Most horrible store ever. They treat their customers like dirt. They did nothing to help me when the forty dollars cash back I requested at the self check out was obviously taken by another customer who was pushing me through the line. The service desk was unwilling to help me. I will be filing a formal complaint with the Giant corporate headquarters. All I want is my forty dollars that I did not get. I think giant makes enough money to make this right. I also recommend that giant teaches its management to be more customer centric. Terrible store would not recommend. We have plenty of stores to choose from and this one should not be chosen. So so disappointing.

I go Giant every morning for the fresh foods. The associates are very helpful. The store is always clean. I always use the self check out. The associates (Clara and Peg) are wonderful.

They need to do a better job of stocking the beer. Most times I go there it is not very cold this time it was warm. The local beer distributor beer is always cold. While its a little more convenient sometimes Im just better off going to the distributor.

I looked in three different places for a vegan product that my wife likes and finally asked a team member. He told me where he thought it was, I told him I already looked there and continued shopping. Five minutes later I’m at the other end of the store and here comes the team member with the product in hand. I obviously, overlooked it. Great customer service!

This review is for Angel, in charge of the self-checkout area when I was shopping this week. She was very helpful, friendly and efficient. When the scanner erred, she simply fixed it—fast. She didn’t make you wait for her to do what needed to be done. She was conversive and stone cold normal with a twist of genuine kindness. When I asked her name and heard it was Angel, I said, “Of course it is!” This is the type of employee who deserves to be recognized and rewarded for doing a great job and for simply being a nice person to those who need her help.

Its always fun and lively and full of energy at this Mega store...And the cashiers are pretty upbeat. Giant gives all other stores a run for their money, thats for sure...Picking up my moms Rxs at the pharmacy is always super, And today I treated myself to a freshly made bagel… yummy!

Nice variety of foods. Not extremely overly priced. Could have a larger variety of meats and international foods. Overall still a good place to shop in Phoenixville. I love that fact I received a response to my review. I will definitely be returning to look for new products. Thank you.

Sometimes products are out of stock however in these days and age, you cannot blame the store. Not enough truck drivers to unload the 724 ships sitting around the one major port for weeks on end, waiting to unload containers.

This Giant used to be the best, but the last couple of months have seen a serious decline in service. The employees are no longer helpful, there are rarely enough registers open, and the self service lines now have the weight scales turned on (was a huge time save to not have them on). Furthermore, any attempt at a discussion with the new manager is pointless, she just gives you the Im sorry Were doing our best routine - just words Maam. Actions speak louder, so Ill be heading over to Rt 100 Giant from here on out.Updated: owner reached out which I do appreciate. Will update again if my next few visits improve.

Ive been to giants all over PA even in the bad parts of philly. This store is in a prominent location yet it is the worst store I’ve ever been in. The employees seem just as irritated as the customers.Most the lines are closed. The main self service is so congested and don’t get me started on the automated bagging scanner. Omg never have I been emotionally tested by a stores self check out not once twice but every time.Then if the thing won’t let you bag no more, you wait for one of the many employees clearly passing seeing you need there badge to walk over swipe and walk away. This is if your shopping at 10am 3pm or 7pm m-f I’ve been there all hours all days always the same. Wish there was another giant I could use for my points in town.The in store shop cart employees! Don’t ask them didally squat because they miswell not even work there they are only there to scan and shop for online customers asking them for anything is a huge inconvenience to there time.The bags at the self check out line you spend upwards to 20secs a bag just trying to open one.What gets me is the lines with employees if your a young and able customer they scan slide down the belt for you to bag. The entire time your wishing the self automated would just let you scan and go. The customers works harder then the line employees and there process is a lot easier.I hate hate hate this store it needs an entire new over hall. Finally

Huge place. Many selections of any given items. Came here for 6 pieces of battery, they have a whole wall of all different brands and packages.Being a huge place, it took us awhile to find windshield washer, probably need a indoor gps.Staff cashier we met is extra friendly. Overall a good shopping experience.

Really good selection. Deli always takes FOREVER! My mobile order didnt come through but the people at the deli counter quickly resolved the issue. It was also concerning that there were two separate groups of 4-5 employees standing together chatting. They were not socially distancing which is concerning for many reasons.

Giant is a fine grocery store. I honestly drive a good deal further to go to Wegman’s because Giant really just can’t compete with Wegman’s. But comparing Giant to what we used to consider normal before Wegman’s came to town, Giant is great. If you’re looking for the classic grocery store experience, this Giant is what you’re looking for.

Good food, very convenient,friendly staff!

I needed two gallons of TH Lemonade and the shelves were bare. I asked an employee from the meat section if more were in back. He found two and brought them out. Greatly appreciated the assist and service.

Most times they are very crowded at the registers and the self checkout lanes are a nightmare. I also dislike the rotating bag checkout lanes. Everything about this store makes it so slow to checkout.

Its a fine grocery store. They had what I needed, I bought what I needed. Prices are fine. Checkout was fine. Nothing special, just fine. Get in, get out, eat good.

This Giant is a little older. I actually worked here at 16 when it first opened. But its not messy or out of date as some older shops look. Its clean and well stocked with items that the Phoenixville/Kimberton demographic demands.

Not happy with this store anymore. Hardly any good meat lots of shelves are bare guess because peapod grabs all the good stuff. I used to shop here quite regularly but not anymore. Very poorly run.

As much as I want to give Giant a solid review, their produce section is lacking in quality. Also, their layout can be confusing at times. I only really shop here because its close to my house.

This is my locale Giant. Today I went for cough and cold medicine. Great deals on not only non-brand items but name brand as well. Definitely pays to have the Giant card, saved even more! Received a coupon for next time! Did self check-out, the cashier was accessible and friendly. Checked my ID quickly and efficiently.

Just overheard an employee tell his supervisor that he did not feel well. The supervisor said well you look fine to me so youre not going home, and then he just walked away before the employee could say anything.

I am very appalled by the complete and utter lack of service or employees at your seafood counter. As well as the lack of assistance from your employees walking by and noticing full well that we needed help. Another gentlemen waiting as well was there for 20 minutes and was finally told he would be waiting 15 more. If you want to buy up corporate America and put the mom and pop shops out of business such as darrenkamps and mussers then maybe you should hire competent and enough staff to cover your need. And I hope you understand how much money you lost from what was going to be a pricey sale for a seafood themed 75th anniversary party. We will never shop at your grocery chain again. Never would happen at darrenkamps.

People are who work here are very good very helpful, knowledgeable about their store and very kind to anyone with a disability.

Sunday is the busiest day, and the storewere crowded with employees blocking products in about 5-6 aisles. It was very frustrating.

As others have said, friendly staff, very slow deli, good selections, but the prices are getting quite bad, something like a box of the same cookies or a bag of bagels are $2.00 cheaper at say, a walmart or even target. Overall I prefer giants to other grocery stores but the addition of ever growing alchohol sections, rising prices and reduced hours isnt helping the experience.

Ive been going here for about two years and I have no complaints. The staff is very nice! The crew in the pharmacy are the best!

I shopped during Senior Hour. Made my list at home before shopping. My bill before scanning my Giant Card was $120. After my Card my total was only $60. I have never saved that much money! Even the Cashier was impressed!

Bread department in this store is the best! Always neat and well stocked.Cashiers need to be taught how to bag certain items, especially from the salad bar. They shouldnt be placed sideways in the bag so that your chicken salad spills over into the potato salad. $6.88 for a big mess!

Too many employees in the way. With Covid it is hard enough to stay 6 feet away and the employees are in the way to shop.

Around two years ago Giant was a 5 star. 24 hours and some of the lowest prices around. Today Im able to find lower priceing and better hours at other stores. I never shopped like this before. I go to the dollar store first then Wal-Mart. Then finally Giant. I save a ton of money. Before I just went to Giant. I have even started going to Renders. They even have lower priceing. Good quality also. Hey Giant! Your going in the wrong direction. The same thing almost killed Acme stores a few years back. Getting bought out saved them.

I love the organic food choices, especially fresh produce. Natures Promise brand meats are generally additive free. And Giant gives gas points! A nice shopping experience.

Store is located right where 23 & 113 meet. Well stocked, busy during the day. Ample parking but watch for all the stop signs. The local pd tend to sit in hidden spots watching.

This is your typical supermarket, only the prices seem to be a bit higher than others. I could maybe understand the prices for some items but same items here are a little higher. Customer service is just average.

I like this store. Its in close vicinity and I find almost what I need in in terms of grocery and household products. The employee are nice always greet you with a smile. The store is kept clean. Also they have a free fruit for kids to eat in the store which has an option of either banana or orange. I appreciate this as kids can have something healthy to much on other than eating the sugar filled cookies or slatt chips

Employees are usually very helpful and want to do everything the can to help you. Even though mom is hurt from an accident that occured at a 5 Below and is going through a hard time, employees always are kind to her and want to help her in any way that they can. I will not be shopping at Giant in Phoenixville anymore due to the employees blatant disregard for social distancing and inability to wear masks correctly.

Clean store and friendly staff, but I often have trouble with sales and coupons here. Their online circular is vague, and the only way to tell which products apply to a deal is to either start an online cart and see if it gives you a discount at checkout, or drive to the store and see whats tagged as applicable. I often have to weigh my time against the money I would save trying to figure out if a deal or discount applies to my preferred item, and not just three of the twenty varieties of deodorant/toothpaste/chips sold by a company.I purchase my staple items here but watch for deals at a different local chain, as theyre easier to utilize.

Prices are great. Easy to find everything. 6 self checkout lines makes it easy to get out fast when lines are long. Only issue is how long it takes the deli to get to you and complete your order.

BIG store. Lots of selection. Produce section is quite large. Beer laws in Pennsylvania are weird. You can only buy TWO six-packs and you have to pay for them at a special register near the beer. Strange.

Helped by an employee - I think his name was Luis - who just walked over when he saw I was having a problem. Very nice of him. Only complaint is deli which tends to be very slow.

This Place is awesome and very helpful. I had a situation at the selfcheckout today and when I came back to the store about my problem no one gave me a hard time solving it. I appreciate the time and effort of the manager and staff I talked to because they were so nice to look into the manner.

Its no Wegmans (I visited both while in PA) but it gets the job done. Midwestern transplants- this is roughly equivalent to a Kroger. Decent produce selection but could be improved. I appreciated the quick checkout time. Parking is plentiful.

Went to deli for Red potato salad, none in case & the other 2 varieties looked old. I asked deli clerk,she was nice, she asked deli manager who didnt look in back to see he came out front found&went to hand me 1lb package.I explained I only wanted 1/2lb. he Refused to sell me it so I left...went to Wegmans, where I should have gone anyway..

The new beer section is a plus for anyone not wishing to make the extra visit to a distributor. The store is more in line with similar stores in states not as restrictive as Pa alcohol control. The produce section is an example of doing the least they can do. There are so many local produce stands to compete that it seems they dont care to make the effort.

Nice deals but always a mad house, it ridiculous! Your literally cart to card down any isle with customers.

The Giant app adds even more coupons you can use and updates them every Thursday. Currently their coupon policy is beyond incredible. Ive had over 200 coupons used in 1 single transaction without any complications or problems. Finally, I absolutely love their store hours. Ive always been pleased when shopping at Giants Food store. They have a large selection of just about anything you want or need. The stores are clean and well organized shopping aisles.

I’ve never had a wrong order from a supermarket before. I distinctly remember waiting 20 mins at the deli for my order and it being my first time shopping at this giant because I moved to Phoenixville. Couple days later I wanted try the Smoked Gouda I got but when I opened the package it was turkey.... and the Gouda was not in any of the others bags. So I paid 10.99 a lb for turkey and didn’t get my smoked Gouda and haven’t a way to really prove that my package was wrong...

They really should train their baggers how to correctly bag groceries. Meat belongs ALONE. Cleaning products belong ALONE. Sometimes the bags are so heavy you can barely lift them. Perhaps common sense is not so common in everyone.

This market constantly runs out of organic milk and organic eggs. The prices are decent. Where Giant really shines is if you maximize on the bonus savings and get discounts on gas purchases. Ive saved over $1 per gallon after just a couple of weeks of shopping. It pays to look through the circular.

Great value and selection

This store just keeps getting worse. They have very little stock - no broccoli, no bananas, almost no Triscuits, no hamburger rolls, no low sodium bacon (thats on sale), very few strawberries (also on sale), .... They spread out the stock to make it look like they have more but then the aisles are packed with people trying to dodge the stupid in aisle displays while looking for the item they really want (which most likely wont be there anyhow). Then you get to the checkout. They are so worried about people stealing that you can only scan 1 item at a time and the sensors dont even pick up that what youve scanned is what you put in the bag half the time. If youve purchased multiples, you have to go through and count everything scanned vs receipt. I gave up, packed up the 75% order scanned and took it through a regular line. Im finding that more recently Redners has much better quality, so I think after being a loyal Giant customer for 20 years, spending hundreds a week, its time for me to jump ship. This store is a stinker.

Giant always has a good variety of foods. I love that they have an area designated to organic and all natural products. Everything is easy to find and their prices are decent.

Probably the best grocery store in the area in terms of balancing low prices with good staff. One thing I would like improved: the deli order screens have some items that the deli doesnt actually stock. Of course I dont know that until I come to pick up the order and the deli worker tells me they dont stock that item. If an item isnt available, just remove it from the order screen please!

Register did not ring sale price for 3 items. Difference was $5.49. Head cashier explained that they are only able to refund the cost of the item for 1 item. This case $3.69???? Why wouldnt you adjust the total sale?

I really appreciate the ever growing selection of health/vegan products as well as organic produce Giant has. It makes for a very convenient affordable shop! :)
