I love Big 5. Friendly staff along with quality products. Bought a baseball glove and a knife for much less than I would be charged at another major sporting goods store. Happier than a kid in a playground.

Since this location updated their staff, things are so much better! They have great customer service the new Manager is a keeper shes very respectful including their remaining staff!...

Dont shop here.. main lady had unnecessary attitudes when you cant find things because theres no organization of the products.. not only that after she figured out online it should have been there but we couldnt find it in that mess of a store... So I went down the street to the other one that looked like a well running store and purchased numerous items I couldnt find at this one.. store managers need to put their manager pants on and make it look like a store instead of a tote up walmart

Thank you for reading the Honest Reviews4U! This is a great little outdoor and sports store. I was greeted upon entering the store. The store was very clean and organized. You can shop here for some camping gear, exercise or sport clothing and equipment. They also have a variety of shoes for him and her. Custom service was friendly especially in the shoe section. The only opportunity I found was that some of the displayed items were not labeled as super saver and as a result I made it hard to distinguish what items could be used with a coupon and what items disqualified. I highly suggest to insure any item that qualifies as super saver should be labeled as such in the displayed items (for this reason 4 of 5 stars). Other than that great place to visit with plenty of clean parking space. I highly recommend this place. 👍

They have such awesome deals yet not enough product, shoes to sell always.

My husband and I went in to buy some long-sleeve cool shirts for the summer time. We asked an employee where the shirts are and his remark was everything we have is out on the floor. So we kept walking around looking at different items and ran into the shirts we were looking for. The employee had no knowledge of the store and was more fixated on talking with all of the other employees. When we left the store we said very loudly goodbye thank you because it was rude of them to not say thank you and have a good day. Again they were all just too busy talking amongst ourselves. This store has horrible customer service

Alot of stuff was out of stock but they had what I needed, thank goodness.

I guess it just goes to show that when you hire somebody from the streets that actually lives in Maryville all they really do is just basically sit there and just say yay nay they have no idea what’s going on I need to go back to school and learn about sales representatives they have no idea sorry bad experience not only by with me but I have seen other customers ask for certain items where the rat staff is totally lost thinking about their boyfriends and on their phone and they just in La La Land sorry for giving you a bad review but I’m glad that some of the other big fives in other areas not in the Mary Valley area are totally capable and competent to do something oh my Lord

Got some affordable hiking boots! Went for just one pair so I could do yard work, thing is I need size 14. Did not see anything on the shelf. So I ask the guy and he brings two types. One $20.00 which was $40.00 & the other was $45.00 which was $65.00 so I bought them both. I was very happy 😊! Also bought a nice knife for my son in-laws birthday!

Found exactly what I wanted at a great price without having to walk into a big box store, as soon as I walked in they asked what I was looking for and walked me to the correct area. The water sipping backpacks were all high quality and I found a great one in my budget of under $20 . I would recommend this store to everyone.

I live by the one on baseline and 35th ave, and this store is packed, it has everything, customer service is great at this store, this store makes the store on baseline look like a mini sporting store, alot more selection at this store.

Amazing customer service! Came in today after long day of work, with my daughter just for some soccer cleats. As cashier Karen helped us out she went out her way showed us a good soccer deal & also made sure my daughter had everything she needed for soccer! Very sweet girl ! They have a good selection of shoes but not enough wide width choices. They should have cotton socks for sale but they only have them for men. Overall it is a good store with a friendly and helpful staff.

Light skin at the guy counter has great customer service. Dealt with him a few times. Hes very patient.

The young Hispanic gentleman that helped me with purchasing work boots was very polite and more than helpful. Plus he could carry on a conversation about a wide variety of topics that he showed knowledge about. Gave me faith that not all of his generation are listless.

Got a great pair of workout shoes. And wanted Nike sandals but employees were to busy standing around talking instead of helping customers. The security guard was the only nice person at the store and the cashier. Thats it .I would rather go out of my way to another Big 5 then go back to this store.. This store needs to. Improve before I go back. and I told them that when I left.

Very calm sports store. Privacy was respected and the gun counter was knowledgable. Staff were friendly and respectful during time spent and time leaving. It is alittle over crowded with product but this is my go to Big 5 branch and have yet to have an issue. Thank you

Had bought a drone as a Christmas gift but didnt work. So I went to another location to exchange it for another one. It had the same issue and I wanted a full return at this point. I believe that the employees knew those items had defects and decided to sell it me anyways. Waisted my time and money. Got a better drone at Walmart.

Found nice cleats for my son for football, but didnt have the money at the time, however, the store was able to put them on layaway for one week with no money deposit. Thats what I call service. Not to mention the helpful staff. Would definitely recommend this store for your sporting good needs.

This big five is good, I met an employee here. She just started, but she was extremely helpful and answered all questions on products. If youre a woman though, I recommend coming here when theres light out, area is kinda sketchy.

One of my favorite stores. Always nice helpful staff! The store manager is very and is informative on fishing licenses.

Surprisingly they had childrens wrestling shoes. I usually have a difficult time finding a store with them for younger kids. I just wish they had more than two different shoes to choose from. However, it beats ordering them online and ending up with the wrong size. I also like that they have seats in there so I was able to rest while my boys went crazy looking at everything.
