We just stumbled upon this Resturant. We read the reviews and decided to give it a try. We enjoyed the food thoroughly and we could give them 10 Stars !! Customer Service was so good, server was so kind and explained everything. Clean and relaxed atmosphere. Food was fantastic, Basil and House friend rice was cooked to perfection. Summer spring roll with peanut sauce was just divine. We ended up ordering two containers to go of peanut sauce. We are SURELY coming back.
Update 8/27 - Had a really bad experience today. Drunken noodles were bad and taste was off. We pointed that out of the owner but she didn’t even do anything to make up for it.Amazing food. Quick service. Ambiance is peaceful. They were able to accommodate vegetarian/vegan options. Best Thai I’ve eaten so far in DFW.
This place is phenomenal!!! My husband and I loved it. The decor is so welcoming and pleasant to the eyes. Also for the times right now extremely clean, but not too clean where it smells like nothing but bleach. The smell when you enter is pleasent and they have tables that show the cleaner they use in a welcoming way along with a germx bottle. There is also a small sanitizer bottle on every table to use. There is a fountain that just adds to the relaxing atmosphere. The staff is extremely on point and fast while also being courteous.
I have been here numerous times over the past couple of months. Whenever family visits, they want to eat here. The food is excellently prepared and proportioned as expected. We typically share desserts and especially enjoy the mango with sticky rice.
Excellent food! All three, the Pad Thai, Pineapple curry and Basil Thai Salmon were remarkable! Service was impeccable, always keeping a reasonable distance. There was a bottle of foaming hand sanitizer on every table. And a lady, whom I assume to be the owner, apologized for the new health protocol which included leaving a water jug at the table. Overall, excellent. We will definitely go again!
Wish i can give 0 stars. Worst food ever. Ordered 4 to-go orders and none of them were tasty. Never imagined i would be charged $70 for food that was so horrible. I said spicy - it was 0 spicy. Chicken, rice was bad. I was charged for extra egg but there was no egg. I would NOT recommend this restaurant ever. Don’t waste money, rather eat at MC Donalds.
Weve eaten here often since moving to the area. Best Thai food I know around, no contest. The dishes are always cooked well and generous portions.
We had wonderful Friday dinner with friends. The food was awesome. The food we ordered are- red curry, vegetable spring rolls, Yellow curry and noodle soup and pad thai.. We all enjoyed the food, Delicious food ! Nice ambiance !!

Its not the first time weve been to this restaurant. Theres always a mixed experience with this restaurant. Yesterday they served a chicken dish that had only ONE piece of chicken! When I told our server, she stated the chef said that was impossible. I think that was a very disrespectful way of approaching a customer. We all are humans & make mistakes. The trick is to accept your mistake & make sure you do a better job the next time. When I spoke to the owner not once did she apologize & was not listening to my grievance. It was a very bad experience. Hopefully they will learn to be more respectful to customers.Edit: We DO NOT want your refund! What Im saying is her response when she said that was impossible! Please be gracious enough to accept your flaws to succeed! I will NOT recommend anyone to your restaurant because you are being arrogant instead of being humble!
I got the red curry, after reading the reviews. It was delicious! I’m no Thai expert so you so t hear any complaints about the authenticity or lack thereof. It amazes me how snobby some reviews can be, why does it have to be about that? Maybe it didn’t taste like the quaint little town you want everyone to know you’ve been to back in 2002? Was the dish edible? Did you enjoy the flavor, although different from what you expected? What was so good or bad about it?I most enjoyed the flavor of the curry in that it was spicy, I ordered a 2 and really glad I didn’t get a 3! I asked for no bamboo shoots because I don’t care for the texture. The bell peppers and egg plant were a nice touch, never had egg plant in my curry.The sampler was tasty, too! Pretty much all fried except for the spring roll and wonton, but they were tasty!
The food is always delicious. Service is great. A bonus is that all their servers wear masks during the pandemic and tables are spaced out to allow for social distancing. Love Mango Thai!

Peaceful place visited for the first time and loved it. Order the red curry with 3 scale spice . Came as expected and presentation of the dish is unique here which I have never seen before in other Thai restaurants. Also order house Thai fried rice and yeah and tastes good. Even had happy hours on buzz and selected food. If you love Thai food then it’s recommended place to enjoy.
I always go for pad kee mow noodles with egg because I don’t eat meat 😛. It’s the best and no where else I will ever find like this!
Extremely disappointed with the taste. Thai food is one our most favorite. We ordered pad Thai and pad ki maw from Mango Thai. pad Thai was way too sweet, didn’t even taste anything close what I have eaten before. Looks like I was fooled by the reviews. I am sure we will never order from here again!
Great service, small portion, tasteless food.Got some seafood meal that had little meat, more veggies and a lot of air.But it could be only me, as the restaurant had a decent amount of guests, which is always a good sign.
Mango Thais food is really rich with flavor. I thoroughly enjoy all of my meals whenever I come here.
Best chicken Pad Thai I have had along with their great summer rolls made an excellent lunch. I have always been told you can tell if a restaurant has good food by the quality of their tea. Well it must be true their mango tea was outstanding. A+ to the wait person for her service

Had an amazing experience here today! Looked for Thai in the area and checked the place out. We were seated and served right away. I ordered the Thai Tea, came in a daiquiri glass and we started with the summer rolls and the coconut soup. We loved both! Soup was perfect for the chilly day and the summer rolls were refreshing. I had the yellow curry with chicken with 2 for spice level, medium, it was spicy to me. I had to get extra rice, lol. The other girls got 2(pineapple curry) and 3 (pad thai) and they were good. Im a wimp! Order Fried Rice(#2spice), chicken skewers, and avacado egg rolls for my husband to go. He loved the rice, we both really enjoyed the skewers, sauce was amazing and it came with cucumber salad, and he loved the avacado rolls too. Our server was outstanding, he boxed our food for us and was very accommodating! We will be back!

Maybe it was an off night. I LOVE Thai food and have had some really authentic Thai food in the states. However, Mango Thai Cuisine really dropped the ball on the Tom Kha and the Pad Thai, two dishes that should be extraordinarily easy to prepare authentically if you are a real Thai food restaurant. I make Tom Kha regularly and the Tom Kha I received shares NO similarities to any Tom Kha I have ever had, all I tasted was SALT. Period. And, the Pad Thai, zero notes of tamarind, zero; not a real Pad Thai dish, it has that cheap orange sauce that is supposed to represent the complex flavors Pad Thai should have but wholly fails. I have Thai friends and KNOW what Thai food is supposed to taste like and Mango Thai did not deliver.I will say the dumplings were decent as was the dumpling sauce.I really wanted authentic Thai food and thought with so many positive ratings that I would have been in Thai heaven, unfortunately not.My authentic Thai food hunt continues in Texas. :/ Wish me luck. :)Response to the owner: Not authentic Pad Thai...sorry, but I KNOW the orange colored flavorings are fake and NOT AUTHENTIC. You can sell that lie to those that do not know, but I KNOW. In FACT, the Tom Kha was the worse Tom Kha I have ever had. You might want to rethink your apologies and honesty. IN FACT: I have ALL of the terrible you food you sent to my home, shall we have a professional chef taste your food for authenticity? I vote YES.
The atmosphere was excellent. The service was great. The food was meh. Ordered edamame and drunken noodles (Pad Keep Mao). The edamame needed salt and the noodle dish had very little flavor. The overall, they have some decent happy hour specials, the menu has a good variety of dishes, and the place is reasonably priced.

The food was delicious and professionally prepared. Pricing per dish with was reasonable. Staff was very nice, but the tipping prices was outrageous.
The amount of food you get for their low price is incredible. Also, the quality of the food and service is spectacular. The manager is so sweet as she greets each person and says goodbye. Love coming here, my date and I had a wonderful time!
The food was good, but the service was slow and lack luster. There were two males and one girl taking orders on the phone and waiting tables and they were very disorganized. They were a hot mess. The usual wait staff and owner were not there, maybe because of the holiday.

Worst Thai food experience EVER!We ordered Tom Kha Soup, Pepper Garlic & Pineapple Curry, and they all tasted and smelled like Seafood/shellfish, which Im allergic to. It caused me to have a minor allergic reaction.The packaging is HORRIBLE. Everything leaked and their plastic utensils are CHEAP and flimsy!I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone who is allergic to or dislikes shellfish/seafood. Regardless of what you order, your food will taste and smell like seafood!
This place is great! It’s clean and the food is amazing. I came here very often with my family and the staff is always great and friendly. Their menu is great every time I go I order something different and they never disappoint. Their drinks are pretty good too. Overall it is a great experience every time.
This is one of the famous Thai restaurants. They have a good variety of options in vegetarian food. The restaurant is maintained very neatly. Few staffs are quite rude, the day I was at the restaurant for dine-in, they had around 15mins for closing. There were few ladies who were there for dinner and finished their meal. One of the staffs went to them and asked them to leave, while we were still having food. They could have let them be there until the actual closing time. Customers should be treated right. 5 stars for food, 4 stars for the staffs.

Citrus beef was exquisite, and I enjoyed the edamame, though I do not really like soy beans. The service was efficient and there was more than plenty in the servings. I will go again.
I ordered Pad noodles and yellow curry. Both were delicious. Spice level was more even 2 was spicy for me where I can eat spice level 3 at other place. But the food was really great. Meat was well cooked and not chewy, I had pork and chicken both were good.Price is slightly on higher side.I would recommend this place to everyone. Should give a shot.
The wife and I are always on the lookout for southeast Asian cuisine. We found this place and were delighted with the friendliness of the staff and the good offers they had. We both enjoyed the food we ordered. Whenever I go to a Thai restuarant, I always have to try the Pad Thai, it a Thai restaurant cannot get that right not worth going back. I will say there Pad Thai was pretty good. I got spoiled when I was in the Phililpines, as there were very very good Thai restaurants there. All in all I would recommend this place to anyone looking for some Thai food to enjoy.

The service was very good and they were very welcoming. The decor is kinda warm and the music played is definitely more suited for a date, but that doesnt mean you cant bring your friends. If you are in the area for a movie I definitely recommend coming here to eat before or after the movie. They have a good selection of food ranging from soup noodle to fried rice. I got the Pad see ew level 4 spice, but it wasnt very spicy or it might be because my spice tolerance is higher now. They have chili paste or flakes if you want to up the heat, so no big deal. The portion for the price is not bad. The owner/manager was very nice she explained to us why the pens had fake flowers attached to them it was pretty funny.
Very pedestrian food. Lazy kitchen or cook about to end her shift. Peanut sauce on everything inc the packaged iceberg lettuce salad. Broccoli florets thrown on top of unseasoned chicken medallions topped off with more peanut sauce. Asked for 3/5 heat and kitchen paid no attention. Wont return
Worst Thai food ever! Ordered the cashew “chicken” but it didn’t look or taste like chicken. We were left wondering exactly what kind of meat it was. We ended up throwing it in the trash. Also ordered the pineapple fried rice which was completely soggy and overcooked. This food was obviously haphazardly thrown together. I even ended up with a stomach ache a few hours after eating. Please save your money and go somewhere else.

Got the red curry, heat level 3 and mango rice it was pretty good! My boyfriend got heat level 4 for his pineapple curry, it was too hot because hes not familiar with tasty Thai heat but he still ate it all. Great food and great service!

Tasty food with right amount of spice (you chose the level). Servers are polite and professional. Even gave a language lesson when asked how to say thank you in Thai. My second visit and will come back for flank steak with sticky rice and fresh green salad.

My Bride went the day before with her cousin & insisted I give the restaurant a try. I loved it and will be back. Our food was delicious and priced well. Professional and courteous service, with a clean, & socially distanced environment.
My friend and I both got Tom Kha and it was very good. My only complaints would be that the soup wasn’t as creamy as I had hoped, but the flavor made up for that; and the we came in around 2:50 and the waiter came around 2:59 for our order and didn’t give us the lunch special which ends at 3pm. That was pretty disappointing. Lastly, the food was also a little expensive in comparison with my preferred Thai place, where the Large Tom Kha is $6 whereas here it was $9.
The glass noodle salad made me feel like I was in Thailand for a few bites. The shrimp Pad Thai was delightful, and they did not skimp on the spicy.

Ordered Fried rice and pad thai noodles extra spicy. Fried rice was very good but pad thai noodles was too much gravy. Fried rice was awesome so we will order from here regularly just without pad thai

This restaurant is unbelievable. They have a 6 pieces summer roll but in reality it is just 2 summer rolls cut in 3 pieces each! And I paid $7 Hahahahaha. Omg what a joke. Never buying from here again, and nope, it is not about the portion it is about the misleading offer. If your menu shows summer roll (6) and for the price; I am going to think it is going to be 6 summer rolls, not 2 rolls cut into 3 pieces each. Your menu is misleading.

I ordered take out yesterday from this restaurant. This was my first time here. Ordered chicken fried rice and chicken pad thai. I am great lover of thai food but this was the worst ever thai food I had. I am wondering how they are rated above 4. Seriously misleading. I think I will never again decide a restaurant based on online reviews. I will rather believe personal experiences or word of mouth.

Big portions, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Made me feel like I was in Thailand.Food is fresh made and very tasty. Restaurants come and go in the area and Mango’s stays in business. Not sure what I ordered (Thai something noodles) but there’s something for everyone: seafood, pork, chicken, vegetarian etc. It was a pleasant experience despite the tantrum my 4 year old threw because he didn’t want chicken in his huge kids fried rice portion.5 stars!
We simply love this place and keep going back. It is a very cosy place, super clean, every table has hand sanitizer, the staff is sooo friendly. They greet my two boys cheerfully.We love the mango thai appetizer sampler because we love all of them :) in general all the curries, noodles and rice dishes are yummy! Highly recommend!
