Sent my angle grinder in to fix the arbor lock. Couple of weeks went by and i picked it up. It broke immediately upon the first use, right where it was supposed to have been fixed. I bring it in again. I wait a couple of months, call and ask and they say something else on it was broken. They didnt mention it the first time, so either theyre trying to scam me or it was damaged when their first repair failed. Then they try to charge me for labor on the second repair. A repair that was brought about by their own incompetence. I explain this to the repair technician and she replies, Thats the manufacturers problem, not mine. Do yourself a favor and take your business somewhere else.

This place is a joke. I took a Makita ek7301 concrete cutter here, told them that I just needed a burnt wire replaced, thats it. They tell me its $105 deposit and it would be at least a week before their so called mechanic would look at it. When I was there, there were five employees, but no mechanic. I dont get why theres that many employees and none of them are mechanics at a repair shop. And to top it all off their mechanic can only fix something if they can find schematics for it online, WTF is that about? My dad was a small engine repair guy he didnt need to look online for schematics to fix stuff.

This place is a rip-off!!!!!!!!! I brought my saw in for repair, I told them what was needed to fix it. When I called after a week, they told me the parts were on order. When I called after 2 weeks, they told me the parts were not there yet. When I called after 4 weeks, they told me my Rigid saw that I bought at Home Depot was a knock-off because they could not find the model number. I was frustrated that after 4 weeks and no phone call my saw was not repaired, so I told them I would come to pick it up. I got there about 90 minutes later to pick up my saw and much to my dismay, it was dismantled!!!!! AND, they charged me $95.00 to dismantle it for a diagnoses, which I told them to waive when I dropped it off because I told them it needed brushes and a switch. What a bunch of crooks - STAY AWAY!!!!!!!! Maybe thats why the first to initials of their business are BS.

Horrible customer service. Phone communication was terrible, probably the only time I would have rather spoke to a robot, would have been more intelligent than speaking to the human. I cancelled repair my line trimmer and leaf blower, they proceeded to work on my line trimmer after being cancelled. Charged me the fee to disassemble, then when I picked it up was told there was a fee to reassemble. I left there with my line trimmer in a thousand pieces. I called and asked to speak to owner or manager and the reply I got was WHY, WHAT FOR? Overall very rude, horrible communication, terrible customer service! I will be contacting sears and recommending that they cancel their contract with Bay Saw and Tool! DO NOT USE BAY SAW AND TOOL!!!!!

Took my Moms Lawn Mower in for a non start, They called my mom and told her that this and that needed repaired, next we go and pick it up and they add $20 more dollars. So the total for a 5 year old lawn mower was a little more than $200. I then asked them for the old parts they took off they said they threw them away.I then took to a great repair shop, and asked them to look over every thing that they did. They say 3/4 of what they installed never needed to be done just needed a new carburetorSo this shop is as crooked as some of those used car dealerships.Go find some one else like Cutting Edge Lawn Mower, or Mellos Lawn Mower.

I had a broken rope on the pull start on my chain saw and in the process of fixing it the recoil spring came loose from its retainer. I was able to get in back where it should be and took care of the rope problem but had lost some of the tension on the spring for proper retraction of the rope. I got a little frustrated after several attempts at it and gave it up. I first went to Mellos lawn mower repair thinking there was no difference between a lawn mower and a chain saw pull start system but they told me they do not work on chain saws but gave me the name of Rickys Cutting edge repair shop on Buchanan Rd. They guy there acted like he didnt really want the job because it was very hard to rewind the spring (which I had not done at that point) but he would do it for $40. Like he was doing me some kind of favor. Well I rewound the spring in less that one minute. I called Bay Saw & Tool about the tension and he told me to bring it on in and he would take care of it. I took it on in handed it to him and 30 seconds later...problem solved. I felt like a fool for not being able to do it myself but I guess it is a case of live and learn. Point is he fixed in for me on the spot and would not even let me pay him for doing it. If I ever need repair work in the future on the saw or a lawn mower or other power equipment he will get my business.

Took in my lawn mower since they were an authorized B&D center. First, it took the lady about an hour to enter my information. Second, when I called two weeks later to find out about my mower, they said that actually nothing was wrong, it just started working. I asked them about my $40 deposit, and they said they would keep it!

I purchased a used electric mower from them. I was not to use a regular extension cord. I went to home Depot and asked what kind I needed and purchased it same day. Used the mower next day. Two weeks later mower would not start. Took it back to bay saw. Called every other day to see when I could pick it up. After two weeks the lady in front said she was told the motor was burned out, and for me to bring the cord I used. I took the cord in along with the receipt. The gentleman looked at the cord and read the writing on cord. Finally he said the reason it burnt out the motor cause the cord was too long, so there fore he was not responsible for giving me a refund or another mower. I am 75 years old l am out if $149. I went by home Depot and the guy there said he had never heard of such.

I took my less than 1 year old lawn mower in because it would not start. They told me that it was probably a fuel problem and it would be around $95 . I said o k and left. The next day I got a call saying that it was going to cost me $150 because they would have to replace the carburetor. Well this carburetor had less than 7 hours on it. I went and got my lawnmower and will never go back. The only reason that I even gave it one star is because it wont let me post this with no stars.

Went there for a warranty repair on a Ryobi generator. They have had it for 7 weeks and have not given it back to me. I called they said they have not gotten the warranty approval from Ryobi. I called Ryobi they called Bay Saw, then told me they did not follow the right procedure to get this done. I am now waiting for them to fix this problem internally. Really high lack of customer service with Bay Tool and Ryobi as I needed to explain to them how to solve this problem.
