We were so glad to finally be able to stop in to Reads & Company this past weekend! Picked up an autographed copy of the bestselling book Phoenixville Rising written by Robb Cadigan, one of the partners behind Reads & Company, as well as a few other books for some light summer reading. They have a very nice selection of books, a small childrens corner, and a terrific atmosphere. A must visit if you are in town!

Reads is awesome! The staff are always helpful, whether you are looking for something specific or need a suggestion. Whoever curates the in-store selection does a great job, I always find more books than I can carry (or afford), and the selection is so diverse. Reads gift certificates are my go-to gift, everyone loves to get them!

It is very clear what their political opinions are. Pretty good selection. Would have liked to sit, read & linger, had not current covid restrictions prohibited.dont have much money, but try to support our local downtown centres of literature.I like their employee choice section - like back in the day with video stores!

I will always miss Artisans, the coffee shop that stood for many years where Reads & Company now holds court. Rich the barista-owner was a great part of the community.I get the same community-minded feeling when walking into Reads. There are always interesting and not-run-of-the-mill finds to behold, & the physical space has been restored to original glory. Its a cool little place to spend some time when hangung out on Bridge St.

I absolutely love this local bookstore! I am a reader of all genres of the written word. This brick and mortar bookstore is such a refreshing experience. The selection is amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed Ten Innings at Wrigley by Kevin Cook! The childrens story time is awesome, weve been twice and the boys loved it. We are honored to have this bookstore in our local town! Great work, guys!

The first time was a few days after they opened and it was clear they were still getting things set up but the owners were there and they were very helpful. Since then Ive visited a few more times and Ive always enjoyed my visits. The selection is pretty large and varied and the prices are very reasonable. Its nice to have a bookstore so close by so Ill definitely be visiting again.

Fantastic bookstore! They have a great selection of everything from the latest releases to timeless classics, and are happy to special order anything they may not have in the store. A special order I placed recently showed up in just three days with a level of personal care and attention that I wouldnt have received shopping online. When I went in to pick up the book, the shop staff and I got to talking about books, and its just wonderful to nerd out with fellow readers and neighbors in the same community. Ive also attended a few author talks which is an extra value you cant get shopping online. Always a delight to visit this shop, whether to browse aimlessly, ask for reading suggestions, or to pick up a much-anticipated new release. Looking forward to many future visits!

Beautiful little store that hits you with the smell of fresh books as soon as you cross the threshold. The selection was small but well curated. I went for one book in particular (which they had in stock! Hurray!) but just walking around I found another few books that I hadnt heard of that struck my fancy. The store is bright and clean with a couple seats, but its not really a place for hunkering down. Will definitely be returning!

The biggest indie bookstore Ive even seen in a quaint, tiny town. I couldnt wait to get my hands on some new books today. So, I popped down to Reads & Company to see what they had. The selection surprised me.Alice Walker? Check.Barbara Kingsolver? Check.Anne Lamott? Check!I was in bookworm heaven!Clean. Well lit. Friendly owner working behind the counter. I think he name was Jason. This place is wonderful!Lots of classics. Progressive literature like LGBT table. Tons of new publications. Cutest little childrens book section with a rocket ship that I had to resist sitting in because that would have been a little too weird. And get this...they have a Spanish literature section, too. In case youre wondering, the answer is yes. I did max out my credit card buying Harry Potter books in Spanish.Go now. Shop local. Support independent stores like this one. And share about it here with a pic of you and the rocket ship.
