I did the drop off and go the other day, there was about 5 people waiting for the vehicle to be finished. This was at 9am in the morning. My insurance was accepted here. They had my car from 900am to 200pm. I like that I could get it back within the same day, as I use my vehicle for deliveries. Love the text updates. The windshield looks brand new. They got most of the stickers back on the windshield, with little or no issues of their visibility. I would recommend them, just for the drop off and go service alone.

Dropped car off in AM & picked up that evening. We have used them before. This is the only location close to us that can calibrate our windshields over head odometer. They do a great job, staff is courteous & professional. Office area is clean & has a decent seating area if you want to wait.Ours takes over 3 hours, so we prefer to drop and pick up at the end of day.

I had a great experience here at Safelite Auto glass. The staff was very friendly and professional. I dropped my truck off at 9:30AM and it was ready at 6PM. I couldnt make it back in time that day, so I came back the next day. The windshield looks great and so far, there are no leaks. They did a great job.

I have a 9:30 appointment to get windows replaced. When I got there thy said my appointment is an all day appointment. I was not expecting an all day appointment. The lady would not let me come back later at a time closer to my appointment.This sucks big time. They do NOT have rental cars.I will not be back to the place.

Had an appt at 1pm and was taken in on time after arrival. Was told would be about 1.5 hours for the windshield replacement and everything went smooth and was as described. Very friendly reception and tech guy explained to me how to care for next 24 hours. Large facility much larger than any other I have seen for Safelite.

Everything on their commercials is fake!Not that it is in control of this location, but they do not come to you to fix your windshield, and your insurance doesnt cover it, you pay out of your deductible. A rock had hit my windshield on a roadtrip. The timing was unfortunate, since it was right after a hail storm, so they were quite busy. You do have to bring your car in, I called to inquire, and they told me they do not come to you, okay. I was there when the store opened to drop off my car for windshield replacement. They did a great job, but it was expensive, my insurance (USAA) didnt help, another misleading thing about their commercials. I guess I could have chased down the semi that was kicking up rocks on the highway. For being swamped, the employees were somewhat friendly. I did have to leave my car there all day, so be ready for that possibly. Whenever I see the Safelite commercials though, it irks me. My friend got his windshield replaced, and it looks just as good, at a mom and pop auto shop in South Dallas for a fraction of the price, and they detailed his car. So if your repair isnt urgent, I suggest shopping around.

Scheduled a mobile replacement of my windshield. I was given a window of 12-5, the tech called to confirm my appointment. Then at 3pm (3 hours into my appointment time) I got a text that my appointment was canceled. I called the 800 # and no service reps are available to take your call so it disconnects every time. So finally I got someone at the Plano location and I was told that the only way I was going to be able to complete my repair was to actually drive to the shop, so I had to end my work day early to sit in the shop for like 2 hours. Do not use Safelite, this is the 2nd time Ive had an unfavorable experience with this company!

Was transferred by customer service to the manager here. I am glad I avoided any appointment here as Andre sounds like he does not want to be there. Definitely not upholding the type of image Safelite is looking to portray as far as quality and thoroughness of the work. He does not even know what their website says

I had a rock hit my windshield and it left a small chip. Of course, I wanted to get it fixed before it turned into a major crack. I was able to schedule an appointment for the next day.They took my car very shortly after I got there, Noah did a great job of explaining what was going to happen...and before I knew it, he was finished..and I was very pleased with his work.I have no qualms in recommending Satellite Auto Glass!

The process was seamless. My window had a crack going down the middle and really needed a replacement. I scheduled the appointment online, dropped off the vehicle and then picked it up when it was ready. I was able to pay online and received updates via email. Everyone at Safelite was courteous and Id recommend their services any day.

While traveling in our RV we experienced an impact from an object from a Semi on our front windshield. We went to Safellite in Plano Texas. The staff was fantastic and got us in right away knowing we were 1500 miles from home and just traveling through the area. They were honest and upfront about a repair versus a new windshield. After attempting the repair to a large hole which I was able to watch the entire process I determined to go ahead with the full replacement. 2 hours later while we waiting in a very busy lobby with our two dogs. The facility was very clean, they had free snacks and coffee and everyone we spoke to was incredibly friendly. The safelite staff helped make a bad experience not as bad as it could have been. Thank you all for great service!!

I had my windshield repaired 5/14/21 and paid $500. On 7/16/21 a crack appeared from the edge of the windshield with no point of impact because nothing hit the windshield. I have tried to call numerous numbers and contact via facebook but there is no way to talk to an actual representative. I am needing information on the lifetime warranty and need someone to contact me with a LIVE representative.

I had a great experience with this facility in Plano despite of what is read in the reviews. I arrived at 3:15pm and my appointment was set at 3:30 pm. I went through my insurance company and set it up through the internet. They actually took my car back into their shop just moments after arrival. An employee documented every detail of the exterior of the vehicle and took pictures. He was very friendly and answered all questions that I had asked.The receptionist told me that the facility closed at 5pm, but they stay till they are complete with all orders for the day. So, I arrived back at 5pm to pick up my vehicle and it was ready by 5:30pm. Which is acceptable considering the completion time was quoted at 3 hours. Text messages kept me notified of the progress which included the completion of each step including the recalibration of all the camera sensors on the windshield and the rain sensor. My technician was Jesse who has been in the occupation for 18 years, was very professional and knowledgeable. He gave great instructions after the repair. He even went above and beyond to clean all my windows.I would return and recommend this facility.

They refused to replace my glass because of some error code on the vehicle that I told them was not a true fault and can be reset. Once i finally came back with the code erased, they replaced the windshield and broke my washer fluid sprayer, had to make a warranty repair 3rd appointment.They ended up taking care of everything, it just took a lot of my time.

I had a windshield replaced that had began to leak. Apparently there was a known issue with the adhesive/primer on the outer edge of the windshield that caused it, but since I had a 2 cm rock chip in the windshield, they will not cover the known issue.This was from the Plano TX location, and I believe the managers name was James...how shameful for a large corporation.Do not use safelite...if they actually stand behind their warranty I will amend, but we all know how these corporations work, find a local place that stands behind their work....

Scheduled an appointment for 8 am. I arrived on time, staff had appointment on calendar. Told me it would take about 2 hours. I took the time to eat breakfast nearby. They texted me when the work was completed, which was earlier expected. The work looked great, no issues identified initially. If anything changes over time I will update. So far, a great experience. There were a couple of options for the windshield that I want aware of. Before installing, they called me to make sure that I was able to decide what I wanted. Very courteous, excellent communication and professionalism.

Got a flying rock hit on the windshield and made a crack at PGBT/75 hwy. Immediately search online to find where to get it fix. Safelite was near by in East Plano. They allow walkin and got it replaired within 30 min. Front desk person was nice, took care of the insurance claim. The waiting area is clean and wonderful. A free sample of glass cleaner as a gift. Thank you for taking care of my urgent fix at 4:50 pm at the end of the day.

I took my vehicle in for a broken rear drivers door window and rear slider.First of all, there was no key drop available, so I had to leave the keys in the vehicle.The repairs were finished, late in the day. My wife picked up the keys and we returned after I got off work. By that time, Safelight was closed.I immediately noticed that the metal frame around the drivers side door is bent. It looks like someone took a pair of channel locks and bent the frame.I returned the next day and spoke to the manager. He denied that the technician bent the frame, he said it was because that the weatherstriping was bent when the glass was broke.I dont have photos of the broken glass, I didnt expect to need them, but Im 100 percent sure it was NOT bent.They have ordered the weatherstriping from the dealer, it is not in stock, supposed to arrive about 7 to 10 days.At which point, I have to make another trip to Safelight for them to attempt to satisfactorily repair the glass, which I doubt they can do.The metal is bent, not the rubber weatherstriping.If you need auto glass repair or replacement, do yourself a favor and go anywhere but Safelight

When I arrived for my appointment, they said that there was no warrantee since I was providing my own parts. What?!? I know nothing about auto parts, which is why I was bringing my car to Safelite! She said I would need to go to an auto parts store and buy a motor for my window and they would do the work. She said that their supplier did not supply that part. So, I went to the dealer and they said that the same part is used on this years model of my car. Turns out that it was the regulator, not the motor, so I would have been out of luck at Safelite even if I had brought my own parts! Wont be going back here ever again.

I had a tiny chip barely can see it....i went and go it repaired so it wouldnt spread, the crack looks way worse and bigger! They said there was no promise or grantee that it would look pretty...it looks so much worse...i should have let it be. I have 4 spider lines coming from it. Dont recommend. Get your own kit at Walmart and do it yourself .

My windshield was cracked after another vehicle threw a rock onto the windshield. The crack was significant enough I had to have the entire windshield replaced. Biva was the technician who worked on my vehicle. The customer service was outstanding both from the technician and office staff. It took less than an hour for my windshield to be replaced. Since the car cannot be be washed 2 days after replacement, the technician also vacuumed out my front floorboards and wiped my passenger and drivers windows clean. Overall, i was very impressed with this location

The app made the scheduling and payment easy and quick. The technician was professional and on time. He worked independently while I was at my office and when I came out to inspect the work it was completed and very clean. I would recommend them for ease of completing a big task at my convenience.

Had a rock hit the passenger side back quarter panel window Friday. Called insurance and they set up an appointment with Safelite for Monday morning. Very nice professional lady at front desk made sure everything was ready. Then the installation tech came our and went over the job with me. He assured me he would vacuum up all the glass and the car would be ready in an hour. Less than an hour later, he came out and said it was ready! The car was very clean inside. No glass pieces anywhere! GREAT JOB!! These people are pros!! Recommend them very highly. Also social distancing was practiced very well.

I had 2 chips to fill and the appointment was estimated to take 45 minutes. It lasted just about exactly that long and they told me that the chip fills were supposed to be a structural fix and not a cosmetic one but I am impressed by the results.

I had no idea what to expect. A rock on the freeway left a sizable chip in my windshield. I knew it would never look perfect by repairing it, but my main goal was to keep it from getting worse. My technicians name was Biva Pound, and from the get-go he was beyond courteous and just the friendliest person ever. He explained the process to me, and was super respectful of my car and property. At the end of a work week he displayed such enthusiasm and customer service that it actually put me in a better mood than when I arrived! Who can say that about customer service anymore?! Not to mention, the chip is BARELY noticeable now. Even he was impressed with how good of a job he did. Whoever the manager of this facility is, needs to recognize the asset they have in Biva. Im now a customer for life. (God forbid I ever get hit by another rock, though)

I’m in the body shop business and understand removing and installing windshield and moldings without damaging adjacent parts or panels is not easy. Looked over the work and looks great worth the wait.

Awesome in and out

Our small business took a customer car to Safelite on Plano Parkway to have the passenger front window replaced after it was broken during a storm. This was part of the insurance claim. The customer recently called saying that the glass was broken. I went to inspect the glass for any impact points for some explanation for what could have happened. After inspecting the glass and feeling no texture on either side of the glass, I called Safelite to inquire how this could have happened. The representative was extremely helpful and explained that this could have easily happened due to stress on the glass not being equally tighted on both sides and finally the pressure from that could cause the glass to crack on the inside. I even questioned him about the length of time it could take for this to happen since it had been 11 months since the glass was installed. He said to call the warranty department and they would take care of having the glass replaced under warranty. My customer did just that and scheduled to take her car in. They removed the glass, showed it to her and said that it whomever installed the tint that damaged the glass. Installing tint would not create enough pressure to crack the glass without also damaging the tint. Safelite is just passing the blame. Now, Ill have to eat the cost to have the window replaced and re-tinted since I do take care of my customers. As a hail repair company, I will not use Safelite again and I recommend you dont use them either.

I made my appointment a month in advance, showed up at the time they opened, and was told it would be done by close of business. The closing time for this location states 5:00pm on their website, on the email reminder I received. There is not a close time on the front door so I couldn’t go by that... I arrived at 4pm and was told it would be 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Update your times on all platforms so there is no confusion when the latest pickup time will be. Really frustrating..

They do what they say they will do on time. There is enough seating for about 10 people in their waiting room.

Came to this place for a very small chip in my windshield. Without even looking at my windshield they told me it would be $120 to fix it. I thought that the employee behind the counter would at least look at the chip before he quoted me a price. But he didnt he Asked for my insurance information and when I went to my car to get it. I googled other windshield repair places nearby and found one who actually came out took a look at my windshield and I saved $40.

Easy to book, lots of availability, quick and professional service. This is the second crack that Safelite has fixed for me and both of them have been a grade A experience.

This is a Safelite regional office/warehouse as well as a repair center. The advantage is that, I think, they have more competent installers and they can do more complicated windows, such as mine, which have safety monitors involved with the windshield.The office staff is competent, however customer service is part time for them as they are also handling other corporate work.The disadvantage of the location is that its in a office/warehouse area without restaurants in reasonable walking distance. Also the actual window install work is done back in the warehouse somewhere and you cannot watch whats going on.The work they did for me was well done.

Got a new windshield loved it but less then a week of having it got to my car after work had a crack in it. They told me it voided the warranty saying it was new damage. I understand they cant fix it for free but having it for that little of a time they could have given me at least a discount.

I had a chip in my car that was starting to crack and called my insurance and they directed me to this place. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes and there was only a visible blemish left in my windshield. If youre looking for somewhere to get your windshield replaced this would be a good place to start.

Making an appointment is basically useless. I scheduled an 11:30am appointment. I arrive 5 minutes early and am told they have no technicians to work on my car right now. It will be 30-60 minutes until one is available! I scheduled here because it had good reviews on their work and they had availability for when I had to get to my job.Perhaps the quality of work will be good. That is yet to be seen. Make sure to clear your day though, because your appointment time is basically meaningless.

I would like to thank you for fixing my windshield cracks easily and so fast. I’m really appreciate the work on my car. I couldn’t thank the person who fixed personally but I hope you can see this post and be aware of my appreciation.

Horrible to work with. I’ve had to reschedule 3 times because they missed their window or it was drizzling. A call offering an alternate plan to bring the car up to the shop would’ve been helpful, rather than waiting on people all day only to have to reschedule.

My windshield was shattered by a loose piece of concrete falling off a truck and the guy didnt stop. Thats where my head was at when I called them.Kats upbeat attitude immediately brightened my day, and the service I got the next day made an unfortunate situation so much better. Fast, inexpensive, and smiles from everyone I spoke to.

As far as quality work I give them a 10. The 3 star is for the lack of back end management. The web appointment site is cheap and not well thought out. logistic wise, my office is literally around the corner from them. My appointment is for between 8-12 its now 11 and they are still not here. Who scheduled this techs day appointments Helen Keller?

My first time ever getting windshield replaced and I can say that this place was amazing. Staff was super nice and efficient and I could not be happier with my experience. They were also a lot faster then I expected, will definitely recommend to anyone that needs any kind of auto glass repair or replacement.

A rock in construction zone broke out my windshield two days before a week long road trip. The folks at the Plano location got me in and got my window fixed the next day! They even helped me determine if it was better to file with insurance or use the window replacement warranty purchased with my vehicle. The process was smooth and easy. They replaced the windshield on my old truck. Its absolutely crystal clear and looks exactly like a factory windshield from 22 years ago. It even has the faded tint at the top. They did it in less than 2 hours, it doesnt leak, and it makes driving my old truck much nicer.

Horrible experience. No value of time. We fixed an appointment for door glass on Friday, got a confirmation by email too BUT when we reached at our appointment time they had forgotten to order the glass. Moreover they blamed us for not picking up their phone. Both numbers they used to call did not show in our call list. WHAT A LAME EXCUSE for not doing their job and wasting our 3 productive office hours. #progressive insurance- you need to find better services.Make sure you confirm and reconfirm and again reconfirm before going. Their email confirmations are bogus.

Had windshield replaced without disrupting my busy schedule using mobile service. Austin was friendly, courteous & efficient. And ON TIME :) Pricing was much better than competitors. Very happy with the transaction.

Update: I am currently still waiting (one hour later) for a simple rock chip repair and have watched 5 people come and go with completed work. This is ridiculous.I will be recommending that my fleet servicer no longer uses Safelite after my most recent experience at this location. I was disappointed to see two customers who checked in after me being taken care of while I patiently waited for 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. When I asked why this was happening, the receptionist responded with “Oh, I thought they had already started on yours.”

Did a great job whenever big hailstorm came through. They brought in extra staff to make sure we got our car back quickly. We had appointment for 9:00 AM, and they actually had the work done 12 hours EARLY!

Going on 3 weeks for a window chip fix1st visit Chip turned into a full glass replacement after the injection machine caused a large crack2nd visit,1st install, technician broke the window mounting bracketacket and thought it looked fine and not even get the trim close to intalled.... Didnt say anything to me.3rd visit, 2nd install, same technician installed another pane of glass but broke ANOTHER trim cover and didnt tell me until I got into my car. Very obviously since the trim was hanging off now.Going on 4th visit this week hopefully the last one but every issue Ive had to lower the star rating.Very unprofessional to complete a job with something broken and try to act like it never happened.
