Visiting this office is like visiting friends. They are so warm and kind but still professional. We never felt hurried, they answered all our questions fully. Gentle and patient with my 86 year old mom and my performed free screening on my husband. Easy access for handicapped, lots of parking.

Bill, Jolee, and Janet are great, I’m on my third set of hearing aids, the first two sets were battery-operated and then I talked with the staff and I decided to go with rechargeable hearing aids for my third set and they are wonderful, I like not having to keep replace the batteries.

I do not write reviews but they deserve it. We took my 102 year old grandmother in, she did not want any part of it, the ladies where so nice and comforting it really helped make it easier. They lent us the hearing aid to try out for a week but after 3 days she did not like it, we where giving up on it, old people dont like change, when we went to return them we sat down to talk about our concerns and made some adjustments she was more than happy with the results she had no excuses left. She is looking forward to getting the custom fit ones. If you are looking for actual help and not a corporate sales person just walk in and in 5 minutes you will know why I took the time to write this.1

Customer service orientated, especially to veterans. Janet has been very helpful in assisting my 91 year old uncle keep his hearing aides clean and maintained where other companies charge for this service. This has been a big help to us and is very much appreciated. She also made arrangements for his damaged hearing aide to be repaired when I thought was non-repairable, a much cheaper option than having to buy a new one. Thank you, Janet!

On my 3rd set of hearing aids, and Bill, Janet and Jolee are tremendous at what they do. Ive had cheap aids dispensed years ago with no follow up or re-calibration! Bills main concerns are proper diagnostics, proper fitting, fine tuning and follow up and education. Any new HA user needs to re-learn how to hear again! This is not a gimmick! Believe me Ive experienced both methods and Bills techniques are crucial.Bills Foundation is designed to assist Vets and others with hearing assistance, with limited incomes.Janet keeps the place running smoothly, and is very knowledgeable regarding cleaning and upkeep of the devices.You dont necessarily have to spend 5-8 grand on hearing aids! Placerville Hearing Aid Center has a full range of quality products for most budgets.My wife is also another satisfied customer now!

This office is very friendly and professional. The moment you walk in the office, Molly and Clara are always genuinely warm and caring about your needs. Bill Forrest, the new owner is very caring and professional, bringing new technology to my attention. He tested my hearing, verification fitting with live speech mapping. It was very interesting to see my hearing pattern on the same screen with three different tests.One graph was my normal hearing pattern without aids. The second graph was my hearing loss. And the third graph was where I hear when Im wearing my aids. It was great! Mr. Bill Forrest also gave me a complimentary pack of batteries for my hearing aid! You cant get much better than that. :-)

I had an issue with my right hearing aid. The Center got me right in and Bill Forrest took care of the issue right away. I left with a renewed feeling of confidence in Cognitive Hearing Center.

We have used Placerville Hearing Aid Center for many years. They have always gone above and beyond normal service to make sure we are fitted correctly, the units are working and clean and that we get good value for our money. The owner, Bill is a very caring and charming man who knows his stuff when it comes to those of us older fok with hearing challenges. His very wonderful assistant, Janet is awesome...always making sure we get what we came for and have some fun while were doing it. They are working very hard to improve my hearing as I have a very high Freq loss and have difficulty understanding word that I hear. Hopefully they will find a solution?
