The vacuum brake booster from my 1971 Datsun 240z had failed. I discovered the part was no longer available. After much research I learned I could modify a new similar model and the cars firewall to fit... but that would not have been original to the car. I looked into re-builders and talked with many people. When I called Power Brake X-Change I spoke with Harold... and while he was careful not to make promises before seeing my unit, he assured me he had 45 years of experience and had repaired units like mine before. He was comfortable that they could repair my booster as long as nothing unusual was broken. He gave me explicit information as to how to package and protect the unit during shipping and quoted me a reasonable price for the repair. I received the repaired unit back in a week, carefully painted ensuring they masked the original manufacturers label from being painted over. I installed the unit back in the car and it works perfectly. Nice people to do business with.
Was quoted a set price for rebuild, when done called and was told much more then quoted, filed a complaint with advertiser was told they would remove new parts and give it back to me in pieces charging me $200 .beware, not a good business
