I bought a used 1500 cxdl from eBay and I love it it’s most assuredly they best way to smoke meat if your needing consistency and don’t have time to babysit a wood fire job, I still like my traditional pit when I wanna kick back and do some smoking with no time issues but this here is by far an easier and better finished product, I can add as much smoke flavor I want and you can still get the ring if you do it right I love it. Plus I can load it down and feed several hundred people with it if I prepare it right and if I wanna just do a rack or two of ribs I can use it and get the same results every time. Great product I’ll be buying accessories for it and anew one if this one tanks anytime soon, it’s worth every penny if you like to smoke food

Best smoker Ive ever owned. I call it the Ronco Oven of smokers, just set it and forget it. Great smoker and great customer service. I have owned mine since 2004.
