Got a great deal on a used tenor here, very kind staff and pleasant to do business with.
Great selection of new and used mouthpieces. Great service. Fast shipping and prompt communication. Bought a nice, old Berg mouthpiece - return policy allows buyers to return pieces if they arent satisfied. This is key when buying mouthpieces. They stand by their products. Would buy from again. Thanks, JunkDude!
Decent but dont always follow through. Many years ago I tried to sell them my Jupiter tenor saxophone. Said yes first, then more time, more time, etc. then stopped responding to me so I finally gave up and sold it myself. Might have quoted me too much money by accident but he never communicated that with me.Recently I bought a mouthpiece and they were very helpful, let me try a few and I bought one. After playing it and another for awhile I decided to return/exchange. I didnt know their policy but he said they would work it out ... like trade or something and I was open to that but he said I would have to come in another week when his wife was back in the shop. Well thats pretty much the same as waiting on shipping on the internet so I just went to Buckeye Brass and Winds in Plain City Ohio. (Or Sam Ash in Columbus). Its a shame because junk dude is only 15 min away from my house too. But feel valued and appreciated at Buckeye Brass and Winds. Definitely a warm, fuzzy, and friendly atmosphere there with much more in inventory, especially accessories. Downside Im still out the mouthpiece and no longer want to try to attempt to return as discouraged at this point. I guess maybe its a difference in personality, who knows. Im disappointed and sad but still 4 stars as good and kind people and good store.
Great guy to work with.
Great selection of saxophone mouthpieces that you can try before buying.
One of the best people on the web; honest, high quality instruments and mouthpieces.
Excellent!!!
