The customer service here was amazing. This was my 9yr old sons first pair of glasses and our first go around with shopping for them. Claudia was so patient and knowledgable. She showed us a wide selection of styles and brands that were a perfect fit for his face. His glasses were ready in just a few days. The representative that met us for the fitting showed my son how to put on/take off and care for his new glasses. She also showed me how to apply anti-fog drops. After picking out, choosing and now wearing glasses from Spectacular Eyewear I can tell you that anything that you wear on your face is not something that should not trust to a pro.I’ve been to vision works where a 20 something year old with probably 2 hours of training. slapped on my glasses that I randomly picked out and they lasted 4 months.I’ve ordered glasses on line to save a few bucks, always a disaster.This time I decided to do the right thing and visit a store full of quality selected frames and deal with professionals.Jodie patiently went through the entire line and we must have tried on 100 frames. She has it down to an amazing system, and it shows.I have the perfect glasses with the perfect fit she chose the right type of lens and Joe made sure the fit was on point and that I left satisfied. All while we were taking and enjoying the process. At the other stores I’ve been to it’s just a miserable experience.They were also completely on point with keeping me up to date on delivery and pickup etc.I don’t write these often unless I am overwhelmed by the quality of service. Do yourself a favor and get your next pair of glasses at Spectacular Eyewear.

Had a great experience today with Gail! I bought glasses online through Warby Parker and they needed a lot of adjustments. I only wear my glasses at night after taking out my contacts, so it wasnt important to me to spend several hundred dollars on glasses. However, you obviously get what you pay for and the glasses I got needed a lot of adjustments. I called them in the morning to see if I needed an appointment, and they asked me to just call prior to coming to make sure it wasnt busy and I could come right in. I called 15 minutes prior and they advised no one was in the store, so I could come right in. Gail made numerous adjustments and even took the lenses out to heat the frames on the top because they were so stiff and almost digging into my face. I am trying them out tonight and the adjustments she made have completely changed the glasses. They are so comfortable now and more importantly, I feel like I can see properly out of them. I will definitely be going back here in October when I am due for my contact lens exam and will purchase glasses from them in the future as well.

Excellent personal service. Eyewear specialist Ilissa provided wonderful assistance in selecting my frames. Did not feel rushed or pressured. When picking up my glasses even though COVID restrictions are in place the fitting of the glasses was very precise and diligent. Would definitely recommend.

I was constantly taking off my glasses to do close work. Very annoying...I obtained a frame that Spectacular Eyewear could put my prescription in that would flip up whenever I needed no correction. It worked out great -my eyes are protected from any hazards by the plain lenses & I have myRx to flip up whenever needed. Im grateful to Jodi & her staff for makinglife a bit easier. 🤓

Great updated location, an excellent and personable optometrist, opticians are also wonderful. Its the combination of two family-owned business and it shows. You will feel like family here. We started going to Eyeglass House in Plainview a number of years ago on a friends recommendation bc we were unhappy with the continual mistakes at our old eye docs place, and weve never had better optical service. Now theyve merged with Spectacular Eyewear, and the fit is perfect. Great selection of stylish frames, from midrange to high-end, and the service is always top-notch. Could not love this place more.

I called to request my records. I was told not only did they not have my records but that I hadn’t even been seen there. Now I’m not losing my mind as I live right across the street from them. I was seen. I called my vision insurance and was given the date I was seen and the amount that was charged. Jody was extremely rude and talked over me. Legally they are supposed to hold your records for 7 years. So where are they ?

They are professional, and they are perfectionists - the lenses are always perfect, the frames adjusted so that they dont fight with your nose or ears, and they will happily adjust, tighten, or fix the glasses, months or even years after youve had them made. I went to these guys to get my eyes checked after my previous examiner suspected slight increase in pressures. Karen the optometrist has a PhD, very patient and kind, answered all my questions even the silly ones, Claudia helped me with glasses, when I told her my penchant for breaking expensive glasses, she gave me a good deal and even gave me advice on what shape to wear for my facial outline. Felt like talking with a good acquaintance. very professional and helpful. I would go again to them.update: I went back to them for my yearly checkup on 3/2/2019. Always a pleasant experience. My Student insurance doesnt cover these visits, so they always give me a good discount, on my checkup and glasses. Dr.Karen Perekalsky explained to me that my high pressure readings could be due to my unusually thick corneas, not being compensated by the machines algorithms. She even took pictures of my fundoscopy results on my phone, and explained to the delight of the science and anatomy geek in me. Like last time Halie helped me with new glasses. Very professional but personable.

I brought my 8 year old into Spectacular Eyewear and met with Jodi who is the owner. Both her and her staff took the time with my daughter while she tried on dozens of frames.
