I went to Clarissa Boutique to have my dress altered. I came in with a dress that I got on consignment, that needed A LOT of work. I had a number of fittings to get things just right, and Gretchen was so kind and patient with me. She understood exactly what I wanted, and didnt seem phased when I nit-picked, or obsessed over every little detail. Their prices are also incredibly reasonable, compared to some other shops nearby. I also decided I wanted a tulle cape/wings to accompany my dress (WHICH EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE), which was challenging because we needed a way to attach them to very thin spaghetti straps. But they nailed it, and they looked AMAZING. I felt incredible on the day of my wedding. To go into the day feeling so sure that the dress was perfect is really such a wonderful feeling, and Im so grateful. When I decided to use my mother’s halo headpiece I started looking for someone who could bring it back to life. Clarissa’s boutique was exactly what I was looking for and they have been so helpful with all of my bridal accessories. First of all, the restoration they did on my headpiece was amazing, it looked exactly like the day my mom wore it for my parents’ wedding. I also purchased my veil from Clarissa’s. They found a veil that matched my dress perfectly and had every detail that I wanted. I received so many compliments on it during my wedding! Finally, they helped me and my mother pick out our earrings which were also absolutely stunning. I cannot recommend them enough for all of your wedding accessory and restoration needs!

Every Pittsburgh bride should check this store out! The sisters that were working that day were so helpful and guided me through what I needed. When I walked into the store I wasn’t completely sure what I wanted, but when I showed pictures of my dress Penny was able to guide me through the different accessories and what not. I made an appointment and took my new wedding gown into Clarissa Boutique to accessorize. Penny greeted and assisted me. She is such a darling and delightful lady! She was able to hone in on my needs and show me exactly what I needed to complete my look. She and all the staff are professional and very easy to work with. Everything a bride NEEDS! I had such an amazing experience at Clarissa’s boutique. Penny was wonderful and patient as I tried on a million accessories. She helped me decide and consider all details of accessories so they fit cohesively with my dress. I purchased a cathedral veil, which Penny recommended adding custom sequins to match my dress, a vine headpiece, earrings, garter and lastly a custom face mask that included lace from my wedding dress. No detail was spared and the customer service was impeccable. I also got some history to Clarissa’s boutique, which was originally a fashion school run by Penny’s mother, now Penny and her sisters run the boutique together. I highly recommend this business and thoroughly enjoyed my bridal experience there. Thank you for your help!

Update! Here are some photos of tiara & veil from Clarissa’s boutique at my wedding!I purchased my veil and most of my bridal accessories here. Not only do they have high quality items, but everything is extremely reasonably priced!! They made a custom veil for me that was even more beautiful then what I had imagined. My grandma purchased it as a gift and they have been SO KIND to her. Anyone that treats my grandma like a queen gets an A plus in my book. If you’re getting married, go to Clarissa’s Boutique.

For bridal accessories, I would recommend this place to anyone. I was helped by Penny and she was amazing. She was able to offer me a custom veil which would nicely complement my dress and was well within my budget. She was very helpful in picking out and designing a custom hairpiece for me. The delivery was quicker than the time I wanted it to be, which is a plus. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place to any bride!!!

Found a unique pair of earrings for my wedding here and the staff is so friendly; they were incredibly responsive to my request to have the earrings be ready on short notice. So many unique pieces you wont find other places and quality customer service sets them apart.

I would recommend Clarissa Boutique to any bride-to-be. I was searching everywhere for my dream veil and headpiece and no boutique that I went to had what I was looking for. I saw a recommendation for Clarissas on Facebook and decided to go check it out. I made an appointment for a stylist consultation because I wanted some help finding my dream accessories. I had Penny for my consultation and she helped me create my dream look for my wedding day. She was able to find me the perfect headpiece and some jewelry that matched it perfectly! I was having a hard time finding a veil that I loved, so she asked if I wanted to design my own. I was skeptical at first because I thought that it would be outrageously expensive, but Penny reassured me that we could make something within my budget. I explained and drew out what my dream veil would like and then I got to pick out the crystals and the exact shade of tulle that I wanted. After a couple of weeks, I got a call that my items were ready to pick up. When I arrived, I got to try everything on and finally see my custom veil in real life. To say that my expectations were surpassed would be an understatement. I was honestly blown away. My veil was made exactly the way that I had been picturing it in my mind since I was a little girl. I couldnt believe that my vision came to life! I could not be happier with my accessories from Clarissa Boutique and I am SO glad that I went there. Clarissas boutique was nice to work with. The women seem to have a lot of experience and know what they are doing. Unfortunately, a year after my wedding, I still have a hard time looking at photos because my dress did not end up looking nice. The cap sleeves were awkward and saggy. Trying to find pictures where my sleeves were even is hard. My slip was too long and too big in the waist. My advice to anyone reading this is to try on their dress several times, move around in it a lot and keep it on for a long time. I do blame myself for the disappointment.

I highly recommend Clarrisa Boutique. I made an appointment with the boutique and the staff spent several hours assisting me with choosing and trying on the perfect accessory combination for my bridal look and helping me to make decisions with my veil. In the end, I purchased several accessories for my wedding day including earrings, a hair comb, and a custom belt. All accessories that I purchased were already in the store; however, the boutique was also willing and able to search for and order other items that I inquired about. The cost of the accessories were more than I wanted to pay, but the service was worth the cost. Moreover, I had a custom veil made in which the lace from an heirloom veil was removed, cleaned, and attached to a new veil that I purchased from the Boutique. The veil was done impeccably; the lace was like new again and the details were just as we planned. Overall, I experienced quality service and was pleased with my purchases.

MUST VISIT!I almost got my wedding dress here because of the great service...and a very nice off the rack dress. The prices here are amazing. I definitely would recommend this to a bride on a budget. I found a beautiful lace dress here for $800, originally $1500. This place had many other bridal accessories, like veils, garters, and beautiful sparkly belts all at reasonable prices, without skimping on quality.

After searching for my perfect veil all over the internet and visiting boutiques from Virginia to North Carolina, I finally found Clarissas Boutique in Pittsburgh while visiting family. Jeannie was so patient and helpful. She took the time to view pictures of my dress, show me all different veil styles, and walk me through an array of swatches. Once I had the length, color, and trim down, Jeannie was able to find a designer that could custom make my veil. The price was affordable and the veil was shipped right to my doorstep. I tried the veil on with my dress and I really couldnt be happier!

I have so many good things to say about my experience with the staff at Clarissa Boutique! Through all aspects of wedding accessories (belts, jewelry, and alterations), the ladies at Clarissas exceeded all of my expectations. My first purchase at the store was a custom belt for my MOH, who wore a black of the rack dress. They worked with me (and the dress) to figure out what would match my bridal gown, as well as the correct placement since my MOH lived out of town. Needless to say she looked extraordinary! The team sewed the belt into place, added custom beading, and even steamed the dress so that when I picked it up everything was ready to go. They truly go the extra mile for every bride! After this experience I knew that I needed to go back to Clarissas for my bridal jewelry. I found the most beautiful headpiece for a high bun, as well as earrings for myself and the mother of the bride. With a 15% off coupon, everything was more than reasonably priced, matched my dress and style perfectly, and came in ahead of schedule. The final interaction that I had with Clarissa was for my rehearsal dinner. I purchased a hi-lo hem gown online that was significantly marked down. When it arrived, the fit was okay but a bit snug (bridal sizes are difficult). The ladies at Clarissa worked their magic and were able to transform my dress into something worthy of a wedding day, not just a rehearsal dinner! This was when I was introduced to Fascinators; the owner herself made it to match the dress I was wearing. I couldnt have chosen a better selection for myself! She even shipped it to my home!
