Amazing breakfast l, how it should be. Ive been to those fancy breakfast places and felt eh was ok... this place was soo much better than those less decoration way better food. The service was amazing as well and the cook came out to say hi to the kids got me missing my dad. Family owned and they know how to cook.
My family and I love this place. The food is delicious and the service is the best. The staff is always so attentive and polite. They have the best Country Fried Steak in the Columbus area! If youre looking for a good homestyle meal this is definitely the place to go! They dont have a kids menu but they were very accommodating when I took my 5 year-old niece for a brunch date.
The breakfast was cheap the place was was clean. The people seemed to be nice but I don’t think I would return because it seemed like it wasn’t a place that a lot of black people visit often. The cash only wasn’t a issue. I like how it was private and quiet. The server did help me to save money on the menu. She was nice and she kept the coffee filled up. The coffee was fresh but my other issues was that the table booths were a tight fit.Other than that it’s worth a first time visit. Will I return probably not it’s just because I am black and it felt like a thank you for your service but don’t come back here ever again feeling.
We love this place! The food, the atmosphere, and the service are always 5-Star. The prices are reasonable. A great place to dine! Enjoy!!!
A little hometown diner with great food, sizeable portions and friendly staff.. I highly recommend Olde Village Diner.
I had the fish sandwich which was served with potato chips it was very good. Server was very pleasant The place felt like home.
The food was good. Coffee mediocre. The atmosphere is artic..bring a coat, even mid-summer. Service is prompt!
Great breakfast spot! Good solid breakfast items, tasty, friendly atmosphere and staff!
They have lots of really great home cooked meals. There are daily Specials Monday thru Friday. Weekends are usually Breakfast Specials. And the menu is full of YUMMY meals. Come check them out.
Great old style Mom and Pop diner. Simple inexpensive and good.
Only takes cash or check which could be inconvenient but come prepared. Food was fantastic. Just like moms. The menu is quite extensive for a small diner type of place. The weekly breakfast combo for 5.99 was delicious. Great service as well considering there was only one server for the ten or so tables inside.
Always great service and food!
Cute little diner. Average food.
Great food and great service!
Everything seems to be fine, but there are some staff that needs to observe but still good customer service!!
Good diner food with a friendly staff
Good service, good people
A nice little local diner nice peopleReasonable prices...Glad they accept debit & credit now...(Formerly cash only)Daily Special dinners are quite good.
Great hometown diner with a true homemade touch. If I were to open my own restaurant, this is what Id like to do. Great food, people and prices! Literally something on the menu for everyone. Its really difficult to find a place any more that serves a good eggs Benedict; your search is over!
Nice people, just need to re open
Great service, cozy environment. Really good food
Only been in here a few times but every time the food has been great. Service is always very friendly and food is relatively cheap. Highly recommend
My order was messed up. It was acknowledged, but didnt have time for it to be fixed. Nothing was taken off the bill. Checked the bill, which is hand written, waitress DID NOT write it downI know she understood me as she repeated it make to me. I also got a side of hash, not worth the price at all.I was very disappointed, as we had been wanting to eat here for sometime and today it worked out. (Its been tough with our schedules) I dont know if we will go back.
We just stopped in for the first time and it was delicious! We ordered biscuits and sausage gravy, mamas omelet and home fries. Coffee and orange juice were great too. We have tried 3 diners this year and this is by FAR the best we have been to.
The breakfast was great! a good selection of menu items as well! they had fall specials with pumpkin spice and apple cinnamon pancakes, waffles, etc. a good small town feel with good service!
Small place, no frills, no credit cards but the food was great. I had an awesome all-meat omellette with spinach and cheese, and it was packed. It had plenty of fillings. It may be my imagination, but it seemed like it had a buttery taste as well...cooked with butter rather than some non-stick product? Excellent! My wife got the blueberry pancake. Kinda thick, but still fluffy. Again, great flavor. We were there about 930, and there was only one other group eating. By the time we left at 10, they were pretty full. Get there early, and as others have said, bring cash. Dont expect anything fancy, but definitely give this place a try.
Food was very good, decent price, atmosphere was lovely, and our server was kind. Good place!
It was ok.
Amazing pancakes
Great little mom and pop style diner. Food tasted great! Definitely coming back!
Good homestyle meals. Had the country breakfast with Chicken fried steak. Delicious. Ten bucks covered everything including the coffee. We will be back.
Good old-fashioned American diner. They only take cash but the small-town atmosphere more than makes up for it. Theres not too many places like this left in America. I hope places like this stay around forever.
Nice little old diner had a great breakfast the people were very nice our server was great
Its a great lil place for breakfast. They do accept credit card too. They have pretty small coffee cups but they are absolutely great on making sure your cup is refilled. Their food is wonderful.
Come here frequently for breakfast. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious. Very comfortable atmosphere.
Good food, good service and reasonable prices.
What an awesome little diner with a great breakfast menu and super friendly staff. Niw I want to go back and try their lunch menu!
Wonderful food and warm atmosphere. Well kept secret in Old Pickerington
$9.50 for a bacon & cheese omelet, hash browns and wheat toast with water.I ordered home fries but whatever. Only 4 tables sat when I walked in and ordered breakfast. Bummer my order was screwed up but not worth my time to correct server.Looked like owner was there, milling around and looking over cook and servers shoulders while eating and drinking coffee on company dime.My omelet was small and luke warm with 2 pieces of American cheese not melted in the middle with some luke warm bacon around it. My home fries order was pretty grease soaked incorrect hash browns. Wheat toast was average. I had water to drink and still spent 11 bucks with my tip.I want so badly to call this place home and give it 5 stars, but every visit is the same. Something wrong, something not prepared as ordered and staff appears overwhelmed with an underwhelmed dining area. Prices a smidge high for what you get when compared to identical meals in same zip code at other restaurants.
I realy enjoyed this diner the people there were friendly, very prompt, and seem to know how to treat a person the diner had a home feeling I just was impressed w this small business. The food also was very good and made exactly how I like it. Very welcoming feeling. I suggest you try it
I have eaten at Olde Village Diner for breakfast, lunch and dinner and was completely satisfied each and every time. The food is delicious and priced right. The old school atmosphere cant be beat. I actually like the fact that its a cash-only restaurant, it keeps some charm in that respect. I can easily say Olde Village Diner is my favorite place to eat in Pickerington.
I had areally good breakfast there while visiting friends. The food is really fresh and plenty of it.
First time here (mothers day). They were packed and did a respectable job keeping up. Love the old school approach. Would have give 5 stars if they accepted credit cards. If youre looking for a slightly larger, similar type place, that accepts credit cards, consider maw mas in baltimore
I love the food here. Owner is very nice.
Great little country diner. Breakfast is excellent havent tried their lunch but it looks good.
Enjoyed the pecan pancake and CBH., Scrambled eggs looked more like a plain omelette and didnt understand the hash browns were in Patty form.Very weak coffee.
Amazing as always. Kind people. Good service and really nice combinations of food. From breakfast to lunch.
Reasonable prices for reasonable food and portions. Just don’t expect the best service... And other than eggs, waffles, etc., ALWAYS ask if an item is available/ready to serve when you order.
It was my first time there, and I was pleasantly surprised. Its your classic small town dinner, but the service was fantastic! And, now they accept credit cards, which is why it took my so long to try it.
Service was really good, but the food was incredibly bland and the atmosphere needs an update. Everything - from tables to silverware to decor - needs a facelift or a refresher. Four of us were cramped for some reason in a tiny booth (all the booths were tiny, in fact), even though the diner was almost completely empty. In addition, the diner is CASH ONLY which is likely short-sighted of the owners - I wonder how much business has been turned away by not keeping up with the era.For a diner, the breakfast was less than mediocre. The omelette was not very good - the sausage was tasteless and the mushrooms seemed to be from a can - although the portions were decent. For the price being charged, it was not worth it. Id rather drive a little further and give my business to the Nutcracker in Pataskala, which is the same price but MUCH more comfortable and servers breakfast with high-quality ingredients. One star for speed of food coming out, one star for cheerful service.
The place was dirty, there were flies everywhere and the place was cluttered with chairs. The food was cold but it was good. I wouldnt recommend it though.
Great food, cozy atmosphere and excellent service. You cant beat the prices either. Best breakfast on the East side of Columbus, hands down.
Waffle and omlet was yummy but pancakes are a nope. Small little cafe and food was quick and reasonably priced.
This place is great for a quick breakfast or a casual morning with the family, they do take Cards now just an fyi
Its ok not recommend going
Great little diner! Prices and food are great. Great and fast service
Cozy and welcoming with more than fair prices. The Big Country Breakfast is a steal.
It’s super good like better then any where else.
2nd time here, not my last. Hillbilly Lunch. Fried bologna sandwich, Fried potatoes, and a large cup of bean soup. Soup was really good. Waitress was really great.
Has pretty decent, home-style breakfast options. I found the eggs to often be undercooked (whites runny), dont get over-easy eggs.
Staff always friendly, great food, great price. The building itself needs remodeled and expanded for more seating.
Great diner food at bargain prices!
It was a stormy day out that day, we were looking for a local place to grab a late lunch and found this place. An older Greek couple owned it. Very nice couple. Turned out they close like at maybe 2pm. We walked in at 5 till. After we offered to come back another time, they insisted we stay. Glad we did.
Talk about a local fav! No big surprises on food but its fast and friendly like your local diner should be. Check out the walls...great local flavor and antique shops close by.
Great classic home town dinner. Great food and the waffles are amazing!
Yum!! Great place for a quick breakfast or lunch.
Very nice small restaurant the food was good waitress was nice but owner / cook came out to say hello good prices good specials would definitely go back again

Great home cooking, nice small town diner. This is a nice relief from chain restaurants.
Very quaint shop. food was a little above avg, just depends on what youorder. server was new and not very knowledgeable on the menu but the place was clean and the people friendly
Great mom and pop diner, its cash only but so reasonable great specials .
Great service, great food! Between the 5 of us we ordered omlettes, cheeseburgers, french toast and eggs. Remember to bring cash or a check, they dont take cards.
Loved that French toast mmm mmm mmm!
Great food! Nice Old time place! Amazing coffee too!
Small local place...great for breakfast.
Amazing food & wonderful service
Nice little dinner good food friendly staff and reasonable prices.
Good food, good price!
Sat at a table for 15 minutes. Waitress walked by us 3 separate times and never said anything. 15 minutes without being waited on is ridiculous so we walked out. Terrible service. Won’t be back!
It was a wonderful find, an excellent meal at a fair price!!
The biscuits and gravy were good but the location is cash only and the closest ATM, can be difficult to get to
Good food good service
Throwback Diner. Good food, great service, decent prices. CASH only.
Top 10 favorite. Ask for maggie.
