Quick...good service but even more expensive that an oil change at the dealership!

Im glad they were able to change the oil in my car when it was an emergency but their prices are a bit steep. But they were fast and there was hardly any wait period at all.

After an oil change, I noticed a burning smell and smoke coming from the passenger side of my Nissan Rogue. A trip to the dealership revealed there was oil spilled all over the top of the engine block though it had been nearly six weeks. As the weeks continued, I realized oil was dripping onto a driveway. A second trip to the dealership revealed that the seal was not properly placed. I was literally one large bump away from having all the oil dump out.I called the manager on duty today to inform them. Hopefully they can provide further training to their staff so others do not find themselves in this situation.

Went for oil change. At least 6 or 7 guys goofing around and ignoring me standing at their counter. They kept glancing over at me as I was just on the other side of the glass. After 10 minutes of this I went out and said is this how you treat customers? And they started laughing and waving goodbye to me. Wow! I told all my close neighbors, friends and family who will never use them again! I went to the Jiffy Lube off Rt 52 Jefferson and received the BEST customer service I have ever had. So it is not a Jiffy Lube thing, it is HORRIBLE training and ignorant people at the Plainfield Jiffy Lube.

Ive had great experiences here. Theyre fast and helpful! I had a stud break during a recent tire rotation, but didnt realize it until later and the manager, Marco, had it fixed it free of charge.

I went in to get an oil change and they never filled my car back up with oil after draining it and I had to deal with the repairs. A few months later, I went back and got my tires rotated and they never tightened the lug nuts on my car. Again, I dealt with the repairs.I’m never going back. F-ck this establishment.

Fast reliable service, very strait forward about what the could and couldn’t do. Only complaint is I couldn’t find a water fountain inside. 👍

They wouldve only received 1 star, however the DM was kind and listened to my complaint and tried to rectify what went wrong. I took my CT6 in for an oil change about a month ago. I noticed that my car was leaking oil. I thought it was from me hitting a pot hole so I brought it in to the shop to see if there was a crack. It turns out that my oil filter was never tightened and I lost almost all of my oil. Had I not brought it in on time, my engine would have suffered tremendously. Thank you to the DM who listened to me but I will not be coming back any longer.

I literally took my car to get a oil change. No lights on or anything. After my oil change i went home and noticed a ticking noise. I figured I would take it back to jiffy lube the next day. The best morning I tried to take it up there and my car legit stopped completely with the check engine light flashing. Long story short, my engine is gone and I didn’t even drive 30Miles after my oil change. The dealership said a rod was in my oil pan from their mistake! Luckily my warranty covers my car getting fixed or I would definitely sue this place. Terrible

Was quoted a price, then the sales clerk add charges that no other Jiffy lube charges. I have 4 cars that were serviced at this store. I will be going to the other shop in joliet. Honesty and integrity goes a long way .This shop has neither

Be very careful with these people and never take your eyes off them because they will rob you blind ! they told me that my car only takes a special synthetic oil so I said ok come to find out ( I called the dealership) that it doesnt ! They charged me double and im sure they put the regularoil in ! TAKE NOTE a simple oil charge that was only the oil and filter cost almost 70 dollars. like I said NEVER TAKE YOUR EYES OFF THEM and Question everything.

Oil was a mixture. Straight was about 85bucks.

I understand stand my car low but there know need make fun of it and be rude about it. The lady with nose piercing was cool and friendly. The guy that pulled my car in was respectful and actual knew how drive stick that pleasnt surprise. The gentleman in the pit was guy I did not like his tone or attitude.

I think that the people that work there need to have a little more experience Im working with the customers theyre not too customer friendly and in reality what theyre really trying to do is sell sell sell sell sell whatever it is what is there is a windshield wiper of quart of oil a belt anyting and I felt basically that I was being harassed by these people in there instead of just changing my oil check what they have to do and let me go about my business no they want to sit there and keep telling me all this is Ron this is going to be I just listen I dont care about that from I came here to get an oil change and I was very disappointed and one last thing I will never spend my money and another Jiffy Lube as long as I live

The shop is clean and well-maintained. The mechanics here seem to know what theyre doing and the waiting room is pleasant. There I a television, clean bathrooms, and some magazines to read. They even have coffee for those who are waiting for their car. They also do Lyft and Uber inspections. Would recommend it.

Needed a quick oil change and tire pressure was low; figured they’ll take care of it. When oil change is done the low tire pressure light is still on. Had to go back in and ask, “did you fill the tires?” They answer: “oh yeah, it’ll just take a few miles for the light to turn off.” I figure this was BS (even though they weren’t busy and there were no other customers) but drive off because I need to be somewhere. Sure enough - check the tire pressure when I get home and it’s 10 lbs low. I will never go to this jiffy lube again. I have had great experiences at every other jiffy lube I’ve been to, but to lie to a customer just to get out of filling up tires with air is deplorable.

This is second time they forgot to tighten plug or filter. It would be nearly impossible to prove negligence. I will not go back! Telling me it’s old oil they forgot to clean doesn’t hold water either. Cars are people’s livelihoods, until you Realize that i will never go back!.

I just done my oil change, the car been in bay not even 5 min, they told my its done, I paid 42$, went home and check oil level, was over full and then I got under my car and notice they not even replace my oil filter . The filter was dirty and old, I went back to them they wipe the filter and put the date on it and told me the its new filter and if I want to change again I have to pay . Never came back again

I beem going here for the last 4 years with my 2015 chevy malibu little did i know this people use conventional oil but charge for synthetic oil i never notice until 3 months ago i was on a road trip i had my oil change in kansas and it lasted me 8500 miles by the time my car was asking for am oil change. And with jiffy lube every 4500 miles it was already saying i needed an oil change so what does that mean either this people are using conventional oil on our cars or used oil. Im so mad and i fid have an experience 2 days ago that i wAs there another guy had a car like mine but he paid 53 dollars not 78 like me after a 10 dollar off i supposedly get. This people are Ripoffs

They over tightened my oil filter where I can’t take it off. Went to them to loosen it up a little bit. Waited in line for my turn. When they found out that I wasn’t getting an oil change, they put me behind 2 other cars. Would take all but a minute to losen the filter. No longer a costumer.

So far have had good experiences with this place. I get in tell em what I need then they offer things I might have forgotten and usually if there isnt a crazy line Im out on 20 minutes. They always check my fluids and even though I dont really like pennzoil its not crazy pricey

I was a little leary of coming in with some of the negative reviews. However, I was treated with utmost respect. The mechanic even found a torn hose I wasnt even aware of. He brought me out to the car to show me to be sure I knew where it was. Then he discussed how often I should get my oil changed, as I am burning a little oil as well. Very professional staff, and thorough as well.

I took my vehicle to this location on 19 June 2017 for a tire rotation and oil change. Their computer systems were down and everything was done manually. They took my credit card information down and my total was $92.41. On 21 June 2017 these jack offs submitted an invoice for $92.41 and a additional $89.14. THEY WILL SEE ME AGAIN TODAY!! DO NOT GO HERE. TOOOOOOOO DAMN EXPENSIVE FOR A OIL CHANGE AND TIRE ROTATION!!

I can’t believe what they did to my car! I didn’t realize anything at first but when it came time to change my oil again I went to another Jiffy Lube closer to home and only for them to tell me that the people over at Jiffy Lube Plainfield did something that caused the old oil to be taken out and changed. Crazy absolutely crazy. How am i supposed to change my oil now when you people dont know how to even do your job!!!! shame! probably ruined my car now! Do not go here !!! unless you want them to ruin ur car !!!

Been a customer of this jiffy lube for a few years, took my car in for an oil change, next day noticed oil drips on garage floor, took it back, they said they fixed it and topped off the oil, next day still drips on floor and oil level is 1/2 quart low

Ive had no issues with this particular location. Oil changes performed as expected, filters and other items checked and no pressure to sell me new parts or services.

Reasonable prices and had a coupon which was $8 off. They told me i needed a new oil pan and i got it looked at by a mechanic, i did not need a new oil pan but i do have a leak.

Failed to properly replace skid plate on civic, which is now bent and needs to be replaced. Theyve previously forgotten to replace fluid caps as well. Other Jiffy Lube locations are ok, but this one is terrible and not to be trusted.Edit: The second car I took in the same day, a 2015 civic, they forgot the transmission fill cap and there is what I can only assume is trans fluid all over. This is the same cap they forgot a few months back. Two cars and two oversights, apparently you have to check your own car after they check your car or you may be spewing fluid and throwing sparks up 55 the next day. Manager best attempt to make things right tomorrow morning.Follow up:They replaced the skid plate, cleaned the fluid that spilled from the trans plug, checked the trans fluid and said it was ok somehow. Dont go on a Saturday I guess.

I got my oil changed here and one of the new employees got my hood prop stuck in my hood and bent it up pretty good. However, they came right out and talked to me about it. Replaced my hood and the hood prop that had to be cut to close the hood. Brian did all the follow up with to make sure it got taken care of.

If you dont want to ruin your car like they did to mine, then dont get your oil change there. My hood now cant be open. The manager say its common problem for my car. It was perfectly fine before the oil change there. Yes, it common that youll mess people car up. I usually go to next door Tuffy but theyre booked that day. oh well, now Im paying $1200 just for the oil change.

Tried to get me to replace my K&N filter....

Ive asked my wife to change oil at J.L.Usually doing this myself,but that day I was too busy.When she get back Ive check dipstick and it shows 0.5 inch overfill, I also notice missing oil pan cover underneath,that needs to be removed to access drainplug.Went back,they claimed that there is no need to remove any cover,so there was none,and suggest that I check oil on unlevel surface.They took it to the shop,10 mints later show me that dipstick shows right amount (other guy was underneath washing cars underbody)so probably they drain excessive oil.Manager told me that I should check the engine oil when car is running!!!STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT HAVE SEVERE DAMAGE DONE TO YOUR CAR oil overflow can blow your engine off plus you will loose some parts.
