They went above and beyond to get track day tires and new brake pads mounted for my bike. They stayed late to make sure everything was prepped for my bike before I left for my track day trip. They went way above and beyond to track down the tires I needed last minute. I was very late in requesting things be done, and they took it in stride with a no problem- we got this attitude and they made it happen. Ill definitely be going back for whatever I need for my sportbike!!

I honestly love this place. If you dont want to over spend and have work done at a reasonable rate and know that you can trust these guys to work on your baby, this is the place too be.They take great pride in the work that they do and they always go the extra mile, like cleaning your bike, chain maintenance, a brief diagnostic, all for free.I would give them 5 stars, but some of the workers dont exactly share a positive attitude, and dont go the extra mile to try to create conversation/interact with you. Plus the place is not as well kept as it could be.All in all, I always have a great experience coming here, but not excellent. Regardless, i would still recommend this place over any other due to knowledge, hard work, dedication to the bikes, and services performed at damn close to peak level.

From beginning to the end these guys are top notch. Humble dudes that relish in what they do and it really shows in all aspects of customer service and satisfaction. Dropped my bike off for some maintenance and an exhaust installation. Chris, Noah, and Austin where all very personable and down to earth people. My bike instantly felt more enthusiastic; like a puppy eager to jump its leash. Best of all their prices were super affordable. So much so that a tip only seemed right. Definitely found a shop I trust and am more than pleased enough to recommend!

Brought my bike in to have an engine mount bolt extracted, was done in a timely manner and even got my chain lubed/adjusted at no charge! Shout out to Will for coming in on a day they were closed to finish up my bike. Overall i am very satisfied, especially with their customer service. This will definitely be my go to place in the future!

Rented a motorcycle for 4 days. Chris was accommodating and friendly. Had some problems after a couple days and Chris was apologetic and bent over backwards to make things right. Went way beyond what he needed to for my sake. Highly recommend this place and five starts to Chris. There arent every many customer-oriented businesses around like this one.

This place is great! They cleaned and adjusted my chain, and did a full equipment injection free of charge. Then they took time to talk to me about my bike. You can tell everyone there really loves motorcycles, and was to be helpful to other riders.Ted the owner is a life long sport bike rider and enthusist. I used to road race a Yamaha FZR 600 in the early 1990s at Willow Springs - and I found its exact replica at Sportbike Performance Center when I took my current bike in for some minor repairs. Ted, the owner, had some free time and we got to talking about racing and riding in general.Ive been to many bike shops throughout the years and I wouldnt take my street bike anywhere but Teds shop, while Im in Arizona. The cool thing about Ted and his guys is that they know road bikes and they know how to get the most out of them. If something is broken, theyll fix it. If nothing is broken, theyll listen - and tune the bike to your demands. You might find some hack to work on your bike for cheaper, but you wont find a better value in the Phoenix area than Sportbike Performance Center.To those of you who dont know Ted, he still rides on the track, although he doesnt race so much any more. Hes an experienced former AMA racer and hes a great coach, for those of you who want to improve your riding skills. Were on the track together sometimes at track day events and he still gives me valuable advice, even though hes not as fast as me.

If you are looking for a place to get your bike taking care of, sport bike performance center is the way to go. The staffs are very knowledgeable and friendly plus the owner is very down to earth chill guy. I been a great customer since 4 years now. You wont find a dealership experience over here but what you will find is very friendly staffs and a great job they do.

Very well-trained staff. Had my bike towed there when it died on the freeway. They gave me a tow Company that specializes in motorcycle towing. It was the fuel pump and had me back on the road that same day. Was very happy with the price and the service. Took it back the next week and had The suspension set up. Great shop! They do sport bikes ONLY. They really know their stuff and will work on any make of bike, and bikes of any age as long as they are sport bikes. They charge very fair rates, in some cases less than the cost of buying parts and doing the work yourself. The guys that work there are all riders who are passionate about motorcycles and will hold a good conversation with everyone who comes in. I wont take my bikes anywhere else!

Austin did a great job going through my bike and explained to me what he did and what needs attention. Small shop. But dont judge a book by its cover. Had my tires changed there and was impressed. They did a full inspection, lubed my chain and changed/balanced my wheels properly. All that for 60 bucks is pretty awesome. Not to mention. All the people there are super chill and friendly. Will be coming again!

I went to Sportbike Performance Center to buy some tires for a bike that I wanted to take to the track. Ted took time to have a conversation with me about what my intensions were regarding the track and the bike I brought. He gave me his best advice on what to do and I could not be happier that I ran into him. He saved me a ton of money and frustration. The best part is that it would have been in his best interest to do what I wanted but it wasnt in my best interest. His advice was a symbol of integrity which is extremely rare and much appreciated. He knows his stuff and is willing to help, not gouge or take advantage. I would recommend them to anyone. Great place!

I have had lots of work done on my 2005 ZX6R by this shop and all work has been perfect. From replacing tires to fuel system cleaning and chain lines and tightening! Have a high performance Hayabusa. Blew up the 1440 and looked around for a shop to rebuild. Sportbike Performance was recommended by a friend. Ted took the tome to explain the whole rebuild process. Once they tore it apart I received a phone call describing what they found, what they think happened (me!) and gave me a quote to rebuild. Completed when promised, hit the budget spot on and the bike has been spectacular to ride. Maybe a riding school should be next?? Thanks to Ted and Austin.

Im very satisfied with AZSPORTBIKE AND PERFORMANCE CENTER!!My personal experience exceeded my expectations. Didnt matter who I spoke with, the conversation was polite and the facts straight forward. Honestly, if they dont think a repair is neccessary, they wont even mention it. Try that at any dealership, youll be sold so many flushes and filters, the only thing that will be cleaned out is your wallet. That being said, the repair costs I have paid have been very reasonable. In conclusion, highly recommend and very satisfied!

My experience with SBP was awesome as always. FYI I am not a mechanic and not usually do the stuff on my bike myself. I wanted a reasonable service at the best cost as possible and I believe SBP meets/exceed my criteria. A bunch of professional racer mechanics I can definitely see at SBP. Although there has been some last minute hiccups, but I can assure you that these guys can go above and beyond to deliver the top notch service you want. I personally liked their enthu regarding motorcyles and everyone working over there is well aware of all the nitty gritties of motorcycles and will provide you positive suggestions rather than just finding ways to steal your hard earned money. Make sure you know what these guys are doing to your bike, especially a motor swap!!! I bought a bike from a kid that didnt know anything about bikes, these guys swapped his motor with the wrong one, plus did all the other work for the kid. He owned it a year after the swap, I bought it and found out its a 600rr instead of a 636. They claim its run great for over a year so EVERYONE should be happy, and that no one should have a problem with a 6 or 8 horsepower difference!!! Well, IM NOT HAPPY!! They may not have screwed me over directly, but they are shady and cant be trusted!!

This shop is the ONLY place Ill bring my bike to. Quality work thats double checked. Had a steering service, Valve job and Dyno. Cant beat the price.Great job, nice fellas.

I can’t speak for their sport bikes and track day options but I would not recommend this place for a dual sport rental. Last week I rented a KLR 650 (2004 with 21k miles mind you) and it was fun to be on two wheels but the bike had more zip ties holding the plastics and other equipment on than bolts. The boots literally had duct tape holding them together and when I asked for others the person working wasn’t much help, he wasn’t much help at all.. I ended up buying my own boots and gloves at another bike shop nearby and returned the boots and asks for them to be thrown away, the person working put them back on the shelf. The staff wasn’t helpful, the prices were not clear and I was overcharged (they also don’t tell you you’re being charged separately for the insurance) the owner was very rude and the bikes and gear were completely shot. Like I said I can’t speak for their “track day options” but if it is anything like the rental experience I had I would be afraid I’d be leaving the track in an ambulance. Unsafe gear, beat up/old bikes, weak service. Unless you want to have a nostalgic trip back to the days when you were young and broke with horrible gear and a bad bike, go elsewhere.

The staff is so friendly and chill, whatever you need done to your bike they got it. They don’t charge outrageous prices like other places do and it made me feel more comfortable and confident that they specialize in sport bikes.

I didnt make a reservation because I wasnt sure if I wanted to commit being from out of country and not knowing the condition of the equipment, etc. When I got there, they were happy to help out and when they had some issues with their rental process, they were flexible and made it happen.

Ive always had a good experience here. This is the only shop trust to work on my bike. I went through their SBK Training as well and it was well worth it. When I started racing I was finishing in the top three in my class. I credit Sportbike Performance Center and their SBK Training program for getting me up to speed.

I rented a Yamaha FJR1300 w/hard side bags and it was everything I expected – very fast. I dropped off a handlebar mount and wiring for my Passport radar detector the day before and when I picked up the bike it was installed and ready to go, no charge. I enjoy talking with the owner, an ex superbike racer, and Austin – real performance guys. The rental rate for the FJR1300 at AZ Sportbike Rentals was at least $50/day less expensive than other local rental places. I’ll be back.

My wife, son and I visited Phoenix April 2018. My son and I planned on spending a day riding through the beautiful AZ landscape with some work buddies. My son and I are not Hardly Ableson riders, and it was challenging finding a place that rented sport bikes. Sportbike PC does have them, so I rented a Yamaha FJR1300, and my son rented a Honda VFR800 using their online system. The bikes were ready for us (loved that, I hate waiting around). The bikes were in good condition mechanically, but rough cosmetically. Keep in mind that these are rentals, and a lot of people use them...people that may not be as good a rider as you are. Also keep in mind that the price reflects this. Theres a lot of places charging double what this crew charges. The bikes performed perfectly and we had no trouble at all. We had only one issue, and that was that the tanks were not topped off when we picked them up. If youre in the PHX area and need to rent a sportbike, I recommend these guys.

This place is a joke. The owner and his lackey in the back have no idea what they are doing. I had a suspension setup done here. It took 10 minutes no sag adjustment or anything he tweaked my suspension so stiff in the rear and so soft in the front it was dangerous to ride. 30$ for 10 minutes of work. The guy with tats setting up our suspensions was all pissy that we showed up and it seemed like we were wasting his time. I have had friends who are very experienced fast riders who have had suspension work done here and have almost wrecked. They should close this place down before they get people killed.If you need honest work by someone who knows what they are doing go down the road a bit (DTR) they will get you right.

Disappointing to say the least. I called on a particular bike a few weeks ago and I was told it was just sold. They tried to sell me on another similar bike. Later I see the same ad for the same bike so I called again and got the same sales pitch, it was just sold. I voiced my concerns about the misleading ads only for the salesman to hang up on me. This is a very unprofessional shop with the classic bate and switch tactics. If a business has to lie in order to get you in, I can only image what they will say just to sell you a bike.

ONLY place in AZ where I would take my Streetbike for anything. Free chain lubes, quick oil changes, simple to complex modifications to complete Nitrous installations and Turbos. Ted and his team knows their stuff and i can confidently leave my superbike in their hands knowing it will be done 110% correct. I brought my 07 Gsxr 600 (101rwhp 52k original miles) in for a 40 shot Nitrous kit direct port injection and at dyno produced 140rwhp. Awesome adrenaline pumping difference. . . I recommend these guys to ALL my superbike addicts. Dont settle for ANYTHING but the best!

Some friends and I went on an adventure ride in AZ. Two of six guys rented bikes from AZSportbikerentals. They were KLR650s. In my opinion the bikes were junk and lacked even the most basic maintenance. The bikes were held together with wire and zip ties...seriously. Parts literally fell off of them as they were riding, causing one friend to fall. Fortunately he was going slow when it happened and he wasnt injured. One of the bikes quit running altogether. Ted copped an attitude and forced him to help retrieve the dead bike causing him to miss not one day but two days of his vacation. After a lot of negotiating a replacement bike was provided which was a Suzuki DRZ400 in Supermoto trim. Not only was this not a suitable replacement but it was just as junk as the KLRs in my opinion. I rode it 100 yards to the gas station to fill it up and when I put my thumb on the turn signal switch the entire assembly rotated around the bar because the plastic housing was broken. In my opinion these bikes were unsafe, do not rent from this place.

If I could give a 0-star rating, I would. Completely unprofessional shop - you pay for what you get.Rented a Kawasaki 650 for the weekend of Friday April, 22nd - 24th.Right off the lot, I heard rattling from the bike. The bike has tons of miles, so I pretty much just took it for what it was and continued the ride. My mistake.The plan was to ride up to Payson, take the 188 South to Globe, through the top of the world, and back into town. Roughly 200 mile ride...About half way in, the rattling is loud and believe it or not, the front brakes failed. I called into the shop - they said the rattling is typical because of floating calipers and you could tell they did not believe me that the front brakes were toast. I was with 2 other riders that witnessed. Needless to say, cut the ride short using only my rear brakes back.I picked up the bike on Friday afternoon at 4:45...by the time I brought the bike back it was 5:30pm (approximately) on Saturday afternoon. They did not offer me an additional bike even though I prepaid for 2 days rental, they did not seem to care that the front brakes were failing, and didnt even try to acknowledge there was an issue in front of me. They even tried to charge me for the full second day even though I was 45 minutes past 24-hours. All in all - I prepaid 302$ and they refunded 100$...said they lost business because I didnt like the bike. In essence, they charged an extra 40$ for being 45 minutes into my second day of the rental....The owner, Ted, was even more pathetic and promised he would personally look into it and call me back. Its been nearly a week - no call. I get it if you think Im nuts and making stuff up - then prove me wrong, take the bike around the block and youll notice the front brakes are completely useless if you go over any bumps whatsoever. It only takes 1 time for the brakes to go out and not be prepared - and youre toast. There should be a lawsuit about this bike being rented out in the first place.Ive rented from other shops in the valley - AZRide in Scottsdale being my favorite. I would not recommend this shop for any riders out there. They have terrible rental products, ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY, and even worse customer service.

Bought a GSXR 1000. I wanted to find the best sportbike shop in town. Called a few but the guy I spoke with at Sportbike Performance Center (SPC) was by far the best to talk with and TOOK THE TIME to speak with me and answer my endless questions. In today’s business climate that’s HUGE! So, I took my amazingly clean used 1000 to them, and they looked at it, went through it and said I had made a great purchase. DIDNT CHARGE ME TO LOOK OVER THE BIKE! Again, thats huge. After talking w/Ted Rich a few times, I really came to understand what these guys do. They LIVE AND BREATHE sportbikes AND RACING Sportbikes. I mean what the hell are we doing with these things anyway? The racetrack is the only place to even come close to what these awesome machines can do. I found out that Ted races AMA and that he also TEACHES people who want to learn how to ride better or even take their action to the track. To make a long story short, I started training with Ted, in 3 months I went from the C group of riders to the A group of riders using Teds training and technique application. This past weekend I ran 4 races out at Chuckwalla raceway. I cannot express my endorsement any stronger than to say that if you have anything at all to do with sportbikes, you will not find better service, mechanical work or advice, riding training or advice than with Ted Rich and Sportbike performance Center. Also, if you are a female interested in racing or if you want your girlfriend to experience what it is you love about riding your sportbike, these guys have Elaine Carpenter, a championship winning motorcycle racer as one of their trainers for that special attention for the female riders. Rented a yamaha fjr 1300 - super friendly staff, and looks like a nice little motorcycle race shop.only complaint: a new yamaha was pictured on the website: the one I rented had almost95,000 miles, yes, 95,000 miles on it. It was in great shape for its age.it had new tires, and the brakes werent terrible, but the suspension was kind of garbage, and the engine wasnt the best.i rented it for 169/day, and although I dont like the sitting position of harleys my workmates rented brand new ones at budds up the street for about 120/day.

This place is garbage... i wouldnt recommend them to anyone!.... they do piss poor work and they didnt even install the parts i brough them to,... i had them do a full coolant flush and new thrmostat install these p.o.s didnt even put the coolant in i provided, instead they put water in my cooling system i up graded my radiator and went to fulsh it only water came out engine ice is blue and i runn it on all my bike never seen engine ce change to clear stay away from them they just want to make a quick buck and dont even install they product correctly STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP!!!!!! THIEVES

Bought tires on revzilla and installed here, they were put on within one hour after dropping the bike off, just as promised. Price was $30 per tire which was fair considering other shops wanted as much as $50 per tire.
