Wow, so happy Johnny Goodson and the boys did a great job on my bike. I had some suspension and custom work done and could not be happier. I had a terrible experience at independent motorcycle in Chandler, but Johnny Goodson from Arizona Custom Cycles made all that go away. I suggest you dont go to the shop for convenience. you ride as far as you have to to get to the best shop and thats Arizona Custom Cycles I can promise you that. Im going to let everybody know Johnny youre the man.

I initially brought my 19 Road Glide to Johnny in Feb or March to upgrade to the Native Customs wide front tire and it turned out awesome. Whoever he uses for paint is good. I came back shortly thereafter and had AZCS upgrade to the rear Legend suspension and electric center stand...The custom bracketry work he did for mounting the compressor and wiring for both units was professional and clean. THEN I came back to them to upgrade my HD 131 to a Feuling cam, cam plate, oil pump, clutch, compensator, and and oil filler vented cap to handle the added power. Overall I am really happy with Johnnys work. He keeps a clean shop, keeps his work area clean and organized (being ex military I look for that in a shop). He knows his stuff and is reliable on his recommendations for what to do/not do...as in his solid recommendation on what cam to use for my kind of riding. I can only guess he holds his other techs to a high standard as well. I recommend Johnny Goodson and AZ Custom Cycles. Im a big displacement rider for 40 years and I appreciate professionalism when it comes to my machines. So much so that he and I are planning a custom build with the S&S T143. I am confident that with his history of building custom bikes, its gonna be a beauty. What the hell. Taxes are going up so might as well spend it now. Well done Mr. J.

Great shop. Needed a new gas tank and my controls extended forward. I was quoted 1,000 just for the tank at other places but they did everything for that price. It was definitely worth the wait. I highly reccomend and will be back when I have some more money to pour into my baby.

Johnny and Dan are a killer team!I went in knowing I wanted higher bars for my Wide Glide, but I couldnt decide between Z bars or T bars and what height. With their opinion and advice, I went with 14 T Bars and they are perfect! Im a taller guy so these bars make the bike much more comfortable.Even though they had a decent amount of bikes, they turned my bike around 3 days ahead of schedule.On a more personal level both Johnny and Dan are solid guys. They have a wealth of knowledge and they are great when youre just picking their brain.I appreciate it guys!

I was very impressed by Dan. He found and fixed an issue I had forgotten to tell him about prior to my service. He is very thorough and detailed in his work. My bike was riding great afterword. I will definitely be coming back for service in the future.Update: I had a mechanical failure and brought my bike in for maintenance. The owner knowing this is my only vehicle offered to come in on his day off to repair my motorcycle so I could get back on the road and get to work. He sacrificed his personal time for me! I’ve been riding for over 50 years and in all that time I haven’t found a shop that provides better service at fairer prices. Johnny did some custom body parts for my bike, switched out the old tour pack, custom paint and sound system all done perfectly and at a very fair price. His skills are outstanding.Thanks Johnny.

These guys do some great custom work. I only had a small job (headlight), but I came out better than I expected. Dan is a great guy and went over all the work that was done. Will be taking my bike back for any future custom work. Highly recommend.

I brought them a friends bike that had been sitting for over a year. Danny told me exactly what was wrong with it, exactly what needed to be done, and an estimate of what it would cost. A couple of days later the bike was finished as promised. It has been a month and I have had no issues with this bike. I have called them with follow-up questions and they have been more than happy to answer my questions. I cant say that I look forward to bringing my bike back for repairs, but I do feel confident that it will be fixed correctly and at a fair price. I highly recommend Johnny and Danny

Outstanding service, a REAL Mechanic/Technician! I stopped in by chance not knowing about his shop or experience, Without an appointment and from out of town (Chicago). having an issue with my/throttle lock. John dropped what he was doing to look at it. He got me back on the road and with a smile on my face in 20 minutes! I just had the bike in for warranty service work at a Triumph dealer in the area and when I asked 2 service techs and a parts counter person about it they couldnt offer any advice on the repairs. Some Techs just replace parts. John has a mechanical knowledge to actually fix and repair. Thank you, Johnny!

Johnny is a fair and reasonable business man. He will give you truth, a fair price, and quality craftsmanship. In the past ten years, No one but Arizona Custom Cycles has put a wrench to my motorcycles.

I have had one Mech work on every bike I have had in the past 30 yrs. He is no longer with us. So I tried AZ Custom Cycle and glad I did. Very knowledgeable on trouble shouting over the phone, price for fixing it was fair, workmanship and timely service was wonderful. They will be getting all my business.

Johnny goodson and his guys are stand up people. i brought in a bike i just bought that needed its 40000 mile checkup. i let johnny know i was on a budget and he more them worked with me on that .the bike needed more parts then expected so it cost a little more then i wanted but a lot less then it could have. in the end at least i know it was done right . i will definitely be using his services again next time

Great experience. Had a leaking engine seal, these guys took care of it. Fair price, better attitide and treatment than at the dealship. This is where Ill be taking my bike from here on out. Solid place. Highly recommend.

I have never been treated so poorly. The owner might be a wizard when it comes to motorcycle maintenance, but has no idea how to run a business. He refuses to make appointments. With 2 weeks notice, he cant promise to finish changing two tires when given a full day. He doesnt take notes or remember a customer from one visit to the next so dont bother pricing things out with him if youre planning on coming back. He wont keep his quotes, and wont honor what he said. Since my bike is the most important thing, i could have overlooked his poor business skills, but at one point he actually turned to an employee and complained about ME, to my face, and then walked away. Regardless of his skills as a mechanic, no one should conduct business so rudely and unprofessionally. I will never return and recommend you find a better human being to do business with.

Always been there whenever I needed his help.i happened to be riding by one say stopped and asked him to check a vibration in my bike. He never made it out of the parking lot .he turned around pulled my bike in and told me I wasnt going anywhere. He put my bike on the lift and in 1 minute showed me the giant egg that was not supposed to be on my 250 rear tire Im not sure I would have made it home. Great honest work and always reasonable. I also brought him a friends bike that had not been ridden in 10 years. The work was being done so he could sell his Roadking. As soon as he saw his bike after it was serviced it was no longer for sale!!!! Not only did he do a great job,his pricing was and is always reasonable

It took them 2 weeks to give an estimate and then they charged 25$ per day storage and fee for doing the estimate. After a bargain its reduced to 20$ per day. But still it’s not my fault it took so much time for doing the estimate.And all this while my bike was just sitting outside catching dust.

First time here, looking for a good mechanic and I found it. I’ll be back for sure when my bike needs it.

Bought a brand new 1973 Super Glide and own it to this day. It’s pretty much stock but I was having trouble starting it and it is a kick only. As you can deduce by the above continuous kicking a Harley in the hot desert can be a challenge for a “mature” biker. I had worked on the bike to improve the condition for hours and even had taken it to three other local shops to find a solution-nothing worked. Based on my history with this company on my other bike, I gave them a shot. The owner Johnny Goodson and his ace support mechanic, Danny, took the bike in and returned the Shovelhead running fantastically. These guys are wizards! This kind of talent and skill is not easy to find. That I can attest. If you’re looking for competency in technical motorsickle maintenance these guys are the solution.
