Overall fitting experience was good and I am happy with the club/shaft combo that I got. Was told 5-10 weeks to fulfill the order which I suspected prior to the fitting so that wasn’t a shock. What was a shock was to find out after the order that I was up charged $85 per shaft for a shaft that no other major retailer including the manufacturer chargers extra for. Received part of the order after about 8 weeks but have just called to find out when the remainder of the order will be fulfilled and am being told December/January is when I can expect it. Originally ordered in August so that is way outside the original time frame. Fitting was good but overall after talking to others after the fact I was completely ripped off on the shaft price. Probably my own fault should have done the fitting taken the details down and ordered them myself and saved $1000 for the exact same set up.EditAs mentioned fitting was good I guess I was made to believe the shaft itself cost extra not that the charge was for their fitting. As an amateurs and not someone on tour I would have saved my $600 and got it somewhere else. The puring cost was explained to me and that I accepted. But I was misled with with shaft up charge. Also for the amount of money I payed and now the significantly longer delay then I was told it would be nice if something extra was done about this not just a simple not our fault we will let you know when it’s here in January. Customer service is poor, fitting was good.

Bobby was great, took his time and walked me through everything he was doing. For a hacker like me, understanding what he was doing and why when it came to the putter fitting was eye opening. Of course, I was draining practically everything in the studio, lets hope it keeps up on the course when the club finally arrives. Assuming it does you can be sure I will be back for more fittings. Overall, a great experience

Had a fitting with Ryan this week and I could not be happier. I was there for 3 hours (full bag) and by the end had taken more than 100 swings. Ryan was very knowledgeable and was able to spot issues and suggest corrections quickly. I highly recommend Ryan and Club Champion.

As a high handicapper I was skeptical about paying for this process. Bobby Ennis is knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. My clubs just came in...I am positive they will help me but lessons are next. Especially excited about the XXIO woods. Not well known but #1 club in Japan and made specifically for slower to mid swing speeds.

Ill be honest, going into a full bag fitting I was a little nervous as I wasnt sure what to expect. Not only was I blown away by how nice my fitter (Chase) was, after getting settled and hitting a few shots, I felt like I was part of the team. The amount of knowledge I learned about my swing and my shot patterns was invaluable, and by the end of it there was no pressure to purchase any clubs and they gladly provided all the data/recommendations on paper. Because of the knowledge, data, and opportunity to hit so many different combinations, I happily placed my order for a complete full bag, and cant wait to recommend this place to friends and family. If youre thinking about getting fitted for a full bag or even just a single club type, definitely go - - theres just so many things you can learn, but more importantly, its some of the best fun youll ever have golfing!

I went in to get fitted for irons and driver and had a great time. Brian was super friendly and took the time to explain everything to me. There was no pressure to go with any specific brand; we went with what performed the best and the clubs I liked the most.I will definitely go this route in the future when getting new clubs!

Absolutely horrible experience. Ordered a putter on July 17th and almost two months later I still haven’t received it. Tried to cancel the order and was told that because it was a “custom order” (half inch longer at 35.5) it can’t be canceled even though parts haven’t been received or assembled.

Customer service and Follow Up failure:Made appt for a putter fitting with one of their master fitters. Upon arrival, I was sent to a very Jr. Member of the team. He stumbled through the use of the fitting software. It was not the experience others at my club have enjoyed.3 weeks later my putter arrives, but the grip is not there. After 3 more weeks I call Club Champion and get transferred to central support (tried three times toREach the Plano location with no success). Central support tells me the putter grip is available at the Plano location. So, I drive over and find out it is not there. Also find out my Jr fitter is no longer with the company. Also find out my putter grip arrived Aug 11th, but no one can find it and no one notified me of it’s arrival. So, for a premium putter and fitting expense, I’m still waiting for my grip.Customer service and follow-up are lacking.

I had my clubs for 18 years. I knew they were done, burnt toast, put a fork in them. I went to Club Champion (Dallas) and Ryan was fantastic. I went with an open mind and came close to getting a set of irons I didn’t anticipate, but sadly they stop making them (Srixon, forgot the actual sub-type) I went with choice 1B, Titleist T100’s. They have added 10 yards to my game. I’m still getting use to hitting my 9 iron 150 again. It’s been throwing me off a bit. I’m now heading back to get my Driver and 3W done.I would suggest going with an open mind, I was in the golf industry for 3 years and knew a ton and even majored in it for 2 years. So much has has changed and they are there to help.Ryan was great, no pressure and even suggested not to get my Woods changed at the time. I had a swing speed of 95-100mph but I have improved it to 106.It does take time to get them made, please anticipate 6-8 weeks. With that, good luck and enjoy your new game. I sure have.

I have used Club Champion in Denver for a hybrid fitting and most recently the location in Plano TX for my irons. All I can say is not all locations are as responsive and thorough in their fittings. I am very unhappy with the responsiveness of the staff at the Plano location! Ive had my new irons for 3 mo and wanted a follow-up to check the lie on the new irons. I reached out via phone and always get transfered to a central support line and they have not responded to my emails. They enjoyed me paying $1500 for new irons, but the customer service is awful! Will NEVER use this location again!!!!

Had to take a minute to sing the praises of Bobby from Club Champion in Dallas. I was completely impressed with his commitment to getting the right equipment in my hands that matched my swing and goals. Bobby encouraged me to take the time to hone my swings identity before he would help my find the right club and I truly thought this was such a great example of how this company is concerned about getting it right for each customer and not just getting a customer to buy quickly. Looking forward to my next session with this group as I work to upgrade my bag. I highly recommend Club Champion if you are serious about improving your game.

The iron fitting went smoothly and the club:shaft combination showed a 10 - 15 yard improvement. The clubs were more than I wanted to pay, but 15 yards.I was so pumped to take them to the course. I was shocked that I didn’t see the same performance on the course. I played them for about a month and never saw the same improvement. I went back to fitter thinking I was covered by the guarantee. Tested 6 iron and saw a 1 - 3 yard improvement over old club. I said that isn’t the results that I purchased them for. I asked about guarantee and was told there was an improvement nothing he could do. I wouldn’t have purchased clubs for 1-3 yards. Fitter told me to swing faster.

This is a really good location as I think these guys do an amazing job. Brian Ennis has fitted me twice now and really knows his stuff. Ive had custom fittings elsewhere many times, but they have the best selection and equipment to make the most informed decisions. I think thats paramount cause this stuff isnt cheap and you need to have the utmost confidence in your equipment when on the course. Highly recommend.

Up front, I must advise that I have worked in the Golf industry in the past, had fittings from other companies and know what can and can not be done during the fitting and build process.I scheduled an iron fitting with Bobby. He was highly recommended by a co-worker. Upon my arrival prior to the scheduled time, I was greeted by Austin who informed me he would be taking care of my fitting. I advised I had scheduled a fitting with Bobby. I was told that Bobby wasnt available this day. With the limited availability of fitting times and my personal schedule, I did do a fitting with Austin. I informed Austin that I was open to the main Manufacturers and wanted to stay within a standard shaft offering. As we tested shafts (both Steel and Graphite), I asked to verify that the shafts were standard offerings. Austin advised they were. Once we determined the shaft, we proceeded to test iron heads. This process was what I would describe as just above the equivalent of what PGA Superstore does. I requested that we change the grip to a midsize since that is the size that I play. Austin said they could not change out grips. I then asked how could we get an accurate fitting with the wrong grip size and weight. Austin advise this would be fine. I disagreed but being an hour into the fit, continued and finished within 10 min. After the fitting, Austin printed out a build sheet which reflected almost $2500 total for 7 irons. As I expected, the shaft he fit me with was a $90 upcharge per shaft. The shaft sells normally for $45 from the manufacturer and golf building suppliers. I also enquired about build time. Austin advised it would be 6-8 weeks because the clubs would be built at Club Champions main studio/office out of state.Pros: fitting process was done using TrackManCons:-If you schedule one Fitter, do not bait and switch with another fitter.-The inability or unwillingness to test with proper size grip-Fitting with upcharge shaft, when player requests no upgrade-Extreme overcharge of equipment-Clubs not actually built in house by fitter/builder.I received better service and feedback from the free Service provided by PGA Superstore when compared to the service provided with the $150 iron fitting fee of Club Champion.I am willing to discuss any portion of my fitting with anyone that has questions or concerns. Keep it on the short grass!

I just found out about Club Champion 3 days ago, so I booked an appointment immediately. Brian Ennis is very knowledgeable about the computer program SAM (Science and Aim). SAM takes pictures of your alignment and putting stroke. The computer prints out the information concerning your putting setup, takeaway and follow through. Brian interprets the computer picture facts so you can work on correcting the issues. After the testing you will know if the putter you are using is the right one for you. He can make adjustments to your putter on the spot if necessary. How do you know if your putting stroke is accurate? You don’t unless you get tested. This is amazing! I wish this technology was available when I was a teenager!

Went in for a fitting July 3rd with Brian Ennis. Had a great experience. Brian was very professional and knowledgable. However, after purchasing the clubs, my experience worsened. Would not order clubs through Club Champion ever again. I was told the process would take 10-15 days. Did not expect to wait approximately two months. During this entire process, I got email updates on July 15, July 20th, and August 12th. I called the Club Champion support line a few times to get updates since not much was being said about my order status. On one particular call on Aug 4th, I was told they would get the FINAL club head (driver) required to start building would arrive in a couple days. I called again on Aug. 13th to my club fitter and was told that they are waiting on completely different clubs (wedges) to come in and will instead separate my order to complete what they can of the build. In addition, the wedges were suppose to arrive on Aug. 4th to the warehouse and no followup was conducted to see why on Aug. 12th, the item was still not there. Following that conversation, I received an email with the target delivery date of Aug. 26th for the part of my order that was separated. I understand COVID is delaying productions but giving customer’s false information on delivery status’s is inexcusable. If they had been giving me proper and correct updates throughout this experience, I would not be writing this review. Lastly, again, I would like to emphasize that Brian was a great fitter. This seems to be a problem with Club Champion’s customer service and distribution/build centers.

This place is top notch for getting fit for any club in your bag. All the guys are great here, but I have worked with Bobby at their store for the past couple of times. Hes hands on and is one of the best in the business. If youre leaving a bad review because you didnt get a call back I dont think thats fair at all and not indicative of the service youll receive once youre in there. I would suggest giving it another shot or email them directly, or even call the corporate office and schedule it that way.

Do yourself a favor, go see Bobby and Brian at Club Champion. I am a decent golfer with experience fitting people for clubs and a golf club junkie. Over the years I have tried almost any and every club manufactured. My step-son out grew his junior set so we gave him a fitting at Club Champion for Christmas. Brian and Bobby perfectly fit my step-son with a new set. He is on the golf team at Frisco High and after the fitting his confidence is sky high and his scores are dropping.I was so impressed with Brian and Bobby that I decided to get fit myself. I thought I understood club designs and what clubs would be best for me. During my fitting, I was blown away by Brian and Bobbys knowledge of clubs. They ended up fitting me for a set I never would have though of and I could not be happier.I have referred two buddies for fitting. One is a new golfer who asked me to go with him for the fitting. Bobby was VERY patient with my buddy who was worried about going in and getting fit at his current skill level. After his fitting, my buddy now has a set of clubs he stripes down the middle and is very happy. The service does not stop with the sale. Both my step-son and I have taken clubs back to be tweaked and Bobby and Brian take care of the minor adjustments promptly.I could not recommend these guys enough.Thank you, Guys!

I had a great experience of getting fitted for clubs with David McBurnett at the Plano location and highly recommend him and Club Champion. This was my first club fitting and David was extremely knowledgeable, patient and answered all my questions thoroughly. David explained each step of the process and what each club head and shaft weight combination did to the ball flight, spin rate and launch angles. I highly recommend you set up and appointment and get fitted. With Davids guidance, I gained 22 yrds carry distance and 20 feet of height in ball flight in our selections. I can not say it enough, set up an appointment and get fitted with David!!

I have been twice for fittings, once for a driver and once for a putter. The driver fitting was the most thorough process I have ever been through for a fitting. Joel was very patient and methodical as we worked through different combinations of shafts and heads. He was as determined as I to find just the right equipment. Whenever I have gone for fittings in the past, Ive always wondered if there was something else that either they dont sell or didnt take the time to show me. At Club Champion, those worries are laid to rest. You will get the best club for your swing that they can build. I cant recommend these guys enough. Go in and let them do their thing. Yes, you might pay more than something you bought off the rack at a normal golf store, but you wont regret it.

Everything was AWESOMEMy husband and I got fitted the same day. Hes been playing golf his whole life and I just started several months ago. It may seem premature to get fitted for a sport I havent played much of, but I wanted clubs that fit my swing and height, not adjust my swings to the clubs and pick up bad habits and inconsistencies. Ive had other professionals at other places brush me off or dismiss me because I havent played for that long, probably thinking, she cant be serious. I did not feel like that today. Bobby was great! He was very patient and put me at ease when he sensed my apprehension. Extremely knowledgable and personable. Im looking forward to my clubs and I cant wait to play!!! Thanks Bobby!!!!! #awesome

Fitting experience solid, build cycle-time caution...Had a fitting at Club Champions Plano store on 4/27. Good facility, knowledgeable fitting specialist with no product biases. All advice were made via data on the monitor after going through many many variations of shafts and club heads. No complaints with the fitting service other than they didnt have every shaft in a +0, +1/2, +1 length so took a little risk picking a +1 shaft when I was only able to test a +1/2 shaft of the same type. Not a big deal. Two issues with what happened after I paid a large sum of money. My fitting specialist never returned email or phone calls when asked to confirm the exact brand/spec on the build sheet. I had to call the store and get someone else to do it after 4 days of waiting.Second is the turn around time on building the clubs. I was told before purchasing that their usual turn around time was 2 weeks(possibly 3), then sent a form email confirming . 1.5 weeks later, I was informed the expected date was ~4 weeks.EDIT: As of 5/15 CC has escalated the situation and trying to expedite the build process at PXG. The issue seems to be PXG OEM(i.e. PXG handles the shaft/head build) process taking 2 weeks by itself before CC gets them and checks the build and adds grips, adjusts weights etc.EDIT 2: To CCs credit, they recognized that there was a misunderstanding on build cycle-time. They worked with me and PXG to expedite the build for meet my travel schedule. Received the clubs, and very happy with the result. Ive updated the review to a 4-star. My advice is to make sure you understand the cycle-time *before* placing the order if you have a trip planned around your new babys arrival.
