My wife and I drove 25 miles to shop at The Helmet Center for a new full face helmet for her. She is very particular about helmets, having only worn a half-helmet for the past 15 years. She feels claustrophobic in a full face, modular or even 3/4 helmet. We recently bought a set of Sena wireless headsets, and they dont go as well with half helmets.Mark, our salesman, was wonderful. I had read in previous reviews how helpful they are, along with the wide selection, which is why we went there vs. the other dozen or so motorcycle shops and dealers that are closer.Mark was extremely patient, and after going through nearly every helmet there, my wife found one that she is willing to wear.We got a great price, some great gear, and my wife is happy so I am too!We also spoke with the owner and another helpful salesperson. They all made us feel like valued customers, and we will be back next time we need more gear.I strongly recommend The Helmet Center to any motorcyclist, whether you ride a street bike like us, a dirt bike, ATVs or side by sides. Theyve got a great selection and the best staff youre likely to find in Arizona, IMO.

I had to get new tires on my Harley, called in and talked to Darin. He took his time on the phone and got me prices on a few different types of tires, which I really appreciated. When i dropped off my Harley, I was talking with Daren about how I had to sell my other motorcycle He asked what it was and what i was looking to get. I ended up sending him some pictures of the bike and he talked with the owner. (I cant remember his name now) They offered me MORE than what I was looking for!!! They were honest, They didnt play games when I brought the bike in... I will only take my bike here from here on out!!! THANK YOU!!!

Paul was our sales person and he greeted us as soon as we walked in. He asked us what we were looking for and price range. He asked if what kind of helmet its was for. Took us to the and showed us different styles and explained Im depth on each one and what they had offer,style, comfort and safety features. We wanted them to match. He did some switching of the insides and made them compatible. By switching around and he was so helpful even installing our Bluetooth to our phones and installed them in each helmet. Even after trying on so many helmet he santized them before putting them back. He stayed late to finalized the deal. He gave a good discount for all the stuff we bought as 1 bulk purchase. I recommend Paul and the helmet center 100%. They are top-notch.

Went here for bike night on March 26th 2019. The slow speed races were a blast and the shop was clean and cool. Tons of parts and gear and I definitely recommend visiting especially if you just want to look around.

Great employees, excellent service. Needed a helmet for my son, but wanted it for Christmas. They helped me find the correct size and color, then brought my son back in after Christmas to test fit. Fortunately fit as expected, but were prepared to exchange if needed. Outstanding help.

To be honest, I’ve always gotten headaches when riding. And every time I’ve bought a helmet, it was from a kid making minimum wage. Then we found The Helmet Center. AMAZING knowledge, unparalleled service, and enthusiasm that is contagious. Dave, the owner, is the only person I’ll buy my helmets from going forward. His store is what small American entrepreneurship is all about. I think he spent 3 hours with us start to finish. I am blown away!

Helmet center is one fantastic business! Mark helped me with two girls helmets but unfortunately neither one of them worked. The owner and shop manager are very knowledgeable and really strive to do everything they can! Its a great place for whatever you need motorcycle related.I needed some help with tires, they helped me find em. They quoted me a price below min. Labor cost by mistake, but they still honored it. I needed a little extra help with a fork seal I was installing myself, they helped me out.Ive bought helmets, tires, comms, accessories there... they arent perfect, but theyll fix their mistakes.

Helmet Center has been the go-to place for me for years.... There hasnt been a time that I have gone in there that they havent said hi to me as I enter and asked if I needed any assistance. Sometimes I do. Sometimes I dont, but it is never high pressure.Their knowledge of gear, especially helmets, is top rate. You can tell they all ride, giving gear and riding tips. The owners are very customer interactive and the staff is top notch every time Ive been in there.I saw the 1 star review below and was shocked to read about their experience. Then I checked his profile and every one of his reviews is a 1 star except for one. This person is obviously very hard to please if everyone makes him this unhappy. I worked retail in my younger days. Everyone wants to go home at close and he obviously knew it was closing time to mention it. Who makes people stay late purposely and then doesnt buy anything? Just saying....Compare his review to all the rest of the positive reviews. They are accurate to what Ive experienced there. This is the best place in the valley for gear, parts and customer service.

Passionate and helpful staffI am a new rider, and needed a lot of help getting the right gear. I was helped by numerous employees who took the time to understand what I needed. You could tell that all the employees were passionate about motor-sports, and were knowledgeable about their products. I really cant complain about this place at all. Phenomenal retail experience.

The name would lead you to believe that this place has a wide selection of helmets. NOT the case at all. Hardly any of the real estate is actually stocked with helmets or goggles. It seems all they they carry are the helmets out for display. The customer service was decent, the selection of helmets not so much.

They have always been helpful with the knowledge of all the products without pushing the most expensive item. Prices are very competitive and they will take care of you.

Stopped in this morning for an inexpensive part for a helmet........ got immediate service. They were out of the part but pulled one from another helmet so I didnt have to come back........said they had more coming tomorrow and would replace it on the helmet they borrowed from. That kind of common sense business is rare these days........service was great and much appreciated........this all over a $10 part...........Ill be back.

Helmet Center and it’s employees are professional, courteous, and very detailed. I would recommend this location to anyone that, rides anything on two or four wheels that go fast!! And most of all their technician Todd is very knowledgeable, and he is by far the best guy to go to if you have any work that need to be done on your toys!! I will be back there very soon!! I needed tires for a Gold Wing and they had them. Did a walk in and Im from out of town. Gave me a great deal on a helmet as well. They were able to get me going again. I know it says Helmet Center but I notice they do much more. Need an oil change or an adjustment, seems to be no problem. I cant thank this group of guys enough. Heck, they were showing me area rides that would be fun on a motorcycle. There was a small gathering of riders out front getting ready to head out. This is a cool store and if they dont have it, well, they can get it. Thank you guys for helping out an old dude with a young heart. You connect well with the public and they ginually enjoy their work.

The overall experience was good. I got exactly what we needed. But the guy behind the counter wasnt very nice at first. I explained that I dont know anything about helmets and he kept using helmet terms that Im not familiar with. I had to keep reminding him that I dont know anything about helmets. I think he was trying to show me that hes informed, and he is, but it came across as arrogant and intimidating.

Guys here were patient with my lady helpful and nice. I appreciated it and so did she. She found a helmet she loves and is very happy with the decision she made. Very good prices also! Thanks!

I bought a helmet, jacket, and gloves in April 2017 from The Helmet Center on Union Hills Dr. It was a good shopping experience.Today, I lost one of the fasteners that secures the face shield to the helmet. I went to The Helmet Center to buy a replacement. Although they did not have a replacement in stock, they installed a newer, better style on both sides of the helmet. When I asked them how much I owed them, they said it was covered under warranty.The people working at The Helmet Center are great.

They did a great job fitting the mans and I for helmets and getting me gloves that actually fit to ride in. Definitely would recommend!!!

Helmet center is by far one of the best motorcycle gear/bike shops I have been to and the employees are outstanding once you walk in they open you with welcome arms and make sure your every need is met from advice to loaning you tool to fix something on the fly. Helpful, knowledgable and friendly staff. Good selection of helmets, limited selection of clothing (I guess thats why theyre called the Helmet Center and not the Clothing Center.) Still, even though they knew I wasnt buying, they let me try on jackets just to see what size I needed (lost almost 100 pounds since I bought my last jacket so had no idea what size I am now).

Very friendly place to go to get motorcycle gear. They didnt try to RIP me off. Showed me the best deals and they let me put my business cards in their shop. They will always have my business.

Please teach some of your employees to (A) not think that your customers were born yesterday (B) When a customer is looking at less helmets that are not $800 to not run to the customer and tell them its a garbage helmet because of that is the case it tells customers that you are perfectly fine with selling garbage (C) Not to rush customers when closing time is getting near, if your employees dont want to be stuck at work five minutes after closing perhaps they should look into working elsewhere other than a retail shop. Your shop lost the sale of a riding jacket, gloves, helmet and a motorcycle. I like to to to places that I have never shopped at before just to see how I am treated before making big purchases there. And because of your employee I gladly gave a competitor thousands of dollars in business.

Top of the line! Better not go anywhere else. These guys give 110%!!! I bought a chain from them, the bike said 525, when it was a 520 on the bike. Had the chain off and the bike was on a lift, called them up and they brought me the same xr chain but a 520. Had no transportation to get to them, so they came to me! Awesome place too, tons of gear and advice. Newest equipment, and always getting more in.

Great selection of products and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. One of things I like is they make sure that any gear you buy fits properly and you how something works before you leave the store which is something that doesn’t happen at the big super stores. The other thing I like is they take the time to explain to novice riders and don’t treat them like idiots like I have seen happen at other stores.

Great prices and really accessories. I bought a new helmet in June and also a Bluetooth music system and they installed it for me at no cost and in about 20 minutes. Plus the gentleman took the time to explain the new tech toy that he just installed in my helmet and Im not tech savvy so I really appreciate him. This store has the best customer service. Over the last couple of years I have come here for presents for my husband. Even when I am bored she what I need, the employees are friendly & helpful and point me in the right direction. They arent just trying to make a sale, they really want to help you. The best selection of helmets ive ever seen and the pricing is great! The 1st helmet i got kinda gave me a headache after wearing it home and they let me exchange it for another one! I shouldve been able to just return it for my money back but thats not their policy so it is what it is! However, i am very happy with the helmet i ended up getting! They installed new rear lights on my bike also at a reasonable price and the guy did a great job! The manager lady seemed kinda uptight but my sales and service guys were cool and good at what they did! The store is big and everything is marked with good signage! The shop is off the rear of the store and has 5 or 6 mechanics on duty i think and the ones i worked with were great! Very knowledgable and did an excellent job in a fair amount of time! They also have a decent selection of other riding gear as well!

With less than 500 miles after getting new turn signals put on one fell off while riding. They refused to replace it but offered to try to install it again after I bought a new one from them.I was going to just leave this alone until I saw the reply. You failed to mention you called him up and demanded that I remove the review instead of contacting me directly. Also hes a new rider, he rides very little the actual mileage since the install was under 500 miles, less than a good day riding. Add to that the fact that your shop did not install the light, just scheduled the appointment and asked him to pick up the bike because you didnt have time to do it and reschedule. A friend & I installed the light and inspected the work done. None of the lights your shop installed had loctite or locking washers even. And this is on an older Harley. I feel my one star review is justified.

Every time Ive gone into Helmet Center these guys have been more than helpful. All of the employees are very knowledgeable and take the time to properly fit you in any gear: helmets, jackets, boots, whatever. Theyve ordered me gear and parts, so its become my one-stop-shop for my bike. Local business with great service and they can order any part - its a win on all fronts.

Top notch store. Im a business traveler passing through and found items other stores dont bother stocking. Could I save a nickel buying from EBAY? Yes I could, but I can try it on here and have great support to boot. Take it from a non-local who sees bike shops from around the country, this store is a gem. This is, by a long shot, the very best motorcycle store in the valley. Although the inventory is not as extensive as it is in other stores, most things they can order online and they even do price matching.The benefit of this store, over purchasing online, is that theyre very knowledgeable and can help with fitment or recommendations. They also have an outstanding repair service and now also pre-owned bikes at great prices and in great condition.The real gem of this place, though, is the people and how they treat customers. Very bad experience with this place. I returned for vacation from Afghanistan Dec 22. For Christmas my wife surprised me by having my Harley Davidson get a much needed tune up from here. When she went in to the store she told them at a minimum she wanted a tune up but ultimately she wanted me to be able to just get on the Harley and ride. In the month I was home I was able to ride a total of 6 miles. The first time me and my wife went for a ride the Harley broke down on the I-17. We had to call a tow truck to pick us up. We called the store and asked the mechanic what he was told to do to the motorcycle, he said at a minimum a tune up. The store owner and one of the mechanics were nice enough to come to our house to look at the Harley for us. They found out that it was the Sparkplugs that were bad. I called back to the shop and talked with the mechanic again and asked him if changing the sparkplugs was part of the tune up. He said it was but remembered being told not to change the ones on my Harley. The store put my Harley on a trailor and took it back to their store to fix it. The next day we went to pick it up and was charged for the sparkplugs and time needed to change it. I took the Harley home and that afternoon we got ready for another ride. I started the Harley to let it warm up and when I was getting ready I noticed a puddle of fuel under the bike, needless to say we did not ride. My wife spent over $800 dollars on the bike and we did not even make it 10 miles. The shop never even offered to cover the tow truck fees even though the Sparkplugs were paid for with the tune up and even charged us again for changing the sparkplugs later. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE FOR ANY TYPE OF MAINTENANCE ON YOUR MOTORCYCLE.

First Captain Nate was extremely helpful while guiding my wife and I through protective gear choices. We spent approximately an hour going through options until we were able to find a safe and budget friendly set up. We never felt rushed even though it was near and then after closing time.

Always a good experience, great staff! If they dont have what I want I will happily wait for them to order it even though another store has it in stock, their customer service is that good! They work with you and treat you right. I am a very loyal customer.

Have heard nothing but great things from friends and thought Id pickup a new helmet here. Had a great find and special color ordered quickly, staff is so friendly youd consider them family. Went back a couple months later for some minor adjustments that required taking the helmet apart, they did it free of charge since they remembered me buying there. LOVE THIS PLACE
