he looked at me like I was a really bothering him, pointed to the end of the store, and continued doing whatever he was doing. Unbelievable!!. Finally, after walking around for a few minutes I found what I was looking for. When I got to the register the cashier a young white guy, summoned me with his hand to come over to the other side where his register was located and so I did, He proceeded to ring up my order and when he was done, he shoved the receipt to my face and went on to talk to his co-worker who was standing by. I stood there in disbelief and I had to ask him to please put my visor in a bag for me, can you imagine this! I had to ask for a bag, this is unacceptable!! By the time I left the store, I felt so SMALL!! I will never go back to this store again!!!!!!!!!!!!never!!.

The only reason I go in is because of my children and husband. Everytime I come here I feel unwelcome and rushed at the register. They seem bothered if I ask any questions about where things are. Time to fire and hire new faces with better people skills. Im not sure if this is just how they are or if they are only this way towards women customers.

I just took in a once used mizuno 54 degree wedge I paid 149.00 for. in mint condition, they offered me $20.00 store credit, which gives it about a $3.00 value Customer Service in this store is pretty equivalent to a Ross store. Whoever is training your team should be fired, to say the he least.

Do yourself a favor. Go to another golf shop. Customer Service over the last year has really slipped. I go to my pro or other golf shops for advice then purchase at PGA store if they happen to have lower prices. They are understaffed or their employees are just curt. Took a club in for repair. They sent it to the factory but dont know where it is or whats going on. After a weeks wait I finally get a call saying it will be in in the next few days. 5 days later I call up there and they are confused and the guy on the phone is put out because Im having to go over a long winded situation they created. Save yours frustration there has to be a better experience.

This was one of the best experiences I have had at a store. I started playing golf a few months ago. Once I started showing improvement in my game I wanted to upgrade from my basic clubs. I was nervous going in cause I know absolutely nothing about golf clubs or all the numbers behind them. I didn’t want to annoy anyone with the multitude of questions. As soon as I walked in the door I was lost simply cause there is so much they have to offer. I was approached and immediately put in a simulation bay to see what clubs work best with me. Both gentlemen were patient and kind. They found exactly what I was looking for in the price range I was wanting. After I felt so good I decided to walk around a check out the store. I wanted to now look at some of the wedges they offered and of course had questions with the numbers on the clubs. Ty was walking by and stopped to help. He went into so much detail and made sure I understood every part of the club head. He even brought up examples depending on what surface the ball was on. I went in to buy one club ‘Maybe’. I left with two clubs and a new pair of gloves. I couldn’t be happier. I’m ready to get back on the course. Thank you Ty

Great place to buy. Lots of options. Return in 30 days is a great policy. Floor staff is kinda bothered by you if you ask for help. Could be a Little more friendly.
