Got my car in December 2020 was a easy process Kendra was great two weeks after i got It the transmission went they had it for about 3 weeks recently the steering rack went they replaced it in a day there’s some good and some bad but it happens with not so great credit

I want to say this was the most hassle free and easy going car purchase I have ever made. I delt with Mike who was nothing but honest, straight forward and to the point as he possibly could be. The process was simple. In and out with car in about two hours. If you need a car quick these guys will work with whatever you got. I haven’t drove the car much yet but the purchasing part was simple. If you need a car give these guys a chance to earn your business!

For those looking to finance a vehicle I highly recommend find another place besides by rider, this in my opinion is a total rip off for used cars not worth the price, your interest rate be way more than what you paying off, the sales representatives don’t not help you or fully explain the amount your truly paying, they pretty much force you to stay in they contract, or be sued if you stop paying or return the vehicle, your better saving your money and taking it elsewhere. So please don’t waste your hard earn money for a financial rip off like byrider.

They were on point and very patient. Watched my 2 year young son while I did test rides and made him comfortable. They saved me money on full coverage insurance and they did it in quality time.

Stopped in to see about getting a new car since my transmission went on mine. I thought for sure with my bad credit that I would get turned down. I was driving my new car home within hours. Thank you for everything. Everyone was so kind and helpful. I love my Jeep.

Sadly, we have had a horrible experience with this place. It is still ongoing. The management and service is unprofessional and unhelpful. We thought this was the place to go when you have bad credit and they have done nothing but took advantage and sold us a Jeep that has been nothing but a problem from the start . Now for a second time the transmission has blown and this is just one of the problems of many other problems. The Jeep has been in the shop over 5 times in a short period of time and never fixed to our satisfaction. As soon as we get home, something else is wrong. The Jeep leaks water, the trunk won’t open, ongoing brake problems, engine light on, two blown transmissions. This dealership is absolutely horrible. They are scammers and could care less. At this point are going to have to take actions because the management here and service workers do not care. Please stay far away from this place. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!

This is my second vehicle that Im buying from Byrider. The first was a Kia van, only problem I had with that was a timing chain issue. They were quick to correct it and I never had any problems after that. The car that I have now is a Ford Fusion. Somehow or another, I have managed to blow the motor up in it, not once, but twice. The first time, it took over a month to get it back. I asked for a rental car and long story short, they offered to reimburse me $60 of the total cost for a month long rental. The second time, I got my car back a mess! Grease all over my hood and header panel, the inside of the drivers door, and even on the upholstery. This will be the last vehicle that I buy from them. As soon as its paid off, Im going to a real dealership and trading it in.Also, I dont want your automated sorry, we take matters like this seriously, please reach out to us message either. I tried reaching out, and I just keep getting passed around the phone from sales person, to shop, to finance.

After spending almost a full day at the dealership under the understanding that my payments would be under $400, and after I already put insurance on the vehicle, they present me monthly payments of $472. I walked out. Thanks for nothing.UPDATE after their response: As soon as I left the dealership I was receiving texts from the salesperson and the manager telling me so sorry I couldnt afford the payment and that I was told the minute I walked in that the payment would be higher than I wanted to pay because of the type of vehicle I was looking at. That is a blatant lie because I was very firm from the start on what I would pay and the salesperson understood that. The managers tone in her texts were condescending, patronizing, and rude. Dont trust these liars.

They are jokes sold me a car said never wrecked and had some one go over it it the hole driver side was all after market turned them into lemon law and bbs they are a joke and a big one at it they sell you junk I know 6 people that have had nothing but issues they dont cover anything go some were eles be for them plz there are other companys out there that will do more for you and take care of you byrider os a joke and huge joke and just saying bout a car broke down 2 days later told them to keep it

Quick service at getting finance and professional

There were some unfortunate issues with my car but the service team was great and helped work thru things. It was a little rocky at 1st but Syd and Corrine worked thru everything with me to not only resolved the problem but really went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of and were very fair and reasonable!

I highly recommend this place to look for a vehicle. They truly help you with bad or no credit. I walked in with a down payment and walked out the same day. They even helped me get insurance. Very friendly and very nice inventory.

Do not go here. Go to DriveTime instead. JD gave me a load of malarkey saying that I could not buy and register a vehicle out of state which violates NO laws. I explicitly asked them over the phone if I could buy a vehicle with an out of state license, they called me back after talking with a manager, and said cmon down, no problem! Talked with finance who said I was in the above average bracket, and then they made me wait around to say that they are unwilling to give a car to someone who has an out of state license. Thank you, though, JD Scamrider, because I went down to DriveTime and got a car with ZERO PROBLEMS. Forget this place, youll save money(not to mention better car selection) with DriveTime anyways.

Kedra Tucker from the Liberty location went above and beyond to help us on July 1st. She is the definition of a dedicated sales manager. Kedra should be cloned 10x so you have more employees exactly like her. If anybody ever needs a car that I know, I will be sending them to Kedra at that location.

I should have listened to everyone when they said dont go there. I had it back there 6 days after getting it. One part was repaired and turns out 2 weeks getting it back 2 things out of 3 were not working again. I took it to another place to be looked at and the sensor they claimed they changed was never changed it was reset and ac was not repaired with the items they said were. I dropped it back off a THIRD time now only having my car 3 months dropped it off june 31st and went to get it last night july 12th a hour away from them and they forgot to put my keys in the car so I couldnt bring it home. Ive wasted more time and money than whats its worth. I would advise anyone to keep driving by its not worth it. Im looking for another car as of right now.

Some of these cars are garbage. I bought mine in October 2020 and it is may 2021 and transmission is already giving up. Stay away from this place.I took my car in after I did an inspection on my own saying that the step motor was bad that it wasnt responding on high gear. The service guy at byrider took a look at the car and argued with me aboutit was a misfire code in the computer history that the transmission was good and recommended to change sparkplug and coils. Well to cut it short after spending $550 dollars I still have the same problem with the transmission. Thank you very much

I was skeptical to buy from Byrider because so many people told me not to. My credit was bad and didn’t have much cash to put down and they were willing to work with me so I took the chance. I got a 2013 Kia Soul with a lot of miles on it. I’ve had it 15 months and have not had one SINGLE problem with it, I love it so much. My credit went up over 100 points since I got the car and their finance company was so easy to deal with when I got a new job and had to be late one time.

Mike was amazing.... Twice!!!! I bought my first car at this location back in November of 2020 and owned it for just about two months when I was in an accident and it was declared a complete loss... I absolutely loved this car... I was completely devastated, mike answered all my questions told me about this really amazing program they have to help people in my situation and then had me back on the road in less than 10 days...in a new car I love just as muchI’m really really difficult I ask a LOT of questions and test drove every car I thought I wanted... mike never lost patience with me he answered every question... two maybe even 3 times as I repeat myself a lot...I highly highly highly recommend mike at Liberty st Byrider for anyone who wants to get into a car it was the best experience even in the worst of situations.

I just had an accident that totaled my car that I just got shortly over a month ago, a week after Byrider calls me and informs me they found a way to get me in something new AND forgive my previous loan! I’ve prayed for this, and I couldn’t be anymore thankful for Grace at Byrider!

If I could give no stars I definitely would. I purchased a vehicle from them last year and have been havong nothing but problems with the car. Have had the car into theor servoce department now 6 different occassions for the same problem and no positive results. The car still has the same issue itnwent in with. Have they put parts in it.... yes they have replaced parts however, they have not been successful at rectifying the problem. Its a shame that I have to pay for a car that I literally cannot drive more than 10 miles without fear of being stranded...

Had a 8 a.m. appointment on Mondayit needed spark plugs and coil,Wednesday, still not done got car on Friday should not take 4 days but is better, bought car in October took back 2 weeks later because of hesitation up hills sid said nothing wrong .. I think they waited until it got worse so then it would not be covered under warranty

Mark was an amazing sellsmen but my truck is the worse. First it needed rotors and brakes about a week after purchase then it needed an alternator & battery then it has a random oil light when u press the break & also the no skid light and wont shift out of park!! I pay almost 400 a month yeah its used but WOW.. And cant be seen no time soon so Im without a vehicle

I worked with Paul and Tammy and the experience was great! As soon as I got there I was greeted and helped right away! I love how they work with you no matter what situation you are in; for me I have no credit AT ALL because I am just starting out. J.D Byrider works with any type of credit because it’s based off of income and not credit. Their goal is to make sure you leave in a car that’s best affordable for you based on the income you bring in! The payments are not like your typical car payments but that’s so you don’t have to come back, you will have a credit score that would be most pleasable to any normal dealership. So if you have bad credit or no credit but a sustainable income, I’d recommend you go to J.D Byrider, where the make you feel welcomed and valued. Megan in your service department gives your company a bad name. She is extremely rude and when a customer has a issue she says it is not her problem what do you want her to do? I have never in my 15 years working in customer service worked for a company that allowed someone to speak to the customers that way. For how much you pay for a car there you would think that the customer service would be awesome!!!!

Never used them for a car, but when my phone was about dead, and I was lost two hours from home, they searched for a phone charger multiple times from every employee. In the meantime they printed me out paper directions just in case. They eventually found an equivalent charger. They took me back to the waiting area and said I could sit and watch TV while I wait.While I was waiting for my phone to charge, I was watching how they interacted with their customers. They were nice, personable, and polite to every single person they talked to. I was very impressed with how they assisted me as well at the other customers.Thank you all again for helping me get home safely.

First trip in I wasn’t fully impressed with the sales person. It seemed like she was trying to hard to connect by saying - ‘I got you’, ‘I get it, you’re normal’ (not sure what that even means) and ‘ I’m just like you’. Additionally when I would say something she would interrupt and. Speak with a defensive tone. I assumed that I would receive a follow up call (which I didn’t get.)I went back and got a different sales person. This time I was thoroughly impressed. He was easy going, friendly and filled me in with the process. I will definitely recommend him

Some of the nicest people around. I was able to trade in my old car that I got here for a newer one for no money down and no money owed. Price is good considering my credit score. I definitely recommend Ashley as she even stayed late to make sure I was able to drive home in my new car. Best delearship in the area.

I took my van in to be serviced before my warranty expired. Matt came in and told me what was wrong with it. He then informed me that I could have them fix it or trade it in. He was great! Very personable! Grace was my salesperson. She was also amazing! I bought my van from Corrine 3 years ago. She is now the general manager and she is still just as great as she was then. John and Tammy were the 2 underwriters that I closed with were so fun. Everyone that I dealt with today was great! Thank you!

Mark was very helpful in me getting my first car. I was very scared at first, being that I’ve been denied by so many places based off of my credit. I was also scared because I’m a young woman doing this all ALONE and didn’t want to get my head rocked. My interest is pretty high and so are my monthly payments but I had to settle or I’d still be on the bus. So far so good w/ J.D Byrider and I hope it stays that way! I’m still feeling iffy some days thinking I made the wrong decision but I love my car. I recommend this place and I recommend Mark, he’s a great guy. I will update my review in 6 months 😊

There are so many other uses lots out here that help people with bad credit I would advise you use one of those every time we have a problem with our car jdbyrider has a reason why its not covered they sat there and theyre nice to you when theyre selling you the car but once a car is sold and you need to get something done at the service department good luck they dont want to cover nothing under the warranty

I had my car towed down because I didn’t feel safe driving it all that way. They looked at it first thing in the morning and called me 3 hours later to let me know it was done. My warranty covered everything and was only charged $10 for my oil change. My total fees came to under $40 for taxes and oil change. We are very pleased with the quick serevice and pleasant mechanics. Thanks again guys! Awesome job, my car is running great!

Had a great experience. Everyone there makes you feel like family. Cal was extremely accommodating and knowledgeable. As a single mother I have to take my daughter with me many places that just arent fun for a young child. They set up coloring pages and even switched from the Steelers game to some Nickelodeon! Despite the late hour everything was smooth and fast!

They were able to get me approved for a vehicle at an affordable rate, the car i wanted and affordable insurance all in one day!

John the salesman was wonderful!! However, my car is junk! I didnt even have it for a week and the engine needed replaced! When I went to pick it up, I looked under the hood and noticed (what looked to me as)something not plugged in, here the piece was actually broken!! They had to take it back into the garage to replace that part!! Now what if we didnt notice that before leaving?!?! The people that work in the service department are absolutely ignorant and cold!! Now about almost 2 months later, I just had to replace the serpentine belt and tensioner!!! I looked through my paperwork and of course it wasnt covered so I had to pay for that as well as 2 days of rental car! They talk about the referral program but i will never recommend anyone to go there!!! I cant wait to pay this off and get a better car and deal with people that actually want the business and care about their customers!!!

Always get good service. Under warranty or not. On my second vehicle with them now. Have no complaints thus far to be honest. I mean it is what it is, getting people with less than stellar credit, like me, into a vehicle. A used vehicle. They stand behind their warranty. That is the plus.

1 star cause there is no option for 0. Went in and was looking at cars for like 5 minutes inside the building. Finally a small woman came up and asked if we needed something. After letting her know we were looking for a vehicle that was under 60,000 miles she told us they didnt have any like that. So we then said how about under 100,000. She then said you can ask me the same question 50 different ways, the answer is still no How rude! It was obviously a different question and it was clear she wanted us to leave. She said look Im 54 years old and Ive been doing this job for 6 years now, I have a son and I know that the only place you can find a car like that is at a regular car dealer Firstly, I dont think she has been doing her job for 6 years. Maybe she has worked there for 6 years. But I highly doubt she was doing her job. Because she wasnt doing it tonight. Unless her job is to tell customers to go to the car dealer up the street. Because we cant help you here Actually was the most rude salesperson I have ever met in my life. And I sell stuff for a living, I know how you are supposed to act and she was not professional in any manor. Save your time, and just skip this place, because they cant help you here.

Sydney and Andre where very helpful and unfortunately funny. They made sure all my issues prior and present were taken care of and I was extremely satisfied before leaving. Sydney even offered to walk to make sure everything was to my satisfaction.

Buying a car is always stressful but this time wasnt too bad. Grace helped us get into what we wanted. They were all great to work with. This is our 3rd car through them.

Best service I have ever received. Everyone was very nice and respectful. Very informative on how everything works and most importantly kept me up to date on what was going on through the whole process.

I got my car in December and not even a year in and I had to get a new engine,balljoint, and an air replacement. I understand that these are used cars but I was sold something that would only run for maybe a year. I am not satisfied at all. Not to mention that day I got my car back from getting a new engine, the engine light comes on. Things that weren’t happening before I needed a new started to mess up! I will never recommend anyone to them EVER!

So I bought my first car today from JD Byrider 2005 Hyundai Elantra before I even got to the store I talked to rep on the phone and a rep on the online chat, everyone was so polite and helped answer my questions so when I got to the store I was greeted by sales rep ( Grace ) her and the whole team went above and beyond to help me get financed and help me leave that same day with a car. After having met with many dealerships JD Byrider got me in and out and they helped me out a ton, Im very happy with everything. I now can get to and from work and can actually start working late after buses stop running.

The guys in the service department are great. The are always very nice and friendly. Matt will explain any questions that i have, and if he isnt sure, he isnt afraid to say so. Then he finds out the answer. Any time I need to go in, they always ask after my family - you dont get that at many garages!

Had great service while buying my car a few months ago. Just had a little issue with the vehicle. Called the service center they were very professional and quick. I had an appointment in 2 days. What I needed done wasnt covered under warranty but it was still very cost efficient. Definitely would recommend them!

There were a few issues with the car, but Andre and Sydney, and Matt have been on the case. I am extremely happy with my vehicle and the service I receive. Best dealership of the three local is W. Liberty. I would recommend them to anyone.

They take advantage of customers who have poor credit by enticing them with a low downpayment but sky high interest and sales prices. Awful business model, do your homework. There are other companies that can help rebuild your credit.
