We had a great experience at Sewell BMW of Plano. Our sales person was Pedro Gutierrez. He was very helpful, informative and quick. This was our fastest car purchase because he answered all our questions very well and also helped us on calls and texts. We told them we are buying the car for my birthday and they made sure that there was no delay and we were handed over the keys in a fast and smooth process. The administration and paper work was also explained easily and clearly. Highly recommend this place if you are buying a BMW in the DFW area.

Great experience every time we’re here; clean facilities, nice room and amenities for customers to wait for their car to get serviced. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Never, ever have your car serviced here. There are far more competent options in the metroplex.My two year old BMW was towed here after not starting suddenly. They had my car for 3 days and ultimately said nothing was wrong, and I picked it up.Four days later my car would not start again, and I was left stranded. Again. I called them to let them know and again had my car towed there. What a mistake.They had my car for three days before I received an update that my battery was dead. That’s quite some time to come to such a simple conclusion. I expressed a concern about this diagnosis because the battery was only a year old and at the time the car would not start the radio and a/c were running. Not a dead battery. The service advisor said that they would order a new battery as that was the only problem they could find and that once a new battery was installed they would be able to further diagnose any other issues.A week went by of my car being there for a “dead battery.” Finally I asked to speak to the service manager about my concerns as I was getting no answers from the service advisor other than that they were waiting for a battery.The next day, I received a call from the service manager who said that the starter was not working. He said the part would be ordered and I would be updated when it arrived. So we waited over a week for a battery to arrive and now we were waiting on another part. Frustrating considering I had expressed a concern from the first day that it was NOT the battery.A second week goes by, and I have heard nothing from them. I ask for an update and am told they are still waiting on a starter to arrive.They have now had my car for 15 days (18 days including the first time).I called another BMW service department to ask if they have a starter for my model of car. They are able to tell me more than Classic ever bothered to. They offered an EXACT date that the part would arrive. The part was not in any kind of shortage or back order despite the fact that this entire time Classic has blamed “the times” for prolonged waiting for a part (mind you they wasted a week waiting for a battery).I’m eager to get my (relatively new) car back and in working order for good. We’ll see how much longer that’s going to take Classic to figure out.Long story short, unless you want to be without your vehicle for a remarkable amount of time, keep on driving on to the next service department. I’m not sure if these guys have any idea what they are doing.
I stopped by just to take a glance and see if there was anything interesting. I had driven my previous vehicle, GMC DENALI, and owned it for 14 years! Really wasn’t sure if I wanted a car or if I wanted to buy or lease. Jacob C to the rescue! We took a look and narrowed down to two cars I wanted to test drive. Jacob had patience and took the time to give an overview of the vehicles and walk me through the BMW leasing experience. I have leased and purchased vehicles from Classic BMW and it has always been a pleasant experience. The main reason for the pleasant experiences is due to the excellent customer service received from Client Advisor, Douglas Robbins. He is extremely knowledgeable with the BMW product and ALWAYS goes above and beyond to meet the needs of his clients. When I send Douglas an email, it is promptly answered. If I need anything, consider it done. Douglas is the reason that I choose to do business with Classic BMW. The BMW brand may be known as the Ultimate Driving Machine, but if you want the Ultimate Buying Experience, be sure to ask for Douglas Robbins.
My first visit since the new owners took over. The service department was exceptional; even better than before. The new GM walked up and down the line introducing himself to all his new customers. Ron Williamson was great and everyone was super friendly and “client centered”. Very impressed! Now I understand the “Sewell” difference.
Honestly, its a great service location and about the only one in the area that has full service. Im tried of having to go back for one little thing or another. My BMW has been in their possession more in this summer than in mine. Cody Garcia is a great service advisor, knowledgeable and great in communication. If you have to speak to service director, youll likely speak to the shop foreman as well. Its a little disheartening when the shop foreman says well, youve got to look at the years and mileage on your vehicle, as though thats an explanation why technicians leave coolant all over the engine compartment. For everything that can, and often seems to go wrong, theyll make it right. I hope you dont have to deal with Jasmine at Enterprise. She put me in the dirtiest car (inside & out) despite the available inventory. She wasnt courteous or friendly which I get every time I get a loaner (which again has been almost weekly this summer). When theyre the last spoonful you take before leaving your car in somewhat capable hands, it puts a bad taste in your mouth. Thats Enterprise though & 1 employee. Generally, everything is smooth...until you have to return 24-48 hrs later for the same problem or a problem closely related to why you were there originally.
I have been using this BMW Service location for about a year now and it is usually a hit or miss in terms of the service from the employees. But this particular gentleman, Nathan, was professional, kind and efficient the moment I pulled into the service lane. When I had first initially called before arriving they let me know that I would need to go to the parts department to get my key battery replaced-but Nathan took the time to check for my warranty coverage so that I would not have to pay and go through the trouble. While I waited he went ahead and replaced it right away for me, as well. He was quick and extremely helpful. Usually I will get a service employee who will sit around and not keep me updated while I wait in the waiting room, and I would usually have to go find them to ask for any updates if it’s been awhile. But Nathan would periodically check back with me with the updates and it was a very short and sweet visit all around. An amazing employee, and one that should be heavily valued in terms of attitude and efficiency! Haven’t had an experience like that in the service department in a while! Thank you, Nathan! :)

I highly appreciate Traceys efforts and for keeping me updated throughout the process. I understand that sometimes, a problem can arise. The only thing I expect as a customer when service issues are happening is to be informed and be given realistic expectations.Original Post: After 3 phone calls to this dealer to ask for my BMW IX reservation refund. I was informed that it will be processed and I should expect it within 7-10 days. We are now on the 10th day and no refund from this dealer. Not great customer experience at all from this dealer and please process my refund.
Absolutely the worst service ever. First our brand new M340 was was hit by one of their golf carts. (This happened in June when it was still Classic). Approximately 4 weeks after it was repaired, the instrument panel cluster went out. It required a new unit. There were none in the US so it had to be shipped from Germany. The first service advisor we had was Cody Garcia, who made rude comments when we asked him to keep us informed. He transferred us to John Sojdei because he didn’t want “a bad survey”. We have called the dealership. WE have driven to the dealership to try and get updates on our car. They have had it since September 9, 2021. We have now found out from someone who is NOT in the service dept that they ordered the wrong part. The correct part was on backorder, but became available approximately 2 weeks ago. All we have asked for this whole time is to be KEPT INFORMED. We have heard nothing. We went to the dealership to get information on Oct 12,2021 because no one was communicating or returning our calls. John shock our hands and promised to keep us informed. I’m not one to complain much less write a review, but I am totally disgusted. After we get our car back, I will never walk back through the doorway of Sewell BMW of Plano. This has been a horrible experience. We got the car the first week in May and have hardly been able to drive it. Avoid this s*** show of a dealership at all cost. If I could only give negative stars.
Service Dept was professional and expedient in resolving the issue with my sensors and why they were not working. Explanation was right on as to what may have caused them not working. Issue resolved and sensor fixed. Matt was polite and understanding and professional. Glad great folks are taking care of my vehicle.
I recently had the good fortune of being introduced to Robin McCormick of Classic BMW in Plano by a neighbor of ours. Robin was fantastic to work with, answered all of my questions, and was able to get my 2022 X3 M40i ordered and delivered in record time. When it came time to settle-up, he worked to get me the best price for my trade-in and made the entire closing a painless process. Were very happy with the new car and strongly recommend that those looking to buy a new BMW contact Robin.
Initially stopped by to test drive a CPO M2 Competition and loved it, but the market on used cars was ridiculous. I talked to John Brunson, who set up my test drive, and asked him to find an allocation for a new one (which according to forums seemed impossible). Though with a little luck and persistence, John managed to get me an allocation and just over three months later I had one of the last 2021 M2C in my hands. He provided weekly updates on the build status and helped me get a very clean PPF application and window tint done before I even picked up my car. Awesome experience
I hooked up and aftermarket amp and sub a blew something.Call them, Nathan was awesome he helped me out for my car in fixed in be 2 days. Customer service was great also
So glad you bought Classic out. I bought my BMW at Sewell but had to service my car at Classic due to location but now Sewell is large and in charge. I’m a customer for life. 2nd or 3rd Sewell vehicle. I hope you’re getting rid of the “museum” cars in the showroom and adding cars that us customers can actually “sit in” and “purchase!”
Douglas Robbins (my salesman at Classic BMW) made my latest BMW purchase the most painless car buying experience ever. He took me on the most entertaining test drive and showed me every possible function of my new car. It was probably less than a 2 hours process, start to finish, and that could have been shorter had I completed the application and paperwork online before my arrival. I will definitely do business with him again and of course BMW service is a class all its own. If youre on the fence, DO IT. Give him a call!

If I feel the treatment was average or lower, Ill just be nice and dont write anything.With Classic BMW, and especially my advisor, Cody Garcia, I have no reservation about posting on how great their customer service facility is and how well Cody treats my wife and I every time we bring in our BMW X5 in for service. They have always provided us with a very nice loaner and are quick to take care of any maintenance issues.This time around, Cody went way above and beyond and I cannot thank Cody enough. With my extended warranty coming to a close, Cody advised me to leave my X5 for a comprehensive inspection to look for any issues that could be fixed under warranty. Well, they found numerous mechanical issues that, in my opinion, saved me thousands of dollars in future repairs. Thank you Cody!The dealership itself is fantastic. Clean and buzzing with activity, its an experience I love to interact with. I always feel special walking around the dealership and everyone I interact with are so friendly and professional.We did not buy our X5 from Classic BMW, but I can assure you that our next BMW will come from this dealership.
My E60 M5 started having transmission malfunction warnings pop up so I contacted Classic BMW to see about getting it looked at. The service dept told me that yes, they would look at it, after breaking down the full details to them. I pay $185 to have it towed to their service dept. They call me later in the day to discuss. When I told them I just wanted it diagnosed, wasnt certain it would be repaired, they were no longer interested in diagnosing the issue although I was willing to pay the $200 fee. For service I recommend indys like AutoScope.
First time to take my car to the shop and feel like it is in good hands with my advisor Kaleb Ortiz. He was informative and efficient. I felt like I had been going there for years by the time I left. I highly recommend asking for Kaleb if you need service on your BMW.

When I purchased my BMW, it was a very pleasant experience. They had the exact car I wanted and I love my BMW!! Jacob was the only sales person approached me after being at the pre own lot for well over 15 minutes looking at the i3 I was interested in. Even fully aware that I’m on a sheer discovery trip to see this vehicle, Jacob was professional, courteous, and friendly. What pushed me to end up closing the deal was his willingness to work with various aspect of the deal. I was delighted that there was no shenanigans, surprises, or BS while closing the deal - exactly the price we agreed upon and no hidden fees at signing. Surprisingly a pleasant buying experience.

Wish I could leave zero stars. This location is trash now that Sewell is running it. I’m on my second BMW and never had any issues when coming in for maintenance or service until Sewell took over from Classic. I’ve been trying to drop off my SUV for a recall for over 3 weeks now and today had to ask for my car back because the rental car that I had reserved the week before was not available. Not to mention that the week prior Sewell called and asked me to reschedule my 1st appointment that I had booked 2 weeks prior because they accidentally overbooked rentals for the date I was going to drop off. When I went in today this was the first time that it took over 10 minutes before I was taken care of in the garage. The tech seemed unfamiliar with the software on his tablet once I was able to get checked in and I didn’t even see a service advisor they just wrote me a voucher to get a rental. Get to the rental counter and they tell me it’ll be 2 hours before a rental is available. The reason I made an appointment was because I had to be available an hour after drop off. Needless to say after trying to schedule a service appt twice and both times it being a disaster I will not be recommending sewell to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. And quite frankly I will not be getting another BMW after my lease is over unless a new dealership opens up in the area with better service. Sewell is a joke! So much for all the ads you see on TV and hear on the radio…Sewell service is hot garbage!
The only time a service experience was actually enjoyable and efficient. Kaleb Ortiz made the whole process so easy and got my tire fixed quickly. I highly recommend asking for Kaleb for your next service needs. I will definitely be taking my car back here.
Took my vehicle in for routine service and did not have a specific service advisor assigned to me. Kaleb Ortiz was the first to greet me and said he would take care of me and that he did. Kaleb went above and beyond to make sure everything was accomplished correctly and that I was happy with his service. I will always ask for Kaleb when I bring my car in for service. Hes awesome!
An excellent dealer if you are in the market for a new BMW. Doug Robbins was outstanding in his communication, customer service and commitment to excel. I live a little far from this dealership but still drove all the way just because of their service. Purchased a new BMW X series SUV at Classic, Plano TX yesterday.Excellent service and full attention by Fred Nour - the sales manager. He listened to our ask/wish list of what we expect in the SUV and shared right information on multiple models. He also answered all our queries with great enthusiasm and always got in right experts from the dealership to help us take informed decisions. Within one hour, we were convinced that BMW has the right SUV as compared to other brands (Audi, Lexus) that we were exploring. Max Stamer did a good job to get all paperwork done in a short time and we walked away with our dream car within 3 hrs. We walked out feeling treated very well. We are very happy with our new purchase and highly recommend this dealership.

Transition pains. It is now a part of the Sewell organization (for 3 days as of this review). The record-keeping systems must be incompatible because all the information had to be re entered. But being familiar with both, the Sewell change should be an improvement.

I recently purchased a BMW X5 from Classic BMW. I was unsure how I would be treated at a luxury brand dealership. I grew up financially unable but now its different.I was pleasantly surprised by the staffs professional attitude and sincere hospitality. I want to specifically commend salesman James Garza and Brandon Womack in financing. Both of these men should be praised for their attention to customer service and hospitality. James was a pleasure to work with and did everything I requested with pleasure. Brandon was also a sweetheart and was very professional and hospitable. I walked in last Monday in order to look at the x6 that was in front of the dealership. Right before walking in we also noticed a Mercedes G-series in front of the dealership and opened the door to take a look. A lady (Kassandra Moran) from inside came opening the door and yelled that we were not allowed to open the car because it’s been sold. We were surprised at the rudeness and told her sorry but it was unlocked to begin with. My husband and I the walked in behind her inside of the dealership and again Kassandra Moran was very rude. Upon us entering she looked at us up and down and rolled her eyes. We ignored it and asked to test drive the car. She still gave us an attitude and said we don’t test drive after 6. We were fine with that but the way she treated us was terrible. My husband and I walked out and said there was no way we would be back. We were walking through the parking lot and a very nice man Michael Snyder stopped us and asked if we needed any help. He wasn’t even rushing even though he was on his way home. We told him that we understand we need to come back to test drive which we were fine with and I will give him a call to set up an appointment.I talked to him on Friday and I set an appointment to come back and see him on the following Monday. I showed up and again bumped into Kassandra Moran. Again same rude attitude. When I asked to speak to Michael Snyder she gave me a weird look like I was asking for someone that she didn’t know. I was confused as she said it will be a moment please have a seat. Then she looked at me again and said actually he is no longer with us. I was like since when because I just talked to him Friday and I had an appointment with him. She was like well he is no longer with us. So that’s when I decided to leave because with her rude attitude I didn’t even want to deal with it anymore.I sat in the parking lot for a bit thinking. She upset me so much I had to go back and speak to a manager to complain about my terrible experience not once but twice. I spoke with Olivia Miner. She apologized and said that they would have to talk to Kassandra Moran again. So I was surprise that they have had many complaints and that she is still the one that you see as soon as you walk in. Olivia Miner asked if she could show me a car and I told her I was too upset to even look at anything.I hope that there will have better Customer Service at this dealership in the future. It’s very sad this luxurious dealership had very rude customer service!
I will never bring my car back to this dealership for service. I took my car there to replace fuel pump. They kept car for almost 2 weeks. When I finally picked up car was charged $2911.80. Brought my car home and noticed a gas smell and the gas gauge not working. Note: had no gas smell inside car and gauge registered properly before taking there. Took it back to have serviced they replaced fault fuel tank vent valve and right side fuel level sensor for $1118.92. They called back and said fuel line needed replacing for over $900.00 advised had fuel line replaced a year ago at another dealership. Service advisor agreed to $100 credit which was okay. I inquired about military discount to Cashier which she said would need approval. She got approval and explained made one time exception for additional discount. Service advisor came out to repeat what Cashier said felt wasnt necessary or needed. Ive been BMW owner for 30 years worst service ever received.

Been going to Classic BMW for about 10 years now and have had several of my cars serviced there.You will meet some of the most friendly people there at Classic. Ron Williamson has been my advisor (and now my wife’s too!) for the entire duration of my relationship with them. That tells you about how they treat their employees.I love the layout of the showroom, and it was one of the first showrooms in Dallas that actually looked European, and does not look dated at all even after all these years. I’ve purchased two new cars here, and also one from their used car section. In all my dealings with them, they’ve always been professional and courteous. If they can get you the numbers you seek, they will or else they will let you know.Their customer service is also impeccable. They have always given me a loaner and ensured my issues are fixed. Their customer waiting area is always stocked with cold drinks, coffee and refreshments. Finally, if your oil or coolant needs some topping up (these things sometimes happen), they will take care of you in the service Bay Area without an appointment.These gorgeous motorbike photos below were taken AT Classic BMW. I live in Waco and worked with John Brunson to purchase my BMW. I came to the dealership and John let me drive a new BMW to see if thats the car I wanted. He found me a car like it but with more options in there fleet vehicles. I had to wait about a month and a half but John keep me updated via text and also took pics of my trade in that day. We finalized the deal using text. I went today to pick it up and its a great car and fun to drive. I also worked with Katherine in finance and she was amazing to work with as well.

Everyone at this dealership is so polite and courteous. Starting from the initial drop off to meeting with my advisor John sojdei I was provided a courtesy vehicle while mine was getting fixed and I had my own car back the following day sparkly clean!

I am so glad that I called Chris Kim at the Classic BMW. After I went to the Autobahn BMW at Fort Worth which was a total waste of my time. I called Chris around 4:30pm and he told me to come over so he can help me even though they close at 6:00 pm. I got there at 5. He quickly show me the one that I liked. 2 hours later I was at the finance office signing the documents. The best car buying experience ever !!! I have been bringing my 2019 X3 to this location for a little over a year now for service as well as general repairs and I have been amazed at how awesome the service team is here. Purchased a SUV on July 16th 2021. It was an out of state purchase from Ohio. I was given TX temp plates that run out on Sept 14th. I had sent emails to the finance department on two occasions asking update on my Ohio plates with absolutely zero response back from them.I reached out to my sales person Jacob Campbell who took time out of his busy day to give me an update on the status of the permanent Ohio plates. With his update I could see that the plates will arrive one day before the temp plates run out.Thank you again Jacob you are truly as asset to Classic BMW. Usually I go to Sewell in Grapevine for my auto needs on my 430i. However, this time they could not perform the service I needed on my wheels and I was referred to Classic BMW. Although I had to travel farther, I found this dealership filled with energetic, eager-to- please employees. Cody sent me several messages to help me decide the best time to visit their location. He answered all of my communications with little or no delay. I felt like a VIP customer even though I had not been to this facility before. Other Rock stars at this facility are Caleb, Abhi, Taylin and Dylan Boast. From the time I arrived at the Service Department until I picked up my car 2 days later I was updated regularly and could not have been more pleased. I would definitely be remiss if I did not mention the service I received on my wheels. Awesome job! It was wonderful seeing my wheels looking brand new again. Last but not least, I do not know his name, but this outstanding service continued to the detailing department. Tech in this department drove us to customer waiting area while they washed my car and came back to pick us up when finished. This location has customer service in mind. Hopefully, this will not change as they transition to new ownership. They truly have the formula to keep customers returning.

I cannot possibly say enough good things about the service we received here! Our sales associate, Brett Warren, and our Genius, Alexander Miles, were over the top! Brett is a race track instructor so our test drive was not only informative but so much fun. He was patient with us and allowed us time to discuss on our own with zero pressure. We didnt have time to stick around for the run through of the technology instructions, so Alex came to our house a few days later to teach us all the bells and whistles. He spent well over an hour with me and was really thorough - you can tell how passionate he is about BMWs! There were spots on the leather that I pointed out before we left originally, so he brought leather cleaner and microfiber towels when he came to the house. He cleaned it for me and then left the products with me. The car itself is ridiculously amazing - 2021 X6M - but service is extremely important to us, as well, and it could not have been better. When were ready for something new, we will return and ask for these gentlemen by name. Thanks, Brett and Alex, for making this a smooth and fun experience!

I was in a wreck and my car totaled so I was on a hunt for a specific Brand, Make, and Model. After literally talking to 4 other dealerships Jacob Campbell received my inquiry via autotrade website and not only responded right back, but he continuously followed up with me, sent me pictures and videos, and answered my many questions I had. Unlike the other dealerships, he provided me with wonderful customer service and he was not pushy or too salesy. He was extremely prompt and Im so glad I purchased my car from him! My family and I will definitely be back for our next purchases. Not only was Jacob great, but Catherine in finance was great to work with as well. I had a very pleasant experience, and since I knew my car, my deal, and already had my funds, I wasnt at the dealership for too long. Definitely recommend this place of business.

Buyers remorse gone bad.. I guess …I hated the car I bought less than 24 hours later I’m reaching out trying to get into something I liked more and was basically lied to from all aspects from the finance company to the staff at classic. I didn’t even want a full return of car I wanted something better snd I had the money to make it happen. Funny how quick these types of companies forget you’ve been a loyal paying customer bought a 65,000 car cash two months ago and just rushed this purchase of the car I picked and wanted something bigger snd badder. I spoke to all sides finance company had no knowledge of my loan but sales managers said the deal was funded .. quickest funding ever… per the 5 other ppl I personally know at dealerships… I gave notice I wasn’t happy as quick as I could and was pawned off like my 50,000 purchase wasn’t worth their time … you guys may continue to do well but I have zero intentions ever buying from that location again . .. and yeah I get there is no law about cooling off period but less than 24 hours come on guys do the right thing next time … you had 2 ppl who loved bmws snd I will scream this experience off of roof tops snd explain this to everyone in my sphere of influence to not go to classic bmw aka Sewell bmw …snd I just wanted a better car something should’ve been done because it’s the right thing to do and I just paid cash on a 60,000 vehicle two months ago … swallow your pride who cares about your commission thats all these guys care about unfortunately that was very evident from every conversation I had with all levels of employees. The only person I had good conversation with was a guy at bmw headquarters when I filed a formal complaint. To the guy who called me today knowing full well you couldn’t help me … you suck I hope you lose your job.., any event the car is growing on me and I’m not a POS OR !! UNGRATEFUL so all in all life is good
