I purchased our new boat there about 10 years ago and had no concerns during the sale. However, their service is pretty poor. Winterization was expensive and although we paid for cleaning and detailing, the boat was never clean. Minor repair work took at least a month and we had trouble getting answers about repair costs and timeframe. In the end, the repairs continuously failed and we lived with the minor problems. In my experience, they do a poor job in communicating with customers (especially if you are a woman), and their service process is slow and not worth the prices charged. For fewer headaches, I recommend that you go somewhere else.
Went to this place today looking for points and a condenser, they didnt have the specific ones I needed . Monte looked it up for me, made one phone call & I can go to the parts store tomorrow and get the correct ones . Now thats service .
I recently purchased a boat off Craigslist. I new it needed a starter so I took it to Monte. Him and his team went above and beyond for me. The boat ended up being a nightmare and thanks to these guys saved me a ton of money. They were fast, truthful and extremely reasonable. He definitely got a customer for life.

Don and Monte are not only great guys, but they have made me a life long customer of Pittsburgh Boats. I met them originally because they were the only place within 200 miles that had a drive belt that I needed. If they dont have it in stock, they have it within 1-2 days for you to pick up. They are extremely knowledgeable and willing to help with advice. My boat took major damage from overheating due to seaweed and they fixed it in a fast time frame. They are also a great resource for questions. Just last night, they helped me in a major way as I launched my boat for the maiden voyage to put in my slip for the summer, and I had problems. Not only did they have the parts in stock, but they stayed late to fix my problem, of all times Memorial Day weekend. Because of these guys, now Im not stranded on land for the long holiday weekend, and Ill get to enjoy to water on my boat! They also explain how things go wrong, give advice on what not to do and what to do, and educate boaters on their vehicle. Thanks Don and Monte!
The best place in the BURG to get your boat serviced or parts.They will take their time to listen to your problems.They spent one hour explaining to me about a one dollar part. THANKS GUYS.
