Overall I had a great experience with this shop. I had been working on an old moped for Years, replacing most of the parts myself. Struggling with the electrical and timing of the flywheel, and I needed a professional touch. They brought her back to life and I have been having a blast cruising around! Price was decent and the were timely with the repairs. I will be going back for my future bike needs!

They have had our Quad for 2 months and has not fixed a single thing on it because he’s sending it back and fourth to another shop. The receptionist called my husband and told him to either pick it up or they were going to charge him… My husband drove 3 HOURS from Yuma and when he arrived they said they couldn’t give it to him because they don’t have his parts on his quad. If i could give 0 stars, i would. DO NOT GO HERE

Dont let the outside fool ya this is a good little shop that treat you real well. I went in to buy a Honda and unfortunately I couldnt pick up the bike but that was only because they caught a hole in a valve cover and needed to fix the hole before I could pick the bike up. I came there with no Transportation they gave me a ride to the bank everybody was very pleasant all around!!

Alex and crew has never not had a part I needed. I’ve never had a problem they couldn’t fix. If your motorcycle mechanic is being a sissy and getting butt hurt that you have a scooter of any nationality (including Chinese scooters) Alex is the best in the businesses. If you have a tire issue and those little sissy girls and wimpy babies at Firestone won’t help you, Alex is the only place that will help you. Always friendly, fast, affordable, and unlike any other place in Phoenix, always willing and able.

I needed a new tire put on my Honda Elite 80 scooter and I needed it done fairly quickly. Not only did Alex Motorcycle Repair do this for me, but he even gave me a discount on the service charge because the muffler is missing on my scooter. I have read through the negative reviews on this place and I think people need to realize that this is a mom and pop shop, sure its a little more expensive than Ridenow Powersports or other larger powers port repair companies but they have to cover their operating expenses for their location.Anyway, thank you Alex for your help!

Yeah. Dont do it. Read these reviews. Its not a joke. I was heavily OVER charged for issues that still exist now. Their mechanics have no idea. This hole in the wall really does deserve its spot. Im a retired US Airman and I almost died on the road 3 times trying to ride home from their fixed issue. Do not risk your life. Skip this place. Save a smidge more and potentially save your life. This place is a hard No Shop No Buy quality.

Buyer beware! Very dishonest and unethical!!I was looking for a specific bike and found a listing on CL that was 500 miles away so I inquired. I found out that it wasnt a private party selling the bike, it was this business. He gave me his phone number and I called to inquire. I was willing to travel the 500 miles in my truck to buy the bike but, since it was so far away from me, I wanted to be sure that it was in good condition since I didnt want to waste my time with a beat up bike.I asked him about the bikes condition and specifically asked him if the bike had any damage to it. He said that it was perfect except for a scratch on the headlight. I figured I could live with that so I drove the truck to pick it up the next day. When I got there I discovered that bike had EXTENSIVE damage!! Every single piece of plastic was damaged! Controls didnt work properly! Basically, it was a piece of junk!I asked him why he hadnt told me about the damage to the bike when I called and specifically asked him if the bike had any damage and his only response was, the engine is in good shape. Maybe it was, maybe it wasnt, but I didnt even bother test riding it since I would not pay for a bike in that condition! He wasted two days of my time, gas money for 1,000 miles in a big truck, and motel fare for the night!! All for nothing! So, buyer beware! He is not honest, not even close!!

Ruined two motors! Refuse to pay for install service, kept sparkplug in from time of purchase to install. How did a bolt wind up in my piston head? Immediately called (30 day warranty on engine, had it back to his shop on day 13 of purchase) said two day turn around, held bike for a week, refusing to communicate. Performed UNOTHERIZED work on bike; expecting to charge. After I told his wife on day 4 of him holding it if hes doing work expecting to charge hes wrong, because he hasnt communicated anything with me. I show up, he has the entire engine torn apart expecting to charge me. I tell him no offer to pay him a little money for his work and when I take the bike home he didnt install the Piston head properly and it fell off inside the motor. Do not take your bike to Alex. He is a swindler, and a shyster. I will be seeing him in small claims court. Great install, alex. (photo was taken after I personally re broke down the bike, after his fixing of the issue)

I will admit I was a bit wary when I read the reviews, but I dont believe in discrediting a business because someone had a bad day and decided to take it to the internet. What I got was OUTSTANDING service. Alex and Patty are a dynamic duo. I have a very intense work schedule, and Alex worked with me to ensure I would have my scooter available by the time specified. I received nothing but amazing service, thorough explanation and affordable honest work. I highly recommend Alexs Motorcycle Repair.

I saw a bike being sold that needed a lot of work. Alex said it would take a month and 1k to get running. This would be my first bike so I didnt want anything that fancy. I thought it was reasonable because he said it had a new engine and it would be “No Problem”.It has been 4 months and still no working bike. He has called me to come pick it up twice and twice it has left me stranded on the side if the road as soon as I get it home. Not only has it wasted a lot if time which I dont have, but he keeps ruining my first experience with a bike.He seems like he just wants to get it done instead of having pride in his work.Update:It has been disappointing the length of time it has taken and with all of the mistakes but he is making it right. He came to pick it up, take it back to the shop and fix it. Thats all I can ask for.Update again:Finally after 7 months and lots of wasted time and money I have been able to ride it once and broke down again Trying to ride the 2nd time. Dont waste your time here. Take your bike to a professional shop and not someone who just wants to get it done.

Avoid at all costs. They say you can usually get two of three things from any business: fast, cheap, or high quality. I got none of the three. They charged me labor for installing tires. Ive never seen that before, apparently it takes a mechanic 2 hours to put on 2 tires. Seems legit. It took them 2 months to fix my CDI. There was apparently some issue about them ordering a new CDI and them not realizing they needed new keys, this cost me another $100.The best part is that when I finally got it home there was a 4 inch scratch along the side and one of the reflectors keeps falling off. Why does the reflector keep falling off? It was duct taped back on.I cant warn you enough to stay away from this business. They suck.

Garbage and racist. If your of ethnic background, dont give your money here. Came in asking about an older 74 Honda. Been looking for one for a cafe racer project build. the lady wouldnt sell it to me. No reason at all. I continued to keep asking why and she didnt feel like giving a reason. Just kept saying no. Had it outside for sale and wouldnt sell it to me. In fact, did not want to sell the nicer bikes either. Only the older ones and scooters. Money is green last I checked.

I definitely wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. The reason, I called for a quote to replace a chain on my sv650 the lady who answered the phone said 140 for the labor alone.... I went to Apache motorcycle on camelback and got a d.i.d chain and install for 159 after tax. A whole chain and install for 20 dollars more than their labor charge alone.

Every time they were too busy talking among themselves about how to run a business I swear, and as I pulled up they just looked at me like I had just passed gas. Never a straid answer, except one time as they were about to close, I needed a simple part and I explained it was an emergency 20 dolllar part. I offered 100 for his time and just got, Yes I have but me closed trust me STAY AWAY from this guy!!!!!! Finally ordered the part online and payed 38 with shipping

Grade A scam artists. Had the bike towed in on a monday as this was the only shop in my area open then. Paid $60 for a diagnostic and they told me theyd call me in the evening with what was wrong. No phone call, called in the following day and they told me we need to get a nut and washer in to diagnose it, its already ordered and will be here soon8 days go by and they finally call me, I go down with and am greeted with a $240 bill for services when all I wanted them to do was tell me what was wrong with it. Was forced to pay and before I left the mechanic (Alex) said Theres still some rattling in the engine, I cant guarentee any work done unless you let us take it apart and see whats wrong, it will take 8 hours of labor and total around $650I mentally gave him the middle finger and left. Rode down to apache motorcycle on 35th ave and camelback, dropped it there. They fixed the rattling in 30 minutes, total cost me $44 and warned me. What else did alex motorcycle repair do? They left all the bolts only half screwed in which could of fallen out mid ride at any time (one did) and potentially could of spilt oil all down the road that could potentially splash up and severely burn the rider.Avoid this shop at all costs, scam artists with shady practices that will gouge you for every dollar you can.
