Bought a fridge from HD... Paid for extra warranty. Took 2 weeks for delivery to get a refrigerator that would not get down to temperature. All of our food was destroyed.Home Depot would not offer a loaner, they had no replacement, and the soonest we could get a repair person out would be over a week. It would take a month and a half for us to get a replacement... Managers only option was for us to come in and buy another refrigerator, then return it when our BRAND NEW ONE was fixed.Zero customer service... all they would say is sorry... youll have to wait. USELESS!

I have yet to have a bad experience at this location. Place is well organized and most of the staff are friendly. My only complaint is having to wait (sometimes extremely long) for someone to unlock certain things. Also, another very inconvenient thing is that most workers arent very knowledgeable..

I love this location. They are clean, have great instocks and garden dept is well taken care of. Lots of good serviceWe were on our way out with 4 large plywood pieces. I saw a young man who was pulling in 2 large carts like we were using. I was not looking forward to helping my husband lift these heavy plywood into our truck. All of a sudden the same young man I saw was right at the back of our truck helping my husband! He saw us coming out the door and knew it was going to hard for me. You dont see this often enough and I appreciate that kind of service. I asked him his name so I could do a review. Hopefully his boss gives him some recognition. Bought our new 5 burner gas stove with center griddle today at an excellent price. Too bad delivery isnt until next week since Kamps Propane is coming out this week to set up the propane service. Feel bad they will have to come back to hook up to the stove. You cant just purchase appliances and take home that same day since they have to be ordered and we couldve came back with the truck if they had it in stock. Also, found the French door, 3 drawer refrigerator we want to match the gas stove so happy about that too 😁

Ran in for a single item yesterday.Also had to use the restroom.Restroom was clean, thought I think the paper towel dispenser was broken as the roll was on top of it, not in it.After collecting my item I rolled it up front and a staff member assisted me in finding an open check stand.Overall a positive experiences.

This was the worst experience Ive ever had in home depot! I was in this store for 2 HOURS trying to find TURTLE WAX! I asked so many different employees and every single one of them sent me in a different direction as the last. I finally gave up and was on the hunt for bird seeds and yet again numerous employees sent me on a wild goose chase. I got lawn seeds. I was send to gardening. I was send back towards lawn seeds... I finally lost my patience and found them. Then had to go back to turtle wax and once again was sent up and down cleaning aisles, automotive, I even ended up in septic system repair at one point. So needless to say a store training of WHERE STUFF IS LOCATED IS DESPERATELY NEEDED!!!!!!

Very unique Home Depot. The exterior matches the homes in the area with the rock columns. Since this location is out in the country it sells water tanks and animal fencing. The employees were helpful and knowledgeable on item locations. I will visit this location again when Im in the area.

This is a love hate relationship. Im at Home Depot at least several times a week and have learned the names of most of the regular carry out staff and checkers. Even so its challenging to find help, as half the staff dont know the answer or you have to walk half the store and/or hover in front of the break room trying to find help, let alone load heavy stuff yourself if you dont go early in the day. Otherwise some days its like most of the staff forgot to take their bi-polar medication because theyre rude and snap at you. I will say that I did notice that some new staff had some slight disabilities or were in wheelchairs, which really impressed me that Home Depot was hiring capable people that might have been overlooked elsewhere because of their disabilities. I wish that the Placerville store was bigger and had more items like in Folsom, but its enough to get by.

Me and my husband went to home Depot and got some wood and the old man in the wood section was very rude along with this younger kid he was rude cuz we made a comment on how high the wood was he replied with your eyes dont deceive you with an attitude. They need a lot better customer service and more carts . As youre still talking to them they will ask answer other peoples questions instead of responding to you.

If you live on a small private road in El Dorado County, Home Depot cannot deliver a small load of lumber. The lumber was placed on a 38’ semi. Fortunately, before leaving the store, the driver called me and realized he could not maneuver the required turns. We rented a U-Haul for the next day, and went to the Placerville Store to pick up the $2,000 lumber order. Home Depot Staff loaded the lumber into the U-Haul, and then the (currently) 8 calls to request a refund of the $79 delivery charge had begun. The explanation is β€œHome Depot has issued you a refund, please wait 5 days to post to your credit card”. The credit never arrives. If you place a lumber order, please compare your β€œOriginal Receipt” with Home Depot’s β€œOnline Receipt”. While the $79 delivery charge was removed, additional CA Lumber Fees of $103.06 were added and Sales Tax was over calculated. Don’t have Home Depot deliver, it’s just not worth the hassle.

Not much to say, you get in and get out with what you need, some prices are rip off and some are reasonable, sometimes you find what you need and sometimes youre baffled that they dont carry what we consider as common need. We almost always to self check out so cant really rate the moral of the caliber of people hired. Sometimes theres a friendly helper on the floor and sometimes theres too busy of a worker on the floor to even see your presence, its always a hit and miss experience. Remember, you may find a great price on one item you come in for but theyll charge a ridiculous price on the second item that relates to the first, so do your homework and be informed and then you can be as professional or as unprofessional as they can be.

To say that I’m done with Home Depot’s customer service would be an understatement. Time and time again they consistently underdeliver, or in this instance say outlandish things to justify the lack of ability to deliver on a product or service. The only time I’ve ever gotten good service is when I personally knew an associate who helped me. I’ve even had employees directly tell me not to buy something. The last straw was being told after seeing something in stock on their website available for pickup was that β€œThey’ve never had it in stock” and then β€œThose inventory numbers aren’t accurate.... People steal things all the time”. An assistant manager did get me what I went in for initially, but not after proving that their apathy toward customer service is rampant, and unacceptably still present.

STORE MANAGER IS NOT QUALIFIED TO MANAGE THIS LOCATION BY LEAPS AND BOUNDS. Civil conversation and this wasnt a heated moment, he just was unwilling to do a return with my receipt in hand for 120 dollars for a Milwaukee vacuum that was right out of the box. No scratches no use NO reason to deny my return. His reasonings, he didnt have enough cash to do my return. This is unacceptable. I believe he is lieing to me due to the fact that its at the end of the day when the store is full of cash. They dropped it already in the vault? Please they dont leave the store with no money in the register and even if they did there was several customers paying cash and the bottom line is this manager (excuse me I forgot to ask his name but I will be and Ill fix this reply and add it) was not doing his job. Point blank. Policy says the store does returns and hes refusing. No cash is a excuse. Home Depot any location does thousands of dollars a day in sales and if he wanted to he would have and could have done a whopping 120 dollar return new item receipt in hand and packaging and instructions you name it. He mentioned his supervisor was on vacation and If the manager cant keep customers happy and cant handle issues that the customers have when the supervisor is on vacation then a new manager is necessarry and Im going to review you and I hope that anyone who reads this chooses to spend your money else where unless this manager and store gets their act right. Last but not least he was what looked like influenced by his cashier who said she didnt have enough cash. Called the manager and manager said the same problem. $120.00. go get the cash then mr.incompetent manager (name unknown my apologies). I would hate to think the decisions this guy makes with more stressful situations. And is he the manager and managing this store or is his cashier making the calls. Hours are from opening to 8 on Sunday. This location should be fully operational untill then. If its not then wake up make your bed put on your shoes, tie them tight and make it fully operational sir. Manage this location so that it is. Especially when your super is away. Ill be notifying coperate and the supervisor when hes back. Ill also be applying for manager position and if I become the new manager, this store will be customer friendly, ran so that customers are satisfied all while maintaining daily floor operations and all other manager duties. If the return is valid then you bet you will be getting your 120 dollar return. This is America. This is a fail for home Depot. They should Rename this location incompetent manager Depot. We got em in stock and ready to fail Elementary customer service. FAIL. GET IT RIGHT OR MOVE ALONG MR UNKNOWN incompetent manager sir. Thank you. Small issue and huge fail. No big deal for me. I go tomorrow. What time will you have cash in the register? Oh I have to guess? Will I have to ask the customers waiting in line how much thier purchases are? I havent seen anywhere else better customer service than this Home Depot. They stay and help and guide you till you are fully satisfied. Im a new resident of Grizzly Flats coming from the Bay Area, San Francisco and I can tell you good luck asking for a screwdriver anywhere else..they will tell you isle whatever and walk away..or even worse tell you to ask someone else that they too busy...This doesnt work here...here people will almost hold your hand and guide you to the isle and make sure you get the right item if not they will find a solution to save your day! I ordered a LG Electronics 5.0 cu. ft. High Efficiency Mega Capacity Smart Top Load Washer with TurboWash3D and Wi-Fi Enabled in White, ENERGY STAR on November 26th, I was told it would be delivered on December 1st. When December first arrived we became aware that my washer was being sent to a different city and somehow the wrong Zip was entered. The delivery driver told me he would not deliver it and I would have to contact the store. I called the store and spoke to the most incompetent customer service rep. She told me they would have to refund me and I would have to reorder everything and that they could not change the address, after I was told they could change my address. I was not very happy with this idea and was told I would get my full refund in a couple of days but I had to pay for a new one. This was Monday and it is now Friday, I still do not have a full refund and I have paid twice for this washer. When reordering I questioned how soon this delivery would happen and if not soon I will take my money elsewhere. She stated it would be delivered as early as Friday and no later then Saturday. Well guess what, I received a phone call on Thursday stating they would not be able to deliver my washer until Monday! If I knew this ahead of time I would have completely canceled my washer and gone to a different store. Nobody has tried to help me to resolve this and instead just keeps screwing me over. I should have listened to my coworker and gone to Lowes or Best Buy!

This place is always disappointing. The staff all walk around like zombies, clearing smoked out on pot. The boys took me to pick out a plant for Valentines Day (I love plants) and all the plants that were indoor and very large, were severely damaged. I picked one out, but didnt notice how bad it was until we got it outside.A nice Home Depot guy saw us checking it out and said theyll give you a discount. (By now I had a $40 pot picked and other items) So we go to check out. The guy at the register was arguing with the guy who appeared to be a manager. When it was my turn I shared that the other guy told me it would be no problem to get a small discount for as frayed and hammered the plant was.The manager who was a younger guy with brown hair said, no we cant give you a discount, well just send it back for vendor credit. I just grabbed my wallet & left. What customer service.

I went to the home depot in Placerville California on 6-6-19 around 6:00 p.m. and went to the garden department to purchase several sacks of rocks....I waited in line for the cashier to get someone to help me load the rocks....she said shell get someone....I waited around 15 minutes in front of the rocks and no one came....I went to her again and she said that they know Im there and as soon as they are done with the forklift they will assist me....I waited another 20 minutes and no one came....they closed the door to the parking lot and they left the department leaving me without any assistance....I went into the store and found an associate name Arthur....what a fabulous young man...he helped me immediately by getting a pallet jack to move the pallet of rocks to be able to get to the sacks...he was extremely courteous, he checked in with his boss to let the boss know where he was at and what he was doing....Arthur is a wonderful asset to home depot.....he is very responsibleI was extremely disappointed in the garden associates after over a half hour of waiting to no avail....but Arthur came to my rescue immediately.....thank you Arthur
