Had an antique sofa recovered and I was absolutely amazed how quickly they had done it and how beautiful it turned out. I’m now looking at having a few more pieces done. So happy!!

This is a such a lovely store. Helpful experts on hand. Lots of samples of their work on display. Attention to detail is obvious. Their workroom is local. Highly recommend a stop here if you’re looking for custom window treatments, cushions and upholstery. This window treatment was created with fabrics from Berkeley Decor. I have used Berkley Decor for four different projects. I have been extremely happy with all four. 1) Stuffed back cushions on sofa 2) Recovered barstools with imitation leather with tuffs and buttons 3) Reupholstered 2 reclining chairs with nail studs 4) Reupholstered antique tuffed chair with nail studs. They all four look fabulous!

I LOVE Berkeley Decor and working with Mike and Cindy, the owners! They have done our media room and living room custom drapes. I love how they still come out to your house for consultation and installation. It shows that they take pride in their work and want to make sure it is done correctly and that the customer is happy. They are very reasonably priced. I have compared their prices with other companies and they are either close in price or better. But Ive always gone with them and recommended them because I like that they have a store front, they have been around for many years, and the owners are super friendly and knowledgeable. Berkeley Decor has been our go-to upholsterer for fifteen years and they never cease to exceed expectations, providing decorating ideas along with fabric selection assistance and advice. We have two sofas that were in excellent condition but the seating cushions had seen better days. The sofa frames were well made and it seemed a waste to buy new ones to replace them. We took the cushions to Berkeley to rebuild the cushions with springs. Initially they found some springs, but Erika felt they werent really right, so she asked us to try them out. We did but werent satisfied, so Erika found new ones that work perfectly! Our sofas are now better than new and we are again completely satisfied with their work.

Erika thank you for all your help as I went through so many fabric options, to the perfect choice. Our sales associate Mike came himself to install back door blind in a thunderstorm. If we had only known about Berkeleys before buying motorized blinds, shutters & honeycomb blinds fr another company which have given us so much trouble. Everyone associated with Berkeley has been so pleasant & strive to please. Their blind makes our others look so cheap in comparison. Excellent job.

I went to this company to get my dining rooms recovered. I made my decision based on the timeline I was given by them. I was told 2 weeks and it would probably be sooner, because once my fabric came in, it was an easy project. I called today-which is 2 weeks and have been told, they will not be ready until the end of the day on Wednesday. I have a Christmas party scheduled for Wednesday evening. I was told, well you do know it is the holiday season and its only 2 days late. This project was something I could have delayed until January or gone somewhere else to have completed. I chose to have this done based on the timeline they gave me. This is unacceptable. I have lost faith and not feeling good about the quality of work that will be completed on my chair cushions.

I have been using BERKELEY since 2010. And in 2019 they reupholstered a lounge piece for our kitchen in our commercial space. We are repeat offenders and love the quality and selection. I would highly recommend their services. Sincerely, Alicia

Berkeley decor has done several jobs for me. They created custom drapes, valances and pillows for my home. They also made a custom blackout padded board to cover the windows in our media room. Looked fabulous with the textured black leather and metal rivets. Recently they recovered my dinette chairs for my daughters new apartment. Erica was very helpful in helping me find a white linen fabric to cover a bedroom bench. They are always professional and willing to go the extra mile to make their customers happy. I highly recommend Berkeley to all my friends and neighbors.

Beautiful, meticulous work. Berkeley Decor has done 2 projects for me :window coverings in 2009 & upholstery work in Dec 2018. They recovered a treasured custom made family sofa from 1967, and it looks like a $10k sofa from a designer showroom. The original down was replaced & foam added to the seat cushions, they are amazing.They also recovered my family’s favorite chairs, 2 slim line recliners from La Z Boy. The graphic Ikat style pattern is perfectly matched on both chairs when side by side, with new cushions & padding. They look brand new.Cyndi is very easy to work with & supportive during fabric choice meltdowns. The price is very reasonable & Although they have a huge selection of fabric, they will work with your fabrics also.This is a well run family business that cares about their customers.

Wow! Cindy and team exceeded my expectations. We had a very time sensitive need to have a couch cushion repaired before hosting a baby shower. Berkeley Decor did an excellent job for me! I needed new drapes for large east-facing windows in my family room. I consulted with Mike, and he helped me achieve exactly the look I wanted. We get very bright sun through those windows in the morning, and he suggested adding shades in addition to drapes in order to provide better solar protection without having to constantly open and close the drapes, which was a great idea. We ended up with decorative drapes and functional shades. The wait time for custom drapes and shades was shorter than I expected, the price was right, and the installation crew was courteous and efficient. My family room looks fantastic and I have all the functionality I need. I would definitely use these guys again. Thanks to Mike and Berkeley Decor!

Went in last week to get some custom draperies done for my house. I was helped by a gentleman by the name of Mike Park. He asked me what budget I was working with and recommended some great ideas for me. They were delivered today and installed. They were more than I expected. Ive had Berkeley do several things for me, like a beautiful silk comforter with jeweled pillows, gorgeous dining room curtains with a cornice that has crown molding and a metal embellishment, guest bedroom curtains, recover a chair and now curtains for my breakfast nook. Each time its been fun to pick out the colors, fabrics and trims with their experts. They came to my house for precise measurements and everything has been perfect and is very elegant. Im a repeat customer for a reason. Their work is excellent and very timely. I plan to continue using them to complete the rest of the rooms of my home. I cant say enough about Erika and her wonderful customer service attitude. Cindy is a great designer and Roy is just as helpful as the rest. I have recommended them to many friends and are totally satisfied.

Erika was simply outstanding to work with! I had a very expensive leather sofa that needed the seat cushions and seat backs foam and batting replaced. Neither the seats or seat backs were removable so all the work was accomplished by going through the bottom of the couch. The work came out better than new! At the same time I had 6 original seat cushions from a 1920s Duncan Phyfe style chair set reupholstered with new foam and a beautiful fabric that Erika helped me find amongst the very numerous fabric choices they have. Again the work was superior to the original. The pickup and delivery teams (Arturo, Peter and Eric) were always on-time, courteous and professional, using and nice enclosed delivery van with the couch and seat cushions wrapped for protection. My thanks to the entire Berkeley Decor team, I will definitely used Berkeley Decor for future projects!

Never again! Poor service for extreamly expansive products and the guy installing my grand mothers window tratments had muddy shoes and clogged the guest toilet also left the entire room dusty and trash everywhere! Very unprofessional

I unfortunately did not have a positive experience with Berkeley; it has been incredibly disappointing. I have a sectional that is in great shape and decided it was worth reupholstering it. I worked with the Berkeley staff, who helped me choose the fabric. When the sectional arrived, I was very happy with the upholstery job; he/she did a great job (and it was a big job). Unfortunately, there were a couple small stains on the fabric and something about the fabric didnt feel right to the touch. I went in to address the issues and the question of whether the sectional had been upholstered on the wrong side of the fabric came up. That went from experienced staff stating yes, it was to owners coming back with no, it wasnt. They did offer to re-do the piece with the stains, but at that point I had lost faith in their follow through process. What if the dye lot was different, etc. What kind of support would I get? I choose to just keep it. THEN, within a couple weeks... the fabric started getting little pulls in it. The couch had barely been sat on. We brought in a cushion to show them. After analyzing the cushion, we were told there is nothing wrong,I spent over $2000 on this job, and now have a sectional that Im afraid to sit on. I wince if someone else goes to sit on it. Will it snag? Are they wearing jewelry? I did everything right... known upholstery store, their guidance in fabric choice, etc. And I now have a couch that will probably look 10 years old within months.
