Staff was short on the phone with me and no better in-person when my wife dropped by. Weve only used Dunn Edwards for years but after our latest experiences, were outa there... The Sherwin-Williams person matched the paint perfectly and had the sheen we were looking that DE didnt. The person my wife worked with at SW was incredible and most of all, we got what we couldnt at Dunn Edwards. Thanks for being short with us and making us want to go elsewhere

They just lost a customer. The staff here is really making it hard to even pick up samples ordered by a contractor for us. They repeatedly refused to help us.First, they refused to look up the account by phone number and insisted on knowing the exact company name.Then, to pick up our paint, they insisted on knowing the exact color name. (We just remember it had the word sand in it.) This by itself is reasonable since we dont want to pick up the wrong thing. But, they show zero interest in helping. They wont tell us which colors the contractor has placed to help us narrow down.All in all, I think they dont want our business.

I visited this store twice in the past month. Both times, the sales reps were not friendly. On both visits, I asked a couple basic questions about choosing a paint color and which type of sheen would be best. Both times, the employees made it seem like my questions were annoying and gave me short replies without any elaboration. Considering this is a paint store, I imagine they get asked similar questions on a daily basis. I think the employees I spoke to are just tired of people asking the same questions every day and they now have a negative attitude when answering those questions. I went to the other Dunn Edwards store on 101 and Chandler and had a much better experience there. Their employees answered my very basic questions and within a few minutes I left with the paint I needed.

Very friendly support staff and fair prices. I was disappointed that they told me the color advisor will be there in 30 min and we waited for closer to an hour. clean store with lots of color options.

Lovely paint, however the service leaves a lot to be desired. I came here a few years ago and had an alright enough time, though the process of getting samples was much more expensive than other comparable paint companies Nd the lady at the counter wasn’t very friendly. Then today I came in trying to get some new samples of a few colors of paint I purchased when I was there 3 years ago, plus I brought in one paint color from a different brand that I wanted to see if they could match as closely as possible. I explained that I didn’t need much since it was just for covering holes and touch ups before I sold my home. When I first came here in 2016 I purchased several samples, including those of the ones I eventually used. I ended up throwing the samples away because I still had left over paint. But when I opened the paint cans it had gone bad. The man at the counter was not welcoming, flat out refused to sell me anything smaller than a gallon of two of the paints, and told me he couldn’t match the other brand I brought in because of the different sheens. I understand that each company has different types of sheens. It isn’t like I was going to paint a whole wall, just needed a small amount and the sheen wasn’t going to make any difference. He could have been helpful but was determined not to be, so I told him so and I left. I will buy Dunn Edwards paint for future paint needs because it is a good product, but I won’t come back to this location again.

I went in knowing the paint color and sheen. However, I wasnt sure of the type of paint needed. The cashier convinced me to buy their most expensive quoting that it was the same that was used before. Got home and it didnt match despite being exact same color and sheen. Called in to ask for a replacement and got told no. I wish they would have told me to double check the paint type before just selling me a $50 can of paint that is worthless to me now. Very poor customer service.
