Bad customer experience overall. Contacted this business over the phone initially and the help was very minimal. Then I figured to give them a chance by going in person. Michael/Mike, the advisor/estimator, was not helpful after providing the in-person estimate. Communication was horrible and I found myself doing most of the work to try to do business with them. It was hard to get a hold of him and when I did, it was the same story each time. That he would follow-up with me, which he never did. Was hoping for a better outcome but that did not happen.

He told me what to expect regarding the process and repair work and even felt with my insurance on my behalf. I received text message updates and my car was completed early. Hands down Acura collision center is 5 stars. Mr Dennis took care of the whole claim! Beginning to end. Had no issues what so ever and my vehicle came out looking as if nothing happened. 2 months later I had questions about my claim and Mr. Dennis still took the time out to assist me.

It was such a great experience. Although tough negotiation with great sales persons can smash a buyer’s hope, it feels very satisfactory closing a transaction. Today, even though I met very professional sales persons that toughened up on me, we eventually reached an agreeable point where we closed the sale. The sales persons were really neat, and I became happier when they assisted me further to finance my car despite my very low credit score. Therefore, I am immensely satisfied that not only did I close the transaction, but also I enjoyed the overall professionalism and great manners of the entire staff that made the entire experience unique.

Upon arrival, I waited in my car for a good ten minutes (literally counted them). Service advisor comes up and takes our car. I came in for labor day special they emailed and talked to one other person before the advisor came and spoke to both workers about the specific special. Car took shorter than expected but upon check out, they told me the price without the special. It is a minor work up but definitely felt not professional and lack of focus or communication, there of, for even to be a good experience. Only positive was the first worker that greeted us at least informed me of the situation but otherwise even for a holiday, holiday or not, gave a eyebrow raising experience.

I came in because my car was having problems. I was fifteen minutes late so the technician I was to see was not there. The technician that helped me was very kind, professional and helpful. I wish I could remember his name but I cant. He took very good care of my needs. I really like David McDavids car dealership the engine staff is kind and professional. The reason I used this body shop because it’s near my work. I called to make appointment for bumper fixed due to accident. Ron Fazio was the one who helped me. He was ok, kind of hard to reach and little lack of communication. I left a voicemail and called back spoke with him he said no voicemail left. My bumper was fixed just fine and took 8 days to complete my service. On top of that the day I arrived at the facility the Hispanic girl who worked in the front never smile or greets customers. She didn’t even acknowledge me when I was there. The day I came back to pickup my car( which Ron arranged for me to come since he said will be there until 6:30pm). I came in little after 6pm. That same Hispanic girl was rude and told me that the body shop closed with her rude tone. I’m not using this collision center ever again and will take my business somewhere else. They didn’t seem to care maybe because I used 3rd party insurance. This place needs to do better job and improve customer service skills.

Had an excellent and pretty quick experience here. We called with what we wanted and they had the car ready to go when we got there (we drove over an hour to get there). Drew didn’t mess around. He got ya the paperwork to fill out and showed us the vehicle features. Michael in financing got us in and out of the office very quickly without trying to sell to many extras 😏 overall great experience, and I look forward to servicing my vehicle there!

The repair of the car was a good job. However the boy who handled my case, ROBERT, wasn’t. Hence the 2 star rating. He did not keep me up to date on my car progress and kept pushing back the date of when it would be ready. I HAD TO CALL HIM to ask for details SEVERAL TIMES. He THOUGHT he could give me the run around. I told him these things to his face and all he could muster was excuses. You would think that someone working in CUSTOMER SERVICE would call afterwards to give a proper apology, but HE NEVER DID. I honestly recommend that if you decide to take your car there, request to NOT have Robert handle your case.

From the regular maintenance to me Being worried about a noise, they always explain the issues or concerns so I understand in layman’s term. I tried multiple times to schedule a service appointment. On at least 4 occasions, no one in the service department answered the phone. It rang and rang. Finally a recorded voice tells me to try again. I gave up and tried to schedule online. This process is very frustrating it doesnt provide adequate opportunities to describe needed services i.e. State Inspection. At last I scheduled my appointment for 8:30 am on Wednesday December 18. I pulled up and no one was there to greet me (unlike a luxury competitor MB). I went inside and no one made eye contact with me, yet there was a technician about 2 feet from me who just sat there and scrolled on his phone and others at their desks. I heard one say it was a slow day. Finally, I went to the front desk (~8:40) and said I had an appointment and can someone help me. I have been a customer with David McDavid for over a decade and this has been the most disappointing visit. The focus on putting the customer first has fallen short of expectations. I got an oil change and state inspection and my confidence in having this work performed correctly leaves me to wonder. This visit was not at all what I expected.Andy Lilliston

Very, very, very satisfied! I purchased a pre-owned vehicle and two days later noticed a rattle sound on a cold start-up coming from the engine. Sotaro and Sales Mgt immediately introduced me to Brandon and Bryan in Service. Both were very responsive and positive.Net/net the repair ended up being a sizable one...…..Service completed the repair in a very timely matter and despite the sizeable repair/cost that they absorbed, left me feeling like a very valuable customer that they were very eager to make the situation right.I am in sales and know sometimes things/issues come-up after the sale and unfortunately are not always dealt with in the most professional or positive manner...….that was not the case here. I brought my car in on 3 separate occasions for the same problem. Each time the anticipated duration of service was incorrect. I was told I would have the car back in days instead of the weeks it required. The car came back dirty each time. Parts took weeks not days to arrive. Color match was ultimately not exact. Dissatisfied with the service, communication and end result.

Had damage done to my car and State Farm said they were a certified location. I spoke with Robert and had to wait 5 weeks to get my car in. No problem, I wanted Honda to do the repairs. I recently bought a new 2020 Acura RDX at Plano David McDavid Acura. Since I am not very good at negotiation, I have to rely on Costco auto buy program in order to get a good deal. The auto program is very easy to use, and I got quick response ( within hours) from one of the authorized dealers that is Plano David Mcdavid Acura once I decided that I am interested in a new Acura. The dealership offered a very good discount for a new Acura RDX base model in one of many emails. I went to the dealership the next day. Mr Vincent Kolles was not the original appointed person to handle my business. He quick took over the matters, and was very friendly and professional in the whole process from helping me order a car with the right color combination to negotiating a price for the car that I wanted. The whole team, including Mr Kolles, was very efficient in dealing with all the details (including a trade-in) and concerns. Most of the time they honor the offer(s) given upfront. I have to say that if one wants to get a better deal, one has to do his/her homework, and good at negotiation. In my case, I feel I got a very good deal to the best of my ability and was very satisfied with the purchase. I have to wait a few days for a car that has the preferred color scheme, and finish the paper works at the delivery. Every person at the dealership is helpful, friendly and professional. In short I am very happy with my purchase of a new Acura RDX thanks to both Costco auto buy program and David McDavid Dealership.

My service rep was nice but their quality control needs improvement. Upon picking up my vehicle the trim pieces were not installed properly, blotches of clear coat on the exterior, interior door pieces were not installed correctly, interior was dusty, and so on. I returned my vehicle 4 times before everything was properly painted, installed and cleaned. They made good on their word and fixed everything but I was disappointed I had to catch all the issues myself and had numerous return trips to drop off the car for items that should of been caught and fixed initially.

Insurance company was great gave them ample time to complete a simple repair and paid them on time. However, the body shop called me to tell me my car was ready as Im heading in Neil calls me back to tell me not to come in and hell call me back since the car was not completed. I finally get a call back a week later and the attitude of Neil and Brian Tucker was horrible. I asked that an adjustment be made to my rental for the horrible customer service and late delivery. They are not accomadating to familys that have work schedules outside of their business hours.
