Went in there to get an oil change because i work at a school and it was free. I really appreciate that but i was told i had to make an appointment and i did and i was told it would take an hour and it took an hour and half and nobody knew how to eliminate the service oil change sign that was popping up in my suv. The weird part is i watched a video and was able to stop that from popping up. They also did not wash the car and never told me that the car wash was down.
Called ahead to make an appointment for an oil change told them the make and model of my car and was told it would be over an hour if Autozone had my filter? Isn’t that why you make an appointment? Bought my wife’s last 2 cars from here, will rethink that moving forward!You didn’t even provide me with the right number to call…..unreal
Every time I come in to Hawk Mazda I have been greeted promptly by friendly staff. They are concise and get me in and out with exactly what I need, even if it’s just a quick wash. I love my new Miata and I wouldn’t take it anywhere else.

I strongly suggest you not to buy here. They cheat you easily with numbers. First they agree on one OTD price and ask you to sign then at the delivery time they will charge you hundreds of dollars on top of the signed price. If you ask them then they will say we will refund you the extra amount but they don’t do. I’m personally facing this issue.

They got my Mazda 3 look at for a check engine light came on and repair it and I was out of there within 2hrs. Also thanks for showing me that leak on my front axle which previously the other mechanic shop I took it over to never told me about it. Great team work guys.

Great experience. James wolf (Product Specialist) did an excellent job with selling the vehicle. The finance office charged us twice for our downpayment, but rectified the situation as soon as they were notified of the overcharge. I had a great experience purchasing my CX5 at Hawk Mazda. I put over 100,000 miles on my 2017 CX5 and with absolutely 0 issues and no unexpected repairs, upgrading to the 2020 was a no brainer. Even though I was going to purchase another Mazda I chose to drive 45 minutes out of my way to buy from Hawk. After contacting 5 different dealers and receiving quotes, Hawk had the lowest price and every step of the way they were true professionals. Allison and Bryan were great to work with and I felt 0 pressure to make a quick purchase which is something that has pushed me away from other dealers in the past. I will be buying my next Mazda from Hawk in the future, even if I have to drive out of my way to do so. Thank you very much for a great vehicle and experience.

Bought a new car recently (2020 cx-30) and I love it. I worked with Mike as a walk in and he helped create my appointment and make my visit very quick and efficient. I was able to buy my car and enjoy the rest of my day no problem. I felt well accomdated. There were some pretty good deals going on at the time so Im glad I went when I did.

I left behind important paper work for my car in the loaner vehicle I used while mine was getting serviced. They lied to me for 3 weeks before telling me oh we checked and didnt find anything. Also never bothered to respond back when I asked to speak to someone else about my missing things.Will not be returning. Also since I got my car back my wheel feels as though it will fall off and is making squealing noise for no reason at all. Too afraid to go back as they will mess with something else. And no I had no previous issue with my Mazda 3 2019. Got brand new in July of 2019. Now Im concerned.

Excellent car buying experience. Shopped in person at Volkswagen, Subaru, and Mazda dealerships. My senior citizen retirement job is at an auto auction, so I already knew which cars I liked the most (I drive hundreds of cars every day). After test drives on real roads, I decided on a CX-5. I then went on internet to get a additional prices for one. Hawk was the best price by far (including the dealership I visited), and the internet/phone contact I talked with was very professional and courteous. This was also true of the sales person I then dealt with at the dealership; I got price quoted on phone. All questions answered. Car I wanted was in stock. No high pressure from anyone including the finance person. Highly recommend this dealership. PS: The CX-5 is a great car - interior makes you think it is a much high-priced vehicle; better engine than other vehicles, too.

Tried to schedule Pre Delivery Inspection that was missed before vehicle was sold and delivered. Justin Woods, alleged Service Manager, gave me nothing but pushback. In the end, could not provide proof that the PDI was ever performed. Spent more time arguing with me than trying to solve the issue, which would have been to simply perform the PDI.Would rather jump into a pool of double-edged razor blades than ever set foot in this dealership again.

First off, let me just say that the Mazda 3 is a great car. However, I wish that I hadnt purchased mine at Hawk Mazda. I should not have ignored the red flags.Before going to the dealership, I requested a price from Hawk Mazda online. The sales manager that I spoke with, Dave, refused to negotiate down to that price until I told him that I was offered better than his best deal.After his face blushed and he met that price, I went to meet the finance guy, Matt. He gave me all sorts of paperwork, issued the plates, etc., but he didnt give me the itemized sales report of the car that I purchased which allowed him to try to rip me off for an extra $1000. Naturally, I called and spoke to my salesman, Jerry, who did his best to cover for him and had the price adjusted to what I previously had agreed to with Dave.But the story goes on. Upon taking delivery, aside from noticing that they didnt even bother to detail my new car for me, one of the first things I did was look in the glove box. There I found a mysterious large *bent* metal bracket. So I called Jerry to ask him what it was, sending him a photo (see pic). He later told me that it was a battery holder, making no further comments at all. After thinking to myself What the heck is a battery holder doing in my glove box, I went outside and popped the hood of my brand new car to find that 1 of the 2 plastic flanges on either side of the battery, to which the battery holder should have been bolted, was *broken off* (see pic). So I called Jerry and asked to speak to Dave, who had seen the photos, and what did he do? He played dumb about it. Obviously, someone had stolen the battery from my car before I purchased it, but the good people at Hawk never bothered to fix the damage that was done to the vehicle before selling it as new. Dave never admitted the obvious, so I contacted Mazda USA to make them aware of the situation. Eventually, they fixed these issues, but I specifically remember asking Dave What if there is additional damage that I just havent found yet? There was . . .And the story goes on. What I thought was some adhesive or dirt on my windshield turned out to be gouges in the glass, likely from the same screwdriver that was used to steal my battery. It was obviously not damage from a rock thrown up from the road and this was within a month of purchase. I called Jerry who spoke to the GM, Bryan, about it, but they refused to even discuss the matter further or offer to make any repairs. So I then contacted Mazda USA again, reviewing this whole ridiculous situation, and asked them what I should do. They advised that theyd call Dave, the sales manager. A day later, I was told that they were informed Daves not here and that they were told that he was only the temporary sales manager. But I persisted. Mazda USA then advised that theyd contact Bryan, GM of the Hawk Motors Group, about this situation. When I next spoke to Mazda USA I was was advised that Bryan specifically told them that he would contact me directly and try to find an amicable solution to this situation. I never heard from him.Moral of the story, buy a Mazda as they are so much nicer than Hondas and Toyotas, but whatever you do dont buy your Mazda from Hawk Mazda in Joliet.

I worked with Mike Cummings in sales and worked over email about the certified used 2017 Mazda6 I finally bought. I was looking at couple others (same car) - one at McGrath Mazda in City and other at Wilkins Mazda but found McGrath really not interested in sale as no follow-up on questions etc. Also, did not get upfront pricing via email from them which Wilkins and Hawk Mazda both provided and tried to earn business by making good deal. Wilkins had good car about similar range with less miles but I wanted lighter interior which Hawk Mazda car had. So went with them. Gave good price and paperwork was smooth. Had a little hiccup along the way as its part of the game but overall not a bad experience.

Brought my Mazda CXV to Hawk Mazda Joliet, where I purchased the car, for body work following an attempted break in through the passenger window. Don Sorensen was very swift in ordering parts and the initial portion of the repair was done right away. Painting had to be done as well as a motor for the passenger window. When the paint had cured a few months later, I brought it back to seal the paint. Again, superior service and reasonable bill for entire repair.It wasnt the first time my car needed body work. After a rear end collision in 2019 Hawk took care of all of the repair and dealt with insurance company. Again I had the pleasure of working with Don Sorensen who oversaw the project start to finish. It took longer than expected but that was due to the other guys insurance company. Dons crew found additional critical steering related repairs that were needed which required them to get it approved through insurance.I could not be happier with the service I have received from Hawk from my salesman Jerry Costello, to Don Sorensen to the nice young man in the service department. I would not bring my car anywhere else!
Bought a new (to me) nissan here. It was smooth, as usual when buying a car the price kept going up as fees and taxes were added on, so 1800 off the sticker price ended up as 300 over the sticker price when we were done.Nice freiendly staff

Service performed routine 60000 mi. maintenance on my Mazda 3. Prepared to wait, but Robert M. offered a loaner. It was a CX-3. My last experience with this model was that its fuel economy left room for improvement. I declined but added, Unless you have a sedan. Robert came through! And he threw in a discount. Awesome customer care!

I can’t say enough great things about the Hawk Mazda Service Department. First and foremost, this was the first time I’ve ever needed to take a car to the dealer for service as my father or husband have always handled repairs and such. Needless to say, I was concerned with pricing, unnecessary repairs, etc. Manny was my service advisor; I couldn’t have asked for a more kind, caring, and communicative individual to work with. He always kept me updated on my car’s status and explained everything thoroughly. I’m unsure of the technicians name that worked on my car, but I commend all of his hard work and dedication in finding my car’s issue. Lastly, Robert, the other service advisor, had been extremely friendly and helpful throughout the checkout process.Hawk’s Service Department is the real deal. I will never hesitate to take my cars to Hawk as I am completely satisfied with all aspects of the experience and especially the cost.

My car buying experience at Hawk Mazda Joliet was generally unpleasant and unsatisfactory. In particular the sale and financial process, which includes negotiating the trade-in value and the discount from the new car’s MSRP, the various forms and documents including ‘doc’ fee, license plates, dealer installed optional equipment, rebates, and agreement to arbitration, etc. is worse than a visit to the dentist. Especially obnoxious are the sales contract and ‘order for a motor vehicle, which include various extended arithmetic calculations that are impossible to cross check or verify in the dealer environment. All of this is then presented by a robotic finance manager in a rushed manner designed to further confuse and overwhelm the prospective car buying customer. Of course, I recognize that all of this is classic auto dealer sales tactics. But I am an amateur at car buying. The auto dealership people are pros pros at car selling.I will complement my salesman, Dan McCarthy, who was very pleasant, professional, and helpful. And for what its worth, I accept responsibility for agreeing to a very mediocre quote from Hawk Mazda, which included a less than fair offer for my trade-in, and virtually zero discount on the new Mazda that I bought.My mistake.
Brought my 2500 Sierra Denali in for warranty repairs and was treated like royalty. Really friendly staff, from the help desk at receiving to the cashiers. Kept me up to date with daily calls updating me on the progress. The loaner was a TRUCK! I brought in a truck and was given a truck to use while the repairs were completed. It was a Chevy Silverado 2019. Mica was the one who helped me and she was friendly and upbeat. I appreciate how well they honor the warranty and didnt treat me like a second class person. They repaired my seat cause it broke and wouldnt recline evenly and gave me a NEW cushion because mine had a minor tear in it due to some wire poking through from the heated seat assembly, I think. I was really surprised they didnt fuss and try to just patch it . I have a new seat and am really impressed and love my truck that much more. Hawk Chevrolet is my new go-to dealership. Im a customer for life, and recommend this dealership to people who appreciate and expect great customer service.

This was the first time and the last time we will buy a vehicle from Hawk.Jerry, the salesman, was very polite and professional, unlike the Sales Manager.After we signed all the paper work for financing, we realized the Sales Manager had written the contract for a $1000 more than our agreed upon price. When we told him the amount was wrong, the Sales Manager said we must have misunderstood him. Then he gave us a bunch of different numbers and calculations and then he walked away.He was unwilling to discuss the change he made which increased our purchase price. Bait and Switch.
