Tried curbside pickup on a busy Saturday. Called, it went to voicemail, so texted them. They replied back. Had to wait for 5 mins, and they delivered. Online options were good.

We have been going here for YEARS. Bonnie is the only person I trust to cut and perm my hair and cut my sons hair. The front desk staff is always super friendly and helpful. I love the precautions they are taking for the pandemic. Everyone is wearing masks, clients too, and they are wiping everything down after use to ensure our safety.

Was driving through and needed a pair of jeans. Im not from the area so I was surprised to see that JCPenneys is the only store in the dilapidated mall. Everything else is closed. The store has a nice selection. It was clean. However, the store seems to be functioning with a skeleton crew. No one was around for help and I only saw one check out area open in the whole store. That being said it didnt hinder me from finding what I needed and I am happy with my purchase.

Its going out of business so not much of an issue for long, but this isnt really a JC Pennys location as was explained to us. It is now owned by the company in charge of the closing. What happened to us is we found clothes we liked online and decided to go to this store for old times sake since were regular shoppers and were sad to see it go. We tried on the clothes to get the right size and went to check out. It was near closing time at this point, so there was a rush to get us out the door. We didnt realize until got in the car that the prices didnt match what we expected to pay based on what we saw online. We went back in the next morning and were told that this location is not JC Pennys and doesnt honor the advertised price. Since they are going out of business there are no refunds or exchanges. Basically we got screwed out of $100. There are lots of signs everywhere about sales are final, but it didnt occur to us to double check that much, particularly since if anything youd expect a going out of business sale to be cheaper than what you can normally get. Basically, just be warned that it is likely the same price or likely cheaper to shop at a different location; the whole thing felt a bit dirty to us.

Used to love the store. It is now closed permanently so dont waste time driving here. It shows hours as if still open. I made this mistake today.

Great Customer Service at the Collin Creek location. This store is not as congested as the Town East and Rockwall locations which makes for a more relaxed shopping experience. We found everything we were looking for and more! Great coupons and deep discounts on Final Clearance. We will return to this location.

Penneys has definitely changed as a result of Covid 19. Very few people in the store, so extra quiet. Several dressing rooms were closed so you might have to search for an open one. However, all employees there that I encountered were so very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Im happy to say customer service remains a priority.

We have been shopping here for decades and like any retail outlet you will have good, bad or just okay experiences. When the property owners decided to demolish the mall but KEEP JCPenney we were happy. But sad to say when we went earlier this week we found out that the property owners decided not to have JCPenney part of the new plans. This location is the best one in the area. Far better selection and store layout than the others.We are sad to see this store closing.James Cash Penney is rolling over in his grave.

Clean and organized. Several entrances. Very nice employees, but a few that have helped me could use a bit more training. Layout is nice and its easy to find what you need. Big and tall section is rather large and had a nice selection. Prices are a bit high in my opinion.

This particular location is closing on November 15th. Its the JCPenney at the old Collin Creek Mall. So they have everything discounted at least 40% off, but theres also a lot marked down either 50%, 60%, or even 75% off. Everyone should go by and take a look because theres quite a bit left.

Dont waist your money at their SALON!! This was by far the worst experience I have ever had from beginning to end. I have curly hair with highlights and because of it my hair is very dry. To ease on the dryness I get deep conditioning twice a month, but yesterday my JCPenney stylist from Allen was booked for the entire day so I scheduled an appointment in Plano, I figured I could get the same quality job at any given JCPenney salon.... WRONG!! The receptionist that booked my appointment was Laura. I scheduled a 4:00 p.m appointment, but since I was running late at 3:45 I called back to reschedule for 5 p.m. Laura was really rude about it. She put me on hold for the longest time and told me that she will book my appointment with a master stylist her name is Tina and that my appointment is for 5 p.m. not 5:10 not 5:15, five p.m. on the dot. Nothing screams costumer serve like her rude demeanor. When I arrived at my 5 pm on the dot...appointment..... Laura told me that she would page Tina and she would be right with me. I took that opportunity to look around their shampoos since I was already low on my Redken. I took a picture of the different type of shampoos and suddenly I hear Laura screaming my name, I turned around and she tells me Tina is been looking for you before I even open my mouth she turns around and tells another coworkerno wonder she couldnt hear me she was taking selfies As soon as I heard that I snapped at her..I asked her what her problem was with me taking pictures and she node her head and told me that she was not talking to me.....RIGHT????? At this point I am irritated. I meet Tina and my terrible experience only intensifies. I could tell that Tina was mad and annoyed to have me and she wanted to get rid of me fast. She shampooed my hair, she then went to her supply room and came back with both hands filled with a white Gooey paste...she didnt even bother putting it in a container!!. She applied it on my hair and directed me to the dryers. As we walk towards the dryer I asked her what she put on my hair, because the paste did not smell nor looked like the product my other stylist usually applies. That really annoyed her because she turned around and told me well thats all I have and you only need a little bit for it to work ...and she walked away. I waited 15 minutes in the dryer and after she rinsed my hair she gave me a towel and told me I was done. I asked her if I could borrow a brush so I could brush my hair and she gave me the brush.... I guess my $15 tap did NOT include brushing my hair, because that would be pushing it!!! At this point I never want to do business with any other salon but the one in Allen!!!!

Came in as a customer at jcp went to the jcp optical. I spoke with a lady named Brenda. She was able to answer all my questions. She was super thorough with her replies. I was very happy with her excellent customer service. If u are looking to buy contacts or glasses this is the place to go.

This service turned out to he pretty convenient! I was in and out with what I wanted in about 10 minutes.I didnt have the hassle of searching for the size I wanted - the picker did that for me. And I browsed in the bedding section on my way out. Nice.

JCPENNEY has lots of good deals right now/ With Sales. My glasses broke while shopping this past week. Walked into Jcpenney optical and Spoke with a Brenda she right away asked how could she help me? She was VERY HELPFUL? A Big Plus!!! She Fixed my glasses. Im purchasing my next pair from her. I was Very Happy with her customer service. A FIVE STAR RATING if I could give higher I would. This is the closest Jcpenney store to my house so I come here most of the time. Every time I shop at this location, the associates are very helpful. But one associate is exceptional, her name is Brittany she works with Sephora inside Jcpenney she takes her time to help me every time I go into Sephora. Today she used the app on her phone to show me what shades of lipstick I was interested in and what it will look like on me. I think Sephora should keep associates like Brittany that treat customers right and makes them want to return to the store. Thanks Brittany.

I love jc penney. However, their current service during this COVID19 debacle has turned me cold towards them. No service. No dressing rooms. Limited options. If they are going to open, then open. This restricted opening does nothing for your customers. People who are savvy and bold enough to continue to use brick and mortar stores want the convenience and service they are accustomed to, not this socialist specter.I left and ordered from Amazon, a company I hate but which provides their best service. Very sad.

Not pleased. Went there because they advertised a big sale because they were covid 19 strapped. We get there, and find easy over priced items on ALL ther merchandise we personally checked out. Appears that they either introduced the merchandise then or it on sale or they actually had extremely high prices on everything to begin with, and they THINK this is a sale.Example one; Vans jacket on sale for $47 on sale claiming it was an $80 jacket. Regular price online and other stores/sites is $45.8 piece pan set at another store was regular priced at $129.99, JCPennys supposed sale price was $200. Found many other items just liked this. Very disappointing. No wonder theyre not making it.

My favorite store of em all. I always find great discounts on clothing and accessories. I like their nice availability and collection for women with curves, as they actually carry pants with curvy fit. They also have nice clothes for kids and men. They have a salon at the back with diverse hair stylists.

Holding on as the last anchor store at Collin Creek Mall, this location still appears to be in full force. It is likely a matter of time before the entire mall shuts down with so few remaining shops. I hope JCP returns with a fresh strength when the site is revitalized. The location is convenient and their line of products has maintained quality for years.

My family has been shopping here since I was a kid, but I havent been here in a few years now. This store was very well stocked, clean, and organized. I had just landed a new job and was looking for some new outfits and comfy but pretty work shoes. It was easy to find slacks in my size and style (that moment when you realize your diet has been working and you actually fit into the smaller size!). The lady in the shoe department was also so sweet and friendly. She offered to check for more sizes and styles even though it looks very self service, but this made me feel like my business was appreciated. What brings my rating down was the jewelry department. I was looking for a replacement gold chain for my moms locket. I wanted solid gold, not gold plated, because she wears it 24/7 and it belonged to her mother. The lady acted like I could not afford anything but costume jewelry and would not even take anything out of the case for me. She then ignored me and I drifted away from her counter. This was so rude, and strangely awkward and embarrassing for me even though I had done nothing wrong. I expect this pretentiousness in Frisco, but not my old teenage stomping grounds of Collin Creek, which is exactly why I come to Plano instead. The experience left me kind of depressed and missing this malls glory days.

The woman who waited on me to pick up my online purchases was so short speaking to me that it bordered on being rude. Especially noticeable since the male employee waiting on the person next to me was so nice and polite. He explained to his customer that the store will stay open in that location until construction on their new store was completed. Then theyll move.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The sale’s associate who assisted me with my transaction was awesome. He actually helped me bring my bags to the car. I can’t remember anyone doing this at a department store. The store was nice and clean and well organized. I will add though the bathrooms were not clean and the water is very hot. Overall it was a great experience, and will shop from here in the future.

I recently was visiting friends in Dallas and needed desperately to have my hair done! Many years ago I lived in Plano and would always go to JCPenney Salon and always had a good experience. I was hesitant but when I stopped in to make the appointment, they were very professional and informative. So I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. My appointment was 12/3/17 at 11:30am with Courtney! She was GREAT. She listened to my concerns and exactly what I wanted. She took great care and went above and beyond making sure that I was happy with everything she was doing! Not to mention she was very pleasant and professional. She gave great advice on products that would help me achieve the look I wanted at home also. Loved her and the salon! Thank you Courtney :-)To Management - this type of service needs to be communicated to the JcPenney in Colorado Springs. They dont listen and try to make you take services that you dont want because it is policy if you have a master stylist. I havent been there in 2 years now because of their service.

Good sales going on since the store is closing

Spent a couple hundred dollars in mens wear and we got some good deals. Went upstairs to womens wear and met the rudest cashier Ive seen in years upon checkout. Made a complaint to her manager and left the store without completing our intended purchases. Never give your hard earned money to stores that allow employees to act this way.

Somehow they manage to maintain a semblance of their glory days. While outside the store the Collin Creek Mall is like a deserted city in some dystopian film. Yet inside the light is bright the merchandise is attractive with respected brand names and customers are buying. Another visage of the old days though is not nearly enough employees on the floor.

It was convenient getting in and out of the store. Areas were clearly marked. Service was fast.

Great place to shop. I had a great experience yesterday when I had to return shoes without my receipt. The manager was such a great help. He found my receipt and gave me back my money. He was very pleasant and understanding

The store had very little I was looking for and what I could find I had to order online. The floor crew was good except the few focused on chatting with friends. What they do have is still worth buying despite the deceptive sales practices with the discounts which rarely change. I spoke with an employee and they said its to make the customer feel good about getting a bargain. My preference would be treat us with a bit more respect rather than tricky tactics.

I go the salon and get my hair done by Dorkas. My hair looks and feels great every time! I live no where close to this mall, but I make the drive for her service!

Good sales, found some really cute things on sale when I went on a cruise last year. They also have a lot of selections for men. Took my 98 year old grandfather here and got him pants, shirts, and shoes, most of it on sale.

This is the only location that I go to, but their prices are pretty good and they usually have a lot of sales. I can definitely tell you that if youre looking for dress shirts like Van Heusen, youre in luck because they have them for 50% off. I also buy a lot of t-shirts here and theyre also at least 20% off. Definitely a great selection.

Ordered online for in store pick up. Same day. Its on the first floor in housewares. Order was ready. Staff was helpful and professional. The store is well kept.

You can always find great prices at this JCPenney location. There seems to be an increase in the stock in the ladies clothes too. There are so many areas full of womens, girls and misses clothing! I never fail to see a sale of fashionable, and yet, seasonal clothes. Theyve even added shopping carts near their 60 - 80% off sales racks.

Another good shopping experience dor Christmas.I went for myself for a gift card I received for my bday and Christmas shopping dor family. Am glad tjr location in E Plano I still open and is plannes on being part of the new development. Didnt spend as much this year but that was not a reflection of the store but my own personal restriction.I was disappointed in the severe lack of options for young or teen girls sweaters or tops. Regardless of sale items or regular price, they were extremely limited on choices available.

This is still open after the late collin creek mall closed due to redevelopment for right now its a detached building. Its open but you come in on the store side the mall side of the store is barricaded. Remember to come in on the outside part of jcp.
