I saw Weisshouse listed in an article I read in Architectural Digest. I looked them up online and found 2 items I was interested in. I wrote an online inquiry regarding these 2 items and was responded to almost immediately. I began working with Cyd and am thrilled with the items I ordered as well as the service I received. I cannot say enough good things about my Weisshouse experiences! I originally bought a beautiful sofa from Weisshouse 20+ years ago. The cover finally wore out - the sofa had not. When I contacted them, they not only had my order history available, but worked with me to find just the right replacement cover. I now have a new sofa at a fraction of the cost! So excited. Quality furniture that really lasts with fabulous service. Im so grateful.

We moved to Pittsburgh in 1992, up the street from Weisshouse. It is hard to walk by and not stop by and it is hard to stop by and not find something interesting to buy. Most of the furniture in our apartment was bought there and we have enjoyed every piece. We were happy when we bought a house in Florida five years ago. It gave us more room to fill with furniture carefully selected by the Weisshouse designers. The last time I walked by, a month ago, there was a beautiful Karabagh rug in the window. It is in our apartment now. It is also fun to just stop by, feast your eyes on the beautiful furniture, say hi to everyone and leave with a few famous Weisshouse rice crispy chocolate bars to munch on on your way home.

They know what they are doing.This is the kind of place you wish that other business’s were regarding service and selection.It is customer centered and backed up by designers who have an eye and a passion for design.Betsy has worked with us most consistently over the years and has been terrific, I have also had great experiences with all of the designers when I have dropped in to look around or ask questions.The selections on the floor are unique and eclectic with an uncompromising eye towards quality. You will find some standards and also a variety of pieces to make a space sing. I appreciate the use of sculpture and art peppered throughout the showroom. Their selection of floor coverings are in plenty and varied, we purchased all of our wool carpets over 20 years ago and they are still like new.Most importantly, they will work with you to find what fits into your aesthetic and comfort level.Highly recommend !

We styled and furnished 2 rooms of our home with Weisshouse and have been very pleased with the results. They were very patient with us, providing us with many samples to take home to evaluate. We never felt pushed into a particular direction or towards a specific item - selections we were presented with always moved us in the direction we wanted. We felt listened to and valued, and will return for our next project.

They have an eclectic selection of interesting furniture and rugs and outstanding customer service. I was unsure if an 8x10 rug would compliment my space, and Todd brought it, along with a few other samples, to my house to try it out. It made choosing the correct rug SO much easier!Betsy specifically has such a great eye and a wonderful, down to earth manner. Im not sure what my house would look like without her help.

I absolutely LOVE Weiss House. Betsy and Staci have helped us so much. We had a very large house to furnish, rugs, light fixtures, blinds etc and they were wonderful to work with! They also provide the most amazing kitchen cabinets from Italy. They take the time to get to know who you are and how you want to live. I highly recommend them.

I can’t recommend Weisshouse strongly enough. When you walk through the door you know you are in for a high quality experience. Their furniture is modern and eclectic. Though I haven’t had a need to purchase furniture there, I have purchased carpeting for our own home and for our rental properties. I knew I would find beautiful carpeting for my own home - my home is Victorian with wood floors. I needed a runner for the stairs that led to a landing with a very large stained glass window. Though the architecture is Victorian, I wanted something more modern that would also go with the stained glass window. Betsy Daly, the amazing interior designer at Weisshouse, instantly picked out the perfect pattern - durable for the stairs, beautiful and just the look I wanted to achieve. I also purchased elegant, but durable carpeting for a rental property that had an interesting look, but was much less expensive than other ordinary carpeting that traditional flooring stores showed me. The carpet transformed the apartment. Not only were both products impressive, but the installation was done very carefully and completed on time. I also purchased blinds for my breakfast room that has tall windows on all sides. I wanted to continue to let in light, but also maintain some privacy. Betsy Daley again came through with sheer, accordion style blinds that can be either raised or lowered depending on the need. Again, the installation was perfect. You can’t go wrong with Weisshouse. I hope that soon I will need furniture so that I can indulge myself in their beautiful products.

From sales (Steve) to installation (Mike) they were professional, competitively priced, accommodating and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Weisshouse.

Terrible experience, repeatedly at Weisshouse. On each occasion, I was completely ignored by any sales person and when I asked for some assistance, I was treated in an extremely rude and dismissive manner,. I cannot understand how this store caters to high end clientele, as the service is the worst I have ever experienced in Pittsburgh or in any other city. Although they may have nice products, I would not under any circumstance spend my money in this store based on the terrible customer service. Truly a terrible customer service experience. Buyer beware.
