Not only do I typically shop at Meijer but I also use Shipt service and frequently have my order delivered to my home. I have found that the Meijer brand of products are usually pretty good and comparable to name brands. The other thing I like is that Meijer typically does not run out of ad many items as the local competitors.

I love meijer but this location not so much. I drive to the Oswego location so I can actually pick up what I need.

The shop is immaculate. At the counter, there is a pleasant lady. Imported goods come in many shapes and sizes. Prices that are reasonable.

Diesel, diesel, diesel! I havent had much experience with the actual store but their gast station has the best diesel in town. Pumps are clean and best of all, their diesel mix is the top notch. Highly recommend. 👌

Best grocery store in Plainfield for one important fact. During lockdown in 2020 when certain supplies were very hard to find, the only place I could count on was Meiers.

Lately when I go there the shelves have been much more empty for product. I use to shop all the time there but have found since I don’t get a sales paper in the mail anymore I tend to go to jewel more frequently.

MORE THEN A GREETER !My 2 year old connected with Mary from Romeoville at our local Plainfield Meyers location. They met walking in and heading out again. We have seen Mary before but never like this xoxo. My heart melted and so did other shoppers...dont forget sweet Mary ( Mary is also the name of my deceased grandmother and this whole thing just hit home)

Great! They had ribs buy one get one free. Excellent deal as I went to a store in the area and one pack of rib was $17.00. Definitely will be back again.

If you are looking for any kind of herb or seasoning, I would encourage you to go to literally any other grocery store in the area. I am one more trip of not being able to find basic seasonings and herbs (fresh cilantro, fresh basil, ground cumin, poppy seeds today, husband couldnt find jalapenos last week) away from shopping at Jewel or solely going to our smaller local shops for everything.

I have to give a Meijers employee, 2 thumbs up. She was working in the self-serve checkout and she did a great job trying to help me out. I was looking for a particular item, which was Pineapple juice. You would think it should be in the juice isle. Well I spent quite abit of time there. Well no avail. So when I went to the checkout I told her about it she was more then happy to check it out. She went above and beyond and at the end of the story they were completely out of stock. But she apologized for it and I told her she wasnt the one responsible for ordering. I havent had an employee that went above and beyond for a very long time. Well anyways if there were a lot more people like her in stores it would be a real joy to shop again. I wish I got her name so she could receive personal recognition for a job well done.

I also, LOVE shopping at Meijer because its like a Target/J.C. Pennys store. I usually come here from Oat or Rice milk for my family, we love the different brands and choices.

Meijer sanitized all carts that leave the store. Other than that their produce are very fresh including their organic produce. Meijer has great prices all the time. And as always a great selection of groceries to chose from even if you have food allergies. You will never go wrong shopping at Meijer for food or clothes or even home goods. Meijer is the one stop shop and the workers there are very friendly and helpful.

We went for 5 things. Of those 3 were out. Shelves were so empty. Especially the bakery. I went to get a cake but only a couple to choose from. The label did not match what we got. I had a very upset 6 yr old who hates chocolate when label said white. They were busy and had long lines. Frustrating trip to say the least

Disappointed in the womens clothing selection this trip. But overall, a great store!

I love the Northern Lights candlesticks and Bed Bath& Beyond stopped carrying them. So great to find them at Meijer.

In stocks are usually spotty, but they occasionally have unusual items. Prices are high compared to other big box retailers.

Open more registers! Busier then h*ll and you have 3 registers open while employees are standing around. Thought I was in Walmart

I had 3 different workers ask me if I needed help. (I was riding the electric handicap cart.) Usually youre ignored in the stores. Also they had at least dozen electric carts, all plugged in and ready to go. Also, all were in great condition.

I was not allowed to buy beer and we told to leave the alcohol section because my brother-in-law didnt have his ID.. Hes 40yrs old and I was buying the beer.. I believe the women that told me to leave was profiling me and deliberately trying to give me a hard time because of her own personal beliefs and for some reason she did not like me ..Judging me based on how I look and or for something I said possibly when I was speaking to my brother-in-law.. I dont know why she did what she was doing. But as she was asking me to leave I saw children entering the alcohol section just running around the store playing and she said nothing to them.. The children were unsupervised and their mother had to come find them.. Im from Chicago and Ive been told and noticed since I moved to Plainfield that I have a Chicago accent. Something I was not aware of. Since I moved to Plainfield incidents like this happen when I go into stores and other places. Shes just didnt like me because I talk like Im from the city probably..

Did parking lot pickup. Had some issue with substitution when I had requested no substitute s. But was fine other than that

I tried to look at their ad on my phone and it will not let me unless I create an account. I tried to do the chat thing to see if there is a work around. It must be a computer generated chat because it was useless. Every time i click on the Meijer site I cant get past the pop up wanting me to create an account. Instead Im going to tonys

Very disappointed in this Meijer. Always seems to be out of stock on almost everything in dry grocery, dairy and produce regardless of the time of day I go. Shelves look shopped and no one bothers to front face, stock or pull product forward . 3pm on a Saturday and not a salaried member of management in sight and they should have been leading the charge stocking grocery. I would urge you to see how the Meijer back home on the east side of Fort Wayne runs the store. Maybe you should rethink the store management team in Plainfield???

People are always friendly. They have good sales and items I often cant find elsewhere.

I always prefer Meijer over the other competition...none needs to be said. I like that the store is clean, plenty lit,band space to shop! Much much much much better than...the others...........

The saint louis style ribs I purchased about a week ago were the worst cut of ribs that they called Saint Louis style ribs that I have ever eaten or I should say that I tried to eat I will not be buying my meat there in the unseen future. .They should be ashamed of themselves it spoiled our whole evening with a new recipe that I was using from American Test Kitchen cooked on the grill and not fall off the bone type .......

Meijer is many times cheaper than Jewel.They also have many more fruits and vegetables to choose from.

Store is getting better. They were restocking but they actually had more then 2 cashiers at the registers. Nice to see that, also liquor department change is very nice.

Wonderful! I hadn’t been to the store for anything in almost 2 weeks due to the craziness that was going on but was getting pretty bare. I went to the store around 1am to avoid the crowd and even though the store had hardly anything stocked due to the madness, several employees were in there stocking, cleaning and smiling. They all greeted me as I walked by and I thanked each and everyone of them for their hard work. Thank you to the wonderful staff here! Keep up the hard work and stay safe!

Went to meijer to buy reading glasses that are flexible so it will stand the test of time. The previous ones lasted a long time Im sure these will last also.This store is the only one where i found this type of glasses.Looked for kids toothbrushes with a small head but did not find any....so one star less for that...

I dont usually go to Meijer because there wasnt one close by me, however I found myself next to this Meijer today. I thought I would explore and I was so glad I did. Found the store clean and very nice. Also found some great prices. Going down the main walking path I found a ton of items that were ten for ten dollars and buy ten get the eleventh free. Ended my day with a cart full of pasta sauce, noodles,canned goods, and soup all for a really great price. This store is worth exploring if you are like me and havent been. Enjoy your next adventure

Always have what I’m looking for and everyone is friendly

This is one of the better grocery stores around. I can use this as a one stop shop because they have everything. Without this store I was going to multiple stores to find what I needed. They are open until midnight and due to covid our current walmart closes at 8pm so its super nice that Meijer stays open late. I have never encountered a rude employee there and I really enjoy thier large selection of items. Thier own brand items are also a lot of the times better than the name brand items. I shop here pretty normally.

Everything is easy to find, and the employees at the checkout are usually very happy and friendly. Staff around the store are pretty helpful.
