The store was very clean and well stocked and the employees were friendly and helpful. Its a pleasure to shop there.

I had this amazing guy helped me with finding a charger.. I feel bad I didnt get his name but dark hair and it was 3-14-2021 at 6pm or 7pm.... He was awesome thank you!!!

They had some good stuff even I was looking for gold and silver paint,costom yourself wooden box...that you chose the color of it and so forward. Also and I think it call JL adhesive that bonds metal

This particular location is always clean and the workers are always nice and you can always tell theyre wearing a smile behind their masks.

The shelves were stocked, cashier was polite, bathroom was daily clean.

I like to shop here for cheap greeting cards. Currently, their selection is pretty limited, and I’d like to see it get stocked again. Also, the interior of the store is not the cleanest, but it’s not terrible. On the other hand, I have always had good experiences with the employees.

The managers all of them are very helpful they seem to always be in good spirits and they always treat us (customers)with respect i almost feel like theyre family cause Im there every day

Good for a dollar store always had great experience with friendly staff who always ask If you need help... they all know where everything is in the store... clean enough for me to shop doesnt smell Im not here to expect 5star dollar store... has lots of varieties of items..... typically run down exterior commercial building...probably outside not the greatest but I still shop there... who ever owns the entire building needs to do a makeover ... always lots of traffic here

What a surprise! I got a cute flower pot here for four bucks! The young man at the front was so so helpful bringing me right to the correct aisles on different sides of the store, for two different purchases. I was even more surprised when I found a nice grade of olive oil on sale for $2.75. My favorite Folgers coffee was also on sale for 3 something ... go figure...I did not expect all these Treasures at such a low price as I usually go to Dollar Tree, whichI have always considered the real dollar store.

Staff here are always amazing. They are probably the friendliest staff I have ever met. They constantly go out of their way to help a customer. I literally go there daily for my cigarettes and anything else I might need not just for the pricing ( which is great) but the friendly staff as well.

I love to shop in Dollar General, I think there always busy, it’s difficult to run the cashier and do your stock, merchandise rotate products no one realizes how much work really is involved, not to mention cleaning at night sweeping mopping wiping down, Then there’s putting the things back that were all over the store, then you’re Displays, not enough Indians too many chiefs. The stores are supposed to be moved around for cleaning and setting up displays. There’s a lot more to it than just that.t The only complaint I have is not enough employees to help do a great job, they can drop the quantity in all Sorts of ways that affects the whole which would be the company that runs Dollar General, the pay and the time you have to do this for even two people it doesn’t work !!! That is true and some people don’t take there work seriously !!

I had the worst experience with the cashier. I have never once been treated like that. She had me waiting while she continued to talk to the Pepsi delivery man instead Ill be with you I waited five minutes as they talked. I was picking up a Western Union. A friend of mine sends me Western Union once a month. So I am familiar with the procedure. Maybe its done differently at the Dollar general. But she said put your phone number in. And then told me no transaction exist. Again I put in my phone number one more time and she said no transaction exist. like I said thats never been the procedure picking up a Western Union but at Dollar general it was today and Im never picked up at Dollar general before or had this cashier before. So I say to the cashier should I put in my phone number or should I put in the phone number of the sender? She replied back with it should say! It should say!So I said you are so rude! And she said get out of my store get out of my store so unfortunately I did lose my temper with the cashier because she treated me rudely and then shoed it at me so embarrassingly enough I did shout back at her and told her about her behavior. I will never ever ever go back to that store Im just mind blown that I was ignored for so long and then treated rudely because of the procedure that needs to be done that is partf her job.

I have always liked the store good service and price

They have Everything and great pricing. Problem, incoming inventory is Always in the isles, blocking end caps, and needing to wait for associates to stop stocking +, to come cash customers out. Good staff though! Thats Why I shop here a lot. Possibly take 3-6 feet of the shelving down and create a sales block, or so, with selling Specialty items, and Sale items... youre sales increase would increase Significantly if you had 2 staff members to Work Over Night on the truck nights to check items accordingly, and stocking, to go for the Highest Sales at peak sales times. Id think youd probably turn the inventory over quicker, and having cleared isles, it could be an easy $50-$100 increase daily. Work it out on paper w your #s... I appreciate your business, but honestly Im not always able to get all of the items I need because the isles are blocked with a truck load of stock is blocking several areas in the store. Its like driving in downtown St Petersburg... a bunch of one-way isles, with blockages and other customers trying to get around.Please take note of this. Its not just about me... Its All of the Mes Im referring to.-Me and Me, with All the other Mes

This is the second dollar general I have been in that is not enforcing the county mask mandate so customers are walking around without them and one of the employees was walking around with his bandana under his chin too. I asked at the other dollar general what was up with this and they said the management has told them not to enforce it with customers. If you dont mind breathing other peoples possible covid breath then this is your store.

This is the McDonalds of the dollar stores! You pretty much get the same thing and every one you go to... The parking lot is the only reason I didnt give this 5 stars

As all dollar generals go, the price is right and the selection is surprisingly large, but they always seem to be missing something i think they should have, or i just cant find it in their odd organization plan. This one specifically is dark and old meaning its got dirt from a decade ago. Ok for a quick run.

Great prices cheap stuff friendly cashier

I did not even want to give one star but had to in order to share this story. We went to this location today to pick up a few things after going to breakfast for vetrans day. We were waiting in line with two older women in front of us and a few people behind us. The woman in front of us were taking their time. A man walked up by the name of BENJAMIN ( manager) looked at the young cashier wailing his hands telling him ( in a really mean tone of voice) you need to speed things up like now! I have to much to do! Your going way to slow . He was speaking to him like he was a piece of trash. The older woman in front of us said that is so rude I then agreed with her saying that should not be done in front of customers. The manager then started raising his voice at myself and the old lady. Ive got to much to do, and he needs to pick his pace up now! . Number 1. You do not treat employees like dogs. 2. You do not treat customers that way. 3 . If you can not handle your work load. Do not be a manager. We left the store and stood outside talking to old woman... We all agreed something had to be done. We were walking to our car as Benjamin exited the store, following us. He charged at us saying just let me explain my husband told him he needed to back up. Benjamin then told my husband you know where I work if you want some he was enticing my husband to fight him. We have now called corporate and we are waiting for a phone call back from district manager Jim. We will be taking this even further if something is not done. There are plenty of people who need a job that will not treat other humans this way.

Not a bad spot to run in and grab some stuff on the cheap. The parking is plenty. The store has quite a bit of items inside for a good price. But it could be cleaner and it attracks the homeless that hang outside and bother you when coming or going. One followed my wife to her truck and knocked on the door. Since this happen we have seen security and less homeless. So thats good to see. I have nothing against the homeless but always following or begging every time you go to a place can make you not want to shop or deal with that.

This place is what you would expect from a typical Dollar General. You walk in and its a clear indicator youre in Pinellas Park. I pull up and five feet from the door a homeless sat on the floor next to food wrappers slowly scratching his privates. I walked in and was immediately hit with the smell of old building and stale 305s. There was one employee who was very nice but looked trapped in the working world of Dollar General. Walking down the aisles I start to realize why I was the only customer. The floors look like no one had cleaned them since installation. The shelves looked neglected and maybe a safety hazard. All in all I did find a clearance pool item, bought it and left.

Seen some improvements in this store over the past few months, the staff is more friendly, the store has been cleaner and much more organized.

Place Id very disorganized, messy Abd not well put together. Its looks very dirty inside. I went there a couple times and now I go to one further away from my house because its better. Sad. I.worked for this company for almost 5 years and worked all over St. Pete and this is one of the messiest ones Ive seen. I used to go into stores that were messed up and my team and I would reorganize the store so Ive seen a bunch messed up dirty stores that Ive had to redo but this one is the worst one. Only good thing about it is the employees are nice.

We shop there all the time.there is no room to walk when the stock is in the walking area should be done at closing. The employee would be happier with more hours and room to work in a safer time and place. Two hours after closing.
