Great selection of shoes. We came in looking for some shoes with high ankle, arch support, that werent too flexible for our kiddo who is dealing with inverted ankles. I was pleasantly surprised with how many different styles we were able to choose from. The owner was super knowledgeable and was able to pick the right size for my son without even measuring him. He offered some great suggestions and we were even able to get some house shoes for him as well. Will definitely come back. Yes prices are higher than what you find at other stores, but most of these shoes are imported, made with real leather, and offer a lot of support for developing feet. To me that is worth any price. My son took his first two steps with a walker today because his ankles finally had the support that they needed.

I work 12 to 14 hours a day. I have plantar fascitis and have always worn clogs. I went to Wagner Shoes to help find walking shoes. I was in awe of how knowledgeable and friendly they are. The service is amazing. They actually measure and size your feet. The inserts to alleviate the pressure points on my feet have completely alleviated my pain. Thank you! I will definitely be back.

I have always had Adidas for running and never had problems with either the feet or the muscles except for some pain in the toe during long runs due to inadequate space between the toe and the front wall. So, this time seeking an expert help, went in for sizing and measurements to buy a pair for long runs specifically. I run adult size 9.0. The lady at the store was immensely helpful, patient, and kind to measure my feet, arch, width and suggested I go with either 9.5 or even 10 depending on the brand. She brought me few to try on - Brooks, NB & Hoka. Although went in with an appetite for Saucony, I settled in for NB M880T11. I cant be more happier about the whole experience. One more reason I went to this store over other big box ones is that this is the oldest family run in Pittsburgh. I was very happy to support a family owned business thats been around for centuries... Choose this.. you wont be disappointed..

I called before I made the trip. I explained my problem (size 15, flat feet, very sore feet due to walking on concrete all day) she told me to come in, that they could help me. (I am sorry, I cant remember her name.) When I got there the next day she already had shoes ready for me to try on after I stood on the machine that reads your feet. She was SO helpful and so knowledgeable about everything, and she was so nice. Service was first rate.This is how shoe stores used to be. You go in, you sit down and get your feet measured and then you pick out what you like, they bring them out and put them on you. Definitely will be back. Ive already told all my friends about this place.A positive experience from the moment I walked in until the moment I left.Also consider this. After starting a new job and being on my feet for hours my feet have been in pain daily, I even bought a massage gun and heating pad just to cope and relive the pain the next day. After Jims help (the GM of Wagner’s) we found a shoe that not only fit my foot and my job specifications, but also alieviated my pain and I had my first good nights sleep after work in weeks. I walk by this place all the time, often ogling at the shoes they have on display in the window. Im a tall girl with big feet. I also like being able to wander around by myself, not being harassed. That is why Ive just been buying shoes online. And guess what? I HATE THEM ALL!!! The pain and blisters are terrible! My boyfriend suggested that I actually go try on some shoes before I buy them. What a concept! LOLFinally went into Wagners after my feet got cold, wet and muddy for the last time! Was immediately greeted and asked if I needed any help. No thank you, just looking around. Cool. Took my time and found a pair of boots I liked. Asked for them in black size 10, she didnt have that color in stock, but let me try on another color in that size, said she could arrange to get the ones I need. And guess what? TOO SMALL!Ended up trying on an 11 and fit perfect! Even had my color in stock. Was perfect!I got home and looked up my boots online, just checking if I got a good deal. And guess what? Same price as that big online seller!Plus I saw some great deals on the sale rack at Wagners. Absolutly the best shopping experience i;ve ever had. Ive had problems with my feet for years. a knowledgeable staff member measured every dimension of my feet and discovered that my feet are qarter size different and the one arch is higer than the other. They recomended a pair of shoes and insoles that have made it so i can walk without pain again.I live close to the store and the staff member saw me walking one day, remebered me and asked how my feet were. what i nice lady she is, she even recognized me a year later and remebered my issues when i cam back for a new pair of shoes.
