I was recommended by a friend to Tevis when my last mechanic became unreliable in available hours and quality of work. Frank is AWESOME and walks me through issues that I dont fully understand. He really is fantastic. MIKE! He is great at fitting us in with emergencies and scheduling time for routine maintenance that fits in well with our crazy schedules. Bill is a really great mechanic and an all around really nice person. Bill has tremendous amounts of energy and personality that you cant help but have a better day just from talking to him. Ill use them for as long as I drive a car and theyre in business. I give them all of the ⭐s!

We have now taken out car for inspection and oil change at Tevis twice now. They have been polite and done the work as promised. Any additional repairs called for by the inspection have been reasonably priced and completed quickly. The location is very convenient to us and we plan to continue to use them going forward. Stand up work by a local shop. I find them to explain the situation and possible fixes with me when they are present or being upfront and honest when there isn’t another option.

Of all the shops still standing Post the great sickness; this shop-TEVIS AUTOMOTIVE is the only shop I’ve found that is still doing their best to hang onto their business integrity, character, and being known as a Honest Shop. I vouch for that personally. Like a child, After i took my car to them in April for inspection & emissions I embarrassingly left a ridiculous review. My car only passed the emissions part. It failed inspection. I was bummed out, but it wasn’t until I allowed others to influence my opinion and my personal convictions & beliefs. “My Code”. That I choose to live by. That code includes accountability for all my actions, both good and bad. Therefore, I openly apologize to Frank & Mike Tevo, and the Techs at Tevis auto for letting outside “smack talking”, and my emotions best me. Because my initial review was done in spite, and it was inappropriate, and it was not fair. I understand what they are trying to recover from, COVID closing us all down for a year is likely going to put almost all businesses that work for the public in jeopardy of becoming out of business. There’s a very difficult line to manage; your employees, benefits, taxes, overhead, etc… it’s not at all easy. And that’s precisely what I let myself forget when I hastily left my first review. To anyone who read it; hear me now please-I recommend Tevis above all others right now. That especially means dealerships. They are above their competitors when it comes to honesty, transparency, and being fair in price. You’re in good hands if you choose Tevis. I finally had the courage to call Frank & Mike and Talk to them about my behavior. I apologized and was honest. That right there, is when my gut confirmed they are of the same stock. Immediately he said thank you for owning that. Accountability - as a word, or way of life may be a foreign concept to some. But to those of us who live it; it becomes easy to spot others who live the same way. I saw it in Tevis Auto during said conversation. I will be returning to their shop Bc I trust that they are not crooks! I repeat; THEY ARE NOT CROOKS. They’re one of the few honest ones still out there. Believe me when I say I went to several other places following the initial falling out and these other shops and dealers, were so crooked…. I diverge.This review is being done on my own free will. I started going to Tevis several years ago when Lowries Run Auto closed their doors. LRA recommended Tevis and I have never been disappointed with any treatment or services. I would not consider going anywhere else. This visit was rear brakes and inspection.

Most important for me is how honest and trustworthy they are. I have known Frank Tevis for about 20 years. He is very honest and has never failed to fix my car. Reasonably priced, tells it like it is. If you take your car there regularly, will tell you what he sees happening so you can plan ahead. Hes a great guy to work with on keeping your car happy!

My battery died when I was in walking distance of this shop, so I walked over to see if they could help me out, rather than waiting an hour for AAA. The owner walked right back to my car with me, jumped it, then had me drive over and he replaced the battery. The entire process took 10 minutes. Unbelievably helpful, such great service! Will definitely try and use them again

I needed work done on my car in the form of new rotors and brake pads. I stopped at the shop and was greeted by the proprietor, Mr. Tevis. He set me up with an appointment in a matter of no time. I took the car in and after the work was completed, I could not be happier. First, and most importantly, the work done was perfect! The cars brakes and rotors perform wonderfully, just as when it was new! Furthermore, Mr. Tevis and his son were especially nice to me in the sense that I needed a lift home due to a recent health issue and they not only accommodated me in that regard, but delivered the car to me when the work was done. Now, thats what I call GREAT service! Take a guess where Ill be going for my next service visit!!!

Not only did they get my car into the shop within a week (during the holidays too), they got my car done quickly so I didnt even have to rearrange my schedule. Everyone was extremely nice on the phone and in person.

Recent Inspection on my Nissan RogueFrank has always been great about telling me what is wrong, what will be needed in the future, and not performing un-needed work.
