Great food at this spacious diner. The eggs were cooked perfectly. I had scrambled and my partner had over easy. Really tasty hash browns too... great looking menu. Cant wait to go back for lunch.
Went here as a party of five they only had a few tables and yet wasnt greeted or seated for some time. Then only half of the party enjoyed the food and actually ate. I had to go up to try and pay my bill because our server was no where to be found which was for most of our meal and we were just done and wanted to leave. Yet they said I needed to wait for her to handle the check. Over all it was completely disappointing and the service and the food wasnt that good. I dont know what happened because it used to be amazing but after my last visit I dont ever plan on returning and that goes with the rest of the people I was with.
Many things on the menu seem like they could have been good choices for a main course. The best part of the experience was the decor and the initial greeting. The servers seem very experienced. Pro tip: Avoid the shift change; Stick to ideal breakfast, lunch, and dinner hours for fresh food and a fluid service experience.
Misty has great food and a great atmosphere. I love their philly cheese steak
Pretty good food. Nothing greasy and all tasted fresh. Place is key clean, even the bathroom, on a busy Sat. Says a lot about a food establishment. I only didn’t give it a 5 because there wasn’t any gluten free option in terms of bread. Even with a non-gf kitchen, an alternative is easy to manage. It’s otherwise a good place.
Food was fantastic. SLOW service but worth the wait. THEY also serve a great mimosas!
Had Meagan as our server, she was awesome. The biscuits and gravy were incredible. My hubs loved his cheese omelette and home fries. Highly recommend!
Great little place. Only one that had my wifes lobster roll. Will have to go back when I have time.
I had a huge burger and fries . Awesome hand made burger, juicy...? If it runs down your arm while you try eat it, its perfect. And it is.
Cute and busy place with friendly service and great food! Lemon ricotta blueberry pancakes were incredible!
Stopped in and ordered breakfast this evening as they serve breakfast all day! Good service! Food came very quickly! Rye toast was great! Bacon was cooked perfectly! Scrambled eggs were just a little over cooked! Love the home fries! My wife had bisquits and gravy with home fries and scrambled eggs! Check em out!
Waitress was great meal was good didnt take long to get to me
What ever happened to a great breakfast? Well, youll still get it at Mistys.
Great place, reasonable prices. Good food. Very friendly people. Looks like a 50s atmosphere. Would recommend to anybody. Will definitely be going back
I was in the area visiting the local dispensaries when I stumbled into this little dinerFood was surprisingly good and freshI will definitely visit again
Decoration is very nice like the old time diners. Kids love it! Food was pretty good, portions generous and fresh. Price was fair and service was good.
I love this diner. The staff are very nice and very helpful. The food is very good. Highly recommended.
Love Misty Moonlight.. old style decor and feel. Great food.
Great breakfast diner! Service was excellent and menu well executed!
Their fried pickles and the ruben was incredible!
Delicious diner food. 1950s style diner themed.
First time here and I walked in and waited at the hostess stand as instructed per sign but stood there for about three minutes before anyone came to seat me. In this timeframe, there were two employees who saw me yet kept walking (no greeting or anything). The hostess was not very happy. Our waitress was nice but did not tell me they were out of fish until I decided that is what I wanted to order. Sure, people forget those things but it was frustrating. Then as we got our check, she said “have a nice day,” and walked away. Our food was good but most of the workers had a “I do not want to be here nor help you,” attitude. I would visit here once again because I understand that places have down days but if I run into the same type of issues then I probably would not go back or really recommend it. And I am willing to change my review if things get better on the next visit.
The best biscuits you will ever have! I was out running errands and hadn’t eaten. It was late lunchtime (1:00) and I was in the mood for a quick portable breakfast but not from a fast food place.I was able to order online. Their online ordering system is fantastic and is very detailed so you get exactly what you want, how you want it.I ordered a biscuit and sausage patties a la carte. I didn’t realize the side was 2 patties - bonus! What a great sausage biscuit sandwich! The sausage patties are large and fit perfectly on the biscuit. The biscuit is so light and fluffy. Hubby said it’s the best biscuit he’s ever had. (I need to up my game!)My order was ready super fast and I was back on the road running my errands in no time with no mess in the car. The biscuit held together nicely and did not break apart or crumble and somehow managed to be light & fluffy at the same time. The staff was friendly and hustling as they were busy. I looked around the dining room. Customers were all happy and smiling. Great place for families, couples or flying solo. Love the vibe here.I wish we were staying in the area longer because there are several menu items I would like to sample and experience dining in with this crew.
I love it here, food is great and service is always phenomenal.
Excellent food. Great Service. Youll enjoy it. Unusual items had Lobster Benedict Delicious
Plenty to eat. Reasonable prices.
This is such a friendly amazing place it feels like you walked in to the 60s the food very reasonably and it is soooooo good I had a cheese burger and my wife had a roast beef club. The burger was the best Ive ever had and it was cooked perfectly!
Went into the restaurant. Hostesses tells us 25 minutes. Watched 11 people leave. 35 minutes later waiting for a text. No text. Go back in, Hostesses tells another 2 minutes. Go outside wait 10 more minutes. Screw it went to Kellys instead. Waited 5 minutes got a table. Finally after 1hour 10 minutes i get a text table ready. Well at i was half done with breakfast.
Excellent food, excellent service. Reasonably priced. Very enjoyable breakfast!
Great food. Fine service. And no tv’s
The food was good and da help. Fantastic
Good food, nice atmosphere and great service
Went there at 7am one waitress but she was trying.. Food was good . coffee not good
First time going, food was amazing! Had the fried clam strip special and it was delightful.
Love love love this place!! Still the original set up and the food is always delicious. And the staff are super nice & accommodating.
Was in town for a friends funeral and met up with some good friends there. The staff was friendly and the food was good just like I remember it.
Food good extremly friendly and competent server
Amazing food, I love the atmosphere here. Great service. Always stop by if you get a chance.
I accidentally called here instead of Williamstown. They couldn’t refund the card after an honest mistake was made. I was told that I could go pick it up or wait to talk to the owner on Monday. I told her that I couldn’t pick it up as I was already waiting in Williamstown. The manager repeated that I could go pick it up after I stated that it wasn’t possible. I let her know that was bad business practice to do to her customers. She said that I clearly wasn’t a customer. I told her that now she knows why. She then hung up on me. This was the manager that I spoke with. They offered nothing to rectify the situation. They made no attempt to start a positive relationship with a potential customer. I simply asked for leniency for an honest mistake.
Breakfast is always good here your essentials eggs bacon and coffee. But also a few eclectic options as well
Prices are very good, service is good, the food is good to very good. Your kids will like eating here, although dont expect gourmet food, its a diner after all.Parking is never an issue. The place is pretty clean, and the food, while not adventurous, is always consistently good. Interior decor is throwback 50/60 simple.
45 minute wait for breakfast. Sorry. Too hungry to stand in line. Cant make reservations. Went to Kellys diner. 10 minute wait and awesome food!
Good food. Great staff.
Been coming here for years, always excellent service and food, dont miss an opportunity to try it
Love the bread used for toast.
Im Typically wary of diners as they always seem to have mediocre food and disaffected staff. However this place was a great surprise. The staff was very friendly, accurate and attentive. I was encouraged by the wide variety of menu items. I ended up ordering the Judy Garland (their own roast beef, sliced thin, sautéed onions, Swiss cheese, au jus), handcut fries and a starter of a cup their Chili. Chili in Diners, At least for me, Can be hit-or-miss with a majority being a miss. However there Chile did not disappoint I was really enjoying it. Then out came the Judy Garland on a very moist roll. If you like 5 guys French fries youll love these fries as well. I cant wait to go back and try some other things there as the menu has lots of potential good meals.
This place fell off for a while. But they made significant changes in the food...now I love eating there. Can catch the staff on off days though which is a bummer...but no hate..they people too
Ate there 1st time last week will go back again. Great service good food.
Great service as alway. Good food.
Overcooked my food. They said that its overcooked due to being in a Styrofoam container! (Lol) Refuse to give credit towards next meal.
Great tasting, affordable food and a wait staff thats the best in the Berkshires.
I use to eat there every Saturday morning when I lived in Pittsfield, even when it was I St Lukes square. I moved away 11 years ago to CA a d whenever I return to Pittsfield, I make sure I have breakfast at least once before I leave town. This trip I was able to go 2 times with my nieces and nephews. Same great food and friendly staff. I will see you when I am back in town. Thank you Misty Moonlight Diner.
I have been coming for years! I love the retro atmosphere - the black and white checkered tiles and the red booths! On the walls look at the various pictures of Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, and of various products from days gone by. Misty Moonlight serves delicious diner food, from Reubens to fried clams. From the time we were seated, we had great service. I did order a Reuben, and my friend ordered the Chubby Checker sandwich. Our food came out quickly and was fresh. Definitely worth the travel (an hour from where we live) for the atmosphere, the food, and the staff! Prices also very reasonable - under $40 for two people buying soup, sandwiches, and raspberry tea. 😊
Friendly staff, nice decor with movie and music memorabilia. Ordered a burger with egg, peppers, onions, etc, friend had a veggie burger, both were delicious and not too expensive. Would recommend and return.
For a breakfast place you think it would have been a bit faster. We were there for one hour. When our food cam out my eggs were luck warm at best same with my wifes eggs bennie. You would think with only half the tables they would want to turn them quicker. Waitress was good not great. But good. I blame the kitchen for taking so long.
Delicious food and great service
Great food and service.
In Massachusetts but felt like a Jersey diner
Sorry to say, this is the first bad food I have had here. The fishermans platter.Greasey, fried in old oil. With market price. I was very disappointed.
Modern diner with 1950s vibe. Food is good, but a little pricey for the fifties!
Place was great old fashioned eatery
The service was great and we had a great waiter that day
Three wordsBiscuits and gravy
Amazing place and phenomenal food. I took Hot Mama and my good was incredible. Very nice staff. Super recommended.
We stopped in around 5pm on a Friday. There were 2 other tables with people, 3 people total, we made it 5. The hostess was nice enough. She got us seated and brought us drinks immediately and told us the waitress would be with us shortly. The lone diner already had food and the waitress took the order of the people that were there before us, obviously this isnt the issue. Then she went and started chit chatting with other employees. The other tables food came out and after delivering it to the table she went back to yapping. She didnt once ask us if we were ready, if we wanted an appetizer, if we needed help with the menu, she just acted like we werent even there. She was no more than 5 feet away from us, I know she saw us. We got up and left, after at least 15 minutes of being ignored it wasnt worth it to stay. On our way out, the waitress that acted like we were invisible hollered have a nice day. Oh, so now you see me? I continued walking and gave her the same treatment that she gave us.
Worth every penny.
Food was good weWill be back soon
Good food, great service, reasonable prices. Will come again when I am in town.
Cant go wrong! Misty is a standby go-to restaurant for almost any occasion. The fun decor, easy to find location and endless menu are the reasons for keeping this gem on the map.Step back in time as you check out the cool memorabilia and ling for the time when every restaurant would give you the ample portions that Misty heaps upon your plate. I doubt anyone leaves hungry and Im packing a to-go box at each visit. The prices are fair, the food is great and the upbeat atmosphere is not to be missed!
Amazing. I have gone here for so long. It is part of my life. The only thing is it takes a while for your food to come and they don’t have everything on their menu. Overall slow but worth the wait.🥞
Fantastic friendly cheap full large meals!
Best breakfast I had in years
I had breafast there with 2 friends today. Awesome service and the food was awesome.
The food was great
A 40 minute wait to get inside. Sat inside for 10 minutes, our waiter didnt acknowledge us once. Finally someone else came over and took our drink order. Waiter finally noticed us and told us he would be with us, twice. Waited another 20 minutes. Waiter took our order. Order came out wrong and disappointing. Very sad, this place had great reviews.
As always food was great & so was service.
Food was horrible, no milk alternatives available, and it took about an HR and 15 mins to get through breakfast. The bagels are definitely frozen, and they couldnt be bothered to melt the cheese on a breakfast sandwich. The waitress was nice but all in all, really not a good place to eat
Really good food
Its ok.used to be better.
Very nice place to eat, good food, great atmosphere and crew very hospitable ❤
Great. Breakfest yummy.
Excellent as always
Worst experience ever!!!!When you ask 4 individual servers for a refill on a cup of coffee and the standard response is just a minute over a 15 minute period of time. You get up and walk out! Its obvious you havent got your act together!NEVER.....NEVER......NEVER.....AGAIN!
In my opinion its probably one of the nicest old time restaurants Ive been in in years . The food was great as well as the help . Would recommend you go there .
I keep up thou the hard.tome God bless its always ok
Stopped in because the place is my namesake after all. Their fifty’s theme decor throughout and era appropriate music are fun, but here’s the truth: the food is damned fine; burgers are real and cooked to order, and where else can you score a burger and fries for ten bucks? Staff were friendly and attentive. Great place for real good diner food at a great value in a fun atmosphere. Doing Misty’s everywhere proud.
It was amazing. Last time I went I was very disappointed. This time it was perfect. The service was A+ The food was A+ and my waitress was so friendly.
This diner is a fun way to grab a quick bite. It is a 50s theme type restaurant that Fonzie would fit right in with. The burgers are good, with the rest of the food average. They do make a great milkshakes. You can belly up to the soda bar or claim a booth the juke box is always on.Bring the kids and have a good time.
