The customer service at this store is exceptional. I hate that I didn’t catch the gentleman’s name who helped me but I came to this store after having a bad experience at a third party, cellular sales Verizon retailer. The employee at this store spent almost two hours with me working through my account and trying to figure out what the third party store had done. He exhausted all resources trying to get me the best deal possible. I appreciate his patience and all the time he spent trying to assist me. One of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had at a business

I spent almost two hours to set up a new business account. There were complications with my sign up. But even so, it Seemed a little unreasonable.However, I have to say the staff was great. Everybody was friendly and helpful, seemed like they were all chipping in and working together to help me as best as they could.

My Wife and I went in together for an insurance claim on our phones. Verizon doesnt handle that but we got ROYAL treatment and a customer service rep submitted my Wifes claim and started mine. Mines being considered.Patrick is The Best Person to ever Help Us! He was hilarious, personable friendly, and made the Entire Process not only bearable but EXTREMELY INFORMATIVE AND ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE!!!

I went to this store today to take care of some Verizon business that could only be done at a Corporate store. The hours online and on the front door but showed 11-5. When I arrived at 11:15 the store was locked w/ shades pulled and there was a line outside that had formed. Many frustrated customers in line ahead of me left as I waited. I finally gave up at 11:45 to go run an errand close by. When I drove by again after 12noon they still had not opened. Poor customer service and communication.

I would recommend this store to anyone looking for great service. I just lost 2 mothers a week prior and the entire team was so kind to me by listening and that made me purchase more than what i came for. I came in for an Apple Watch and walked out with a new iPad and accessories. The patience of the entire team was amazing and made such an amazing experience. Jasmine, Wesley T, Mark H and Louis T made my experience 100 stars. I would tell everyone to go to this store based off of my experience.

This is the first time I’ve ever experienced customer service this poor. I stopped in to pick up a new screen protector. I was told twice by the same person within two minutes that “someone would be right with me”. 15 minutes later a two other walk ins after me being served, I gave up and walked out. So sad, the staff at this store used to be on it. Back to online shopping!

I had a great experience here a few nights ago. I had just gotten back in town Thursday evening when I had to go into the store to try to fix an issue that I had been dealing with for about a week. I spent days going back and forth on the phone with Verizon trying to resolve my issue (no fault of their own, just a complicated situation). Well it all got resolved when I came into the store and Careca took care of me. He was very kind and knowledgeable and made me his number 1 priority and helped me get the problem handled in less than an hour. He was a genuinely great person and made my entire experience easy and fast. Would absolutely recommend anyone in the area that has Verizon to go into this store and see Careca.

Ill give them 2* because the staff was genuinely friendly, but thats about all they have going for them. Went in last weekend to buy a new phone. They told me the phone I wanted wasnt in stock, and they would do a web order and have it shipped to me, which was the preferred method at this time anyway due to Covid. I asked if it would be possible to ship to another location other than my home, like my work address, as Ive had issues with porch pirates and no one would be home on a weekday to receive the package which, according to the sales staff, needed to be signed for and thus negating the porch pirate issue. Despite having just told us about their Covid precautions, the sales associate then used my wifes phone to try and place the order, then couldnt determine how to change the shipping. It actually took 15-20 minutes and 3 employees to figure out if the order for the phone had even been placed. Meanwhile, as a manager tried to look up our order, our original sales associate went to the back and returned to the desk with the phone I was trying to purchase, which it turns out they did have in stock. However, it was explained to me that they couldnt sell me that phone because their inventory system wouldnt allow their stock to fall below a certain number, supposedly to account for online orders -- nevermind that I was basically at this point placing an online order because they originally told me the phone wasnt in stock. Not sure I understand an inventory system that doesnt allow you to sell an item to a customer standing in your store to make sure you have enough for purely theoretical online orders, but I digress. After way too long, the manager took the address I preferred to have the phone sent to and said shed change the shipping info on the back end of the order. As I knew would happen, after looking up the shipping info for the phone delivery, it was set to arrive at my house. Figuring Id just go pickup the phone from UPS when they were unable to obtain my signature for delivery, I was surprised to find the phone sitting on my front porch for anyone to take. Fortunately this had a happy ending, as I received my phone, but Im not convinced theres a single person at this store that is actually sure of what theyre doing.

Best Verizon store to go to if you need help. Theres a rep in there called Su and he is by FAR the best Verizon sales and customer support rep Ive ever experienced. He helped us get a new line, new phone, helped us save money on our bill, did a warranty exchange in seconds, cant express my gratitude for such a worker rendering such great service to the St. Pete community. 5 Stars and 2 Thumbs Up! This is the store to visit.

As a 20 year customer of verizon i went to this store to upgrade to an Iphone 12. I entered the store wearing my mask as mandated by the county and immediately got yelled at for having the audacity to enter their covid free sanctuary. The rude employee pointed to a sign I did not see explaining that they only allow one customer at a time inside and informed me it would be a twenty five minute wait. not satisfied with sitting on the ground like a dog I immediately went to Spectrum where I was welcomed with a smile. I bought a new phone and gladly switched service to that provider. One less customer you have to deal with while you cower in fear in your store.

Then was sudden urgency from the manager making it a huge deal that he would have to provide me with a mask On top of that trying to purchase something from my phone they do not accept cash then after dealing with that the machine was down in only one way to purchase anything in that store so I can even buy something with my card

I wanted to take a moment to say how incredibly pleased I was with the service today from Misho and Mark. I am a senior citizen, and these guys were so patient with me, and help me figure out how to reset emails etc. It meant so much to me that they were not Condescending, or Judge mental. I will come back here anytime I need service, I will be for my friends, and make all my new purchases with Verizon from the store. They both deserve a raise.

I inquired about the upcoming iPhone 9. “That’s not official and probably rumor” case closed. All went back to their non tasks and happily chatted each other up. I had a great experience at this location. We were in the area from out-of-state when my daughters phone started malfunctioning. Jorge provided excellent service. He helped my daughter understand the differences between phones, and made sure everything was backed up and transferred to her new phone before we left. He even assisted me with getting a replacement phone of my own through the extended warranty because I was having issues with the battery. After all that, he even provided a great restaurant recommendation. Excellent service all around.

What a wonderful experience at this store yesterday! We were greeted by a male, friendly associate when we entered, signed in right away, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We waited about 15 minutes and during that time we used the facilities and browsed phones and tablets. Everyone working (all 4 associates I came in contact with) were friendly. I was helped by Gabby who walked me through buying a new IPad for my mom and setting everything up for her. The other associate Kali, was also very helpful. Overall a 5 star rating for this Verizon store. I recently had a very bad experience with the St Petersburg store, I will never go there AGAIN! Horrible customer service. From now on it’s the Pinellas Park location for all my Verizon needs.Sincerely, a loyal Verizon customer since 1996.

Typical corporate store unwilling to help customers with legitimate issues that are easily manageable. Be careful if you ever need a replacement phone to get confirmation from Verizon staff that your non-removable accessories will be replaced. They will send you a $1000 phone like its nothing but refuse to replace a $50 screen protector. Unreal. A Verizon employee told me that the screen protectors are great and the company will replace them if you just lie to them about it not working, but when I came back to tell them I didnt feel comfortable doing this, they told me they didnt support that screen protector.

Called to get help on our phone stuck in safe mode and a nice man named Sheldon said he could help us but when we got there Sheldon was busy and the other 2 men would not help us or even try. They litterally said, we only sell the phones. We dont know anything about them!What?So, we needed to buy a new phone at that point and I had to do my own research on what phone might be good and ask the salesman if they had it in stock. Well, yes here it is he says and points to it.No additional comments as we glance at it and decide that this is what we need.Then comes a $40 charge up front to activate it even though we had had 5 phones with Verizon for over 12 years! Thank you for your loyalty.... not!I asked for a discount on accessories and the man laughed and scoffed and said no, they wont do that.They did for me at the Verizon in my home town.I would not recommend this Verizon store and its sales clerks to anyone. The 2 that I dealt with were arrogant and rude!

First, let me say m visit on 1/19 when Cory assisted me in upgrading to my iPhone X, I was very pleased with my service. He stated that, although I could get only 50% of the trade in value as my screen was cracked, that I could bring it back later to apply the trade in. I visited today, and another person negated as such. Perhaps a visit to their own Verizon website is needed instead instead of looking at the customer like Im an idiot. Ive attached a screen-shot of calculating the trade-in value for a damaged iPhone 6 Plus with cracked screen yields $72.50. I will return directly to Verizon for proper credit.

I came into this Verizon store from out of state, and in a dire situation regarding a death in the family. I needed a number port, a new phone, and a new unlimited plan asap. The service I received given the circumstances was stellar. One rep in particular named Careca understood the situation completely and did an excellent job getting me in and out of the store with everything I needed. The other staff members even threw on the football game for my friends who I had to drag along. 5 stars no question, If you live in St. Pete and have or want Verizon go see these fellas, they will take care of you. Great experience! I came in on a whim and I’m so glad I did. So back story, I called customer service because when I was trying to order the phone online it kept saying it was sold out. She told me she’d call the store for me and see if that was true or not (I hated that I couldn’t just talk to someone in the store so that alone had me on edge). When she got back on the phone, she told me “yeahhh, they’re sold out! But I can order and have it shipped to you in 2 days!” I appreciated her desire to help me, but I wanted to speak with someone myself. I didn’t want to have it shipped to me - it’s an expensive phone, last thing I want is it sitting on my porch and someone taking it! Any who, I came to the store and I was able to get the exact phone I wanted without any issues. I can’t remember the guys name, but he was nice and efficient! I came during my lunch break and I had no issues getting back to work on time.

Unless your phone is unusable, never opt for the Replacement Program. My device was having issues charging so I got a Factory Replacement which was even worse than my current phone that just took 10 hours to fully charge. The new phones headset speaker was broken. So after spending 2 hours transferring everything over to the new phone and putting on a new screen protector, all Verizon could tell me is better luck on the next replacement phone they would send you next day. Dont waste your time with insurance either, because it gets you the same worthless replacement, but you have to pay $150.

Amazing customer service! I’ve been a Verizon customer for years and love them. My husband and I recently went in to get on the same phone plan and Cory was super helpful the entire time. We unfortunately ended up there for 2.5 hours because my husbands phone (brought over from sprint) wouldn’t activate with LTE but he spent two hours trying to fix it. He then personally gave us a call two days later when he found a resolution. Overall great customer service in a not so great situation. Thank Cory!

Amir was so extremely helpful we cannot thank him enough! We called Verizon to add a line coming from Sprint and they replaced an existing phone number instead of adding a line. We tried to call support to get it fixed but we got transferred from department after department after being on hold and they were all unable to help.When we got to the store and explained our dire situation Amir was very understanding, and he figured out how to get a new line added and our phone number back. This is by far the best Verizon store I have visited in the Tampa Bay area. Rarely do you have to wait at all for service, and the employees know their products well. Heres what I thought of this Verizon location:We had great service here. We went in for a new phone activation on a BYOD (bring your own device) - they didnt give us trouble about getting a brand new phone instead, and let us sign up for a month-to-month commitment (essentially NO commitment), without the typical sales nagging.In the end, the person who helped us used needs analysis to find out that we could benefit from a waterproof speaker product they happened to have - and we were happy to walk out with it because it was based on us - not just buy buy buy. We also discussed potentially upgrading in a few months without immediate pressure. Overall a great experience that felt catered.I used to work in a wireless retail store - just not this one.

Worst customer service at a Verizon I have ever experienced. I told Eddie my camera was broken and he handed me a brochure and said call this number and file a claim. I questioned why he couldnt do it in the store. When I insisted again that it wasnt physical damage Eddie said it would be covered under warranty and that I should erase and reset my phone and that might fix it. He told me if I didnt know how to google it. When I said what if that doesnt work he replied youd be surprised. Pretty sure their job as employees is to help people not be rude to them. I wont be returning to this store.

I just bought the Google Pixel 3a, but wasn’t crazy about Google’s own phone cases. I called this store to check availability for an Otterbox. They had it in stock, so I was on my way! As soon as I arrived, Moshi was ready to help me. He brought out the case I called about and recommended a screen protector too. Not only did he help install both items for me, he was extremely diligent to make sure the screen protector was installed perfectly. With an added PopGrip, I was now at ease that my phone was fully protected! Thank you, Moshi! 🥇

Its Verizon. Pretty much get what you expect. The service is friendly and helpful up front, but they always find a way to stick unwanted fees on your bill even if youve asked them repeatedly and specifically how your bill will be affected by what youre buying. They also sell you a scam, overpriced screen protector that offers free lifetime replacements that you actuallt have to pay $10 for (which you dont find out until you try to order a replacement from Zagg).Other than their crappy sales tactics, theyre usually nice and will help you with your phone if you cant figure something out.

They do try to help people I think. Lately I have had an issue with my phone not keeping a charge. Its the connection port. Something they see daily thanks to our throwaway society we live in with electronics. So the phone (motorola droid turbo maxx I want to say) is not keeping a charge. I went in and asked for help. The guy sold me another cord for it that was just generic off their shelf. Like great it is showing a charge now from zero, but doesnt actually hold the charge when disconnected. Sure enough same issue. The thing is that once you are a customer they have you for the contract amount. Plus too many people walking in asking for too few employees for help Whatever the issue, we are often shoved to a corner to wait for some guy with a tablet to hopefully walk back over. If I was buying brand new, they would be all over me. Because I am current needing for the device to work, they have to handle me second. That is bad. But yeah they try. it is okay.
