Miss Stephanie that works at this store, ROCKS! I work for U-Haul and she gives better customer service than I do! I give great customer service and when I can be outdone, well that is pretty darn good! Go for U-Haul International! Stephanie needs a raise!

I ordered a hitch and 7-pin wiring installation (and equipment) in August for an October 5 installation. I called on the day of installation to reconfirm it and was told they didnt have the hitch. Nobody called me. As it turns out they dont have the 7-pin wiring either. When I asked what should I do, Im going to get my travel trailer on Friday and I need the hitch, the woman on the phone laughed and I told her it wasnt funny. I told her I ordered it in mid-August and now Im in a bind. Then she hung up. Terrible customer service at this location! Fortunately, U-Haul corporate office was able to find a location that has a hitch and wiring and can get it done for me. The funny thing is that I chose this location because of the reviews. Somewhere management or staff must have changed because its terrible now.

This place is absolutely the BEST U-Haul I have ever been to. Back in May I was moving to Georgia and Bruce was right there helping me understand everything I needed to know on my move. He helped me with getting the best information from providing me his knowledge and experience as well as making sure I left the lot completely comfortable! I not only felt cared for but also I felt incredibly safe for my trip thanks to the people at this amazing place! They love to make you feel welcomed and will do anything they can to help you. I cannot believe it took me this long to realize I never wrote a review when they should get the credit that they deserve

My daughter has always used this particular site 3 times now for her moving needs which I was the driver. Now I m using them for my needs, I remember Ive used them before to move to California, now Im back as a AZ residence. Trucks are always clean in cabin as well as truck. 5 star rating.

Made appointment for hitch installation weeks in advance. Stated they need reservation number on day of appointment which was never given/offered. No appointments for weeks

The guy behind the counter I really wish I would have got his name he was absolutely amazing he works with me when unforeseen issues came along absolutely amazing customer service I will definitely be using that location again in the future.

Be ready to get gouged if you decide to use this location. I used the truck 4 hours with non working tail lights, and got charged extra for all sorts of things. Somehow used “8 gallons” of gas for 30.5 miles. Yea. That math works. There is another uhaul a mile south- you do not need to use this one and get gouged like me. Never again.

ALL OF OUR BELONGINGS ARE OUT ON THE SIDEWALK. With NO TRAILER. Because ....It’s a terrible experience. We have spent thousands and thousands of dollars on U-Haul. Renting to move or storage units. the difficul thing is they do not care about the customer. They made us go to another location to see if they would consider our crisis situation. Thoroughly explaining we were I danger staying in Az when our house was just about broken into. We had to move in just a week across the United States. Because of the high demands of people moving too and from Phoenix they would not help us get what belongs we could take. They said we will refuse to drop any price because we could make more with someone else’s who will pay 1,400.00.They let us know “it’s not our problem. Not our concern.” So now we will not be able to fit our bed into a 5 by 8 and they know that.In reality this company makes billionsThank you U-Haul for wasting an hour and a half sending us too a different location. Instead you could have picked up the phone to call that location yourself. You wanted us out of your hair. Thank you U-Haul for letting us know our business and consistency was disposable.Do not come to them on need

The condition of the cabin was clean and comfortable. I’ve never been in a Moving truck that actually smelled clean and I’ve had my fair share. Your staff is incredible and made me feel like they had my back with my last-minute late drop off. That goes for both on site staff and in the call center. Feedback: Maybe I missed it but it may be a good idea to mention in the contract where the key drop off is located ;)

Bruce the general manager is amazing! I have been in multiple times over the past few months spending hundreds of dollars on packing supplies and boxes. He has always provided superb customer service and always loads my truck for me to make my experience easier. I am moving to Washington in a month and have to spend a few thousand dollars on a truck for a week. He has been so helpful getting that arranged also. Moving is always awful but thanks to Bruce it was as enjoyable as possible. Thank you Bruce!

Solid customer service. I stop by for boxes, packing material, plastic coverings, and other items all of the time. Whenever I do need to rent a truck or trailer, they always make sure to have the equipment ready to go.

When the agent realized the pickup i had reserved was going to be late, she offered another bigger truck for the same price! Very professional and helpful!

I brought the truck back because of a right rear tire issue. It was on my mind that the truck would sustain damage if I continued to ride on the tire, especially when I had the weight of my furniture inside the cargo hold. The staff immediately checked the tire for leaks, inflated the tire, and reassured me that the tire was not damaged. The manager also credited me for the mileage of the return to the facility and reduced my bill. I was so impressed with the service that I intend to use his facility when I rent another truck in a few months. Thank you.

My reservation was for 4 am but when I got there no one had left a key and there was no dolly in it. I had to come back during regular business hours 3 hours after my pickup time and all I got was $10 taken off my bill. I called U-Haul support and I got my $50 credit for reservation guarantee because no one at the location would. Very disappointed in the actual location and rental.

In the past year I have moved twice. I am a DIY mover. The service here and attitude has been outstanding. Well above and beyond. I hope I am done with moving for a while, but if not I would come here in a second.

If I could give zero stars I would. This place is a joke, they do not care about their customers at all. I had a better experience with one of the reps than I did the general manager.I made a reservation and when I showed up the truck wasn’t available so they upgraded me and then wrote the mileage down wrong. When I called to let them know about it after they charged my card I was told I would receive a $15 credit and now 5 days later the general manger is telling me that is not correct and his team shouldn’t have promise that.He was not helpful or apologetic for my experience and wasted time contacting them over and over (because the store does not answer the phone). Basically ended the phone call telling me I wasn’t getting my money back and there was nothing he could do. Definitely won’t be going here again considering this isn’t the first time I’ve had an issue with them.

They helped me get the best deal for the long road ahead and had his personal number if I had any problems along the way! I have stage 4 cancer and was going over 1200 miles to get my radiation and had to take whatever u could for the move and they were so helpful and understanding I would recommend them as long as you are honest with them they will go out of their way to try and make your rental stuff as good and reasonable!I thank them for all they did and bless them all for what they helped with thank you!

I asked which way would be cheaper… Whether a one way rental to the East Side of town or returning it back at the location I rented at from. I was told returning on the East Side 1 way rental would be my best deal. After we returned the uhaul, I figured it out it cost me over $73.06 more to do the one way rental because we only used 20 miles, it gave us 60 miles to use. We told the guy we would probably only put on 25 miles. Ive always used u-haul and Ive always trusted the employees but Im not sure I will ever use u haul again. That was a lot of money to be out. I am very disappointed.

Wonderful wonderful wonderful service. The staff is phenomenal. So eager to help and so knowledgeable all moving needs. Always concerned with what you may need however not eager to upsell and things that you would not. I have always driven to 10 extra miles to come to this location for the staff.

Got a hitch put on by them and when I got home I noticed the rear lights were loose....they did not put the screws back in and the covers...took it back and they couldnt find all the pieces for it even though it was only 3 and a half hours later(Same day)! They tried to put a cover back on without a screw in and also use a screw that didnt fit...they told us they will call us tomorrow if it turns up after they clean garage.. didnt offer a discount, we had to ask! They seem a little shady! Lets hope the hitch stays on!

Darryl was super helpful and just amazing all the way around. he was concerned about our safety hauling a jeep behind our 4runner and went the extra mile to insure we had everything locked and loaded properly. great location!!!

Always willing to help, I’ve rented from them a few times. Besides a little timely due to them being helpful I will rent from them again.

If you rent from this location, make sure you check EVERYTHING before driving away with a rental. We thought we checked everything, but we didnt think to check and make sure the employee wrote down the correct mileage on the paper that was on the truck before we used it. When we returned the truck, the guy told us we went over 100 miles. We tried to tell him that he was wrong and we knew it wasnt possible, but when they write down a number on the paper.. thats what they go by. So, make sure you take pictures and double check. I went online & used mapquest to put in every single stop/route from the second we picked it up till we dropped it back off and it showed we drove 61 miles. Which is right. Needless to say, we were charged for more miles than we shouldve been and the guy that first helped us shouldve done his job correctly.

Paid cash when rented the trailer. Agent called abd demanded we return the unit early then tried to charge us again. Wont be back to this location seeing as how we were dealing with the nabager. No apology. No reduction in price for having to return unit early. No coupons for a next visit. No customer service.

Rented a truck here when we moved. The manager was extremely clear and upfront with all the fees and why theyre applied. No issues.

The only reason they received 1 star is because you cannot post unless giving at least 1- if there were a category of negative stars this U Haul would get a -5. U Haul charged us extra money unnecessarily because A does not know what B is doing and C could care less. Of course after Bruce Aliberto Jr, the manager at this location was shown all our corresponding emails ( naturally we were inconvenienced by having to take time out of our day to bring to his attention in person) he agreed that we were wrongfully charged. So yes we get a refund but again inconvenienced and have to wait til Tuesday of next week to get the money that basically as far as We are concerned was stolen from us. I tried to tell Bruce Aliberto Jr. That we should have been refunded in cash because this was not a refund on something we purchased, it was refunded because U Haul messed up once again and he explains that he does not have the capability to give cash and that it is not the practice for U Haul to refund in cash...obviously they know how to take cash though right? Right! This is the best part..as a conciliation prize Bruce feels we were done wrong and gives us ...ready ? We get a 25 USD gift certificate redeemable at U Haul, yes U Haul gives us free U Haul money for our troubles. How generous, 1st they rip us off then want us to feel better by giving free U Haul crap. Sorry Bruce stupid is not stamped on my forehead. I will never nor will I ever recommend this location or ANY U Haul EVER ! !

I came here shortly after my fiasco with the 51st Ave & Glendale location and Darrell took great care of me, I believe thats his name. Hes the owner and is on top of his game. Rent from here and you wont be disappointed.

Stay away from this uhaul. The 10 truck I rented calculated mileage wrong as if it had been tampered with. I drove 73 miles total and was charged for 119 miles. We always plan our route when renting a truck so we know exactly how many miles we use. Bogus manager and customer service rep will steal your money.. You have been warned!! Now rent from somewhere else, anywhere else but uhaul!!!.

I paid a visit to the U-Haul store off of the I-17 and Dunlap to purchased a coupler lock 4 a trailers. When I arrived back at my shop and put the lock on the trailer the key that it came with would not unlock it!! so I could not attach my trailer to my vehicle and I could not remove the lock. I had to take a pair of channel locks and twist it until it broke free so I could remove it from the trailer. The lock mechanism itself is not damaged there are very few scrape/scratch marks but nothing severe. I return to the store for a replacement lock but the gentleman named Darryl Jackson (ANYTHING BUT A GENTLEMAN) told me because of the slight marks from the channel locks and the fact that one of the same exact item was missing from his inventory ( THATS RIGHT HE WAS CALLING ME A THEIF! ) That he couldnt even exchange it! I did not want a refund because my boss obviously needed the lock. I would not suggest even my worst enemy go there

Dont go to these jerks to lazy to hook up a trailer so they sent me down the road. Told me the trailers they had were broken. Found out that this turd was flat out lying to me. They used to get all my business now they can FO- freakin AholesGo see Kevin at 19th and Hatcher location even working alone in the rain this guy went all out to get me down the road.
