Firstly, I am so extremely angry that this would happen. I went to this place 2 days ago. I was trying to replace my current wig because I was going to a party and I was also going to be filming soon and wanted something my director will be happy with.The wigv that I saw on the display mannequin head was wavy and long with defined waves, fresh and new. That is what I had hoped to purchase. Unfortunately, there was only one wig in my color, which was fine. They said I got the last one. But they never indicated that it was used or had been a display wig. Ive surmised that it was because the hair unit that I pulled out of the package Id purchased at full price was not the same fresh and brand new wig that was even on the mannequin in the store. I could not believe it!!The wig cost me $50! I rarely pay that much for a synthetic unit. When I took it out of the package after getting home, I noticed that it was not attached to anything which is really strange because most of the time a brand new wig is attached at the scalp base to the cardboard that surrounds it and then you have to go through the motions of detaching the wig and taking all of the tags off. There was one tag on the way, which would have been left on from a display mannequin head. Everything else was off of the wig and it was obviously in bad condition.There were no defined waves, the wig was extremely tangled and uncombed. It looked like someone had been wearing it for at least several months!! I was crushed because my event was that night and because I needed the wig for filming. I am a film and stage actress in the DFW area, a vlogger and influencer, so my hair has to look put together. And I am a newly single mom, so I dont have the extra funds to purchase a wig only to have to turn around and purchase another one from another beauty supplier. This beauty supplier had a non refund/return policy. Who does that to someone??This establishment has no credibility, no integrity, and I would seriously consider other sources for your beauty needs instead of this location. You may just be buying a used wig without knowing it. 😞

I’ve been here a few time and when I’m looking for things behind the counter the ladies are in a rush to go somewhere or something. They ask if you need help and when you want to look at wigs or hair they rush you. Need more customer service experience.

The guy who checked me out was nice and patient. Had I was not been in a hurry to get to appointment, I would have looked around more. Very organized. Will go back again

This is a well stocked beauty supply store. Covid-19 safety precautions are in place as they provide gloves and sanitizer when everyone the store. You can order much find everything you need. Process are comparable to other beauty supply stores. The staff seems friendly. The jewelry aisle earrings are a little blah.

Dont sleep on this shop, i have driven by more times than id like to admit and im so glad i finally stopped by. They have so much variety, so many great items and the prices are fair. Its also convenient that you can get everything you need in one place. Great customer service, very clean, facemask required and gloves provided for shopping. Excellent experience despite being in a pandemic but also wonderful opportunity to shop and treat yourself to some good self care. Will definitely return.

They have always had a huge selection which is even better now that theyve expanded. Not big on online shopping for hair/haircare products, so its great that I can usually find what Im looking for or similar products that I can use.

Got a wig for a reasonable price. Due to covid, could not try on . Thankfully the wig fit good. $39.00. Good enough till my hair grows back when I finish chemo.

What a great beauty supply!It’s very clean, bright, and organized.The staff is respectful and knowledgeable.They carry everything: new school products like Design Essentials and Camille Rose and old school products like Sulfur 8 and Magic Grease. They even have an aisle of travel sized hair products. They have a massive wig selection, too— including yaki and afro textured straight and curly (which is rare).I live out of town, but I always come to this beauty supply because it has EVERYTHING, the prices are affordable, and the staff is kind to everyone. 😊👍🏿

Great place to get hard to find shampoos at good prices. I also shop there for some of my clipper supplies since I work as a dog groomer. Covid wise, they require everyone to wear masks and gloves and provide free disposable gloves. They also have distancing reminder signage in various positions places.

I bought a display wig this past weekend because it was the only one available. I took it home and tried it on turns out I don’t like the color so I call ahead of time (because I have to travel 40 mins to get to this store) to ask if they do exchanges on wigs. The person on the phone tells me yes. I drive the 40 mins to the hair store and I’m told all wigs are final sale after I just had a conversation on the phone verifying the wig was exchangeable. They stare at me while I browse the other wigs as if I might steal something. Terrible customer service.

Huge store, decent prices.

They sell wigs that you can get much cheaper online so, ladies start googling the name of the wig if you dont need it right then and there please order online! dont give them your money because their selling lace front, full lace and even synthetic wigs twice the price in their store versus online its a rip off!!!

Personally, I never shopped at this store in the past because others complained of rude behavior from staff. I dont believe in spending money where good customer service is lacking, but I had an event to attend and couldnt find the hair spray I needed; therefore, I tried it for myself. I purchased the product, but was not able to use it due to tube being damaged or clogged. When I returned it to store and respectfully explained why, the man behind the counter rudely informed me it had been used and they didnt refund or exchange. I inquired on expiration of product since there was no stamp. His response, It doesnt have an expiration. Manager/Owner was very rude. I bought a small btl and a large btl for refills of the same product. After using the small btl I noticed it was nothing like the same btl I had bought many times before from reputable stores. Not only was it different in feel it was a different color. Also the btl was old and cracked not from dropping but just dispensing it. I brought him the used small btl back and showed him the color difference and the cracking. And also brought the large btl back that I hadn’t even touched. I asked to exchange the large btl for a new one and not one that looked old. He refused to return anything. Just kept shaking his hands speaking broken english saying no no no over and over again. Seemed very shady when I walked in. Should’ve know better. Highly recommend you find a location that doesn’t seem shady. Had to throw the large bottle away because I don’t know what I was putting in my hair.

Even though they are currently remodeling the front face of the building theres still so much business going on, so many different kinds of people come in and get their products. And to be quite Frank after the remodeling is done Im sure they would get times two of the profits because just of the product himself and the appearance of the business. If I ever get asked to purchase good quality cosmetic products I would definitely say gold 7 Beauty Supply.

I wear clip in human hair extensions on the hunt for a new set. usually buy mine at Sallys Beauty Supply for the past eight to nine years I wanted to see what else was out there. My hair colorist said that her clients go to Gold 7 and to check it out for or extensions. Oh my goodness! Hair, wall to wall and all kinds of Beauty products also! Its like a One-Stop shop. but I will write another review once I go back to get my hair extensions because I will spend more time in the store. Dont call them for pricing they will not give it to you over the phone. Im thinking maybe because they will let you barter with them on price? I wear clip in human hair extensions. I usually buy my hair extensions at Sallys Ive been happy with the product from there but I wanted to see what else was out there. At Sallys you cannot look inside the packaging you just have the little swatches to use your best judgement. Gold 7 they open the box for you so if you want you can feel it or hold it up to your own hair four color match. Like at Sallys in most places I would imagine no returns on the hair which makes sense. Im thinking maybe they dont give you pricing over the phone because they will let you barter with them a little. If the most part their prices are competitive with the other places that I know of and the quality seems to be about the same like I said I did not buy the hair extensions when I was there I bought a synthetic clip in wefts and lets face it synthetic hair is what it is and I dont know how to take care and lets face it synthetic hair is what it is and its also my first time purchasing synthetic hair. but I will be going back for the human hair.

Been a loyal customer for quite some time until tonight. Purchased the wrong hair and was not allowed to exchange because it was on sale. I am perfectly fine with the policy, but what was disappointing is my mother bought the same hair and was able to exchange hers the night before with no issue. Disappointing that they made an exception for one person and not the other.

The Plano location has anything you will need and the prices arent bad. The customer service is good, you are allowed to browse and shop without being harassed or watched like a hawk. Probably why I always end up spending way more than I intended.

Very big and spacious! Large selection of hair and products. I love the big selection of ponytails and colors. I also like the few items of clothing. I take my mother to this location often for wigs so our faces are familiar. One night we were in the store late and I purchased a ponytail realized it was the wrong color. I took it back the very next morning when the store opened hoping he will bend the no return policy and he didn’t ! The manager was very stern and said no returns! I ask him don’t you remember me and my mom from last night and we are frequent customers he said yes. I also stated the hair is new and in package I just need to exchange for correct color and he said NO!I couldn’t believe it!I’m a business owner and this is the exact reason I don’t go to Asian Beauty Supply’sSome rules are meant to be broken especially for a regular customer! Don’t waste your time and money with the worst service!!! I talked to one guy, Keven, about getting a discount if I shop more than 2K. He was ya sure, I’ll give a good discount. The more u get the more discount u will get. When i was n the cashier with order of $2130, Keven gave me just %5!!! Then, i asked him about the discount he promised if i get lots of things!!! He was ok next time I’ll give better deal!!! I canceled everything and left without getting anything. This guy, Keven, will kill this business if he’s still in the store. Also, he’s so rude and doesn’t know how to talk to people.

This is by far one of my favorite beauty supply store. Im always greeted and they usual have everything that I need. Someone always greet and help me...I wouldve given them 5 stars but they lack at consideration for people. The store closing hour states 8pm. Yet they have someone standing at the door 10 minutes prior and lock people out before the closing time. If thats the case they should change the closing time. I drive all the way from frisco and have cut it close.

We drove an hour to get to this store and my mother asked for a different color of a particular brand of hair she was interested in mind you we shopped here often and spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars here. the lady was giving her a attitude for some reason and my mom was only feeling the texture of the hair and the lady up front almost snatched the hair out of her hand! We went there to buy hair for the both of us that wouldve been over two hundred dollars. But we will NEVER EVER EVER shop here again, they follow you around like you are going to steal. We didnt even carry our purses in the store we just had a wallet and im just wondering if we stole the hair where would we hide it at??? From the way she was looking at my mother and I, and I also think they FORGET that the only reason that their business is growing and their employees are getting paid IS BECAUSE OF COLORED PEOPLE and AFRICAN AMERICANS. NEVER AGAIN this was it, they lost a loyal customer today 2/26/2020.

They have every hair care line under the sun. I was highly impressed when I first moved to the area and found them. That was four years ago and Ive been a loyal customer since. The store is always well stocked, clean, and not too overpriced.

Massive beauty supply store! A lot of variety from weave, wigs, purses, lashes, etc. The only downfall is that I witnessed bad customer service were they would not refund a customer who had a receipt that purchased hair for a wedding. The store should at least offer an in store credit... Therefore, I decided to take my business elsewhere!
