From start to finish, it was a great experience.Heidi showed me all the ranges that could be converted to propane as we live way out there.Clint and Caesar were wonderful installers in every way. I will buy all future appliances from Dormont Appliances.

My mothers gas drier died. I contacted Dormont Appliance and had to order one. After almost 3 months, no dryer. I was getting truly disgusted.THANK GOD for Heather Tague who became aware of the problem and worked it out so that my mother got a drier a week after contacting HER! SHE IS A TRUE GEM! The delivery guys were excellent as well. Thank you SO MUCH to Heather and your delivery people! We are so appreciative! Heather really got the job done!

First-time customer. My 26 year-old washer finally died and I purchased a new washing machine from Dormont Appliance over the phone. Heidi made the process super quick and easy. It was the same price as either big-box home improvement store and they had an earlier delivery date. It was delivered a full TEN days earlier than they promised. This was a huge relief for my wife and I, both nurses, as we were worried about washing our scrubs at a friend’s house or laundromat given the pandemic. Clint and Levi spent over an hour carefully maneuvering the machine down my long, narrow alley, down my crooked basement steps, and into place without so much as a scratch and installed everything. They happily helped me remove my basement door to make it fit through. Nothing about getting this machine into place was easy, but they were great from start to finish. Dormont Appliance will be my first stop from now on. Couldn’t be happier. Shop local!

I ordered a freezer from Dormont. From the expert handling of the sale by Heather Tague, to the virtually perfect deliver by the delivery associates, it has been a great experience so far. The delivery guys came on time and were completely professional and competent.I can only wish all appliance shops were this good!J

Having a really difficult time with the gentleman working the front desk. We had a refrigerator delivered Tuesday- 25Aug, 20 minutes after delivery it started making a horrible noise. Called the store and Heidi (our sales rep) scheduled a repair on Friday between 8-11am-which was a no show! Called them at 11:30am today (Friday) and the fellow at the front was no help, basically stating he has no record of my purchase or order (yeah after they have my 3K) and his hands were tied. I asked to speak with Heidi and after I was told she was off, he said there wasn’t anything he could do and literally hung up on me.The sales individual (Heidi) and installation team seems flawless, but this is now the 2nd time I’ve had to deal with the unhelpful fellow in the store who works the desk/phone lines (1st time he wouldn’t assist me when I was looking in-person on the showroom floor). I seriously will never buy from there again just to avoid him! I really wish no one ever has to deal with him, he’s mean and down right rude. I’ll take my business elsewhere from now on. Hope this helps just one person, as many other stores have the same appliances for exactly the same prices!

Customer service is poor. Ordered our appliance in December...still dont have it and cant get them to return our calls. I dont recommend.

After being told by 2 big box stores that a refrigerator we wanted wouldnt be delivered until April we called Dormont Appliance. Tom verified the fridge we wanted via email and I was able to complete the entire transaction over the phone. We could have had our fridge within a few days but needed a Saturday delivery and they were able to schedule us within 10 days.The day before the scheduled delivery they called to verify the address and gave us a 2 hour time window. They actually arrived in that time window and gave us a call when they were on their way!When we bought this fridge we knew we needed something under 33 inches to fit where the current fridge was. What we never took into account was the size of our doors and how they were going to get the fridge in the house. Our poor delivery drivers spent 30 minutes calculating how to get the fridge in our house and eventually had to carry it BY HAND up our basement steps. (Big box drivers would never do that, they wouldve told us to get a different fridge and left it in our driveway) These guys however were determined!Highly recommend, couldnt be any happier!

Ordered a stove and refrigerator for an out of state client selling their home. The level of personalized customer service was way beyond our expectations. They helped us pick models that fit our needs and budget, they set everything up from delivery, to installation, and they removed the old appliances. I will definitely use them and recommend them in the future.

First bought from here in 2005 when we moved to the area. Since then we have gotten EVERY major appliance from Dormont Appliance. We dont shop anywhere else!!

Have had nothing but a great experience with this business. Customer service has been excellent, very responsive. Working with Wayne. Adjusted delivery date with no problems. Prices beat out all others for the appliances we bought. Larger stores didnt carry the higher end products that we were after. Lack of parking was the only negative for me but that is Dormont for you.

Tom was very helpful. Will be going back.
