People say coffee is ☕.........🤔🤔 ummmmmmmm heck no. Best place in the burgh to get fresh ground beans from around the world, anyway you like. They also have a large selection of teas and herbs, blended into pretty much any combo you want. The staff are friendly and fast. They also have brewed drinks, hot and cold to go...also quite delicious. Im sure theyre going to know me by name soon😁

I do cold brew coffee and I do iced tea blends, and you really cant beat Presto if youre into either of these things. They roast their coffee in hundred year old roasters...everything turns out a little darker than you would get at a different shop, but it ends up retaining the more nuanced flavors of the beans in spite of this, making for singularly excellent cold brew unlike anything Ive had. The closest to it would be Blue Bottle coffee, and Presto is a lot cheaper and still better.For tea, they have hundreds of options, theyre all good, they blend together well, and the guys in the back can often make you custom flavors and blends if you ask them to and give them a little lead time. Ive made some of the best teas Ive ever had by just heading to Presto, grabbing a few things, and experimenting at home. If Im being really honest, I probably owe Presto for teaching me to love and appreciate tea as much as I loved coffee.On top of all of that, the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, and the ones who have been there for a minute really know their stuff...Sarah knows more than anyone about coffee and tea, Phil knows a ton about herbal tea, Dre and Jeremy have drank more different kinds of coffee than just about anyone I know and are always experimenting with stuff...the staff has a wealth of knowledge, and theyre happy to talk shop with you on the less busy days.Presto is the best coffee shop in Pittsburgh. There are plenty of other 5 star shops, but someone has to be the best, and its them.

I’ve only had one experience here, but I plan to go back because it was such a wonderful experience. You walk in and are immediately hit with the lovely scents of different teas and as you walk further back coffee filters in, as well. It’s such a pleasant, quaint store. There are hundreds of teas to choose from, to mix and match, and the employees are VERY friendly - offering advice and tips and suggestions. Can’t wait to come again!

Very cool place! So many teas and coffees to choose from youll wish there was a quiz you could take to figure out which ones youd actually like in the first place. Sure, you can sniff them and you might be able to tell, but the fact is, the taste is different from the smell. They use a 100+ year old coffee roaster to roast all of their beans. Very cool experience and worth the trip to the Strip!

What a variety of teas and coffees in this place! We bought the Honduras coffee and the Haitian Blue, both ground at the store for our percolator at home. Both coffees are delicious! Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and the store doubles as a café. I ordered a good old cappuccino, and it really hit the spot. The barista was cool as hell, too! Love this shop.

The best place to get coffee in Pittsburgh! They have a huge assortment of whole bean coffee and loose leaf tea for purchase. My favorites are Yirgacheffe, Sumatra Mandheling and Kona. The smell as you walk in here is so aromatic and robust with the all the varied notes from all the different beans. It’s olfactory Nirvana! If you don’t a certain coffee, it’s ok, just ask the amazingly friendly and knowledgeable staff for help and they’ll get you something you’re sure to enjoy. Be sure to also try their fresh, roasted peanuts. So good. Cheers!

During COVID-19 they have implemented safety policies which help keep everyone healthy. Highly recommend calling ahead to have your order ready when you get there.

Ordered coffee online on 16 December as part of a Christmas gift. The coffee order was only shipped 22 December and will not be received until 28 December. This is extremely disappointing and is a real inconvenience. I realize the Coronavirus is creating issues, but I purposely purchased a gift of coffee (3 coffee products) locally to support a Pittsburgh Company and now I have to go out and get another gift. If a company cannot fulfill their orders, then they should not accept orders. Eight days should be plenty of time to fill and ship an order so it is received by Christmas.

Incredible selection of coffees and teas- hundreds of varieties of every grade, type or geographic origin, and possibly more importantly, the staff can expound knowingly and authoritatively on each one and make cogent suggestions based on your preferences or past experience to suggest wonderful and sublime teas and coffees .Rarely have I seen such a marvelous purveyor of coffee and tea. There is one place in Amsterdam that has been in business since the 1600’s that is their only real competition in these categories.Wish I lived closer !

A very good selection of tea at amazing prices. We have made several purchases online and the shipments were always very quick. The staff on the phone has always been very helpful when something we want was out of stock. So when we were visiting Pittsburgh, the natural instinct was we have to stop by! Right?Well, the in-person experience was less than impressive. The system made sense, take the jars of tea you want and bring them to the staff to weigh and package. Thats where the problem came in. The weighing countered were packed with jars of tea. Some jars were stashed so high up that we thought it would be wise to ask for assistance, but the man seemed annoyed that we had to ask him to get a glass jar that we couldnt reach. When he asked how much tea I wanted, I had to repeat myself 4 times. I understand that the music might have been loud or masks make understanding each other a little difficult, but the whole interaction was very uncomfortable. Another lady doing the weighing was also impatient. We asked for 4oz of tea, and as she was weighing, she stopped at 3oz. and asked are you sure? This is a lot of tea yes maam it is a lot of tea because we dont normally get to visit, and we have tea-loving family. Also, 4oz is the standard size you sell on your online shop I dont know why you are making such a big deal of it being too much.The cashier did brighten up our visit at the end. She was very friendly and efficient, also patient when my credit card tap wasnt working.Overall, good products, subpar service with the exception of a few. Just use their website, it would probably save you some gas and parking and headache.

I have been in there for the 3d time as of this morning. Each time I go in, the staff is very polite and helpful. The coffee options are almost endless it seems. The employee Dre, is extremely helpful, and is an excellent employee in the application of customer service! This is my new go to spot for AM coffee.

This place is one of our favorite spots on the strip. Their selection of teas and coffees is vast. We recently started getting into espresso and ordering their espresso roast was our first stop. They are also handling the distancing requirements well.

Best coffee in Pittsburgh. Freshly roasted whole beans and probably over 100 different kinds of flavors and locations. They often stock beans straight from small farms in Guatemala, Rwanda, Haiti, and many other locations. The Haitian blue coffee and blueberry cobbler are particularly amazing. The staff is very knowledgeable and makes great suggestions. I cant attest to the tea, but if its anything like the coffee, Im sure its fantastic.

Always a pleasure to go to Prestogeorge. They have great coffee (freshly ground) as well as loose leaf tea. PLENTY of options. They also have great cups coffee you can get there. I always buy my coffee from Prestogeorge, no other store bought coffee can compare.

This is my new favorite coffee shop, and I hate that I dont live in Pittsburgh to enjoy it daily. All of the employees are so incredibly friendly and the coffee was delicious. The gentleman that helped us was very knowledgeable and gave us suggestions based on what we said we liked. One of the employees even gave lollipops to our toddler! It was a very welcoming environment.

Intoxicating aromas greet you as you enter this coffee and tea shop. A myriad of teas and coffees to choose from with brewing accessories to purchase as well. I walked toward the back and watched the over 100 year old Roaster machines still turning out perfectly roasted beans. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly quick to assist you in sorting out all the choices. They had more oolong teas than I had seen in a while so bought some to take back to DC with us. If you are on the strip, do yourself a favor and stop by.

Always an excellent experience. Coffees are traditionally excellent, both in taste and aroma. Loose leaf tea also very good. One of my favorite things about the store is that they also sell meats, cheeses, and other unrelated (but delicious!) items - and especially the kielbasa/sausage for Easter - I ALWAYS make a trip down to get a couple pounds. Simply the best in the city.

This place smells amazing. The options will overwhelm you. I bought a half pound each of Leahs Chocolate Ginger Spice and Toasted Almond coffee, which are both really good. I look forward to trying more of their blends and flavors the next time Im in Pittsburgh.

The choice is like no other place Ive seen. The prices for coffee beans seemed more than fair compared to other coffee roasters, but then again they are doing good volume. Have two roasters on site. Forgot to mention the tea selection is also wide and they even had some genuine matcha tea.

Product selection is awesome as is the service. Anytime we head to The Strip we always stop to get our supply of coffee and tea. Only place I have found chocolate chip tea, yes I said chocolate chip tea, and it is really good. We also get items ordered online and delivered right to the house. Presto George is an iconic Pittsburgh coffee roaster. They roast their own blends and make a staggering variety of flavors and roasts. You can get whole bean or ground coffees, teas, brewing devices, made to order coffee and specially coffee treats, and fresh deli sandwiches as well.

First time at this coffee shop and I am highly unimpressed with the service. I placed my order and the two baristas proceeded to make the beverages for all four people who ordered after me before mine. The espresso in my latte also tastes burnt. I highly recommend La Prima or Espresso A Mano if you’re looking for excellent service and quality drinks.

This is a great place to pick from a large variety of coffee and tea and buy in bulk. The brick and mortar experience was better than buying it online since you can sample some of the offerings before buying a whole pound. You have to pay to park, so it might not be worth a trip just to come here unless you really like coffee.The signage was not easily visible and we nearly walked past it on our way to the shop.The interior is pretty tight quarters and was a little tough to navigate with two small children.
