I just read a review from someone who experienced what Im experiencing right now. I stopped by and spoke to a gentleman that assured me someone would come out and measure. That was two weeks ago and I havent heard from anyone yet. I called them four times and they keep telling me the same thing(someone will call me to set up a time for a measure). I havent heard from anyone yet!

Dont bother with these guys. They cant read a tape measure. I asked 3 times over the phone to verify the size of a product. Drove 2hr round trip to return with nothing because they dont know the difference between 2 1/8 vs 1 7/8

In July I signed to have a flat roof and a super gutter. Marybeth promises a lot that they dont deliver. I was told no install date until permit approved, permit was 9/2 and I didnt get install date until I called end of October when they have had 50% of job. When you call, no one is ever available to answer questions and they takes messages & no one calls back. I have videos & pictures of Super gutter leaked day after installed. and how they left it and said it was done, It didnt pass inspection the first time the inspector came, I had to call them out 4 or 5 times to finish some stuff before I paid. Very unprofessional and sorry I used them, especially MaryBeth.

I’m sure J&M is very busy. That’s no excuse for their lack of customer service. Appears by reading the reviews that this is the norm for them. I signed contract for enclosure in September and it was finally installed about 4 months later. The side of my enclosure was damaged by roofers and am needing a replacement for it. Additionally, my enclosure is leaking BAD!! All along one of the seams, water pours out and along the wall, the water pours down. I’ve called. I’ve emailed. I emailed and called them 6/12 regarding the replacement trim and 6/18 regarding the leaks in my new enclosure. Today is 6/24 and I still haven’t heard from them. This is summertime in Florida - aka rainy season! So far, they get 2 stars. I will gladly update this review once resolution is accomplished. I’ve been in customer service my whole life and no follow up for 2 weeks nor communication is unacceptable.

Maryann came out to give us a quote for additionScreen patio. Never got back to us its been like 3 weeks.Looking at the reviews I wont use them plus her not giving us quote. Its says no.

Needed some work done after installation. Had an appointment with Mary Beth, she never showed or called. I called several times over the next few weeks with no return call. Terrible service after the sale. We will never use this company again!

J and m fastners is probally one of the best companies i have bought my material from james is on top of it just as much as jason tese people are great at there job they go out of there way to make it rite if u need anything this is the place to go to good job guys from dynamite rescreening

If I could give these guys 10 stars I would! Thats how happy I am with their service from start to finish. They gave me options and worked within my budget. Even the owner came out to do the final measurements. Another big benefit is they do not sub-contract. Their install crew was professional and neat. Strongly recommend you get an estimate from J&M Aluminum for your gutters, carport or screened-in room. You will not be disappointed! Next Im contacting them for storm protection panels.

Update 7/30/3020: 2 weeks after I posted this review I finally received a call back, they came out to my house and measured, and quoted a very fair price. I picked up the railings and just installed them the fit was perfect and they look great! Even though I am very happy with the railings I am deducting 1 Star for the delay in responding.I stopped by 10 days ago to inquire about railings for my outdoor steps, talked to Christoper and he said they could manufacture the railings that I could install, which sounded perfect. He promised to have someone call me that same day, here is it 10 days later and even though I have called back 4 times Christopher is always busy and I haven’t received a call back. Don’t waste your time with this company!

Previously I had J&M out to my home to repair an Awning. At that time, I felt it wasnt done correctly and informed Chris, Supervisor. He told me if it failed to call him. Well, yesterday prior to the Tropical Storm, I noticed the awning was still loose in one corner.I called today spoke to the owner, Gary.Gary, the owner wasted no time to come to my house himself same day 3 hours later to determine what was wrong.Gary, the owner identified the problem and fixed it himself.You cant get any better service with results then what the owner. Gary did.He cares about his customers and makes sure if there is a problem he will get it corrected even if doing it himself.If you want a company to stand behind their work and honor problems that arises and make it right, J&M is the right place to do your job.

Installed a porch for me and the roof leaked. After a year of trying to fix it they told me that their warranty was up and walked away. Not someone Id ever do business with again or refer anyone to.In response to J&Ms response, Yes, the date is about right. I keep posting here to warn others about your business practices. No, I was not offered alternatives by you after the warranty expired. You simply told me the warranty was up.

Was told I would get a 5 year warranty, which they refused to mail, or bring over in person. Then they said thet they never stated a 5 year warranty. Work was done poorly. When I canceled the second half of the payment for no warranty and shotty work, they threatened to call the cops, and put a lean on my property. Cant wait to see them in cort.Edited to respond.You still are avoiding the written promis of the 5 year warranty. Never stated that the awning could not be done as was contracted. If the job could not be done as contracted, why didnt you tell me? Because you didnt want to loose the job? One week after installed the awning leaked during the first rain. Why? Is it because you did not install the awning as indicated. You have not abided by the contract and are not getting paid until so. You filed a lean. In a year, if you want to extend the lean, we can discuss this issue further in court. There is only one thief in this situation and that is J &M Aluminum Inc.

J&M built and installed my patio cover and a small screen room. Mary Beth was outstanding as my sales person. I bugged her with lots of dumb questions and she was very patient with me until we were able to nail down exactly what I wanted. The installers were very professional and cleaned up after themselves. Highly recommended!

I picked up my custom storm panels from J&M last week and they fit great. Cris was great to work with. I am not familiar with the process and how to measure but he took the time to make sure we had the right measurements. I am confident my Florida home will be safe this year and many years to come. I am officially ready for hurricane season. Thanks for your help Cris!

Called for a quote on pool enclosure and patio cover. Mary Beth came out on Monday. Was told that company no longer do pool enclosures even though it is still on their site. All good, since she was there asked for quote on patio cover and was told I would have it in the next day.....today is Friday and nothing. Not sure what to think

I called on Thursday to get an estimate, was told Mary Beth would call me. I called on Friday and was told Mary Beth would call me. I called on Monday and was told Mary Beth would call me. I called on Wednesday and was told she did call me on Thursday and left a message. I never received the call or message. She insists. And, there doesnt seem to be anyone else to work with. I went to a different company. Terrible customer service, even though they put up my carport in the first place.

I love my new patio cover! Now I can enjoy the outdoors with a little shade and I am out of the rain. I hope to screen it in some day and will use your company when I do. Thanks for everything!

I recently had J&M do a few repairs and replace a carport at my home and I’m extremely pleased. My sales person was extremely helpful as I had no idea what I was looking for, and everybody at the shop was always so helpful and had my install done when promised. I would highly recommend J&M and will be using them for all my future projects.

I was ready to go purchase all the materials I needed for a roofing job. I called ahead to get a price on everything. After patiently waiting on hold for quite some time, the man returned to the phone (clearly upset over something). I explained that I would not need one of the items that he was listing off to me. He responded with impatience, “barking” at me with profanity. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing!! It’s a shame that this company permanently lost my business due to one employee. I can only assume this wasn’t the owner. I am a business owner myself and if I heard one of my employees speak to a customer in this manner, they would be immediately fired on the spot! I’ll take my business elsewhere.

The most unprofessional group of people Ive ever dealt with.I called them five times trying to get an estimate for handrails and downspouts at a commercial property.I left my phone number and address every time I called.Nobody EVER called me back.Finally I got a call back and after explaining for the fifth time over three weeks what I was looking for the woman tells me they dont do commercial work.It would have been nice to know that three weeks ago.Its really my fault for continuing to think these people might know what they are doing.I called them FIVE times.Never got a call.

I love my new carport! It took some time to get the engineering and permitting but it was definitely worth the wait. The installers were very polite and professional. Thanks J&M!

Awesome company train me very well

A few years ago I had J&M put gutters on my house. I had a few quotes from differant companies and this company was the best quote. I recently signed a new contract for them to re do my screen enclosure. From the moment i signed my contract to the day of installation everything went smoothly. They even asked if we wanted the covers to the gutter because my house has lots of live oak tress. Thank You to the J&M Team for all your hard work.

I’m so happy with my Railing. Workmanship was excellent. The installers were great. I has a all around great experience with this company and I will use them again. If you need anything aluminum call or go visit this company.

I just had my balcony screened by J&M and it looks really great! J&M Aluminum has a really great staff and, from the original quote to the installation, everything was handled professionally and efficiently to make sure I was pleased with their work!!

I worked with J & M in the past and had a good experience. Unfortunately this time was not the same. They do not feel it is their responsibility to keep in contact with their customer when a job is delayed for 10 weeks. No contact not once. When i called to question the owner he verified that this is how they do business. BEWARE!

They installed a carport for me after Hurricane Irma destroyed mine. They did a fantastic job! Very happy with their service. The workers were professional and cleaned up after. Mary Beth is a super sales lady. I will use them again when I can afford my screen room.

Mary Beth & Mike did the design work. Very nice & helpful in getting what I wanted done. The installers were polite and respectful, Raymond &Don. Later they called in Bob & Bill to do the outside scaffold work. Very nice guys. Love my porch and kudos to all who contributed to the job.

I purchased a Do-It-Yourself Screen Room Kit from here and the process was so smooth. Cris asked me if I would like to send his guys out there to make sure my measurments were correct. Which made me receive the screen room of my dreams.

J&M made several storm panels for hurricane protection for my home. They are very solid and well made. Chris was extremely helpful answering all my questions. I chose them because they have been in business for over 48 years. A strong company that I recommend.

J &M Alluminum does not stand by their word or work.I had vinyl windows put on my screen room ONE year ago.The windows will not stay up,when trying to open these windows,they continuously fall shut. I have bruised my hands several times.Many many calls have been made to J&M,concerning this situation,and I am continuously ignored.Their latest excuse being that this is not their problem,it’s the fault of the company they got the windows from.what can be done?I paid 2294.00 dollars for windows that I can’t open.

Extremely helpful and fairly priced. I needed a large order of aluminum channels and they had it ready for pick-up the next day (as promised)! I will definitely be using them again in the future.

I just had a screen room put in by J&M Aluminum. I must say they did a fantastic job. It turned out just beautiful! I cant wait for it to cool off so I can lounge outside. Everyone was very friendly and professional. Will do business with them again.

Great Service. I dropped off a few screens to be re screened and had to have them make a few I could not save. They said it would be a week. They called me sooner than expected and everything fit perfect. I will reccomened them anytime and will be back again.

Mike is an ass! Threatened to put a lien on my house because I refused to pay them until they got my screen room right. Had not even passed inspection at this point. Needless to say they got there money and the job is still not right. Just sick and tired of dealing with him. Would not recommend to anyone!!! Employees are great...Mike can learn from them. Once again Mike does not know what he is talking about! His response to this review is ABSOLUTELY FALSE. Please do not trust this man. Still waiting for them to come fix the problem.UPDATE Jerry was here today much different attitude than Mike. He is working on fixing the issue. Hes the man to deal with. Maybe a happy customer yet.

I was happy with my new screen patio. Then I tried to get someone to come out because my gutters were overflowing within the first two months, so I had to hire another company to come out to clean my gutters and put in leaf protectors. This is when I found out J & M had installed gutters that were half the size. The company advised me why my gutters were full. They lost a happy customer. I guess that is why they wouldnt call me back...so now I am having a pool enclosure installed by another company and they will be correcting the small gutters. Too bad J & M you lost a customer and another job.

Terrible service!! My husband set up an appointment with Mary Beth to get measurements and an estimate for a screen door. She came earlier than the arranged time, and since we were not expecting this, we were not home yet. Repeated messages left on her cell phone, as well as, a message left for her at the companys main number to arrange another appointment have never been returned over the course of 2 weeks. I do not recommend doing business with this company.

I have visited J & M on several occasions and have found all of the staff to be very helpful, they have explained how to do various things myself. In addition they are the only supplier that charges for the actual amount of super gutter that I required not like the outlet in Seminole who wanted to charge me for 20ft when I only required 10ft.

I added a screen room to my home. After completion I had Leaks in the ceiling.J & M sent workers out at least 5 times to seal leaks with No success. Finally, one of the owners Gary, came out to inspect & personally returned with a worker to properly seal the Leaks.After several Heavy rain storms, Ive had no leaks!I am now a Satisfied customer !Priscilla B.

I called and made appt for estimate on having window replaced with storm door and second door replaced. Marybeth came took picture and said she would get back to me. I called company and Marybeth a few days after with no call back. Very poor customer service.

The place is GARBAGE. I verified measurements with them over the phone. They cut my door too long & I had no idea until I got home. I had to pay double to have the door transported as they offered nothing to compensate for their mistake. All they said was I got nothing for ya, just for me to bring it back and it would only take 10 min to adjust the length. I get there and then all of a sudden its going to take 30 min or more. Im not sure if theyre just that incompetent, or if its because Im Hispanic and thats just how they treat peopp le that arent white. Either way, this a total catastrophe and I will never do business here ever again.I just wanted to add one more thing. After taking it back and having them cut it down, they still left it about 1/16th too long. I told them it still wasnt at 95. They said it wouldnt be a problem & if it was just to bring it back and they would cut it again. Well, I got home the 2nd time and it still doesnt fit. Im guessing 1/16 does make a difference. These people are BEYOND INCOMPETENT. NEVER AGAIN!
